Weber Grill is my family's go to lunch steakhouse in Chicago, obviously was pleased to note that there was one in the quaint downtown area of Indy. Weber has a varied wine and beer list, rotating seasonally for the beers, and something fro everyone. The waitstaff is knowledgeable on the different beers, which is great. It's frustrating if they say "I'm not sure." Steaks are great, sides are great, but my secret love at Weber is the roasted corn vinaigrette. I hate corn, but I love this dressing. It's on the chicken chopped salad, which is one of my favorite entrees. Yeah yeah, the pretzel bread is good, but there are so many unnecessary kcals in that..just have a drink instead.

Came here for dinner after reading the great reviews. Was only ok. The pretzel rolls were obviously less than fresh. Two of the three were very hard on the bottom. I ordered the Backyard BBQ combo with Chicken and Beef Brisket, along with sides on mac-n-cheese and broccoli. The meat was good, but would have liked a bit more BBQ sauce. Asked for and got some on the side. The broccoli was steamed without any kind of seasoning. It was not good for my tastes. Overall not bad, but I won't go out if my way to come back.

I love this place. The pretzel rolls are delicious. I've been here many times and the service is always good. I've tried several menu items but my favorite is the BBQ combo with pulled pork and brisket. Prices for the entrees are a little higher than places like Applebee's but the food is much better. Desserts are a bit pricey but the chocolate bundt cake and carrot cake were very good. My only advice is to make a reservation ahead of time is there is a convention going on downtown. They get pretty busy when there are big events downtown. I would recommend giving them a try, I bet you will like it.

I love Weber Grill! It's my go to lunch place. The service at the bar during the week is excellent and the food is fantastic. I recommend the Martini burger or the pretzel roll sliders for lunch. For a larger evening meal, go for the brisket or pulled pork and the sweet potato casserole is great. The Smokey Joe martini is the best martini in Indy.

because of my love's love of the Weber Grill I've been coming here a lot. The Parmesan Crusted Tilapia is pretty darn good. It's topped with a lemon herb butter sauce. I opted elect to get the grilled asparagus since it's quite good. The service is also been consistently exceptional. +1 star for you Weber Grill!

I was in Indy for a conference and ate dinner here. The food was AMAZING! I had the crab cake for my appetizer, light crispy crunch on the outside with moist crab filling. Not too bready and eggy like some crab cakes I've had. The relish they serve on the side was delicious too. For the entree I had the beer can chicken! WINNER. Dessert...a blondie that was out of this world. The warm carmel sauce is poured over the dessert table side for a warm delightful finish.

Brother was in town for a Pacers game (he called it a Bulls game) and we met him and his family here for dinner. I've seen the giant grill hanging on the front of the building so many times, but I've never been inside. I was pleasantly surprised with the dimly-lit, woodtone interior and giant, cozy booth that fit 4 adults and a little one with elbow room. Various games on tvs filled any lulls in the convo. Sound level not loud, either. We were able to carry conversation across a large table. I highly recommend Weber Grill for tender, grilled meats in the center of the city. The beercan chicken tastes like my home recipe: tender & seasoned only enough to keep the kids interested. The shortribs fell right off the bone &, yes, I licked the bbq sauce off my fingers! But, oy Geshmak, the brisket was amazing! It was served in nice, tender slices instead of a shredded pile. I would return to Weber to specifically order this delicious brisket. Shrimp skewers and garlic mashed potatoes are pretty standard but they're good. Thin, crispy onion strings aren't overly greasy. The service was outstanding - our server was friendly, nice to our niece, and knowledgable about Indy. Prompt with drink refills and local advice, but didn't hover at all. Nice selection of craft beers including local favorites such as Fountain Square Brewery. Our niece was impressed by her large vanilla ice cream bowl with a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie tucked on the side. I'll bet there are other menu items, including salads, but I'll admit... when there's a grill climbing up the side of the building, it's not a time to go veggie!

I came here wondering how good this would be... Really? A restaurant by a grill company? It's going to really suck or it's going to live up to its name. Well... The server was uncomfortable. He felt really awkward and rushed at times. But we came for the food. And... I loved the pretzel rolls. The turkey soup was AMAZING. Lastly, the steak came out true to order temp. I guess you can judge a book by its cover.

I went here for Devour Downtown and was so incredibly disappointed. First of all I think I saved a few dollars by going during Devour Downtown (maybe $3?), but my bill still cost $43.00. I got a mediocre caesar salad and salmon with veggies. Any of the salmon recipes I make at home were better than this. My boyfriend got chicken and we thought it would blow our socks off (considering it would be grilled on an actual charcoal weber grill), but it tasted like it was baked and wasn't even seasoned well. So disappointing. Will not go back.

My husband and I went to Weber Grill this past weekend for our anniversary. Everything about the experience was 5 stars. I called earlier in the day to see if they recommended reservations and the hostess said yes. The only time they had open was 5:15pm, so we took it. Turns out it's prom season right now and there were high school kids in their formal finery everywhere. Normally I'd expect something like that to dampen the experience, but it didn't at all. The hostess sat us in the lounge/bar area, giving my husband and I a huge horseshoe booth all to ourselves. It was really nice, and gave us a feeling of privacy despite how crowed the place was. Our server was fantastic. Very attentive and knew the specials and draft beers well. He said he was excited we were beer drinkers, apparently the usual crowd there is more into cocktails and wine. And I'm telling you what, the Working Man beer from Fountain Square Brewery that they had on tap was fantastic. I'm glad he recommended it. We went with the Weber Sampler for our appetizer. It had beer can chicken tenders, barbeque shrimp, ribs, and steak kabobs. Every bite was delicious. We both had difficulty deciding between the same two options for our entrees, so we ordered both entrees and split them. I had a combo, pulled pork and beef brisket. I didn't really want the sides that were available with it (cornbread, coleslaw, or baked beans) so I subbed a house salad with ranch. I have been craving brisket for months and this didn't disappoint. The pulled pork was good but the brisket was sublime. When I saw it had a visible smoke ring I knew I was going to be pleased and it satisfied me after months of dealing with sub-standard brisket. My hubs ordered the 16oz New York strip with garlic mashed potatoes. I've never had an aged steak and I finally understand what I've been missing out on. It was the best piece of beef I've ever eaten. The outside had nice bits of char and really great smoke flavor. The inside was moist, but not juice running everywhere moist, and an excellent flavor. The potatoes were pretty phenomenal too. Very creamy but with nice little chunks of potato. It's definitely pricey, but well worth it.

Always the perfect choice for dinner. Service was wonderful, food incredible. Steaks were cooked exactly the way we wanted them to be. Teenagers loved the pretzel rolls. I ordered the molten chocolate amore cake which was delicious. Husband had the dark chocolate cake, kids had key lime pie and one had the apple cobblers. Good time had by all.

Pulled pork sandwich was light on pork, so the meat flavor was nearly indistinguishable from the slaw and crispy somethings (onions?) also on the sandwich. It was okay (3 stars) but I don't think I'd order it again. Kettle chips were plentiful and nicely crisp (3.5 stars). Service was friendly and extremely attentive with water refills. Today's lunch was nothing to brag about, but it was decent enough to give Weber Grill another shot in the future ...just probably not in the *near* future.

Groooosssss. Every time my beau and I go, I tell myself this time it will be good. After our last visit, which involved the manager, I'm over it. The service is never good, and I'm always disappointed, and I've tried almost everything. It's way to much $$ for such crumby food. Not going back!

I had been going to Indianpolis on business for years and always passed the giant Weber grill hanging off of the side of the building. Looking at the outside, I always felt it was a little silly and likely not very good due to the gimmick. Well, that was until a colleague took me there one evening. Walking in, the gimmick continues where the railingings have weber grills in them and everything is cooked over open flame. It was definitely more classy than I expected but not what I would call "classy". The beer can chicken was very good and they had some nice specials as well. Everyone enjoyed the dinner and the noise level was just right to be able to get a little bit rowdy at the table without it being disrespectful or feeling like tables nearby were overhearing you. Still not really 4 star worthy because the food is OK. However, I do have to admit it is a worthwhile place to stop by especially if you are a fan of outdoor grilling if just for the experience.

A solid 4. I was a little apprehensive about being seated in the bar, but the waiter was fab, funny, and friendly (and had a pretty sweet mustache, too). Two comments about the food, then I'm done: whoever decided to shove a beer can up a chicken's hoo-hah is my new hero, and Weber's rendition of it is delicious (so much gravy, yummy taters). The manfriend, who never orders anything other than a burger, did all he could except lick his plate to get every last bit of food from the American kettle burger. So, uh, the end.

I've been here twice in two days. Twas sort of a happy coincidence...I'm not obsessed. But, it was damn good both times. It was delicious AND consistent (important, because my experience is that they've struggled with consistency in the past). My meals were exactly as ordered and fresh. What's really key--their food is just about as good (I swear, once even better) the next day. They pack stuff up really well for you and every entrée I've had has heated up very well. Especially the burgers (ditch the lettuce, though). Also, while their menu price point is arguably a few dollars higher than some of the other neighboring places, it's not across-the-board. My burger, for example, was ~$11...only $1 more than one down the street and much more tasty.

Meatloaf. Sooo good. Seriously. I don't care for the beans here and I love beans. Ribs are tasty, and service is always acceptable to spot on. But the meatloaf! It's heavenly. I always convince my fellow diners to order it, too! No one is ever disappointed.

Super cozy atmosphere, staff that know and love the menu and their customers, and excellent food--what is not to love. I had no idea that Weber had restaurants that are almost as awesome as their grills (their propane grill is awesome!). My friend had the parmesian tilpia which which I regretted nor ordering because it was so.damn.good. I went for the beer can chicken which is a favorite but I cannot say I was overly impressed (I can't say I was disappointed either). The side of mashed potatoes was HUGE and as decadent and awesome as they were I could only eat about half. We split a nice warm, brownie with ice cream for dinner and damn it was good. I recommend only ordering one and splitting it with someone--unless a diabetic coma is your cup of tea. I really enjoyed this place.

I expected far more from this restaurant than what I got. I ordered a burger that came with blue cheese butt, Idon't like blue cheese so I asked to switch to Swiss and was told "no problem". When it came to the table after way longer than it should have been it had the blue cheese on it. Not a big deal until I asked them to fix it and was told that "the mix on the burger comes that way and you can't omit ingredients. Ok, first off, the waitress should have said something and 2nd of all, I was super disappointed to see that there food is pre made or pre packaged. I expected far higher quality and the price does not reflect the food quality. Oh and then there was the side salad that came undressed and not with any dressing on the side........just dry. So needless to say I was sorely disappointed and won't be returning to this one or any of them.

Decided to try it with a few colleagues. The specialty martinis were excellent, our favorite was the salted carmel apple. Still thinking about those! LOL. The pretzel rolls are amazing with the cheddar butter. We ordered grilled garlic shrimp skewers, a bbq combo, fillet kebob and teriyaki skirt steak. All were good. None of the food stood out as exceptional, but all in all it wasn't a bad place. The service was great though!

It was simply ok...honestly if you want a awesome steak that will come out the way you ordered it...either cook it yourself or go to outback lol. I mean for a restaurant that is promoted by the Weber Grill Co. you would think everything coming off those grills are perfect lol. It was fun to experience but the food is to pass and the restaurant manager seems like he needs to step up his A game for sure! I can see why there is only 2 restaurants in the US lol.

I was disappointed. After hearing from several people how fabulous the Weber Grill was I expected more. We were told it would be an hour wait, which wasn't a big deal because we were thirsty. After two hours we were finally seated. Another 45+ minutes for our food to come out. I don't remember what I got but I remember thinking it was okay and that I have had better. I liked the atmosphere, the interrogation with with grill parts the decor was cool.

This restaurant makes downtown Indy smell amazing, that lured us in. The ribs and the pretzel rolls were awesome and if I was only rating those I would give 5 stars. Unfortunately, the brisket had good flavor, but was dry. The BBQ sauce was a little to sweet for me. The corn on the cob was mushy and my cornbread was cold, almost like it had been frozen. In the end, I would go and just eat ribs and pretzel rolls, you could fill up on those alone.

Weber Grill has a great downtown location, nice separate bar area and the dining area had great atmosphere/decor. I will need to give this one another try. I was not really impressed by the dish I ordered which was the steak kabob or by the service we received. Definitely overpriced $23.00 for what was presented. I believe my expectation may have been higher after reading the other reviews here. Overall it's not bad/not fantastic but I would give it another try next time I return to Indy.

Finally decided to eat at this place last night. I think I've also seen one in the downtown Chicago area. They were busy, glad we made reservation. Somewhat like a high end bbq joint with a more extensive food and drinks menu. Had the BBQ combo of ribs and brisket and it was good, I wouldn't say extra special but it was worth the price. Though I like my wife's beer chicken dish better. Their pretzel bread is nice, not a fan of hard bread type. Portion was good, place looks nice, service was good, and price was decent. Plus it's attached to circle center so you can just walk the mall after a heavy dinner.

Went here on a Saturday night. Slow service probably due to packed house. Make sure you make a reservation or expect to wait long time for table. Food is excellent but priced a little high for the portion size. Go with a combo where you can choose different things to try. I had ribs, chicken, and beef brisket. All were very good. Beer on tap is pricey also at nearly 5 bucks for 12 oz glass. No tall boys here. Overall I would eat here again.

Kimmi M. told me to come here for my birthday dinner, and what Kimmi says, goes. My first and only star removal is due to our 20 minute wait despite the fact that we had reservations- I realize it was prime time on a Saturday, but we didn't call ahead to reserve chairs in the waiting area. Once we got to our table, though, everything was gorgeous- our waiter was a darling guy named Blaze (which is absolutely perfect, and I've now convinced myself that all the Weber Grill servers have fake names they use for their job, like Blaze or Fire or Flame or Coal) who put up with my father asking long questions and not listening to the answers. The pretzel rolls were hot-salty-sweet and delicious. My boyfriend took some home in his jacket pocket to use with our Thanksgiving leftovers. I ordered the seasonal special, the cedar-plank-grilled scallops (which I felt were a little bland) and risotto with bacon and squash (it was very satisfying). This came with mixed greens and a dessert, all for $30-something. The mixed greens had the whole array of veggies, not just some sad lettuce, and the dessert...my personal favorite. I had the spice-rum-infused pumpkin creme brulee. Atop the creme brulee were two candied pecans, which I felt slightly ruined the fun of my dessert, because as I removed them, the creme brulee cracked and I didn't get to do my favorite part of the whole thing (besides eating it, of course)- breaking the surface with a spoon. I managed to survive this nonsense, especially after a Weber Irish Coffee (with hand-whipped maple cream- DELICIOUS). Their espresso is from an automatic machine, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're too picky about that. We got separate bills and Blaze was on top of it all the way. He was quick with drinks and had it all under control.

Service was slow as hell. I would appreciate an update, or at least a check in periodically...but no, I had to sit there hungry without a clue as to when my food would arrive. Food... My table of five ordered all of the wrong items on the menu. The barbecue chicken was the only thing that was good. The ribs were not smoked like they should have been, pork chops were dry, and the brisket was like cardboard. Other people from my office recommended other items on the menu. Larger parties may have a tough time when the restaurant is busy. So...If I ever had to go back to this place, I would probably only order the following items: Meatloaf (several people from my office recommended this item) Steak Chicken (very moist and seasoned well) I don't think I will return to this restaurant. They tried to charge us an extra $5 because we requested dark meat chicken on the combo, and $3 for spinach when I didn't get any other sides. The waiter never told us anything until we got the bill. I think he was confused. This was super ridiculous after the hour wait for the food to even come out. We ended up getting a couple of free deserts (cheese cake and chocolate bunt cake which were delicious) and two free entrees.

There is nothing more American than Mom, apple pie, and BBQ! To eat in a restaurant adorned with BBQ paraphernalia and cooked on actual charcoal briquet BBQ's is totally kick ass American! From the giant red Weber BBQ attached on the outside of the building, to the grill tops as part of the decor, to the BBQ scene paintings hanging on the walls, the Weber Grill is a dedication to the American summer institution of BBQ. When you walk in you instantly smell that amazing aroma of real charcoal BBQ. Yes! As I was here with clients the other night I could not take pictures (as they would think I was crazy) but here is a quick overview of my dining experience. - The place is pretty large with lots of seating, and very clean. - Nice decor with BBQ pics and pieces on the wall, but classy not too kitschy. - Great service as our waitress was attentive, friendly, patient with us, and offered terrific recommendations. - Basket of amazing pretzel rolls on the table with two types of butter. These rolls were soft, hot, and so freaking good. - The Weber Starter Sampler included Rib Fingers, Beer Can Chicken Tenders, Grilled Teriyaki Steak Skewers, BBQ Shrimp, and frizzled onions. A great start to our dinner as everything was delicious. - The BBQ'd Black Angus Meatloaf. Yes - it is BBQ'd, and amazing. Served with Weber's own Hickory BBQ sauce on the side, a giant slice of moist cornbread, and creamy cole slaw. Again, delicious. - Had to also try Weber's Signature BBQ Ribs. Fall-Off-The-Bone, Hardwood Smoked St. Louis Ribs, and Weber's Hickory BBQ sauce. Meaty, smokey, good. They also have a really nice craft beer list as I washed this down with a few ice cold Rogue Dead Guy ales. All beers this evening were only $5 too. Decent wine list and a diverse specialty cocktail list too. You are also welcome to view the BBQ chefs in action in front of their open kitchen. It's pretty cool to watch these guys do their thing on giant BBQ's with flames shooting into the air. We were told there are four of these restaurants, and the Weber family is still involved with them. Just a pretty cool concept and way to have a good all-American dinner. Can't wait to come back here next time in Indy!

I visited this restaurant while traveling with a colleague on a business trip. Even we were truly famished, I believe I was served the best meatloaf on the planet since sitting at my mom's table. It was moist and so flavorful. I ordered the combo, and also had the ribs to take back to the hotel.... also truly amazing the next day. It was busy and crowded, but the wait was not interminable. I did also think the service was excellent which is so rare these days. It was my first trip to a Weber grill, and I know we have them in Chicago, and I will visit them again. The Sangria was on special that day, and it was very tasty and smooth. Try that too.

Pretzel rolls are always my favorite start to every meal. They should make it with some type of mustard butter or something. Love, love, love the black bean burger. It is somewhat bland, but it is filling and healthy and delicious. When I crave burger, that is my go-to. Price-y though. Reserved for special occasions.

I understand this is the only Indiana location of a Chicago restaurant venture by the people who brought us the actual Weber Grill. Great interior design in a very good downtown location helps justify relatively high prices on the menu. However, visiting at lunch on a Saturday with a relatively light crowd, I'm not sure why our orders took something like forty minutes from order to table. I had the chicken (I can make it tastier with a marinade on my Weber grill). The beef (tasted a tablemate's) was very good.

If you're going to lunch don't expect to be in an out in 30. Other than that, everything was pretty excellent. Except the rolls were not warmed and the butter was frozen making it impossible to spread appropriately. Some veggies options but not many. Drinks are expensive but made well too. No real complaints. Wish they would come to CA.

One of my favorite places to eat downtown! Great prices, fantastic food, and service that can not be beat. I recommend the grilled prime rib. The portions are huge so be prepared to take some home or bring a really hungry friend. The hot pretzel rolls are awesome.

I love both of my Weber grills at home and my best friend has raved about this place for years. So I was anxious to try it when I got to Indianapolis. I love the atmosphere of the place. The pretzel rolls with cheddar butter were to die for. Just make sure your bread is hot. The portions are just enough to fill your belly without that miserable feeling afterwards. My Caesar salad was prefect. I also had the 7 oz. fillet with garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes had just enough garlic without being too overpowering. I finished of my meal with cheesecake topped with blueberries. It is the best piece of cheesecake I've ever had. Not too sweet and the whatever is in the crust sets it apart from other cheesecake. The staff appeared at my table at just the right times without being too much in my face. I'll definitely be back. May even drive up from Louisville just to eat here. I like it that much.

I was there with four friends for dinner two weeks ago. This was my first visit and I was anticipating the meal anxiously based on the reputation. I was so disappointed! The "jumbo shrimp" on my kabob were medium. The server was brusque with us and actually seemed angry. These were the positive points. The real kicker was the MOLD on the pretzel rolls! The manager apologized, and comped one dessert, but with so many other choices, I won't be back!

This place is amazing! Great atmosphere and conveniently located near the Circle Centre Mall. The pretzel rolls are delicious and we have never tried an entree we didn't like. I only gave it 4 stars because the cornbread is too moist/dense for my liking. We always reserve our table through the Open Table app and we have never had to wait over 5 minutes.

I ordered the Salmon salad which was just enough food for lunch - it was light, salmon was perfectly seasoned, and the dressing was tasty! The only thing I did not eat on the dish was the feta cheese and beets since I don't really care for them. Server was attentive and easy to talk to. They have a huge bar which looked awesome and a long list of beer/wine. Would def. come back if I'm in the area!

I tried out the farm burger and it was absolutely delicious! The lamb really shined in this burger which was cooked perfectly and still pink when ordered medium. The creamy goat cheese and bacon only added to this flavorful juicy burger. The fries were an added bonus and were very tasty and crisp. The meal starts with pretzel rolls which although not perfect are different enough to add to this dinner. Will be back to try other menu items but I now know where I'll be headed the next time I get a craving for a great burger.

This is a nice place. The serving staff was nice, the food was very good both times I went (in the same week), and the beer selection is not bad. It's just very expensive for its premise. It's a grilling restaurant. The meat is grilled, the veggies are grilled, the cornbread is grilled. I expected my drink to be grilled. I feel like the price is mostly for the decor, atmosphere, and novelty of the place. That said, the food is good and it's probably worth going at least once. The best deal, in my opinion, was a three meat combo. I would definitely order that again.

I was up to the Weber challenge - is it the Weber restaurant that can cook better burgers, or is it me on my Weber charcoal grill? It is me. Their burger came with some sort of olive/blue cheese tapenade on top, and the beef was flat and soggy, kind of sad in taste and looks. The combo didn't work so well. My burger is thicker and juicier, hehehe. Stick in your mouth, that fullness, difficult to replicate.

If you are in Indianapolis, do not waste your time here. I did really enjoy the spinach artichoke dip. However, the rest of the meal was overpriced, over cooked and poorly served. If you're going to be spending $100 for two people I could think of 100 different places to go in this town. I thought the idea of a chain was to consistently deliever a quality experience. The mistakes we encountered were basic issues every restaurant should be able to control. Wrong drink orders, wrong food orders, not bringing lemons for a drink, not bringing sides for the meal. I had the chicken kabobs that, even if they weren't incredibly overcooked, were very underseasoned. Others had cold pork, uncooked squash, and a steak that was described as "ehh." All of this may have been forgiven if it wasn't so expensive. I understand they are using quality ingredients, but if you don't cook them well, what's the point? If you're heading for a night out, find somewhere that wants to make you a memorable meal, not just a quick buck.

I had to go downtown today to pick up some work-related mail and since I had one of my Cali friends with me, we decided to get lunch downtown. Alas...not being familiar with the area, we could only find a 20 minute meter...and didn't know about the mall parking garage for $1.50 for the first 3 hours. So, because we only had 20 minutes to grab lunch and we both had conference calls at 1:00 p.m., we decided to dash into the Weber Grill Restaurant to take lunch to go. The hostess who took our order was super friendly and we got our orders in under 20 minutes. I had the smoked turkey sandwich with fries and my friend had the catfish sandwich with fries. OMG! We got a ton of food. It was still nice and warm by time we got back to my house and enjoyed half of our lunch before having to jump on calls. The other half is starting to call my name now...so it will make a great afternoon snack :-) The interior of this restaurant is nice and next time I need to go downtown during lunch, I'd like to try the dining in service. A little on the pricey side for lunch, but for the amount of food we received, it wasn't too bad.

We've been here a couple of times and the place reminds me of a LEY (Lettuce Entertain You) restaurant. That is, vibrant, well run, comfortable, good food, good prices, and good service. They have a darkish, wood paneled casual steakhouse feel. Wife had their surf and turf (shrimp/scallop and petite filet), and I had the pork chops, which hit the spot after a long day. We also met up with the son and a couple of friends who had between them the prime rib, beer can chicken, and meat loaf. We also had a couple of their paper bagged apple pies (ok, but not exceptional). All were happy with their meals, and it was a nice way for all of us to finish our Indy 500 day.

What's there to do on a Friday night but ditch the husband and kids and have a girls night out. We made reservations at 6:00 but due to my chronic lateness we had to push it to 6:30 at the last moment and they were oh so accommodating. Our waiter was AWESOME. He was very attentive. John David you showed such awesomeness as our waiter! My friend ordered the crab cakes and devoured every bite. I had the salmon as I am trying to eat a little more healthy these days and it was delicious. My other friends got the BBQ chicken and one got a burger. Both raved about how good the food was. None of us had been there before but I will most certainly be back with my husband as this is his type of place.

Was pleasantly surprised that this "grill" had such a diverse menu - I had the mahi-mahi and it was fantastic! Also tasted the meatloaf - WOW - and all ten people at our table seemed happy with their various entrees! Staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.

It has been a long time Weber Grill. I still really enjoy dining here. The service is always good. The food is consistently good. Anything from their BBQ menu is great. I had the plank salmon and I loved it. I'll be back soon.

This is a great restaurant. Small but OK craft beer selection. Nice food. I usually go to the on in Chicago. The one in Indianapolis (to which this review pertains) was just a great. No complaints. I tried the veggie salad with a bowl of beef brisket chili. Great combination with a pale ale! Nice wait staff. And greater too.

For a chain type restaurant the food was great considering how busy they were and prices were fair. The cole slaw with bleu cheese was fantastic.

From start to finish, seating to bill, it took almost two hours for lunch. This was at almost 2 p.m. on a Thursday! Way too long for my attention span. I liked the $10 lunch menu. I just felt like we were after thoughts and the staff was not very attentive. Will not be going back. Food was decent.

While I'm wary of chain restaurants in general, I must say I was impressed with pretty much everything at this Weber Grill. Service was great and the food was fast and perfectly cooked. The skirt steak was medium rare as ordered with just enough char. Beer selection was great (opted for the Shiner Bock). Good vibe and genial atmosphere.

Don't let the chain restaurant thing fool you; Weber Grill rocks. Beautiful, classy deco in downtown Indy. Attentive wait staff. Warm pretzels rolls with regular butter and cheese butter (like classy Cheese Whip, strangely enough) are provided for the table. I tried the teriyaki steak that was perfectly seasoned with crisp peppers and vegetables served with it. I loved the mashed potatoes as well. My parents both had ribs and loved them. Tried a bite of the Hubs' meatloaf and was totally impressed. It truly was grilled meatloaf and had a smokey hardiness to it. When we go back, I'll probably be trying that! A delicious, meaty adventure.

Excellent service and exemplary food execution. A group of friends and I meet there once a year during a convention, and our Weber Grill meal has become a tradition. Four years in a row, and not one thing to complain about. Definitely make a reservation to avoid the inevitable long wait. Prime Rib had a perfect amount of smoke, and the Rye Manhattan was spot on.

I was in Indianapolis for business and staying downtown. The Weber grill has a great reputation and everything is cooked on Weber Kettles. We had the lamb chops and a strip. Both were done to perfection. Great selection of draft beers too. You won't go wrong eating here!

good place to hangout but was disappointed with their veggie burger. This is my third time to give this item a chance but still not care for it. The first two times it was burned & this time it tasted like a carton board, however the service was good.

Yelp led my colleague and I here - walking distance from our conference. There was a wait (good sign for a Monday night) and it was packed. I felt sorry for our waiter because we had just come from our "Welcome reception" and were rather buzzed/tipsy. His name was Dave, he asked if we wanted something to drink and I burst out laughing - my friend said we had already had our share and water was great. They served warm pretzel rolls that were great (wished they had refilled that basket!) - I was not too hungry so I ordered the house mixed greens with roasted corn vinaigrette and asked for him to add avocado. My pal got the appetizer sampler and a house salad. He gave me the bbq shrimp skewers to add to my salad and some onion strings, so I built my own fancy salad. The best was Dave did not charge me for avocado so my dinner cost me $6.00 before tip. I happened to have cash (a rarity) so I put cash in and told him I didn't need change, which my companion found hilarious since i put ones in over the amount for tip and he asked, "What would he do, give you ones back?" He enjoyed his beef skewers and beer can chicken skewers, but said the ribs did not compare to Carolina BBQ (he is from Greenville, SC). It was very pleasant, affordable, and delicious and I can't believe how "cheap of a date I am for myself" haha! UPDATE 5/19: had lunch, the server was awesome she gave me pretzel rolls to go for my plane trip!!! had the bbq beef quesadilla yum!!

You can smell Weber Grill far before you actually cross the threshold. Delicious. And always busy, so service is hit or miss. Good luck getting a table, but if you do, you will enjoy yourself! Expensive, though.

I visited this restaurant few days ago, WOW very nice experience. Made reservation through Yelp. We were there on time, and table was waiting there for us, even do the place was packed. Waiter was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the menu, food, and drinks to go with it. We ordered Weber Starter Sampler for 2. Everything on it was excellent. For dinner we had pork chops and beer can chicken. Delicious!!! and for desserts we had Warm Macadamia White Chocolate Blondie. Highly recommended. All in all wonderful experience from the moment you walk in till you walk out. We will definitely go back.

I heard there were only two Weber Grill restaurants... one in Indianapolis and the other in Chicago... It's unfortunate cuz, being on the west coast, we are totally missing out... I've been here once on a business trip and just thinking of this place makes my mouth water.... (oh yah, Pavlov dog style...) The service was excellent, the people there are friendly and helpful. The food was delicious!!! I had a steak done medium-well and it was the juiciest steak I have ever had... (hold on... I'm drooling again...) Anyways, the steak was juicy... and the mashed potatoes were creamy... yah, okay, I can't think of anything else to say except that damn, that was a good dinner!!!! Okay, so the ambience was nice... dim restaurant, dark wood, not so colorful... except for the different styles of Weber grills they had on display... while I was sitting there waiting for my food I was thinking that this was a great place for a group of people and also as a date place... I was also thinking this place would do very well in the Gaslamp Quarter in Downtown San Diego or on Prospect Street in La Jolla... If you love steak... (did I mention the steak was juicy?)... make sure you hit up this place!!! You won't be disappointed.... (psssttt!!! Weber Grill owners... open a restaurant up in San Diego!! Please????)

A very nice place, the food was very good but out of the 2 times I've been here there is nothing that I dream about or care if I have it again. Still it's a very nice place to go to the complimentary bread they give you was very good. The staff was very friendly I will go back sooner or later.

I've been to this location 3 times now, and have enjoyed 2 of them. Service has always been favorable, even when they're really busy. I recommend the pulled pork when going here. It's very tender and their sauce compliments it well. Their ribs aren't too bad, either. If you're feeling really hungry, get their BBQ Combo. It comes with plenty of great choices. You won't be disappointed, nor hungry after finishing it all.

i rated 5 stars for the service. The gentleman that served us was extremely nice. I order the veggie burger. I just ate a little bit and I did not want to take it home. So he did not let me pay for the burger because I did not like it. It was not because it was not good, it was just not the kind of my favorite taste. They also serve complimentary pretzel rolls with cheese. We had 2 rolls left and my friend really liked it so I asked him if we could take it home. He gave me a whole bag of new hot rolls. It is very nice of him. Two of my friends ordered regular burgers and they really liked them. I will definitely go back when I've got a chance to visit Indianapolis.

We went here on a Saturday evening, and thankfully had reservations. We were put in a backroom that was nice. The food was mediocre. Pro: The decor, the waitress, the filet was delicious. Cons: the food - the prime rib was dry and tough (ordered medium rare), the noise level was insane that shouting and not hearing were the only options. the appetizer was terrible - the onion strings. I would not come here again, nor could I recommend it to anyone. I had a better experience at the Outback.

The last two times I've been to Weber, I've had meals that have HAUNTED me later. (In a good way, hahah!) I am in love with their meatball/pesto pizza. You must try it with Sriracha. The beer can chicken is amazing, as are the ribs. The first time I went to Weber a few years ago, I had the pulled pork and it was just average. But since discovering their flatbread pizza and the ribs, I want Weber all the time! The service has always been excellent, no matter what time of day we are there.

I came here on a cold, windy afternoon (January 5). I didn't know what to expect being a first time customer. To my delight, my expectations were met and beyond. For starters, they give you unique pretzel rolls which had a surperb texture. As extra credit, they go beyond by serving their loyal customers this delicate, tasty cheddar butter crafted in their kitchen. It was worth the three blocks it took to walk there. The food was served in a timely matter. The waitress was perfect in her top-notch serving skills. She was speedy to always refill water cups in excellent fashion. I ordered the beef brisket. This was the best beef brisket in Indy. It had a winning flavor which included these adorable onion straw things as a boost. The aroma was great to flirt with my nostrils. I loved this beautiful experience. I will definitely be back.

Steakhouses and pubs seem to be a trend in Indianapolis there are dozens to choose from but this place caught our eye. By far the fanciest bbq joint I've ever been to! The place is really modern, with unique but simple decor. The service is excellent, all the staff greet you when you walk by and our waiter was really attentive. The cocktails were delish I had a passion fruit-mango margarita. The bbq is juicy and seasoned well, I ordered the beer can chicken. Talk about good ol' American cooking!

I have never had a good experience at Weber Grill. I do not know why I keep going back, b/c I continually become more and more unimpressed. Why does ANYONE really need to pay $14 for a freakin' hamburger. It is just bread and meat!! The reason this place leaves such a bitter taste in my mouth is the service. It is ALWAYS packed, but despite having a lunchtime reservation, my husband and I waited nearly 20 minutes for a waitress to even ask us to "hold on for a minute". The manager noticed we did not have drinks (he seated us) and offered us a free appetizer. It didn't make up for the fact that my hubby had to eat as fast as possible to avoid missing his 1 p.m. meeting. WTF is the point of making a reservation if it takes 20 minutes to get acknowledged? And, on top of that, the food is just not that brilliant. For the prices and the reputation, I was beyond disappointed. I have been here three times, giving it a very fair chance, but TRUST me when I say you can find a better burger without the side of pain in the ass this one will definitely come with!

Hadn't really heard much about the place but wanted to try it because of the brand name. I mean you figure a company that makes great grills can also make great food on said grills. Well, that's not entirely true. The food was decent, but nothing that really stood out. For the amount of money we paid, I would've expected larger portions and just a better quality meal overall, but that's not what we got. Our waiter seemed nice enough, but was too busy running around to really pay good attention to us. Good thing they leave a large glass of water on the table for refills, or else we probably wouldn't have got much water. He did his best though, so extra points for that. Anyway, the food is decent, but the price of the meal was a tad expensive. Probably worth it to go somewhere else for better tasting food in larger portions.

Great place for New Year's Eve. This was the only place we could find reservations available on a busy night and we were very happy with everything. We had fantastic service and food was great. I highly recommend Weber Grill for anyone looking for a good date night place.

Came here last week for a lunch meeting and the food was terrific. The bread was warm with the two different type of spreads. We did have to wait 10 minutes to be seated since it was the lunch rush, but the time went quick. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Caprese Panini and have no complaints at all. The fries were good as well, although I didn't have much room after the panini for them (large portions). I will definitely be back again. I think lunch is a perfect time to test out new restaurants to see if you'd like to come back for dinner.

3.5- good, not great My wife and I came out here during a house hunting trip. I was pretty excited to try this place, seeing as how they had pics of famous bbq joints from around the nation. I figured these people had done their homework. Service- service was decent, and relatively attentive, considering how busy it was. She seemed to know the menu pretty well, and even gave us the inside scoop on side dishes. Ambience- it's kinda dark in here, and kinda hard to hear the person sitting across from the table from you, though that's probably due to the fact that this place is ALWAYS busy. Still, it's got a classy feel to it. Food- my wife got the pulled pork and brisket, while I got the ribs and brisket. My brisket was super tender, though my wife's was slightly tough. The ribs were ok, as was the pulled pork. It was cool that they gave my wife TONS of pulled pork though. OH yeah, before they serve you your food, they give you these pretzel rolls with cheese. Kinda different, though they are tasty. Cost- most entrees are roughly $15-20, depending on what you get. They also have combos so you can mix and match, and try a couple of different things. Overall- probably the best bbq we've had in Indy so far. We haven't been here long though. Not a bad option if you happen to be downtown. Chuck Norris Rating- thumb jab

I used to own a Weber grill. I hated it. Just couldn't get an even heat, and believe me I know how to grill! But I loved the Weber Grill restaurant! I ate at Weber Grill bc I was in town for business and, honestly, it was too cold to walk down to Fogo. The dining room is pretty small, but the taste was big. Ordered a cup of the steak chili to start, and it was FABULOUS - best thing on the menu! Normally my meal would be a filet or ribeye, but for some reason I ordered prime rib with a little garlic rub. It was great, but I wish I'd ordered the filet for a better apples-to-apples comparison with other steakhouses. I'm not complaining at all, just made a bad decision for me personally. Baked potato (substituted for the usual mashed) was huge (as was the PR) and I didn't order anything sweet. Service was great, and the dining room was nicely decorated. I can't give it 5-stars until I return for the filet. If it's as good as I think it will be, I'll update at that time.

I always enjoy Weber. We ordered the seasonal set menu, which is a good value: choice of salad or soup, choice between two entree's and sides, choice of dessert and beverages for about $30.00 per person. I went with the plank grilled scallops and butternut squash risotto and chocolate pecan pie. My son went with the maple glazed pork tenderloin medallion, garlic smashed taters and pumpkin creme brulee. we both chose a very good caesar salad with very nice cheese. everything was very good, his entree was even better than mine. the service was very good. all in all, a very nice visit and a great value for good quality food. oh, the pretzel rolls were very good too, and the butter spread they bring with them.

I ate lunch here 2 days in a row because I liked the atmosphere and food so much. It was a little pricey for a basic dinner but their lunch specials are great! Everything I tried was good but I really liked the pretzel rolls!

Service: C- Food: C+ Prices: $30 - $40 for a steak with mashed potatoes. $9 -$16 for an appetizer Very disappointed. For the amount we spent on one appetizer and two entrees, we could have eaten a perfect meal at Ruth's Chris with dessert. Service was bad, food was overpriced, and overspiced. The steaks were about average.

It has been awhile since I have been here so maybe things have gotten better.... I dined here with my family after the Susan G. Komen walk last April and I wasn't too impressed. This was our second time here in the past year or so. Service was a bit slow although the restaurant was fairly empty. I will say that their pretzel rolls are absolutely amazing! The rest of the food is just OK. I know my BBQ and this is nothing to write home about. The BBQ sauce doesn't have much flavor to it, almost as if it came out of a jar of Kraft BBQ sauce! I got the ribs and lets just say, I have had better. They were not very tender. Honestly, the only thing memorable was the pretzel rolls. I probably wont ever be back here. I will stick to cooking my BBQ at home!

This place had a great menu and ambiance. We sat in the bar because the wait for a table was too long and I'm glad we made that choice. Our bartender was so funny and made our experience awesome! Dale was great! I had the seared ahi tuna and the hubs had mussels and Mac n cheese. Our friend did the sampler platter and a wood fire pizza. With drinks and everything we only spent $120. Well worth too. I would go here again anytime!

This was my first time at a Weber Grill restaurant and I really liked it. It's the perfect restaurant to go have a good meal of meat -- particularly beef. The atmosphere is busy and noisy, but in a nice city way. We were able to have a great conversation without having to strain. I started with the smoky joe martini -- fabulous. It hit the spot. The pretzel rolls were warm and delicious. I had the beef brisket, my daughter had the filet mingon and her friend had the appetizer of steak cabobs, which arrived nestled on this crispy bed of thinly cut onion rings. We also had garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection. There is not too much that is imaginative about the food, but it very authentic and expertly prepared. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I have eaten here three times and two of the times I have gotten sick. Try and go to some place different, as it is not very good as far as Weber Grills are concerned in my opinion. The meals that got me sick were the meatloaf and the chicken breast. Great service and atmosphere though.

If it tasted like it smelled, it would be one of the best places in the world to eat. The Chicago area ones are good but not great, so is this. Got BBQ combo, ribs & pulled pork, ribs were okay but been sitting so long the bone broke making it hard to eat and fatty too, not good. Pulled pork was good, not great, good spice, sauce okay, meat tender but a littlle over done. Three years ago had one of the best meals of my life there but not so much anymore.

This was once my favorite place to eat. Love the bar area with all the flat screens. Not too thrilled about the dining room with all the booths that are tight and the dark room. Happy with the music choices too. The ribs are smokey, tender, with a pink smoke ring and the sauce is very good. They are starting to make the mistake that many restaurants make, that of skimping. They formerly had baked beans, slaw, and corn bread as the sides. They took away one, so now you pay extra if you want that side you're used to having. They give you 2 wet and hot cloths to keep you clean. Also love the pretzel rolls to start with. Often I crave them. Early on they had a dish Caribbean tilapia that was to die for. Smokey and grilled perfectly. They took it off the menu. I've been crying ever since. Love their smoked meat loaf too. It's still available. The slaw was an unbeatable vinegar base that was laced with herbs and unique flavors. Sadly they let that go and went with the typical mayo and sugar based slaw that every place has. I've been noticing a slight drop in quality in meats, though still pretty good. Once again typical restaurant skimping, especially now that they're popular. My hope is that they can fully return to what they started with so I'll start coming back more regularly. Otherwise I'll resort to nothing but burgers here.

I originally discovered this place with a friend when we were having breakfast @ Panera. The smell made us hungry all over again. I promised him on my next trip to Indianapolis, we would have dinner here. A month later, I took my friend for an early birthday dinner at Weber Grill. The ability to make online reservations was a breeze, complete with directions to my smartphone. The ambiance was wonderful. At the entry there was an eloquent display of the history of grilling as well as historical grilling pictures throughout the restaurant. Our waiter for the evening was John C. He was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant as well as very well versed in the specials. He rattled them off without a hitch. He was very attentive through our meal and was a pleasure to meet. We ordered the specialty drink of the day a pitcher of Sangria made with Lemoncello and Pineapple & Lemon chunks soaked in RUM ... yum. The warm pretzel rolls were delicious. I ordered from the specials menu, and my date ordered from the menu. Both entrees superseded our expectations. He was amazed at the Meatloaf and I could not stay out of the drink! The special I ordered was amazing as I had expected. The bill was moderately priced and I will visit the Chicago locations that John C. introduced to me.

I had a reservation for 5 people at 6 pm. We arrived at 5:58, were seated promptly, and received bread and drinks in a reasonable amount of time. Our meal orders were not taken for quite some time, however, and we didn't get our food until 7 pm. The hot food wasn't hot. My smoked salmon entree salad was very good at least. I'd been looking forward to a dessert cocktail, and my daughter, who'd waited patiently for her food (and ordered off the adult menu) was looking forward to some dessert. However, around 7:30 we were given our check. We weren't even asked if we wanted dessert. There were people waiting so maybe they wanted to get us out to seat others, but if that's the case the service should've been quicker. There are so many very good restaurants downtown Indy, especially around Circle Centre, Weber Grill did not provide the value and experience I'd hoped for.

It was our first time eating here plus it was a birthday dinner as well. We called ahead for reservations since there was a Colts game going on the same day. Even with reservations, we still had to wait about 15mins (which could be a good sign that everyone goes here for a good meal). During the wait, we had Pretzel Rolls. The rolls were a bit different than what we're accustomed to with rolls. The flavor was light and sweet on the inside while pretzel-taste lingers on the outside. It came with two types of butter to spread on the side. We started off with mixed greens salad with fire-grilled corn vinaigrette dressing. The serving was quite small for the price but the flavoring was definitely delightful. The tangy vinaigrette was not overpowering like some other vinaigrette dressings. Main entree #1 was a fillet Mignon, cooked medium. The fillet was evenly cooked to a nice pink shade inside from edge to edge. The meat was quite tender and juicy with plentiful flavoring of meat and fire-grill taste. All was easily devoured as nothing needed to be wasted or cut away. The side was mashed potatoes which well doen with bits of the skin mixed in. Main entree #2 was a BBQ trio combo, consisting of BBQ Chicken- Black Angus Meatloaf-BBQ Pork Ribs. All three items were flavorful char-boiled top and bottom. The meatloaf was well seasoned and loaded with its own juices. The BBQ chicken was very moist and filled with its own flavors. Every tender piece bitten was moist and delightful . The BBQ pork ribs was slightly on the dry side. The flavoring was very much there, but lacking the juiciness that should accompany BBQ pork ribs. Watch out for the bits of bones within, but that comes with the territory of eating ribs. The side was a touch of cole slaw, which was a bit drier and not very flavorful to my own taste. For dessert, it was Key Lime Cheesecake and Double Chocolate Bundt cake. The cheesecake was more creamy and softer than what I am accustomed to for cheesecakes. But the lime flavors was strong with accented coconut shavings on the crust. The Double Chocolate Bundt was truly heavenly with every bite! The cake was moist with every bite from start to finish. The chocolate icing was light and creamy without the rich taste but definitely a nice compliment to the cake. The waitress (whom I will have to get the name later from the receipt) was outstanding. She waited on us with a genuine smile from start to finish as well. Well informed and quite knowledgeable with her menu items. She was very helpful in helping us choose or info on the menu items. I would highly recommend this as a stop anytime visiting downtown INDY.

Salmon was good as were the green beans. The mashed potatoes were a gooey mess of too much butter and salt (made me ill). Service was slow: no bread until I asked several times. Good salmon offset the negatives.

I like weber grill. Very good food, not quite as pricy as Morton's, Fogo, Elmo, etc. not cheap, but 2 can eat for $75. It's definitely in my regular rotation. The ambience isn't as nice, you can see for kitchen and it's a little loud....but I like the steaks a lot.

So I was staying in Indianapolis for and behold weber grill was down the street. I think I saw this on the food network or something so I decided to try it out. First thing I had was the pretzel rolls which were damn good. Next I had the onion curls that were good. Now for the main course, it was between a Wisconsin burger, beer can chicken, or prime rib. The bartender convinced me that prime rib was the way to go. Prime rib was good. Had it medium rare and it was all bloody. Haha. Only gripe was that the rub they had was really salty. Not even the horseradish could stem that saltiness. Overall good. I'd come back to try the other stuf including the rib eye.

The wait was a bit long- more than an hour long. The ambience was lively which was good and bad. Our server even admitted the acoustics were bad because we could not hear each other when ordering. I had the entree salad which was the romaine wedge salad with grilled steak skewers. Though it was a good meal, it wasn't impressive. The hour long wait was not worthwhile. I did, however, like their pretzel bread.

Been here several times, but most recently was there during Devour Downtown. It was an OK deal, but it probably was only a savings of $4-5 over the regular menu pricing. Anyway, I love it there! They have wonderful Bloody Mary's, and I've not had anything bad on the menu. My personal favorites are the BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza, the Brisket, and the BBQ Meatloaf. The cheesy butter they bring with the pretzel rolls is also really good. Service is pretty good, too...the bartenders are friendly and easy to chat with at the bar. Will definitely return next time I'm in town.

It pains me a bit to give them two stars because this is my first sub par experience there, but between a-ok and I've had better i have to lean towards the latter. The last time I was there i had the choose three and it was phenomenal (pulled pork, meatloaf, BBQ chicken) this time i had the ribs and they were average at best. they came out lukewarm and while they were incredibly tender, the flavor was not great. there were splinters of bone in the ribs and lots of gristle and small bone pieces. sauce was a little sweet for my liking and really had no kick. i still recommend weber grill, but stay away from the ribs. (this coming from a guy whose been cooking ribs for years) waiter was a real schmuck.

Eaten here multiple times and each time it has been good (not great). I've tried the ribs several times again, good, not great. I probably won't order them again. I want more then just good. I've never been here when it hasn't been packed and know to many people who think highly so people keep coming back...I guess so do I.

I wont lie, I had the best steak of my life here. I ordered the garlic herb crusted prime rib with garlic mash potatoes. While spending that much on a steak might seem nuts I have to say that every steak I've had since has just left me sad by comparison. The baked onion soup and sweet potato pecan pie are not to be missed either! I can't wait to get back to Indy to get to this place again. Service was top-notch and the food was fantastic.

Overall my family (party of 5) was very disappointed with our experience at Weber Grill. Our waiter seemed very disconnected from our party and rushed us throughout our meal. I am not sure if he was busy, but he never took a valued interest in our table. Instead of coming to the table, squaring his shoulders up, looking at us in the eye, and taking time to ask if we wanted a refill or if we needed anything, he very casually "checked" on us as he rushed by. He would rush by, turn his head, say something to our table, and by the time we could comment, he was gone. At one point he literally took the credit card/bill right out in front of me when I was looking over the bill. The food runners were great though. Our appetizers and desserts were brought out by people that had a personality. We wished we had them for a waiter instead of ours. He seemed like a damn no it all with an ego. He should have been working at Denny's, not at a restaurant in which customers can spend some cash in a hurry. Our bill was $220 before tip. Not only was our waiter sub par, but the majority of our entrees were sub quality too. The New York Strips (3 of us had them) were tough and chewy. The fat was unchewable; all 3 plates had a lot of trimmings that were unedible. I've bought strips at Kroger for $6.99 a pound that were trimmed better. Also, all 3 steaks were totally different sizes/thicknesses too even though they were the same entree. We all ordered them medium, but one was medium rare. My dad, grandmother and I all were very dissatisfied with the steaks especially since they were $28 each. My wife had a turkey burger with homeade chips that she really liked. She thought it was a little salty, but I liked it and thought it was spot on. Sometimes turkey and chicken can easily get overcooked, but this was cooked well. My mother had a filet and she liked it, but I thought it was blah and needed some salt/pepper. The appetizer sampler was very good: ribs, beer can chicken w/chipotle mayo, teriyaki beef skewers, and some spicy bbq shrimp skewers. Everybody was happy with that. My dad had the muscles for an app. We thought they were dry and blah. I could make them at home as they were nothing special. The pretzel rolls were good, but they took them from our table shortly before our meal and never brought more until we asked. Our family ventures out a half a dozen times a year to the best steakhouses and restaurants in Indy. We never tried the Weber Grill and figured we'd give it a try. We will NOT go back. All 5 of us were disappointed. My dad thought Texas Roadhouse had a better quality/cut of steak. I would agree. This place might be better known for burgers and ribs, but still should be able to serve a quality steak if it's priced @ $28 for a 14oz Strip. Each plate had 2-3oz of unedible gristle (I prefer extra fat in my steak too which says a lot that I couldn't eat this). Do NOT go here if you want a steak because you will be UNHAPPY. Just go down the street to Ruth Chris and spend $10-$15 more for a bigger and much better steak.

The food was low quality and nothing was freshly prepared. The ribs were tough, the chicken was average and the crab cake was not fully cooked. And the cocktails had a short pour. Seems like the restaurant is trying to cut costs to save money. At this rate, they will be out of business this time next year. Very disappointing!

My mother came in town last night to visit, and we decided to go to Weber Grill. To start I ordered a Martini; however, after waiting for about 15 minutes, our waitress informed me that they were out of Martini glasses. 10 minutes later she returned and said that she was just going to put it in a wine glass. I didn't care which glass it came in, but by the time they decided what to do I didn't even want to drink anymore. I ordered the the Margherita pizza, which was okay nothing special, and my mom ordered the filet well. It came back pink in the middle so to say the least she was unhappy. Overall, the waitress was extremely friendly but it just seemed like the restaurant wasn't on its game last night.

My steak was cooked Med and I asked Med-rare, however everyone's was cooked med and all ordered everything but. Maybe they do that to be safe? The food was good other than that no complaints. Flavor was good, mashed potatoes had good consistency, Martini was perfect(olives filled w/ blue cheese & very dirty). I'll be back.

The atmosphere is upscale and trendy - but they lunch prices are now. They have an assortment of "Fast and Fresh" lunch options for just $10. This place is definitely a steal!

Our server had attitude the minute we were seated at our table. He was visibly upset that I didn't order a drink... just water. Never mind the fact that I had been drinking the rest of the day and didn't really care for anything. We ordered and didn't add a salad or anything. Again, he smirked at us like we were cheap country bumpkins that didn't belong in such a fancy restaurant (never mind the fact that we were dressed to go to the theatre). I ordered my steak medium rare, and it came out cold inside and out. It wasn't even warm enough to melt the butter that they finished it with. Tried to flag down the waiter after that, but he was nowhere to be found after 10 minutes. By then, everything else was cold and I was hungry, so I ate anyway. By then, he finally showed up after I had consumed the steak. Then, all of a sudden, he and the manager were suddenly concerned about our experience and to show their apology, offered us dessert... a dried-up chocolate bundt cake that was only salvageable because it was served with ice cream. My wife had a better experience with her planked salmon, but for the price and even during a rush on a Saturday night, the service could have been way better. I've been to Fogo de Chao and they are almost too intrusive, but at least there are enough people around to take care of you when there is an issue. I guess I was expecting a similar experience from Weber for the price I paid, but I didn't get it.

In my house this is the favorite special occasion dining spot. I love a good steak, and man-oh-man can they deliver. First, pretzel rolls and cheese butter are brought to your table to start. Need I say more. If you love french onion soup (& even if you don't) you must get theirs. They use their pretzel rolls as the crouton, and there is usually so much crusty cheese one top that the soup spills over as you dig in. We like to share a house salad cause the homemade bleu cheese dressing is killer. I cannot get enough of their prime rib. The seasonings are so flavorful, and then you get the creamy horseradish sauce and jus in the mix. I make so many yummy noises, it actually might disturb others. Must try!! I definitely cannot get enough. As a fun note, the servers are generally pretty knowledgeable when it comes to wine recommendations too. :)

What a great concept. I know there are other Weber Grill Restaurants located in the Chicago area. The food is excellent, the decor is great, and the service is outstanding. I cannot recommend this place enough. Two of us went here for dinner (make reservations if you can or be prepared for a long wait). We started with two glasses of sangria (very delicious) and a pepperoni pizza (yes, cooked on the grill). They also bring these uber-tasty pretzel rolls with regular & cheddar butter. Very addictive. For dinner I had the beer-can chicken with garlic smashed potatoes and my dining partner had the citrus chicken with asparagus. We also ordered a side of whipped sweet potatoes with bourbon-maple butter. Decadent. Unfortunately we didn't have any room for desert, even though they looked delish.

Best. Food. EVER!!! Was in Indy visiting my brother over Labor Day and we went here twice the weekend I was there. For dinner the first night, I had the filet and mashed potatoes - YUM! Lunch the following day, I had the meatloaf & BBQ chicken. ALL amazing! SOOO good! This place rocks!! I miss it now and have been craving pretzel rolls ever since I left :(

Love, love LOVE the brisket. Wish I could try something else here, but I love the brisket. Also love the onion straws. Went to Bucca di Beppo across the street first and after being advised they were going to be a 45 minute wait for seating and about the same to get the food, was thrilled to go to Weber and be seated immediately and served rapidly. Oh! The pretzel rolls are to die for.

I was in town for a business meeting and made a return visit to this restaurant. I opted for the hickory smoked prime rib (with garlic mashed potatoes). Excellent, excellent choice. Great serving staff, delicious food. The prime rib was extremely flavorful without the hickory smoking overwhelming the taste of the beef. If I'm in town again, I will definately return here. Many other entres also sounded delicious.

I've eaten at weber grill about 10 times since opening. The food and location is very good. The interior is also very nice and modern/newly renovated (formerly was the site of an Old Navy store if you can imagine that). My favorite things are happy hour in the bar (great happy hour bar specials) and the pretzel roles. My only reservations in giving Weber a very high rating is that they sort of seem to be a steak house and BBQ joint, yet this place isn't my favorite BBQ OR steak house. Again - everything is very good but nothing has ever jumped out as outstanding. I give it three stars intended as a solid B-B+, I will continue to go there from time to time. If a group of people are torn on BBQ vs Burgers vs Steak this is a great option. It also scales well as an option for higher end/business clientele if you want more than just a steak house. Next time I will try the whiskey flights.

Sat at the bar where Mike took real god care of me while out on business trip. The hamburger was cooked to my asking, and the service was great. If you find yourself downtown or you are craving pretzel rolls, I'd recommend Weber Grill.

I like weber grille restaurants. I LOVE their skirt steak. It is cooked to perfection and is so delicious I get it just about every time I go to a weber grille. We ate at the bar and the service was ok (our waiter/bartender switched in mid meal and the service declined a bit. They had run out of a special and tried substituting something but it didn't make it to our table until we had just about finished. Service was slow but it was a busy night. I really like the food here so I will return but likely will sit at a table.

I was back in Indy and I ended up having dinner here two nights in a row. Why? Because its still very good and convenient to my hotel. The warm pretzel rolls with butter and cheese spread is fantastic. And the cheeseburgers are still great. The draft selection is nice with this Osiris IPA that is my favorite. I'd still go here anytime I can.

Great beer list, and I had really wanted to eat here, I had never been to a Weber Restaurant. Had the BBQ combo, chicken and brisket, I got the pick two. The chicken was covered with sauce, but the leg and thigh, connected to one another were OK. The chicken was OK, not too bad. The brisket was dry as drywall. My co-worker took a bite and agreed. I ate one of the four strips of brisket. The beans were OK, a bit sweet but not too bad. The slaw wasn't so bad either. The server recommended the meatloaf as a substitute to the brisket. That sounded like a good idea. It came out 20 minutes later and was so-so. Dry, odd consistency, lots of sauce. Our server comped the beers, which was very nice, and not at all necessary. I just didn't care for the food, it wasn't his fault. I made sure to tip him on the full bill before the comp.

While I was in Indianapolis on a business trip, a bunch of us went to the Weber grill for dinner. While the wait was over an hour, we were able to sit in the bar area and have a few drinks. Once we were seated, the magic began. Our server was attentive, honest about the menu (which I LOVE!) and FUNNY!! For an appetizer, we shared the Weber Sampler - beer can chicken = AMAZING. The BBQ shrimp was just okay - I definitely wasn't overly impressed with that..but it wasn't terrible either. For my main course, I had to have the NY strip - medium. OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. I've lived in Boston almost all my life, and I've never had a steak that tasted anywhere near as good as this (except the other steakhouse I went to in Indy - hehe) It was cooked PERFECT!!!!!!! I wanted to barge into the kitchen and personally thank their cooks!!! It was also served with garlic mashed potatoes which were fluffy and left me with the worst garlic breath EVER, but I'm not even mad! Worth the wait..don't even think about ordering anything but a steak. That would just be silly.

If ever there was a good idea to promote your bbq grills and line of grilling products, this is the way to do it! You can smell the food and smoke like a block away from this place and it smells sooooooo good. I had the ribs and meatloaf combination dinner, both were excellent. The coleslaw was vinagrette based which was new for me, but still delicious. The baked beans were also fantastic and unique. I would eat here again in a heartbeat if I lived in a city that had this restaurant. The lighting is very dark, darker than even Outback Steakhouse. I guess it is good mood lighting for taking a date but not a plus when you are on a work trip with business associates. The drinks did seem very weak, I had a sangria and a mai thai, and barely tasted alcohol in either of them. I don't really care about drinks that much so I didn't feel that it took away from the food served at the restaurant. So as an avid Weber grill owner (three of them) I suggest that you try this place out, it's awesome! Definitely a gourmet touch to grilling!

I travel to Indy once a year for business and I had heard good things about this place so I decided to give it a shot this year. The menu was extensive and had lots of options that sounded good and piqued my interest. I ordered the onion curls for an appetizer, but since I was at a restaurant named after BBQ grills, I felt obligated to try the BBQ for my entree. I got the 3-item combo plate and ordered the BBQ meatloaf, beef brisket, and the grilled smoked sausage. I'll admit that I had high expectations and was pretty disappointed with the food. The onion curls were nothing special. The meatloaf was a bit bland, the brisket was dry, and the sausage just was not very tasty at all. Everything other than the food was great at this restaurant including the ambiance, the service, and the location. Unfortunately, being a foodie, the food is the most important thing. Maybe they had an off day and if they are better if /when I end up trying it again, I'll adjust my rating but it only gets 2 stars for the disappointing meal.

BYRON was the best server i've ever had!!! next time i go, i'm going to just order the side dishs, not that the steak & ribs weren't Fab, but the baked beans with meat in them, the baked sweet potato /brown sugar side was to DIE FOR we'll be going back

Eaten here a few times while in town on business, the last time I Showed up five mins before 10pm on a wednesday night after a long day of work and got good food and excellent service. Both are good but I would recommend the filet over the tuna.

I'm visiting from Houston and so far weber grill has been my favorite spot to eat. My co-workers went a second night without me (lame!). My friend and I ordered the seafood étouffée. We both decided there could have been more seafood in the dish, but it was still deeeeeelicous! Another friend ordered their famous catfish dish. I tasted it (and the amazing whipped sweet potatoes!) - yummmm! The service was a tad slow, but everyone was real nice about letting my friends stay after closing (on their second trip) :)

Recently visited this restaurant for the first time with my husband, parents, and soon to be 1 yr old son on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. There was not a wait to be seated. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich which was quite yummy, especially with the slaw on it. The pretzel buns served before the meal were warm and yummy as well. The only downside of coming here for lunch on the weekend is that they only have the dinner menu all day, which could make for an expensive lunch. I'm sure this is geared towards the tourists who may be staying downtown. The upside is that they had a few sandwiches available that were more reasonably priced.

The last time I was here, at least 6 years ago, I remember sending back the fish I had ordered for being way too salty. But when I went here last week I got the Wild Mushroom pizza, and it was AMAZING. It made up for the so-so service - the waitress was nice but mixed up our check. So maybe this place is hit or miss.

Food was pretty tasty. I thought the prices were a bit high for what we received. We also seemed to be a little neglected because we were a "lower-ticket" table (two burgers, a drink, and an appetizer, as opposed to steaks). I highly recommend the steak skewer appetizer!

I was craving some steak, but was not wanting to spend the money or dress up for St. Elmo's or the Ruth's... I ordered one of their "favorite" flank steak, and was cooked exactly how i wanted. (medium rare) I sub the mashed with spinach, and was great. I would've gave 5 if the food didn't take too long and the fact that the waiter didn't let me know that there is extra charge for substitutions. I gave one extra star (3 was my original rating) because the left over steak (about 3 hours after) was soooooo good. And i didn't even heat them up... I don't think i would go back... not because the food was bad, but because there are so many other options in town.

I really like the Weber Grill. The skirt steak has a great flavor and was cooked just how I wanted it. The service is just right, not over the top and not lacking. The prices on some of the steaks I feel are a bit high but no need to order those if you don't want to, there are plenty other affordable and tasty items. The bbq is always good and of course the pretzel roll at the table are a nice treat. Well done Weber grill. A bit of backyard grilling when you are miles from home.

I ate here as an homage to the bf who happens to love weber grills. It's true. I was in Indy on business so ate by myself at the bar. (It was a lonely sight, but hey I dealt with it). I ordered their house beer-I forget the name of it but it was a slightly sweet wheat beer. It accompanied my pulled pork and brisket well. The pulled pork was very tasty, but the brisket was on the dry side. I hate to say it, but I've had better q back at home in Anaheim!! woopty woop!! I also wasn't offered any of those pretzel rolls that everyone was raving about. sigh. oh well.

I struggled with my star rating on the Weber Grill... my gut tells me that they were maybe having a bad night since we were a late seating and 10,000 runners had decended on the city that day for the monumental marathon. The other people's food in my party seemed over cooked / under prepared on all of our dishes so that made me sad with the amount of money they were asking for... their reservation system was screwy for us, we reserved online for a 6:45, got a confirmation email for 4:45 and the girl called me to confirm a 2:45 reservation... so by the end of it all it worked out to a 8:45 reservation. So those things being said the restaurant got 2.5 stars from me. But our server was super awesome, applogetic and extremely friendly and joked with us a ton! so he got a 5 star rating from me. he made the night enjoyable and worthwhile and made it so I left happy and not annoyed with what happened with our meals. There were a few things we tried to order that they were out of but they were able to accomodate. We ordered a bbq pizza and onion straws for an appetizer that were both ok. The pizza crust seemed a bit overcooked but overall I enjoyed it. The onion straws were typical fare, nothing spectacular. We did get those awesome pretzel rolls which I couldnt get enough of especially with the cheese butter they had (until they ran out of cheese butter). We did seem to wait a very long time for our food to be delivered. but we had good drinks, good company and a good server so the time passed well. I ordered a bbq plate with brisquette and with meatloaf and asparagus. The brisquette was way over cooked in my opinion and the cut of meat did not seem to be very good. I was disappointed by that because I do love my brisquette. The meatloaf on the other hand was moist and delicious and made my meal much more enjoyable. The asparagus was cooked to perfection and the right crispness that I love. I also got to taste some corn bread which was decent but seemed pretty dry and overcooked. I think the potential of this restaurant is there and our waiter appologized many times for the frantic nature of everything that day but overall i felt they should be aware of what is going on in their city and planned accordingly. Recap: server awesome, food could have been better...

This place is great. We were in town for a marathon and hit up the night life afterwards. Went here for dinner, while it was super busy, it was for sure worth the wait. The food was amazing, everything cooked on a Weber Grill! I had a NY Strip which was amazing and my buddy had the Beer Can Chicken. If you are in town, make sure you check this place out.

Meh is the perfect word to describe my experiences at Weber Grill. Let me start by saying that I'm not much of a red-meat meat-eater, however, the chicken and pork selections were lacking in both lunch and dinner menus. Would it be too hard to ask for a regular pulled chicken or pork sandwich? Or chicken breast sandwich? Not everyone wants a half or whole beercan chicken.

While attending a musical downtown, my wife and I tried to eat at Weber Grill. We got our appetizers but the kitchen lost our main course. Throw in the manager who walked around the dining area multiple times without noticing our displeasure and it made for a rotten evening. Food smelled good.

I have been wanting to try Weber Grill for a long time, and finally did over the weekend. I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Ive been to weber grill several times, twice to the indianapolis location and this restaurant is consistently better than any of the other locations ive been to. The servers here seem to care a lot more about what theyre doing and are very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine lists. I can never resist getting the HUGE 16oz prime rib whenever I go and im rarely disappointed. They cook everything to perfection and its absolutely delicious. The pretzel rolls they give you at the beginning of the meal are addicting so watch out or youl fill up on those before you get a chance to taste the awesome cuts of meat they serve up. If you like grilled meat and you dont wanna pay ruth's chris or morton's prices, you really cant go wrong with Weber Grill

I saw one of these in Chicago once and wanted to try it. There was even a blurb about it on TV (maybe Food Network?) since they grill over charcoal. I love a good char grilled steak. When one popped up in Indy, I was initially happy to know I could make the quicker trip instead of going back to Chicago. I ordered a steak, my friend a burger, and his wife beer can chicken. If I'm going to a steak house, there better be some sort of beef on my plate. Well, the steak was ok (a NY strip) but nothing spectacular and definitely not better than any of the major steak chains. Here is the kicker though. My friend ate a few bites of his burger and stopped eating saying it wasn't very good. I though maybe he was being picky so I cut part off part of the burger and tried it. It was AWFUL. The patty was so dry it could have been beef jerky even though the burger was smothered with whatever sauce he ordered. This was an epic fail on their part. A steak place must also do a great burger. A drive thru burger would have been better than what they were serving. Maybe it was just a bad day for the burgers? I don't know. Considering the mediocre nature of my steak, I doubt I'll ever go back. Here is the funny thing. His wife's beer can chicken was actually the better of our three meals. Go figure! The cost vs. quality just wasn't worth it.

Loud. Imagine kettle tops being raised and lowered. Wide variety on the menu. The boc choi is unique and tasty. The pizza is really good. I have no steak experience. Grilled seafood is good. I work down wind from the place and I have to say the aroma drifting down the street is compelling.

Great meal. Place was packed but service was still great. Even the prime rib had a great smokey flavor. No complaints. Busy so make sure you have a reservation

Great food and an outstanding environment. They have grills as part of their decor.. along with lots of deep cherry wood. The wait staff is very attentive... our waiter was not assigned our table but picked us up rather than us having to wait for who was assigned our table. I had the Wisconsin Burger.. it was enormous and delicious. The deserts are top notch as well.

I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but I've been here several times and had a great experience. I enjoyed the Wisconsin Burger and the filet. Price points are pretty spot on for the quality of food. A great place to go before a show or a night out.

This is by far one of the best places to take people from out of town to eat. The wait staff is great the food is very good a little pricey but not to bad. I have been told there are only two Weber Grill restaurants out there and this one is the best. When ever we have family come up to visit this is where we take them.

This is one of the worst places I have ever eaten! It started with terrible margaritas that tasted like they just put triple sec in a glass and brought it out to us. The rice on both our dishes was ICE COLD, like out of the refrigerator. All other food on the plate was luke warm, at best. We both had the filet Mignon k-bobs. I ordered medium and they came out almost completely raw and did not taste like steak...not sure what kind of meat they used...something we both have never tasted before...the flavor was unidentifiable. The stuffed tomato just had a little "stuff" sitting on top of a whole tomato. After being very disappointed, we decided to try desert...they can't mess that up, right? WRONG! We ordered the hot chocolate cheesecake. The marshmallows appeared old and as if they were rolled around on a dirty floor. The chocolate cheesecake tasted very odd and was barely edible. We will NEVER eat at this place again. Over $100 for almost inedible food. All other restaurants we tried during our stay were excellent, especially Saint Elmos, the sports bar grill at the JW Marriott and PF Changs. Just steer clear of this place and you will be fine!

This place is vile! How could anyone possibly like this restaurant? You most definately pay for the atmosphere, which isn't saying very much. The restaurant is very beautiful. Very well laid out, and clean. But the food and service are definately lacking!I got just a regular classic cheeseburger with just Mayo, Onion, Lettuce, Pickles and tomatoes and they managed to mess it all up. First of all I got the burger Medium, and it was obviously well done. I would have sent it back, but my waiter already had taken almost 40 minutes for my food and I was starving! Secondly, the french fries were terrible! OMG, The worst fries ever! The side salad that I got was not good either. It was just an overall terrible experience. I am not going back here. I refuse to go back here. Mcdonalds will get my money before Weber grill does!

Was there in the middle of the week, which I guess was good, we had no wait and food came right out. Overall great food, cant go wrong when your started off with pretzel rolls and cheese butter, meatloaf also a game winner. The service needs some working on, not bad but wasn't the friendliest either. We will be back and I recommend you do the same.

Was by myself in Indy on business when I took a wrong turn looking for PF Chang, asked the valet for directions and ended up staying for dinner. Didn't really feel like waiting the 15 to 20 minutes for a table so I sat at the bar for dinner. Let me say, I was going to give this restaurant a 4 but they get the extra star for the service. Andrea the bar tender was quite accommodating and took great care of me. The food was awesome (I had a half slab of the midwest ribs which came with some of the best baked beans I've ever had) and was served to me in about 5 minutes. At this point, the resaurant had a solid 4 in my book. After dinner, this manager guy comes by and offers to show me the kitchen and the Weber Grills they use. He explains the some of the grilling techniques (I leaned a few things) and has one of the chefs open a couple of grills and show me what he was talking about. When I get back to my seat at the bar, the bar manager was there. I was a bit indecisive about the beer I wanted next so she recommends a beer (Duval). She tells me that if I don't like it, she will buy it for me. Turns out I like it. I saw her give the couple sitting next to me the same quality treatment. I left the restaurant wishing that we had a Weber Grill Restaurant in Milwaukee because I had a wonderful time and great meal. (Did I mention I was by myself?) Oh, one more thing, the price. When I was all done, my bill was in the $30s!

The very best food I've experienced for American fair!! The best service and in my opinion the best of everything!! I eat out everyday in a new city and stay in a different hotel everyday, this place is the best! Same with the location in Chicago! I just wish they had one in Southern California or Scottsdale, AZ area. The only thing I can see you disappointed about is the fact that there is so much food you will be miserable when you leave that you will probably have to find a restroom! HAHAH!!

I will preface this review with the fact that I took my parents here on what turned out to be prom night in Indianapolis. Not the best planning on my part!! But regardless of that, I was really underwhelmed by this place. I heard good things but overall I thought it was just meh at best. The pretzel bread and cheesy-buttery stuff was yummy, my chicken was decent, my Dad's tilapia was pretty bland and my Mom said her meatloaf was dry. She did give 2 thumbs up to the baked beans though... We made reservations but still had to wait a good 20-25 minutes for our table . The restaurant was packed with uncomfortable looking teen boys in tuxes and fake-baked teen girls wearing inappropriate dresses, so at least we had some amusing people watching before we sat down. Service was ok considering the crowds, but it was so ridiculously loud in the restaurant, our server basically had to shout to talk to us. There are definitely other restaurants I will try before I go back to Weber.

My co-workers and I were in town for business and decided to try the Weber Grill out. Who can't resist a restaurant with a red Weber Grill mounted on the building?! We didn't make reservations but were able to get a table. I would recommend making reservations to be safe. We loved the display of different Weber grills in the entrance and the open kitchen. It's darkly lit and nicely decorated - their wooden chairs bear a Weber grill cut-out. A few of us ordered orange cream soda. The bottle of soda was chilled and the waiter poured it into a glass without ice. Next time, I'm going to ask for ice; I like cold soda. We ordered two combos (BBQ pork ribs/Brisket, BBQ pork ribs/pulled pork), a full slab of ribs, and a NY steak prepared medium rare. They came with a side of vineagrette coleslaw with a little kick, baked beans and moist, sweet cornbread. The ribs were succulent, full of flavor, and almost fell off the bone. They had a nice rich smokey flavor, and it's not coming from the BBQ sauce! The brisket was ok, next time I'd get the pulled pork all for myself - it was sooo delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and a nice size. The portions were so good that we didn't even have room for dessert! The waiter told us that at some point all food hits the Weber grills during cooking. This restaurant didn't disappoint in their food and service! I would go back again when in downtown Indy.

This is the BEST place in Indy for burgers, steaks, chicken and BBQ. They have a fantastic veggie burger as well. There is no better eating than your food cooked on a Weber grill. My favorite restaurant !!!!

I am a little conflicted on this review. The Weber Grill is a great place, excellent choices of meat grilled to perfection, great bar and cool atmosphere. Awesome location, and easy to find. The only thing that keeps this from being a five star review is based on their service when we were there last during Valentine's Day. They had a special on Red Velvet cake for dessert (my wife's favorite), but only if you ordered the dinner specials that night. All their specials were shellfish, and my wife is allergic. We explained this to the waitress, but she refused my wife the dessert because she couldn't order from the special menu. Not very polite, and no reason NOT to allow us to pay for another meal AND the dessert. So, my wife and I got up from the table and left. While I enjoyed my meals there, I haven't been back since. Weber Grill has fantastic food, but the service leaves something to be desired. Located across the street from Circle Center Mall in downtown Indy. Maybe my next visit will yield five stars. But for now, it has to be three.

Great food. Had the pork chop which was juicy and delicious. Others in the party had the skirt steak and salmon and all raved about it. Also had the apple crisp for dessert which was also quite good. Great wine selection as well.

It is one of the fun destination for dining out with your family in downtown Indy. Try their SAMPLER for appetizer, it will come with variety of food that your family will like - bbq ribs, shrimp, steak, chicken, onion rings and more... The portion size is very big. It is a little pricy... I love their BBQ pork - it's probably the most tender and best spiced one that I had. The kid's meal is also big and well prepared - for only $5.95 the meal comes with drink, vegetables, fruit, french fries and ice cream sundae with delicious chocolate chip cookie...YUM! Note: the price has gone up by about $1-$2 per meal in 2010. However, it will cost you $2 more if your kids order root beer, and no refill... Updates: I am giving this place 3.5 stars for the reason that this place is always busy and it is almost impossible to eat there without a reservation, especially in the weekend. TOO POPULAR! #$*()_@! The last time my family went there, we had to wait for at least 1 hour to get seated for 2 adults and 3 small children. While waiting for our table, we saw many guests (group of 3 adults to 4 adults) seated without having to wait. We ended up leaving after almost 45 minutes waiting, and the person at the front desk told us that we have to wait for another 30 minutes... Summary: Try their steak, it is their specialty. Don't try any of their pizza, they have the worst pizza (and strange invention too) that I have ever had. Overall, it is quite pricey and we like this place alright... but we will NOT go back, unless somebody else pays for our meal...:-))

This place has THE BEST STEAKS I've ever had, period. The ribeye was juicy and delicious, I especially love the fact that they can cook the steaks Pittsburgh style, which is extra rare. YUM!!!! We sat at the bar and had a great male bartender, but I can't remember his name. He was great though. Very friendly and attentive. They also made me a gin mojito, and even though I don't like gin, it was really yummy. If only I had one now. Yum.

Ok...so we go to Weber's. Nice decor...nice place. Sat at the bar waiting for a table and had a nice Bell's Seasonal draft beer. Then we are seated and that is when the fun started. This has GOT to be the LOUDEST restaurant i have ever been to. The kitchen is open to the seating area. The SCREECHING and BANGING of the ktchen was so loud you had to stop the conversation everytime it occured....about every 20 seconds. This went on and on and on until I had to leave....take our food to-go and get the hell out of there. The noise level of the kitchen was beyond description. The food was pretty good so I can't say bad things about the food or service but the NOISE is to the point where I must tell you to do NOT go in the dining area....stay in the bar or simply do not go. The bartender commented on the way out that they get several complaints about this..... I can see why. Do not go. Sorry to grind this axe but I am trying to protect my fellow Indy diners....stay clear.

Went for lunch. Place is nice inside, and the huge grill outside on the facade is cool! The had beer chicken chili as the soup of the day... extremely salty, but also damn good chili! I had the beef brisket sandwich. Deliciously tender, with fried onions, a pickle, and a good sauce. Fries were good. The menu selection was nice (it was hard to pick what I wanted) and prices were alright. Dinner is apparently a lot more expensive.

Great place to eat. Went there on a lunch break about a week after opening. The food was great, and very decently priced, I was impressed. The wait stuff (once we got a waiter) was great and very attentive. Lots of food though so only go if you are hungry or like taking food home for lunch the next day! Also, it's very centrally located down town Indy. As busy as the resteraunt was, service was still fast and lunch came out pretty quickly considering the packedness of the place.

the food is good, but the service is amazing. we went there for lunch, we got seated right away, but then we waited for a long time and nobody show up, and then i ask the worker there where is our wait staff, nobody has show up yet, and then 2nd sec later, our waitress show up, and apology and said she didn't know that was her table, and then the manager come and apology and give us free appetizer, and our waitress is very attentive, and keep on coming back to check on us..

Inspired by their love for grilling and their spice line, this restaurant is really nice and fancy on the inside. Of course they don't have much to offer for us vegetarians but the server was really helpful in suggesting options and made sure I got what I wanted. Luckily for him, I was in the mood for pizza so I didn't have much thinking to do. We started off by splitting a Spinach Artichoke Dip, then my colleague ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and I ordered the classic Margherita. Food was on point and totally delicious. The pizza was perfectly baked and just the right amount of crisp needed. Mozzarella was fresh and rustic from the grill and the tomato sauce. Oh, the tomato sauce - fresh, succulent tomatoes and that perfect hint of garlic and herbs. Divine! Great experience for sure!

I came here with a group of co workers during a large meeting. We had a group of 10 and were set immediately at a table preppred with menus, wine lists, specials, and iced water. Its a small detail but its nice to have the waters set up for us! We ordered a sampler appetizer that the waitress recommended and it was ON POINT. You have to try the ribs, the smoked flavor it literally mouth watering.....quite possibly the best ribs I have ever had. Everyone ordered steak, but I got the special- sockeye salmon with cappers and lemon butter sauce. The salmon was full of flavor, and definitely fresh caught. Everyone's steak was perfectly prepared, which is tough to do with a party of 10, and 9 of them ordered steak! Our server was Barbie, and she made great recommendations throughout the night and was very attentive. The atmosphere is classy and comfortable, with nicer decor. I'd recommend coming here if you want some great smoked food, and a nicer environment!

This was my third time checking this place out. It's GenCon, so they're a little busy at the moment. Taking that into account, our waiter was completely disinterested in our table. Even though tables were leaving and the restaurant was emptying our food took forever to arrive with no explanation or apology, and when I finally received my food it was cold and the pasta was undercooked. For a dish that costs $27.25 (after tax) I expect a little more. At that point I was too hungry to attempt to find my waiter and then have the kitchen make it properly, so I went ahead and ate it. I have memories of my previous 2 experiences being less than stellar as well. The only positive thing I've ever experienced at this restaurant are the pretzel rolls with cheese spread and those are free with the meal. Bottom line: It's overpriced, the service is horrible and the food is just ok. Don't waste your time or your money.

Got a 2 BBQ plate ($18.50) with the pulled pork and ribs. For the sides, got mashed potatoes and broccoli. The food was good, but I'd say okay at best. I got a light drink as well. I don't drink much, so I like light drinks. Of course, the server just had to make a ride comment about my manhood or something like that for ordering a light drink, but I let it slide. Other than that, ambience is on the classy side-- I'd say this is more like a Cheesecake Factory with barbecue.

If you enjoy red meat, this is the place to go. I ordered the 16oz Prime Rib (medium rare) and enjoyed every bite. The environment is relaxing and service excellent. I have no idea why you are still reading this review. Hope in your car (or the new Blue Indy electric rental car) and head over to the Weber grill right now. Delicious!

My wife and I ate here for our wedding anniversary. We made a reservation for 5p on a Saturday night, but when we arrived it was obvious we would've been fine without it. When I called they asked if there was a special occasion being celebrated, and when I said it was our anniversary they asked if we needed special accommodations for that. I declined but wanted to point it out if it's helpful to somebody else. I'll start with the service. This is the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars here. Every interaction with our waitress was awkward. She hardly smiled and just didn't have that welcoming demeanor that you'd expect from a server a unique restaurant. As far as her service goes, however, she was very good. We never had to ask for a refill of our water pitcher or for my Diet Coke. Now onto the food. They start you off with a basket of complimentary pretzel rolls. They came out warm and were delicious. They were so soft on the inside. They came with butter and a cheddar onion spread. I didn't use either of those. I wish they had a cinnamon butter like you get with bread at Texas Roadhouse, that would've been awesome with these rolls. We went through two baskets (seven total). For the main course, my wife did the BBQ combo with pulled pork and ribs, with the whipped sweet potatoes and bourbon baked beans on the side. She loved all of it, and was completely stuffed afterwards. I got the 7 oz. filet mignon, medium well, with the mashed potatoes. It was all very good. The steak was perfectly cooked and the portion of mashed potatoes was huge. I signed up for the Grill Club and got a $20 off coupon for my wife's birthday month, so that really helped keep the bill down. Otherwise I might have thought it was somewhat overpriced. They brought out a mini chocolate lava cake with a scoop of ice cream for that, but that was another awkward interaction with our waitress where she asked if we wanted the birthday dessert and we had to ask if it was free. I've never been to a place where they ask if you want a free birthday dessert, they just bring it out. Overall we had a really nice experience. The awkward waitress didn't ruin anything for us, and like I said, she did a fine job of keeping our drinks filled and doing anything else we asked. The only other thing I'd say was missing is I thought the grills were more visible where you could see them grilling, but I guess not.

Came here on a Saturday and we were in a bit of a rush but the server made sure our food came out fast. The only issue was that my boyfriend ordered fries with his burger and the first batch tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. The server was nice about it and brought out a fresh batch which were much better. My ribs were very tender but overly saucy. I would have liked more flavor on the meat and less sauce. The cornbread was good but my Mac & cheese was lacking flavor. Overall, the food here was just okay.

I went to Weber Grill several years ago and haven't really been inspired to return, though some giftcards needed to be spent, so I found myself here again. My overall impression both times is that the food and service have been perfectly alright but ultimately pretty forgettable. Tonight I had the prime kettleburger, which for all the descriptive words on the menu amounted to a large cheeseburger with sauteed onions and three fried pickles. It was a good burger, not great. It probably was not worth its $16 price tag. It came with shoestring fries covered in some tasty Parmesan/herb seasoning, and they were pretty good at first, though they got cold and hard quickly. This meal was also served on a plank of sorts, which made for a cute presentation but made it a little cumbersome to eat. The service has been decent if not a little slow. According to the website, this month was National Burger Month and there were to be some special offerings, though there was no mention of this in the restaurant. This review is kind of a 3-minus, but not quite a 2. The final verdict is that Weber Grill is perfectly fine in terms of food/service, it's a little pricey for what it is, and I probably would not come back if not for some compelling reason.

Ok- so admittedly this place is my standby choice when the weather is intolerable - it is connected to a hotel I stay at frequently. With that said, I prefer many places downtown- however, every time I eat here I am pleasantly surprised. Because it is common and not rare, I suppose I take it for granted. The restaurant itself can be very loud, and the bar especially can be difficult to have a conversation without yelling- it's worth noting though there are some places quite cozy and nice. On this evening I was seated next to the fireplace. It was very comfortable. It's worth noting that the whole place smells of a barbecue - and it's a lovely aroma!! The service has always been good. Sometimes incredible, and sometimes it's a bit lacking. On this evening it was good- not out of the world good but it was cordial and kind- I ordered smoked salmon salad, glazed plank salmon, and the smore- so I committed the first sin of restaurants- I ordered fish and a lot of it at a clear, in your face steakhouse. They even have a huge weber grill at the entrance that looks like a converted vw bug- it's probably bigger. But i digress- My logic was simple. I wanted fish and if they are capable of a good steak then the fish could not be that far off- And logic paid off- first the smoked salmon salad- served with candied pecans and beets and a nice balsamic dressing. It was lovely- the salmon was smoked nicely and was still succulent - the combination with beets and pecans made it a must order the next time I am there. Moving on to the main entree which was a cedar plank grilled salmon with green beans- it was executed nicely. Again, te salmon was cooked to perfection and the green beans were still slightly crunchy and not at all mushy - it's worth noting that they serve pretzel rolls with whipped butter- when they are warm they compliment anything- long story short the salmon was wonderful - I rarely order desert but I was craving vanilla ice cream and the first choice on the menu was a smore. All I can say is wow- it was deconstructed and presented with elements that spanned the temperature spectrum from frozen to sizzling hot. The use of marshmallow cream and and chocolate sauce was great- wonderfully sweet and fully an upscale high end version of a smore that one would have at their back yard barbecue!

Be sure to have a reservation. We had one for Saturday evening and others behind us were told an hour and a half. Musts: complimentary pretzel bread with cheddar butter, whipped sweet potatoes, and bourbon baked beans. Ribs were decent and so was the Weber kabob. Side wedge with smokey bacon is also recommended. If you need a cocktail the Smokey Joe martini hit the spot. Loud atmosphere would not go here for a romantic night out.

I really like the warm colors of this place, especially in winter. Enjoyed the new York strip steak followed by dark chocolate brownie. I would say it was a wonderful dinner however I have had better steaks. The brownie was actually cold, I didn't really like it that way because I was expecting something warm. Anyhow decent experience altogether. More than the entree I really enjoyed the pretzel bread!

We dined at Weber Grill, the first location outside of the metro Chicago area. One thing that makes this restaurant unique is that all cooking is done over authentic giant Weber Charcoal grills. Since there was so much on the menu that we wanted to try, we chose the three meat BBQ Combo with Hickory BBQ Ribs, Beef Brisket, and Black Angus Meatloaf served with a sweet and tangy Hickory BBQ sauce, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Mac N' Cheese. The ribs were BBQ competition quality, tender but not fall-off-the-bone. The brisket was tender and had deep smoke favor, and the meatloaf was smoky with great texture. The sides were equally good; the mashed potatoes full of favor and the mac n' cheese firm and cheesy. Dora here. Only one word: yum! I would rate this restaurant 5 forks out of 5 for a family friendly restaurant serving outstanding food. Ernie & Dora Hiers, Fiction Faith & Foodies Blog

Great BBQ! I love the food at Weber Grill but have had consistently slow service the last few times I have visited. The food never disappoints but it is annoying when the server disappears for long periods of time. This is especially true when you only have an hour for lunch. It might be a better choice for dinner if you aren't in a rush.

I like this place. It is a good grilled steak house. Ambience is good, love that you can look into the kitchen and also get a bit the grill smell (not something that will bother anyone... I think) And you can sit nice and comfy in a little booth for a more private and intimate experience. To be honest it is a gimmick restaurant, based around the Weber grills. Please do no take this as a bad thing. The food is excellent and the service is friendly. Overall like the whole package. But you can probably find something similar other places

I tried this place for the first time late Fall. We had a table outside, the weather was amazing, and the view was decent. We got the BBQ combo; beef briskets, black angus meat loaf and NY Strip steak Overall, this place was amazing. I'm definitely going there again.

This seems to be yet another Indy theme restaurant, appealing to conventioneers and sports fans. Nice place, nothing distinctive - a dressed up TGIFridays. Our experience was decent, although we were out of our league as we didn't ordered beef. Our plates - a turkey burger and black bean burger - were way overcooked. Cheddar was completely melted off. Sides disappointing as well. My grilled beets had no indication of ever touching a grill and were served cool. Service was efficient but uninspired. A very good beer list although the server really didn't know beer other than to try to steer me away from a very fine local IPA. (Kid servers don't like hops. Get it!) Not likely to return, although I can see why this restaurant could be popular with the post/pre game bunch.

I really enjoyed my first visit. The atmosphere can be casual or dressy. Our server, Brittany, was good (not great), and we waited for about 5 minutes after checking in. We went on Saturday night and had reservations. It was very busy, but the noise seemed appropriate and wasn't unbearable. We ordered the appetizer the had steak skewers, chicken skewers, ribs, and shrimp. We don't eat shrimp and they let us substitute with more steak skewers. They were all good, but the chicken was slightly dry. I ordered a burger that was almost too greasy for my taste, and my boyfriend ordered the bbq combo with ribs and chicken. The ribs he got with his meal tasted different from the ones we had in the appetizer. I'm not sure if they were supposed to be different, but they weren't as good. We have already decided we are going back because there are other things on the menu that we want to try as well.

My third visit to this place. I went twice a few years ago, wasn't impressed with the food quality then and wasn't this time around either. The pretzel bread is yummy, but as on all previous occasions the meat was on the dry and overdone side. The presentation, the service and the interior of the restaurant are all fabulous... but what good does that do, when the food is sub par. For the price I would expect better.

Came to Weber Grill for dinner Valentine's Day weekend. We were lucky to have made reservations because it seemed like all the restaurants in Indy were booked! Ambiance: a romantic sexy cool with dim lighting, black leather couches, makes you want to smoke a cigar and sip on expensive cognac. This is a swank place but who said you couldn't dine in a nice spot in casualish clothes. I had the mahi mahi which was decent but not memorable. I probably should have ordered MEAT considering that it is a grill and that could be their chef's specialty cook. The service was definitely good. Our waiter Andres was very nice and helpful. We also really enjoyed seeing the kitchen from afar sitting in our booth. Would I come back here? Potentially yes. But I'm into super trendy places. Weber Grill, nonetheless, is a classic.

Several months ago, a friend and I were in need of a place to catch up over lunch downtown. He suggested Weber Grill and now every time we want to meet, we head over here for our self created "Weber Wednesdays." (Note: there's no significance to that and there's nothing special about Wednesdays, we just think we're clever.) The food here, albeit a little bit of a splurge for lunch, is always delicious - I eat one too many pretzel rolls with cheddar butter every time I come here. Oops! I've had everything from the pizza to salads to burgers to pulled pork and everything has been flavorful and amazing. Service is always friendly too. Not too overbearing but attentive and helpful. Today's waiter was definitely a step above though. Maybe it was the accent, but I found Brett to be extremely pleasant. Great stuff as always Weber! See you on my next Weber Wednesday excursion.

There's just something about meat grilled over an open flame. The caramelization achieved is something unique to grilling. And Weber Grill knows their grills. As you walk past the open kitchen, you can't help but notice the cadre of their eponymous kettle grills aflame. That's when you know you're in for some serious meat. The decor is intimate without being stuffy. I particularly enjoy the little kettle grill logos tastefully interspersed throughout the space. You could make a game of finding them all, if that's your thing. The food is outstanding. There is of course a huge selection of meat (ribs, steaks, chicken, fish). A pleasant surprise is the grilled meatloaf. You wouldn't normally think of meatloaf as something that hits a grill, but the folks of Weber have, and it is amazing.

Ooooh Weber Grill... You will make me have to diet after our relationship ends.... It's right down stairs from the Conrad, so it is very convenient to get to. I can jump down to the second floor of the Conrad, and make a quick short cut over to the bar side of the place. I think I have tried everything and now have a few favorites. My go to meal is the mini sandwiches combo, of the couple different sandwiches the best is the meatloaf. What I do like most though is the pretzel buns and bread. It's perfect. I don't think I've ever had a pretzel as good as their buns and bread. Besides the food the bar is great area to chill and have drinks. I would rate their bartenders an A+ on their ability to make drinks, they are well trained, but not very sociable.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this place. We shared an appetizer and an entree and that was enough for us to feel satisfied. M Pretzel bread was awesome I loved it. Fluffy and tasty just like a pretzel but soft with what you would expect with bread. For the app we had crab cakes. It tasted so yummy. Not dry or overbaked like others I've had before And for the entree we had the salmon dish. The salmon was cooked just right, which just enough moisture. Also nom nom nom. Service was good. We really had a nice time here.

Service: excellent, but get reservations online Food: very good. Menu is overcrowded; meats are either grilled or smoked, stay with the grilled meats. Setting: could be better, was a little upscale generic. Was expecting to see grills in action.

This was another stop during the Kwanis international convention. We got a kick out of the idea of Weber Grill having a restaurant and had to try it. It's rather upscale, and the prices were reflect that. I enjoyed a perfectly executed filet mignon with grilled shrimp. Others enjoyed their various cuts of steak and lamb chops. The restaurant has open grills and we sat near them. It was an interesting combination of smelling like you were outside at a barbecue yet being inside with cloth napkins. Not truly memorable over the long run, but good.

Brisket was terrible, more than half fat. Meat loaf was great, coleslaw was good and garlic mashed potatoes were really good. They offered to replace the brisket, but after I ate a bunch of fat covered in BBQ sauce I lost my appetite. They offered a free beer to make up for the bad food but never delivered it. Could have been a much better experience. I'll try another place next time I'm in the area.

I wouldn't recommend eating here. I came with my wife to get a nice steak.. you would think for the price it would have been good. $32 for a 14oz. New York Strip. No. It was terrible. The strip was more like a ribeye, very fatty and also was not cooked right. I asked for medium well and it came out looking rare. When I said something about it they took it back and cooked it to the point of past well done. It was burned and charred to the point that I needed to soak it in A-1 sauce in order to even be able to eat it. Also my side dish was cold when they brought back the steak. My wife had to eat her food without me so it wouldn't get cold while waiting. The service was not great. I think they could use a course or two in people skills. They didn't offer to take anything off the bill or add a discount for the inconvenience. I will never return to this place!

So I guess I'm supposed to hate this place due to the fact it's a chain, well I won't do it. Much like Bonefish every time I eat here I walk away satisfied and content with my choice plus my parents picking up the tab helped. Wife got the honey Dijon grilled chicken skewers, Dad and I the strip steak sandwich, Mom the pulled pork. Everything was excellent, parmesan cheese fries were ok I could take or leave them, wife's chicken was just average however, not bad just not much flavor. Wish the strip steak sandwich was just a little less bread or more meat, horseradish sauce mixture was just the right mix, not too overpowering. Went for a late lunch place was empty save for a few diners, waitress was excellent, extremely attentive. I've eaten here now 3-4 times and never have anything negative to say about this place. Well done Weber.

They frequently don't return credit cards as acknowledged by the manager. They realize they have a problem but do not know how to address this major financial and security concern. A high pending transaction amount was charged to my credit card when it was missing. I am still trying to resolve this with the credit card and the third party that posted the charge. Dominick, the waitress, and the night manager, Philip, were very unhelpful. The General Manger Mr Jacob Wright was even less sympathetic. They have several credit cards not returned to the customer per day as admitted by the restaurant. They have several that are never returned. Stay away from this place. Bad management.

Went late (after 9:30) on a Saturday night. Very large menu and a little hard for us older folk to see in the low light. Ordered the smoked prime rib medium rare, the server came back and said that it was all medium and over at this time. I appreciate that he did that for me . He then brought out a sample and it was sill amazing. I ended up with the Delmonico steak which was good but over cooked for medium rare disappointing. However the mashed potatoes were amazing. My wife's sample plate of pork, brisket and that heavenly smoked meatloaf was super. When I return and I will .. meatloaf, its whats for dinner oh and about a dozen of those pretzel rolls..

Weber grill is great for a solidly good meal before a Colts nite game. The service is great and the menu offers a good variety to satisfy all palates. Steaks, BBQ, Seafood and truly great and flavorful Brick chicken. I'm always a happy camper here - and my buddies prefer it over the other more well known (and pricey) downtown options.

Celebrated my birthday here. There were 6 of us and each one of us ordered something different. So at our table, we had turkey burger with pepperjack cheese, smoked pork chop, ribs, beer can chicken, a bbq combo with sausage and bbq quartered chicken and the meatloaf. Everyone really enjoyed their food even though we were almost too full to eat it all because that wonderful warm pretzel bread and cheese sauce served before your meal had filled us up. The salads were fresh, cold and crispy. Garlic mashed potatoes were very flavorful. Baked beans gets 2 thumbs-up. Fries were hot and crispy. I have eaten at the downtown Indy location and downtown Chicago location. Wasnt disappointed either time. The onlly reason I didnt give it 5 stars is for 3 reasons......one being the wait we had even after making a reservation, In Chicago, we had a reservation for 11am, arrived 20 mins early and was immediately seated 2nd,the cost of the valet parking in Indy and 3rd, the not-so-easy way to enter in a wheelchair. I know there is an elevator because the downtown Indy restaurant is upstairs, but unloading someone in a wheelchair in the middle of busy Illinois St is a bit scary because they get out on the street -side and not the curb.

The wife and I came here several times when we lived in Indy. Our experience was quite different each time, based on the volume of business Weber was having at the given moment. With that said, each time the food was quite consistent and very good. We found ourselves there this last time, eating up by the bar. The restaurant was basically empty on the bar side, and yet our hostess sat us in the far back corner, facing away from anyone's sight. We sat for about 10 minutes going unserved, and finally just moved to the bar. We were served quickly there, and had an enjoyable experience thereafter. Weber has some good eats, so we recommend it to anyone finding themselves in the neighborhood.

Not terrible. Strange layout. I thought the other locations in this chain had it so you could watch them cooking your stuff over coals. Really crowded on a Friday night. This thing on the drink menu caught my eye: Bacon & Eggs - Breakfast Meets Bourbon. Brisket-Infused Bourbon, Maple Syrup, Fresh Lemon Juice, Egg White and Crispy Bacon

Not bad. Not as good as I hoped. The waiter suggested I try the beef brisket after I told him I'm from out of town and probably wouldn't ever be back. But the brisket wasn't very tender, juicy, or tasty. I noticed that whoever cut it had trimmed off nearly all of the fat, which to me is akin to removing the marbling from a steak. So yeah, a bit of a disappointment. The pretzel rolls were good, though. I also enjoyed the whipped sweet potatoes, and the blue cheese coleslaw was okay. My friend got the salmon and seemed to enjoy it. We also got the creme brûlée and were impressed. But I'm kicking myself that I didn't get the prime rib or 28 day aged beef. Really, unless I went on an off night, I'd say the brisket was very disappointing (keep the fat, guys! Don't you realize what makes pork belly so amazing?).

Going, going, gone. What the heck has happened here? This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in Indy. But this last experience has pretty much cured us of that. The service has fallen woefully. There were times when we couldn't find our waiter for 10-15 minutes. Once we finally did order it took over an hour to get our food. And the place was only about half full. Add to that the food was not what it used to be. The beer can chicken was weak. The BBQ items were overcooked. What a disappointment!

To sum it up....... Food=good Service=bad I wish the good tasting food had service that matched here, but Weber Grill fell WAY below the mark. I don't mind paying for things, but if you're gonna charge those prices, I'd expect the following: Smiles Check up to see how everything was with our meal Refill water glasses I had the ribs, brisket and cole slaw. Food was prepared well and tasted good. I will say the only service item they exceeded on was the picking up of my card when I went to pay the bill. Will NOT be returning.

Got a bar table quickly and avoided wait. Ashley our server was great. They were out of Prime Rib, so I got the Ribeye. It was excellent, so tender I could have cut it with a fork. Mashed potatoes and onion curls were good too.

I've only been to Weber Grill twice and both times weren't for a "normal" dinner. The first time was with somewhat of a "dignitary" who was treating myself and others to a great dinner at Weber Grill. Service was impeccable and so was the food. I expected the service to be on point because of our guest, and it was. Considering it was a late dinner, around 9:30, I was pleased to see that we were treated great even though they were approaching their closing. The second time was for a Devour Downtown preview menu. Weber Grill sectioned the 30 of us off in a beautiful side room that overlooked Illinois St. They offered us grilled and marinated beef skewers, grilled chicken skewers, grilled ribs and grilled shrimp. Grilled roasted vegetables and fruit were also there, as this stop at Weber Grill was to be our appetizer. Everything was delicious - the meat has a strong grill flavor. I had to keep from going back for more. All managers from Weber Grill came out to chat with us, in which they said Weber Grill would be unveiling a food truck late Spring 2014.

Stopped in on a Thursday evening with my wife. We did not have reservations, and were seated right away at 6:00. Service and staff were super. They were attentive and very friendly. Food was very good. We both had burgers that were cooked exactly as ordered. I had the blue cheese pecan coleslaw as a side. It was unique and pretty tasty. A great experience overall.

I'd say good not great. Maybe my expectations were too high going in. It felt like s place that was a little full of itself if that makes sense. It's was pretty dark inside. The food was good but really didn't blow me away for the prices. I had the filet kabobs. They were tasty and cooked well but I've had better steak at Outback before for less money. Don't get me wrong though it was good and I'm glad I finally got to check it out.

My family and I had a great experience at Weber grill. The food was great! Brittany was our server and she was awesome. Definitely made our experience excellent. Always had a smile on her face. Food is excellent pulled pork, smoked sausage and chicken is on point considering the class of bbq restaurant. A little pricey and a little gimmicky as far as the theme, menu and decor goes. A few minor service issues but they were rectified. Otherwise service was good. Farm burger with lamb and goat cheese is excellent and onion soup is a must have. Overall a decent experience.

Fantastic Burger! There is a special cut to the meat and they are cooked to a perfect temperature. This is the first place I ever tasted pretzel bread! Long time ago and I still remember. The menu here is meat. Steak, ribs and some seafood. I wholeheartedly recommend the Salmon. It is really good and always perfect in preparation. They use a little plank of wood to be sure they don't lose your fish when it is on the grill. This place gets packed because of the value on the steaks. You don't pay a premium and the steaks are still terrific. The beer list is good and sometimes the bar does fun offerings. Once my date had a whiskey tasting. It was really fun with 5 bourbons to sample. Sorry, the deserts look great but I cannot comment. I am always too full for desert here.

Definitely a convenient location for people staying downtown. Because this place isn't too busy, it serves as a handy place to meet up with out of towers staying downtown. The food was definitely tasty and our service was great. I enjoyed the flank stake and the poblano mash potatoes were killer. However, it was not lost on me that my plate was predominately potato and minority meat. It drives me nuts when restaurants employ this tactic to make the plate look full--which it is, but with the side, not the protein of the dish. So that's why this joint looses a star. All in all, pretty solid choice.

Wife and I went there for a quick lunch. We saw all the candied nuts and peanuts on several meals. We figured it would be a no go for her peanut and tree nut allergy so we kept passing it up. Finally we broke down and asked and we were shocked that they could accommodate her allergies. So she ordered a flat bread pizza and I got the sampler appetizer. It all tasted good. I'd probably just go for the steak skewers next time since I'm not a big mustard fan. The grilled chicken had mustard brushed on it. Still tasted pretty good but wasn't my favorite. Great grill taste. Pizza was done on the grill too.

After walking past that giant red grill on the side of the building more times that I can count, I finally made it here to enjoy a meal. Unfortunately, a lot of other people did the same. We had about an hour wait at 7:00 on a nice Saturday evening, but it went by quickly after we were able to grab a beer from the bar and enjoy it outside next to their fireplace. I would highly recommend making a reservation if you don't have the time to spend waiting for a table. Outside, you get a significant smell of their charcoal grills, but that really isn't the case inside so you don't have to worry about spending the rest of the night with a charcoal aroma stuck to you. It's a pretty big place, with a few different rooms so it doesn't feel like just a giant open space and I'm sure it helps keep the noise down, as it did seem like a quieter place than I would have expected for that many people. It's definitely a nicer atmosphere than your average restaurant with the dimmed lights and nice décor. The bar has its own room with tables around the outside and a large 3 sided bar with seats all around. The kitchen is opened up to the restaurant, so you can some the food prep over their grills. It appeared our server was unfortunate enough to get 3 different tables seated all at about the exact same time, so he had to get drinks, appetizers, and entrees out at the same time for every one of them. I think he did a great job and served us with a smile on his face all night. The servers here are also better than your average restaurant, and they will go the extra mile to do the small things that set places like this apart like making recommendation and boxing up your leftovers for you. Obviously, the whole point of this restaurant is that they cook as much food as they can over charcoal grills. If you like the flavor that charcoal imparts in food, then you will like this. We started with one of the best orders of spinach and artichoke dip that I have had. It was served with a huge amount of warm herbed pita bread, and the dip itself was actually mostly spinach and artichoke instead of the cream cheese goop that most places serve as this appetizer. They also bring out some delicious pretzel rolls with butter before the meal. I went with a big burger that had a whole bunch of delicious toppings, including a healthy dose of goat cheese which I love. The burger was cooked to a great medium inside, but I will probably order it medium rare next time as it had more of a char on the outside from the grill than I would have liked. It came with fries that were pretty good, but nothing to write home about. The food was certainly better than most places I go, but their prices also matched so it wasn't some fantastic deal. Overall, I think this place is an average value for the money as far as food and drinks go, but the service that we had that night made it above average overall. I would describe it as the business casual equivalent to the dress code hierarchy.

Have always loved the Chicago location. Haven't been so thrilled with it since it arrived in Indy. Every time I've gone, something has been off. Tried it again last night, and I was ready to change my opinion, but then the service took a nose dive half-way through the meal. The surroundings are nice. Love the pretzel rolls, but I am disappointed that, at some point, they changed from a bar cheese spread to a cheesy butter spread which is mostly butter. Had the Firestarter sampler, salad, and baked potato. All was hot, prepared well, and delicious! After we received our food, the service tanked. We ate our meal with no drinks because our server didn't return to ask us if we wanted anything more to drink or to ask how our food was. We were sitting there and done with our meal for at least 15 minutes and watched him walk by our table three times and cash out two other tables before he came back to ours. It just really detracted from what was on it's way to a 5 star experience.

Dig in! Is what I'm inclined to say about the Weber Grill. I had the Chilean sea Bass- it was very flaky, moist, and generously proportioned. The garlic mashed potatoes- while not hard to execute- were exactly as you would desire them- and the asparagus were steamed just right and swimming in butter sauce. You're not going to look better in the mirror after eating here for a week but it everything , including the Creme Brulee, is satisfying and nicely executed. We also had the bacon-wrapped shrimp and goat cheese filled mushrooms for starters- they were both incredibly rich but really tasty.

Cool place to eat. Food was pretty good. I had a BBQ combo and my two friends had steaks. They loved the steaks. The BBQ combo was good but nothing to write home about. The pretzel rolls were excellent, especially with the cheese and garlic whipped butter. The decor was really cool. They incorporate various parts of a Weber grill into the design of the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and seating was comfortable. I will definitely be back and maybe next time I'll get a steak.

Was in town for a convention. Booked a reservation for the seven of us based in reviews here. The place is decorated really cool. There are Weber Grill lids and pieces and parts everywhere. Even the chairs incorporate the grill theme. Upon entry, the place smelled amazzzzzing: smokey cooking and meat. An associate and I split the oysters Rockefeller. Excellent but a bit salty. I had the burger with cheddar and bacon. It was piping hot and on a buttered brioche bun. This burger was stupid, insanely, marvelously, crazy good. I was kinda hoping it would happen: as I decided to judge the place based on how well they did something as seemingly simple as a burger. I don't think they are simple: they are a symphony of meat, cheese and various additions. In my case bacon, mayo, lettuce and tomato. Sadly, I could only eat half, I took the other half to my hotel fridge, but never got to eat it. Oh and they make their own potato chips: which are under salted, just the way I like. Everyone else at the table agreed that the food was great: one pulled pork, one ribs, one skirt steak, etc. desserts were great too. Waiter was friendly and efficient.... Highly recommend!

If you are wondering where to go in Indy for an AMAZING burger, look no further than Weber Grill. They make incredible food including steaks and I love their Cedar Plank Salmon is a close second for me, but the burger here is what really stands out. Many places overcook burgers, even when asking for them to be cooked to a certain temperature. The cook and Weber Grill knows how to make a great burger, and if you like them medium rare like I do, that is what you will be getting. The burger here is by far my favorite in all of Indy. The quality of meat they use is also superior. We loved our meals so much we even asked to speak to rhe chef so we could pay him our compliments!! I have also had the Cedar Plank Salmon. The salmon is always cooked perfectly as well, and melts in your mouth. I always have a positive experience here and love that it is close enough for me to walk. Great drinks, some local beers and a decent wine list. To get my burger fix, Weber Grill is my spot!

Very unique in that all the food is cooked over charcoal fired grills. The food is great and the service is, too. We travel through Indy several times each year and this is on our list of regular stops. Well worth the price and experience. Bottom line: Good food and good atmosphere.

Could not be more pleased with this place. There was a miscommunication with the phone lines, so I kept calling the managers cell phone. He was extremely apologetic even though it wasn't that big of a deal. I still was able to get my reservation taken care of. When we showed up, he was nice enough to stop by the table again and apologize. He even sent us over an appetizer. I am very much all about customer service, especially since I worked in retail and the restaurant industry for over 10 years before becoming an Accountant. The situation was handled great and the food we received was delicious. We will definitely be back!

The BBQ ribs and BBQ meatloaf I ordered would have been at least four stars, but the side dishes were barely one star. Between my wife and I we had four different meats and four different side dishes. The sides were not worth the carbs. Mashed potatoes were tasteless and fries would have been good on the day the were cooked (maybe a day or two ago). Both types of coleslaw tasted odd - that's being nice. The brisket and pulled pork were adequate but certainly not worthy of a Weber grill. Maybe I had high expectations due to the smell of charcoal. Dave was a good server and was speedy. He is the reason this review is as high as it is. It was a busy night, so maybe when they are slower the food is better quality? YMMV

I was surprised to discover a chain inspired by Weber grill, because isn't that all about cooking at home or while camping? The kids meals are great, come in classy ceramic trees like the kind you might get on an airplane in the old days. Get the ribs!

Very frustrated with our experience here as we expected so much more based on the things we've heard. We had a small group of people together for dinner (9 I believe?). They squeezed us into a couple tables pushed together. We asked if we could commandeer the table right beside that was empty. That request went unanswered and a few minutes they sat someone there leaving us squished. The shining moment of the meal was the appetizer platter. All of that was good, chicken, ribs, onion strings, etc. Our service was less than stellar, she only came back a couple times and our cups were constantly empty. The food.. I had the brisket. It came out cold, but alas couldn't track our waitress down to even bother saying something. The taste may have been adequate if it were warm.. The sides, beans and mac n cheese. The beans were cold, mac and cheese luke warm. Bean, boring and lacking any flavor. Mac n cheese, it was decent, but the size of the sides is only a bit larger than a shot glass. Overall, I was less than impressed and frustrated to pay over $80 for a meal and service of this quality. My wife dropped weber grill an email to express her concerns, only to not even receive a response. I'm sure the server was more than happy to collect her guaranteed 18% tip since we were a party and it was applied automatically. This place isn't worth the money.

I really like this place. Very nice atmosphere. I love their pretzel buns instead of the traditional biscuits and rolls every other restaurant serves. Food is great, service is great, I plan to make a trip soon for some steak this time. I wonder if they have Calamari...Calamair Connoisseur!!!

Even though this is a steakhouse there are items denoted on the menu for vegetarians. I had the Grilled Vegetable pizza and it was ok, it was served on a long wooden paddle. The side salad was just average. The Monday night we went was very busy but this did not detract from the good service. The atmosphere inside is nice and yes this restaurant was started by the Weber Grill company (there are only a handful).

I went here on Sunday right after the Colts game and sat in the bar. The bartenders were awesome. They give you complementary pretzel rolls with cheddar butter and regular butter. The rolls were hot and amazing. I also tried the Upland Wheat and I really liked. For the meal, I ordered the French Onion burger (1/3lb) with housemade kettle chips. Really enjoyed it. Cooked perfectly and a lot of flavor. Would definitely go back.

My first and probably last trip here. I ordered the brisket which was really quite good but the sides of baked beans and garlic mashed potatoes were mediocre, at best. And it's hard to find a mediocre mashed potato! My husband ordered a beef cabob - frankly just unpleasant tasting. The pretzel rolls were awesome, however! Generally our experience was expensive and not worth it. Sorry.

I love coming here before going to shows at the IRT. Just around the corner from there. Easy parking at the mall, not very expensive. I usual make a reservation so I won't have to wait. The pretzel rolls are to die for! The cheddar butter makes them even better. I always get the pulled pork sandwich. So tender and it falls apart in your mouth. Great for special occasions!

I ordered food to go since I'm in this city for work and I have work to do back at the hotel. My order was supposed to be ready by 8:30. It is now 8:47 and my to go order is nowhere to be found. Can't tell you what the food tastes like cuz I don't have it.

What a great happy hour menu! I ordered the 1/3 lb. burger along with the chicken skewers. All were half off the price and a money saver for the budget minded. The food was great and the service was excellent. Your gonna love the pretzel rolls fyi !

Just amazing. Food was fantastic. The service was top notch. The atmosphere was just right. The wait was almost two hours so plan ahead but there is plenty to see and do downtown while you wait. I had a medium rare hickory smoked prime rib and it might be the best steak I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked, expertly seasoned, just enough hickory to know its there but not enough to overwhelm the meat. Don't miss the s'more cake for dessert. It's really rich but a great way to cap an awesome meal. It is a little pricey but you certainly get what you pay for.

In town for a seminar and had the private room with our group of 40, so maybe that should be taken into consideration. Service was good, attentive. I had the New York strip Pittsburgh style. It was cooked correctly, but it was cold inside and out. I had the chocolate cake for desert. It was stale and without much flavor. The chocolate sauce tasted very strange. I am chocolate crazy so it has to be pretty bad for me not to eat it all. It had 3 bites. Not the best, not the worst, but I won't be back.

In the downtown area for a convention and thought I would finally dine at one of these Weber Grill restaurants. I usually don't like eating at downtown restaurant due to the cost and the crowds, at least I was half right with this place. I love the decor of the place and it was very clean looking. At the time we went there, the restaurant was fairly empty. We were seated quickly and the server was over at the table within a few minutes. The thing that struck me funny is that the first two pages of the menu are all the bar items. Other then that the menu did not really impress me. There were at least three different servers who stopped at the table to take care of us, which was great, never had to wait for anything. As someone else mentioned, we were seated near the open kitchen area, which can be noisy and busy. For the price of the menu items, the servings where kind of small. I did order the quarter chicken (why not a half which is normal serving) and from the size of the pieces, it looked like it was just out the egg. For a one time visit, it is okay. But for a repeat visit, nope. For a place that is supposed to be a grilled restaurant, it did not come across.

Wow , probably some of the best salmon I've ever had with crispy fresh sautéed green beans and mashed Redskin potatoes. But the meeting space behind the bar was very loud and separated by a curtain not a door. Very difficult to hear our presenter for a meeting. Would not recommend the space for formal presentation during 7 PM bar hours. Service was adequate. Food exceptional. Acoustics poor in meeting room.

Went last night for dinner with a group of four. We were seated right away and the table was drafty, we asked to move and it wasn't a problem. Matt was our server. He was efficient, knew the menu and the wines. His service was excellent, two of the group orders fish and one chicken. I was the only one who ordered steak, I enjoyed mine and the fries were hot and good. I ordered a side of sautéed spinach and it was good. We ordered two red wines mt veeder and sequoia grove, both we're good. I also had unsweetened ice tea which has mango and hibiscus. Tasted very well. I ordered the mini dessert trio. The chocolate cake was good berries too. The gingerbread brûlée wasn't my cup of tea so I switched it for a mini sundae. I enjoyed the meal and the restaurant was busy and noisy but it still was a good time. Matt was a terrific server. Would be back if here again.

I tend to review solely on the food. Yet, I convinced four of my friends to go here, sit at the bar, and take the time to enjoy the personalities of the bartenders on top of the service and food. Between us, and the three times I've been here in the past year traveling through, the meatloaf , the lamb, the oysters , the tuna, have all been above par. Combine that with the bar service and personalities , I love being stuck at a hotel while traveling as long as there Places like this to make traveling for a living worthwhile. Thank you management, for hiring the bartenders who at this establishment, are positive, entertaining , helpful, and efficient.

It was a busy night because it was Devour Downtown. We ended up getting a spot in the bar. The pretzel bread was fantastic. I ordered the meatloaf and it was just outstanding. I found out that it was made up of odds and ends from the steaks that were odd sized. The sauce was great and I need to look and see if I can get the sauce on-line. The only downfall was that my friend ordered the pork chops and the server noticed that the pork shop wasn't completely cooked right.. So, he offered to get another one. The second one came out and my friend checked and it was almost completely cooked right until his final couple of bites. Our outstanding server David was outstanding and attentive. He ended up comping my friends dinner and we gave him a nice tip! I would try this place again! The service can really make the evening nice. We had dinner at St Elmos the other night. While the food was great, the service was a disappointment.

I have been here twice before, once for dinner and once for lunch. The first time at dinner was SO GOOD. The food was hot and it just hit the spot. Lunch time was just OK. The food wasn't nearly as good as the dinner we first had. SO, I was looking forward to another dinner, expecting another fantastic meal. The food took a very long time to come out. I will say, I won't complain about how long it takes to get my food as long as my food is HOT. It wasn't... It was luke warm. Our server was very nice, though! I don't think we will be back.

We were here the night before Indy got crazy during GenCon. I was there with my wife as part of a 12 or 13 person group. We ended up going without reservations so we got split into 3 different tables with about a 45 minute wait. Not too bad considering the size of our group and how busy they were. The pretzel rolls are amazing. The steaks are great. And the smells... We were there after they were out of prime rib. The waiter heard that I had hyped up Weber to my wife because of the idea of a smoked prime rib and he brought the manager over. The manager let us get one of the more expensive (and large) steaks for the price of that rib eye. It was incredibly tasty and I really did appreciate them taking the time and effort to do that. We had considered just tasting some apps and coming back another night but decided to just take the manager up on his offer. Overall I have been to this location twice and have had a positive experience both times. I just wish I could a get grill to go. One day I'll have to head to a local store and buy one!

Yum Yum in my tum tum! That's what my stomach says to me every time I leave Weber grill. Start out your meal with the pretzel bread and a generous helping of the cheddar cheese butter. I like to accompany that with an alcoholic beverage which usually ends up being sangria of some sort. The last time I was there it was a Limoncello sangria, and boy was that shat good! It was served in a mason jar with a TON of fresh fruit chopped up. It was also fairly potent, which is sometimes hard to come by with fruity drinks. Anywho, do that and you'll be happy too! For my meal, I typically get a BBQ meal, although I've also had their hamburgers, salads and flatbread pizzas. In my humble opinion though, there's nothing better than their meatloaf. I don't know what they put in it, but whatever it is makes me supes happy. I usually pair it with pulled pork, their garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. It's a comfort food fest and there's really nothing better. I'm leaving out a star because #1) no one's perfect and #2) there's just something a little too chain-y about Weber Grill. Don't get me wrong - it's LEAGUES ahead of Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn or any of those other not-so-great "bbq" roadhouse places, but it still doesn't have quite that completely authentic vibe that I love. Not to say that it's held me back.. I've probs been to WG 20 times, so they've got me as a loyal fan. Especially when it's my birthday. They give me $20 free money. That's generous. Me likey!

It was awful. We both got the same burger. One was ordered medium and came out well done, the other was ordered well done and came out burnt crispy, literally. The service was slow, too.

Had heard great things so was very disappointed when our experience turned turn out so poorly. Waiting patiently for their famous pretzel bread and our salads, we were surprised when they brought our main course! Two out of three sides were wrong. My husband's meat combo was missing the ribs. My filet was to be medium rare and came out butterflied to a 1/4" thick and medium. The waiter and then the manager kept pushing for us to have free desserts. We aren't dessert people to begin with, and dessert couldn't begin to make up for the disappointment. We received a reduction in the bill which covered my botched steak.

I had a client give me a gift card for Weber Grill which is perfect because my fiancé and I had never been before. We chose to do an earlier dinner around 5:30 and though I made reservations, it looks like I didn't need to. We were greeted by a fantastic waiter who was very knowledgeable on the wine and beer list. He recommended a Riesling that was delicious and a craft beer that my fiancé enjoyed. He went over the menu in detail and talked a little bit about the history of the restaurant. We chose to decline his suggestion of an appetizer and just ordered entrees. While we waited on our dinner to come out, we munched on the delicious pretzel rolls with the onion butter. Yummy! Anytime you serve pretzel rolls, you'll have us hooked. I chose to order the Parmesan Crusted Tilapia (another suggestion from our waiter) and it came with green beans. I also decided I wanted to try the bacon mac and cheese. You can't go wrong with putting bacon on anything, especially mac and cheese. Besides the green beans, which could have used more seasoning for me, everything was delicious. My fiancé was pretty stuck on ordering the Brisket but I mentioned how many good things I had heard about the Black Angus Meat Loaf so he changed his mind at the last minute and we were both glad he did. He chose to get the mac and cheese (sans bacon) and fries. That meat load was phenomenal! It had their Hickory Smoke BBQ Sauce on it and I made sure I took plenty of samples from his plate. We declined dessert because we were stuffed! This one restaurant I want to go to again!

Excellent rolls to start out, but I highly recommend the meatloaf - typically I won't eat meatloaf from a restaurant but our server recommended it once and I absolutely loved it. It comes with a barbecue sauce that I wouldn't have ever expected and is wonderful. A little pricey, but relative to other downtown options it isn't all that bad. Great lunch stop during the week as well.

Really wanted to try this place out and did not know there was one in Indiana! The pretzel rolls are amazing and I had a cup of the Cincinnati Chili to start. Very nicely done, sweet and tangy with some very hearty meat. Reese was my server and really made sure I was taken care of. I had the Korean skirt salad and it was presented on a skillet with the salad.

We had a group of about 20 people there and I'd like to say they all had great food. In reality, only about 3 said they really enjoyed their meals. This place was overpriced for the food quality. Our server was tremendous, given that we were there for the Big Ten basketball tournament, it was St. Patrick's Day, and ComiCon was in town. That's a deadly combination that provides a non-stop freak show parade. He was very good, took control, and he turned us just like the food turned our stomachs... quickly.

Service was quick and attentive. The pretzel rolls were good. My problem is the oddly small portion size. I ordered meatloaf and brisket combo. I got one strip of meatloaf two inches by five inches. And four thin slices of brisket about six inches long. This was thin like deli roast beef thin. That's it. For over 18 bucks. I expected more for that money. Heck I get more BBQ for that in NYC. It tasted good. But it felt like a lunch portion and should have cost 13 bucks tops. Beans were ok. Sweet potatoes tasted like they were boiled and mashed. No other seasoning. Cornbread was uninspiring. I skipped the 6.50 dessert offerings.

This is one of my favorite happy hours downtown. 1. Good, strong drinks 2. Super friendly staff and bartenders 3. Chipotle BBQ wings and flatbread pizzas off bar bites menu are insane good 4. Perfect place to meet before an IRT show :)

Not impressed. The only thing I recommend are the pretzel rolls before the meal with cheesy butter. I had a $10 chicken sandwich and fries. There are better places for more reasonable prices.

It was a long Saturday (worked @ Indy 500 for Mutt Strut in the morning and then at 500p had to drop off some computers @ Monument Circle for 500 Festival) so decided to head over to Webers around 400p hoping it wouldn't be crazy crowded. Decided to just grab a seat at the bar and found the guy and gal working the bar were excellent - I'm pretty darn low maintenance (all I really ask is keep the water refilled!). Was a quick late lunch / early dinner: Excellent baked onion soup and then the salmon salad. Both were good choices and the soup was especially good since onion soup at the wrong temperature can just make a gooey mess. Skipped on dessert and just watched some of the NFL draft coverage on the multiple televisions in the bar area. Recommended if you are in downtown Indianapolis - I would imagine that during weekdays it probably hosts business meetings + business travelers at Weber Grill.

Came here Father's Day weekend , I made an reservation before hand and when I arrived 15 min late , the staff was friendly seated us right away. the food was great, meat was cooked thoroughly, my favorite was the cole slaw although I must say my children's plate was bigger than mine ...so next time I go I will order from the kids menu...lol

My wife had the filet and I had the strip. We both agreed that among restaurants in this price range, they were among the best we had ever had. The blondie was by far the best we ever had. Service was excellent, beginning with the host staff and ultimately with our server, Melinda.

It has been a life-long dream of mine to eat here, and the experience lived up to all my expectations. I was staying at a hotel less than a block away. It was a rainy day. I walked down (quickly), and went and sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly, helpful, and informative. He hooked me up with the Fountain Square Preacher's Daughter Amber...amazing! The pretzel rolls with the cheddar butter...outstanding! I got a burger...of course, and it was perfectly cooked. Very meaty and tasty. My friends joined me as they rolled into town, and we all got different burgers, and all loved them. I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you like grilling and you like weber (and who doesn't?!), then this place is well worth the time.

Good food. Attentive service. The pretzel rolls they give you before your meal were very good. I had the Martini Burger. Half pound burger, nice and juicy. Medium rare. Maybe a bit over cooked, but not by much. Food came pretty fast. I would defiantly go back again.

The place was super packed on Saturday night. However, I quickly found a place to sit in the bar area. Beef brisket was ok; it was a little cold. The whipped sweet potatoes, mac & cheese and corn bread were delicious. I didn't get to try the pretzel bread/rolls, as my server didn't bring any out. No time for rolls anyway ~ my food came quick!

Was disappointed after I saw all the great reviews. The smell the instant you walk in the door is amazing. Makes your water mouth instantly. For the price, the food was just ok. I had the BBQ wood grilled chicken and my date had the 1/2 slab ribs. They didn't even fall off the bones. Ribs and a fork just don't go well together. The while meat of my chicken was dry. The dark was tasty and flavorful. Best part of the meal .. . . .the cocktails to start with. They are known for their carmel apple martini. A tad on the sweet side but what do you expect? The orange mojito. . . .AWESOME! Great flavor and not overpowered by the mint.

The free pretzel bread was the best part of the meal. I had the Wisconsin burger and fries for dinner. It was OK, but slightly disappointing. The waiter was nice and patiently answered our questions and explained the menu. Overall, it's a serviceable option for grabbing a meal with good company, but nothing to get excited about.

Started out well. The host was very personable and attentive. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the server. He was brusque and MIA much of the time. The brisket was good but on the cold side. The sea bass was very good but the presentation was uninspired for the $34 cost. When the server was around we felt rushed for table turnover - probably because the NFL Combine was in town. Good food but cold brisket. Great sea bass but uninspired presentation for 34 cost. OK but not great service feltrused for turnover combine . Busters not working . Host was great.

Food was delicious. I brought my husband and two sons for a birthday dinner for my husband. We waited about 30 min for a table, ( no biggie) when seated the 3 men were given menus. I waited more than 5 min for a menu. Being the only female at the table this was a disappointment. Not sure if it's because I was not dressed up or what but I won't be back.

I came here for lunch about 4 years after i first tried it. I remember the pretzel rolls with Gouda butter and the impeccable service. This time, it was great service and timely, but unfortunately, i don't think the butter has the Gouda in it anymore... or maybe I'm mistaken? or maybe it was from an appetizer? the butter tasted normal. :( The food, however was excellent, my wife's salmon salad was excellent, although I prefer warm salmon, the cold salmon was fine. what was awesome was her spinach, candied pecans, goat cheese and beet portion of the salad. it was awesome. I got the lunch BBQ sampler, which was very tasty on their pretzel rolls. potato chips were also excellent.

The husband is an avid griller and when we saw a grill we knew we had to make it a date night. A week later we walked in with a reservation and were immediately sat. My husband and I wandered in here on a Tuesday night. The place was busy! We were promptly seated and served delicious pretzel rolls. We weren't starving, so we decided to split an appetizer and cheeseburger. The appetizer was delicious. We got the sampler with the meat skewers. It was all great and the perfect size to share. The cheeseburger was delicious as well. It wasn't your fast food burger and left you full and satisfied. I asked for more pretzel rolls and they didn't hesitate to bring any more. The wait staff is pleasant and helpful. My water glass never went more than halfway empty! We will definitely be back for a relaxing evening out downtown.

A client took me and a few others here for dinner. I had read a few reviews so my expectations were not too too high. I am glad I took my own advice. Decor-wise, the place was inviting and smelled great. Dark ambiance reminiscent of what a steakhouse would feel. The hostess whistled throughout her shift however - could not quite figure out why that would be deemed acceptable but oh well. The staff, while attentive, was not polished. For example, I should not have to argue with the server about what I ordered. I think I know what I ordered. Just say "I'm sorry sir, we will fix that for you." Don't insult me by continuing to force a dish on me that is incorrect. I ordered a NY strip, oscar style, medium rare, blackened, with a salad and fries. The salad was decent. No complaints. My steak came our with mashed potatoes, a sliver or three of crab on top, and was clearly not blackened. After the aforementioned argument, I got the right meal. A visit from management would have been nice, but no such luck. The steak was properly cooked. It needed more seasoning but I did not ask for steak sauce. It was decent. Don't spend money getting it oscar style. For the few slivers of crab they gave, it was almost laughable. I gave up on the blackened part...did not feel like another argument. I was not overly impressed however with the meal. For certain, this was not a prime cut of steak. Any famous name franchise steakhouse can easily compete. My dinner mates did not comment on their meals. Take that for what you will. Overall this place I think is over-hyped. I felt they wannabe like the other famous steak places in town but miss the mark both in service and food quality. I'm not local to Indy but if I were I would not recommend this place to my friends. Go to longhorn or some other franchise. You'll get about the same experience but spend lots less.

I was here recently with a group of friends for dinner before an Ice game. I have always enjoyed the smells of this restaurant when I have walked by and was glad to finally go in and try their food. To begin with, we started off with drinks, but didn't order appetizers as they brought bread (very good!) along with normal butter and I believe a cheddar cheese butter to the table. We next ordered our dinner and I went for the bbq combo. My choices were the smoked sausage links and their angus meatloaf. Yeah, I know, odd choices for a steak place, but let me assure they were both excellent. Along with the dinner I had a side order of their bourbon baked beans and mashed potatoes. I can't remember everything that my friends ate, but judging by the smiles on their faces, they enjoyed their meals. We next moved on to their desserts and we ordered the Bailey's spiked cheesecake, double chocolate bundt cake and the white chocolate blondie. We all enjoyed the desserts, top marks to the cheesecake and the chocolate bundt cake, but the white chocolate blondie was okay. None of us really liked it. The service was very good and we were never wanting for a refill, napkins and our dishes were promptly removed when empty. Also, as one would expect, the restrooms were immaculate. Always an important point for me to notice when going to any business.

3.5 stars! Went to Thanksgiving dinner last night, and aside from service being slow, (even drink service was slow) i was glad we decided not to cook. It was very busy here! This was the first time we had ever gone out to eat for Thanksgiving. Their ThanksG menu consisted of smoked turkey and sausage stuffing with cranberries, choice of soup/salad starter, side of mashed vs sweet potatoes, side of asparagus vs broccoli (brussel sprouts ran out!), and dessert of pumpkin pie vs bundt cake (chocolate pecan pie sold out). I thought the turkey was great! moist and awesome smokey flavor, good gravy too. Large portion of turkey and stuffing. Cranberries tasted like they had some fizz in the juice (may ginger ale?) not that I'm complaining. Pumpkin pie was drizzled with a spiced caramel. Mom really like the butternut squash soup. They also had a spiced cider Sangria that was delicious! Kids menu entrees come in a big divided plate and includes a vegetable side and fruit and a cookie and drink. Steak skewers were tender and a bit smokey but my 2 year old seemed to love it. we used to come to Weber Grill alot when we first moved to Indy a couple years ago- they serve great food, good portions, decent prices, and I love the pretzel rolls! Rib eye, beer can chicken and garlic mashed potatoes are great.

This place made me feel a bit awkward. Jon and I don't go to many chain-type restaurants since moving downtown, and chain-not-trying-to-be-a-chain is the impression you get as soon as you walk in to Weber Grill. The food wasn't bad, but I also wasn't excited to tell anyone about it, either. The bar ambiance is pretty nice. The display behind the bar caught my attention a few times. Not a bad spot is you have to jump in a grab something, but for my money, I'd rather go to a local spot. If I HAD to eat on that block, I'd rather go across the street to Buca.

Burgers, Pretzel Bread, Steak, Atmosphere. I give two thumbs up to it all. If you have never had goat cheese on your meat, you are missing out! Weber Grill is the perfect combination of chic and seamless service with a hint of excitement with palate enhancing dishes and beautiful palate cleansing wines. No matter what you are in the mood for, or what your pocketbook is allowing, your taste buds are sure to kick it out of this world! The dimmed lighting and soft music make it a great place for either a romantic date or a family get together. One of the highest recommended places to eat in Downtown Indy. Feel comfortable in jeans or an evening gown, the classy style allows for a diversity in clientele. Easily accessible to all downtown attractions, there is a reason Weber is a city favorite.

Not a five star experience certainly. Our server was not attentive at all and while the food was alright it wasn't much more than warmed through. A $60 bill but not a $60 meal.

Good selection on the menu. Friendly service. I was thinking about going BBQ but instead went for the "The Farm" KettleBurger - Weber's House Blend of Freshly Ground Beef & Lamb, Nueske's Applewood Smokehouse Bacon, Oven-Roasted Tomatoes, Goat Cheese, Sesame Seed Bun. Rarely do I see lamb burgers on a menu so I had to give it a try. I have no idea what the blend is but in my mind there was not enough lamb in the burger to make the taste that different and thus I would certainly pass on it in the future. Being there for lunch the only other thing I tasted were the Onion Curls with Chipotle Mayo & BBQ Dipping Sauces. Tasty but a little greasy though not too much to be bad and the Chipotle sauce was really good. The pretzel bread was a big plus to see at the table and in the end I give the place a leap of faith as I see several things I would really like to try next time around!

This was an enjoyable dining experience. I went here with 3 other friends because we were in town for the FDIC conference. It took about 45 minutes to be seated but once seated the service was great. Our waitress made sure we had plenty of pretzel rolls with the Gouda cheese spread. I ordered the blue cheese and onion burger medium. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because my burger came extremely well-done instead of how I ordered it. While this wasn't a deal breaker I would not accept it next time. My friends ordered the founders 18 oz. steak for $55.00 and finished every bite calling it delicious. My chief ordered the ribs and brisket dinner. The brisket was an extremely small portion but he was happy with the ribs. Overall, I would recommend The Weber Grill because service was good and the meal was good.

Went for lunch. My son and I got the Kettle Prime Burger with the Parmesan fries, and they were great. My wife got the chopped chicken salad, which unfortunately was not good -- the chicken was very dry. It probably did not help that the chicken was chilled. My daughter got the French onion burger, and she thought it lacked flavor. So, for us it clearly depended on ordering correctly. I would go back -- I want to try the beer can chicken.

We went to Weber because it was very close to our hotel ( literally 100ft) the staff was friendly and our waiter was cool. We ordered an appetizer of Spinach Dip, and while it wasn't horrible it wasn't to our liking. I ordered the roasted chicken with mash potatoes and it was delicious. My boyfriend has some type of BBQ 4way sampler and his was too tasty! If you're a Sangria fan you will love their lemon flavored sangria. Speaking of lemon, a lot of their cocktails have splashes of lemon flavoring to them. They also use a lot of Bourbon and Whiskey in their feature drinks. For dessert I had the cheesecake. It could have been a tad smoother in texture but the taste was about average for cheesecake. I would return to Weber and would recommend it to friends, so if you're in the area and want a chill environment to dine it at this is your place!

Great atmosphere and generous portions. The brisket had great flavor as did the sausage links. My mom got a completely different salad that was ordered (she ordered a Cobb and got a Southwest... Big difference), but all was remedied and we enjoyed our meals. I tried the Sangria of the day, which was Limoncello, based on the recommendation of our server, and I wasn't impressed. Overall good dinner!

A lot of mix ups. Bad service. Wrong orders. Wrong temps. Long waits. Go somewhere else, especially for the money.

The pretzel rolls immediately got our attention followed by cocktails expertly crafted. My dinner companion's prime rib was tender, juicy, and well seasoned. My first sirloin was over cooked, but this was remedied very quickly to my satisfaction. Dinner was capped off with the macadamia nut blondie that was one of the most exquisite sweets I've had in a long time. It does tend to lean heavily on the sweet side, but several bites left us completely satisfied. Our server was friendly, professional, and considerate. We could not have asked for a better dinner experience while exploring a new town.

I have had many steaks in many different areas throughout the country. I had their ribeye and it was one of the best steak I have had. I was on a two week bing of steaks so needless to say, I was getting pretty sick of steak BUT I enjoyed every bite of that steak. The bread and the mashed potates were equalling as delicious. Because of Weber, I have a new standard that I rate my steaks by. I had Capital Grille later that week, and Weber wins it hands down.

Phenomenal. Pretzel bread and buns are excellent. My Wisconsin burger was cooked to a perfect medium well and tasted awesome. Our app, the sampler, had really good meat skewers and ribs. This place is great. I highly recommend it.

Pretzel rolls were amazing, however they could use better dips or sauces to go with them. Food was good, a little slow coming out, but worth the wait. I would like to go back again and try more items.

The pretzel rolls are great. They have pretty good food. It's not different than what you would find at any steak place. It can be pretty pricey. I can think of other places you could go and get better food for the price... The service has been fantastic each time I've gone though.

Absolutely delicious! We are from Florida and were in Indiana for business. We decided to give it a try since we were staying at the Conrad, which is right across the street. The service was excellent. Everything we ordered was wonderful. Prices were reasonable. I have no complaints.

New to indianapolis, from LA. First impression it has a nice feel to it elegant old classy! (Inside). Food was great delicious had the martini burger! You must be a blue cheese and olive lover! Free! Pretzel bread. But made the BIG MISTAKE! To eat out on the patio/sidewalk! (Mid August) it was hot! Not much of a view... Next time I WILL eat inside!

I ordered the Bistro Steak (because it was the only steak on the lunch menu). It was a steak. It was cooked the way I asked for it. Nothing about it made my toes curl. It came with overly crunchy little fries. They reminded me of those canned potato sticks. Not tasty. Sexy Beast ordered the Filet Mignon (despite it not actually being on the lunch menu). He sat there making smacking noises and licking his fingers. His toes were obviously curling. The service was a bit spotty. Our glasses were empty longer than they should have been and the substitution of mashed potatoes instead of those crunchy little fries was completely ignored. I'd likely choose another steak joint if given the option. Not exactly my favorite experience.

Great dinner here with a waiter who took my allergy needs seriously--wrote down everything on a special colored sheet of paper to take back to the chef. I had the brick chicken, mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli--without fear of anything prepared with onion, garlic, or wheat.

One of those weird experiences where the lunch menu beats the supper menu. Always very busy and fun. The food at lunch is excellent and served quickly. However, once the sun goes down it becomes a mediocre at best restaurant.

I wanted to like this place but couldn't. I've been there twice now and the first time I thought it was just a fluke. A few months later I took my family there and the food was just super salty, as the first time. I had the BBQ pick two. Meatloaf and brisket. The brisket was tender...but seemed like half fat. Just congealed fat. Not a great taste. We had the artichoke appetizer. So salty. Everyone complained about their food being so salty. We left quite a bit on the plates. My wife got the crabcakes on top of the saltiest spinach ever. I never even ate more than a fork of the garlic mashed potatoes due to it being so overloaded with salt. I guess this restaurant makes up for flavor with salt. The pretzel bread wasn't bad. For what you'll pay there, you are better off hitting another restaurant.

After years of anticipation, I finally made it to Weber Grill (not in Chicago as I originally anticipated). The food was delicious. Everyone in our group cleaned their plates. Selection included the salmon, ribs, demonico steak, and crab cakes. The dessert menu was delectable too. Definitely hope to visit again the next time I'm in town!

Very good with a varied menu. Great to get a charcoal steak, and not have to cook it myself!

We ordered the ribs and they were really good. The barbecue sauce is delicious and the meat falls off the bones. Service is great. Since we're new to the area, the server gave us great pointers a out Indy and its history. He even gave my son a free ice cream with chocolate chip cookies. The cookie was the bomb. I will definitely order this next time.

Went with my husband and two kids on a Friday night. Wait was shorter than expected and kids meals had a tater tots, fruit, broccoli and a cookie! My husband's burger was great! Mine was a bit over done, but that was the only complaint. Service was great!

I don't know if it was because of the DCI event at Lucas Oil this weekend, or if it is an every weekend occurrence, but the downtown restaurants were BUSY on Saturday. At lunch time we decided we would eat dinner here. Luckily, we also made reservations at that time. It's a good size restaurant, able to handle large parties (we saw a wedding party come in). The food was fantastic and delicious. I got the ribs. The mac & cheese side was super creamy. The garlic roasted spinach was ahhhh-mazing (though a VERY small amount of it, considering the extra price because it is a "premium" side choice). I got the berry mule to drink. Also scrumptious. Service was kinda slow (even taking into account that it was busy and crowded). Our waiter seemed a little, I don't know..., annoyed with things in general, in comparison to the other waiters in the section. A bit cranky it seemed. But overall, it was yum!

Super delish. Waited forever so make sure you get reservations! The pretzel buns and cheese butter was awesome. So were the mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. Meatloaf was ok... Tasted like a hamburger. They do give you a ton of good. There was no way we could eat it all .

Great steaks and first class service. We came for the smoked prime rib and found out that they were all out. When they heard how disappointed we were the manager offered us a better steak at the (lower) prime rib price. Now that's service. The food of course was amazing too. Perfect steak, garlic mashed potatoes, and other yummies. All around good food.

I ordered the BBQ combo plate. The meat and sauce were ok, but the sides were disappointing. Half my food was cold. I then ordered the apple pie per the server's recommendation. The pie was not fresh and it was also brought out cold. Service staff is friendly and knowledgable. Atmosphere is great. Food is just ok.

Went with a friend on a trip in Indianapolis. Overall I was impressed. Had I not been told and had it not had the name "Weber" emblazoned on it I would not have known that it was a chain restaurant. Wait time was very short, though we did go early in the evening. Our server was very attentive, energetic and had a great attitude. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer which was delicious and I highly recommend it (they use an awesome bacon and onion vinaigrette). We both ordered New York strip steaks and it was a steak, seasoned well. My only qualm with my steak was that it was overcooked on one half of it, where I'm assuming it sat on a hotter part of the grill. It's nit picky, I know, but when you go to a steakhouse I would anticipate them to ace a New York Strip. Cost just about $100 for two after tipping the server so it's a bit on the pricey side, but expected for the downtown area. In summary: Would go again, food was good but didn't blow me away for a steakhouse. Very attentive and energetic staff without being overly intrusive.

I was in town on business and I had a hankerin' for some ribs. I was not sure what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. The ribs were so tender they fell off the bone and I was able to cut them with a fork. the meat had a sweet and tangy flavor. The mac & cheese was phenomenally good. It was very rich and the cheese clung onto the pasta nicely. The baked beans also had a nice kick to them that I enjoyed. I really want to go back to try other items on the menu.

Good stuff for us carnivores. Server was competent but very pro same sex marriage material. No problem. But the group of four men had a seriously hard time keeping a straight face when he, at one point, burst onto our table with this news. "Guys! Big Surprise for you! I made you some cheddar butter!" There is still a bit of a wound inside my mouth where I was biting my cheek so as to not explode in laughter.

This place is always delicious. My work team and I have been here a couple of times now, and we have never been disappointed. Very friendly service, and they can handle large parties. The white fish was outstanding and I highly recommend it... while it lasts!

We weren't all that hungry so we got a bunch of sides and shared. The pretzel buns were hot and fresh and super good! Corn on the cob: one of the sweetest best corn I have had! Yum! Whipped sweet potatoes: like guilt-free (kind of) dessert in a bowl Veggie Kabobs: pretty good big enough for 2 or 3 people Veggie burger: really good black bean patty it was a dense, chewy one like I have had sometimes. Fries and Kettle chips: eh! skip that.. nothing spectacular.
