Love white castle hamburgers! Anytime I see one, I will definitely stop to eat them. No pretense, cheap, tasty, nutritious, great, small tangy, pocket burgers, fries, boxes, bags, and drinks. The fish filet is good too.

One of the hazards of working at a restaurant at dinner time is that you might end up serving $60 steaks with $10 salads right next to $300 bottles of wine... only to head home late enough that your only options are either cooking at midnight after a hard day, or you might end up eating something like this. On the plus side? I like chicken rings. I like Mozzarella sticks. My wife likes the sliders and fries, though I find both of those a little icky. Is it great food? No. But a bunch of processed chicken fried up and some fried cheese that probably contains very little dairy product will fill you up and help you keep that pear shaped figure you've always struggled to maintain. Big plus? Showing up right as they kick all the people out of the dining room and make announcements about calling the cops and kicking the addicts out of the bathrooms. They scatter like cockroaches. Dinner AND a Show!

I was out very early one morning feeling sick and I needed something fast and filling. I was greeted with a smile at the drive thru window. The loaded french fries I ordered were LOADED with BACON strips. And their large cup (mmm sweet ice tea) was freaking HUGE. Needless to say, I had a great experience at this location.

No. Methinks not. Go to McDonald's. Go across the lot to the Hardee's. Anywhere else. Unless you're not from the East Coast like me or have never tried it, don't go. No wait, let me save you a couple bucks and save you from a horrible meal. It's not worth it even if you're not from the East Coast. Go elsewhere. Yeah, sure it was in Harold and Kumar, but ... no. It's not worth paying for four oily mini 1 sq inch of a patty between buns that are soaked with oil. Fries are nothing special either. I finished eating my meal and felt like crap. Not full or anything but felt like I just downed a ton of oil. I guess I got the chance to say I've been to White Castle though? But no. Don't go. Get the point? Don't go!

I have to be honest: I hadn't eaten at White Castle in nearly 20 years, after becoming violently ill from a slider as a child. My husband talked me into it the other night . They have online ordering, which is kind of cool. You can pay either online or in the store, and you select your pick-up time. I ended up with a chicken sandwich with cheese -- not bad, although a bit pricey at $1.60 -- and some mozzarella sticks. Mmm. Mozzarella sticks.

Chicken Rings, need I say more! This location can get a bit dicey after the sun goes down, be careful. Lots of people "hanging out" around the property. Please make sure to check your order before you leave. They forget sauces, dips and condiments all the time!

Sliders are a fond childhood memory. We lived too far from Indy to get them regularly so whenever my parents went to the big city, they would bring several bags of 'em home. I like them now as a late night snack since they're open 24 hours on the weekends.
