The sideline burger was the best thing going there. When it changed owners, the new menu became your standard pub fare. Loud music, basic food, pool and darts. Nothing stands out there anymore.

Go there often for get togethers and every Tuesday is Steel horse Tuesday... biker freindly

A huge place. Walk in the bar and there is a huge half circle bar right in the middle with pool tables, games, and seating on the right. A dance floor and more seating on the left. Staffing owners are very friendly and welcoming. Food is just an average, but the drinks are strong. A ton of TVs throughout, great place to watch the game. Probably the only time I can recall, but the bar is covered with Miller Lite / Coors light football contact paper. The bar does have a rail and a box foot rest. Bar back is nothing special. Darker lighting except near pool tables. I'm inclined to give the place two stars, but it feels unfair. Really not my place, but not a bad place.

I haven't even gone and I'm giving this place a low rating. I'm trying to find the right FB page to them as there are many and when you find it they do a poor job updating their entertainment page to let you know what bands are playing. They also don't update their website page. So I won't be making a trip out to the east side Til they figure out these blunders already.

They have the worst buffalo chicken wrap I have ever tasted in my life, but they make a decent steak. The beer and whiskey selection isn't all that great, and when you consider the name of this place that is simply not acceptable. I only go here on Thursday nights now and then to play trivia and win some easy money like a champion. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably avoid it.

Not all that good food is bland and tasteless. No seasonal beers which you think any decent bar would have.

This is far from my favorite bar in Indy but I go here all the time because it's so close to home that I can walk. The reason I am giving them a 5 star review is because the bartenders are so nice. They know who we are and generally know what we want to drink. More selling points: - incredibly cheap drinks. Sometimes you can get craft beer on draft for $2 a pint. Sometimes they have $5 pitchers. I've often gotten $3 cocktails here. I don't know of another bar with drink specials this good. - cheap bar snacks. They're not the best quality but who cares? When I want Bosco sticks or a soft pretzel, I'm not trying to eat like a gourmet meal - free pool on weekdays. I'm not amazing at pool by any means, but it's fun! Especially when it's free! The very first time I came here, I had a really bad experience. The bartender hadn't noticed that we walked in and we waited like 10 minutes before walking out. I didn't want to go back after this, but I gave it another shot out of convenience and I'm so glad I did. I go to Whiskey Business several times a week now to play pool and drink cheap beers.

Love this place! From reading the reviews you'd think its not worth your time. Well, it really depends on what you want. If you want a gourmet meal and a hoi tie toi tie drink this is not the place for you. However if you want some delicious bar food and good relaxed company with some fun games and friendly staff come here! You will have fun. Don't expect to meet a bunch of singles here this is for couples or singles looking for something to do in a relaxed environment

I'm here now with the INthelooptv crew and I am having a blast. Very nice size sports bar. Plenty of tables, good size bar, some pool, darts, and a nice size stage for the bands to play. Being a sports bar there are many TVs to watch, and the food is DELICIOUS. The service here is amazing, and if you have the privilege of having Madison, for a drink, ask for her to surprise you. You can thank me later. The most important thing is that everyone here is having a great time. At this point in time, this is my favorite sports bar in the Lawrence area of the eastside of Indianapolis. Check it out! I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Amazing wings and pulled pork bbq sandwich! Our waitress was beyond awesome as well. Good place to sit outside, relax and have a good beer.

I'm at a lost with this place. I wanted to like it, I really did. I asked my friend to check it out with me for a future spot for a bunch of us to watch a Colts game down the road. The venue would be ideal, spacious, multiple tvs of various sizes, four pool tables. Unfortunately a big deterrent was the age of the crowd at the bar last night. Mind you we went at 6 since we had to be somewhere at 7:30, but the majority of the people sitting at the bar were late 40s and up (and some were playing air guitar and singing with the jukebox - I'm not a fan of that). Our group is 20s & 30s :-/ I ordered a plain Jane burger and my friend ordered a tenderloin. Out food came out fairly quickly, but my friend wasn't a fan of their tenderloin, she was pretty certain it wasn't hand-breaded and that it had been frozen prior. I was content with my burger, the patty was pretty big. I had some basic chips with it, nothing plus or minus about them. We each got water, and even though our waitress seemed pretty nice, I never was offered a refill. All in all, this place is probably great for some and sub-par for others.

There's only one way to describe this establishment; Fun. It's as simple as that. For starters, lets evaluate the parking situation. The facility is located within a strip mall next to Family Leisure (formally known as Watson's). Parking seems to go on forever. If customers can't find a place to park, they probably have went to the wrong restaurant. Parking is not a problem here. Once inside it's impossible not to notice the massive bar. Mike and Robin have done a great job building this place. The bar carries nearly everything, including Indiana's own Triton Amber, which brewed in Lawrence. Tables and booths are available and the food is delicious. On Tuesday's they offer 50 cent tacos and wings, and their menu choices expand from there. Entertainment is all over the place. There's televisions located throughout displaying some of the best sports available. Pool tables give customers a chance to show off their skills and it's not uncommon to find a band or customers singing karaoke. If that wasn't enough the clientele provides it own entertainment by including nearly everyone into the conversation. This place is like Cheers on steroids. Now lets examine the details. The restrooms are large and clean. The faucets are the traditional types, which doesn't restrict how much water you can use to wash your hands. This is hard to find in today's economy. The staff is one of the most engaging groups we've come into contact with. They do their best to ensure that everyone is having a great time. The establishment does allow smoking, however with high ceilings and plenty of airflow, customers typically walk out smelling the same way they walked in. The menus are easy to read and understand and the music is played at a level that entices dancing, while still allowing customers to continue on with their conversation. As mentioned in an article on Examiner.com , this place truly does cater to everyone. All in all, Whiskey Business is a 5 star establishment.

This is a loud, hard-boozing bar, not a restaurant. If you want to get sloshed on fishbowl drinks, this is your place. If you're looking for decent food, look elsewhere, because the food here is largely irrelevant.
