It makes me sad to see the bad reviews about Toppers because this was our first time trying it and they hit a home run with us! We got the loaded tot-zza, parmesan garlic boneless chicken and the chocolate bacon topper-stix. Everything was hot, generously topped, delicious and only came up to $25. We got our order for carry out, it was ready in 15 min at 10:45 on a Friday night, and the guys working were super nice. The fun, unique menu options are what drew us in and is what is gonna keep us coming back. I'd say to at least give it a try. We loved it :)

Pizza might be worth your time if they get your order right. Definitely don't ask for delivery unless you're okay with a three hour wait. Awful service, pizza is expensive and so-so. How about you try Bazbeux. Or Papa Johns? Or maybe meth? All better options.

We will not return to this establishment. Below you will see an email from the store manager asking for my phone number and for my credit card number so she could refund our money for the bad experience. 2 emails and half a dozen phone calls later she has not replied, called or refunded our money as promised. I even went so far as to call the corporate offices in Wisconsin and they were going to reach out to her and that has not happened either. You see what true management is when things go bad by how they react and what action they take. She sent a really impressive email but then totally dropped the ball and showed her true " I don't give a crap attitude. Toppers is not the only good pizza in Indy and we do not have to drive a half hour to be disrespected. I will now dispute the charges with my credit card company. Good Evening John, Today, I received the comment you left on our website about your experience at the Toppers Pizza in Downtown Indianapolis. Firstly, I want to thank you for your feedback on your experience last night. It is always greatly appreciated so we can continually learn, improve, and grow as pizza heroes and as a company. I also want to thank you for your first review of us from your experience on January 31st. That was quite the killer review you originally gave us and made me feel really great about my team. I am so sorry that the second review couldn't be as great. I am sincerely sorry for the service and unsatisfactory food you received last night. This is completely unacceptable. I fully understand why you would be so upset and I agree that you should be. You were 100 percent correct in thinking that you could come in and order the BOGO in shop and not over that internet. I can assure you that the reason that it says "online only" in the menus is to drive pizza lovers to our website, which keeps getting better and better. It is not meant to limit that offer to online ordering only. I am so sorry for not effectively communicating this to my team. Please trust that I am personally speaking to each team member about these deals so it never happens again. I also want to apologize for the incorrect and unsatisfactory food quality. These are never things that I want to hear about our product and personally, do not tolerate. I too believe that Toppers Pizza is some of the best pizza I have ever eaten and want the entire world to think as well. I want to refund your credit card the $39.21 for your order last night. In addition, if it would be alright with you, I want to send you some coupons to make it up to you. You can use them at your leisure or whenever you feel ready to, if you ever feel ready to; they will not have an expiration date. I very much want you to be able to try the wings again, more of our crazy toppings, and delicious Topperstix. It really means a lot to me on a personal level that someone would take the time and money to drive as far as you do to come to our store and to choose us over every other place out there. It also means a lot that you take the time to be so detailed in how your experience was. I hope that you will accept the coupons and give us another chance. John, you honestly do mean a great deal to us. I was hoping that you left your phone number with the comment so I could talk to you personally. If you would be willing to give me it, I can contact you about getting your card refunded. All I need to do is get the card number from you since we do not keep any records of those for security reasons. I also would love to verify that the address you provide is the address to send the coupons to. Please feel free to email, call, or even stop into Toppers so we can take care of this. I will be here everyday the rest of this week, Thursday 10:30 am-10:00 pm, Friday 10:30 am-8:00 pm, Saturday 5:00 pm-close, and Sunday 5:00 pm-10:00 pm. Thank you again and my sincerest apologies, Sara Shaffer, General Manager Toppers Pizza IUPUI T.P. of Champaign, Inc. | d/b/a Toppers Pizza · Never Settle 910 W. 10th St., Suite 12 · Indianapolis, IN 46202

We ordered 11 pizzas for work one Friday and they all were delicious! The tater tot pizza is very good! The thin crust was very good - our favorite for sure. Service was quick and pizza was hot and fresh. Give it a shot!

Toppers Pizza - not quite top notch. I happened upon Toppers Pizza quite by accident. I was planning to visit another "newish" spot ( yelp.com/biz/blaze-fast-… ), but the line was snaking its way out the door. My companion and I decided to stroll across the street and ran right into Toppers. The pizza was good. Nothing to celebrate with a parade in the street, but certainly worth a try. There are a variety of menu options and topping choices. The space is very small with only one 4-person high top table, about 6 bar stools, and a couch/conversation nook. I assume Toppers wants you to take your treats to-go. I would recommend Toppers if you just want something quick, easy, and relatively reasonably priced. But, don't make a special trip. This is definitely a "because I was in the area and kind of wanted pizza" spot.

More like a 3.5 in my book but I'll be generous and give it a 4. This place is open until 3am on Saturdays, later than any of the other close by pizza places. The employee that took our order on a Friday night was extremely nice. My friends and I were definitely not sober but the employee handled us really well, never acted like he was annoyed or that he didn't want to deal with us. The pizza itself was average for a pizza delivery place. I would probably choose this place over the Papa John's diagonally across the street. There aren't that many tables inside, though.

Although they gave me a coupon they forgot my salsa and sour cream for the taco pizza. I even told the guy on phone twice I want the sour cream and salsa. Strike two Toppers! I also got triple extra pizza sauce on a hand toss this time and it was the first time I tasted sauce on their piZza. If you like bread and cheese this is your place. The tall boy is almost identical to the hand tossed. I wouldn't order toppers again. They were also having phone problems and the guy on the phone was pretty bad at taking orders. Took forever to order two pizzas sticks and a 2 liter. Update. For messing up my pizza they mailed me a certificate for my entire order. Because of this and delivery at 3am I am going to raise a star. If you want a chain type pizza and want some unique options this may be your place. Ordered a classic tall boy with extra sauce and light cheese and a buffalo thin crust. Got NO sauce and lots of cheese SMH! The tall boy style is equivalent to the pan pizza at Pizza Hut texture wise and I was a little disappointed. They market it like a deep dish and it looks nothing like the pictures online. Still wasn't bad. Thin crust was your basic thin crust but came delivered still crispy which is rare. Still fairly new so I'll give them a break. Decent pizza place and fairly priced but nothing that stands out and makes it the place I will choose with so many options. If they pay for my one pizza that got messed up I may go again. Delivery guy called me twice to find me which I would understand downtown for some however if you google my address it is correct and easy to find. He also forgot a pen and I couldn't tip him on receipt.

I placed an order around 7pm and the guy told me he would have my pizza and wings there in 25 minutes. "Yeah right" I thought and he was wrong, it got here in 23. Holy cow, and on a Friday night! The pizza was delicious, hot and fresh, boneless wings were good too. I am sure there may have been issues with long waits for delivery in the past, but not anymore. I will be ordering from here again very soon and recommend you give it a try as well.

I waited 35 minutes for a personal pizza. Pizza was awesome but it was kind of really lame waiting here and reading all the jibberish on the walls. I think artsy pizza shops are now way too mainstream, how about a an old-school pizza shop now for a change?

As pizza chains go... I can honestly say that this is the best pizza I have had. This place just opened a day ago so we figured we'd give it a try, and it did not disappoint. Here's some reasons why: 1. Ordering: You can order online or by phone, the website is super easy to navigate and they post their current promotions in a very obvious location. You also will get a confirmation email if you order online. 2. Delivery: After ordering on a Sunday during the games we were told that it would take about 40 minutes before our food would arrive. Not great, not terrible for a Sunday and a brand new restaurant. I was surprised when I received a call from the delivery guy 20 minutes later telling me he was about 5 minutes away. I love that he gave us a head's up and that our food came over 10 minute earlier than previously estimated. 3. The good part (the food): We got a small macaroni and cheese pizza, a medium Canadian bacon pizza (all hand-tossed) and an order of cheesy bread sticks. Everyone was surprised by how much they loved everything. Crust was perfect and there was a perfect balance of sauce, cheese and toppings. We have had other macaroni and cheese pizzas but this one easily took the cake. All this food fed three adults and we still have over half the order of sticks left as well as half of a medium pizza. So while it was a bit pricier than your average chain pizza place, it was definitely filling and worth it for the leftovers. Lastly, they deliver from 10:30AM - 3AM EVERYDAY... so if we loved the pizza at 6pm I know it'll be unbelievable at 2:30AM.

Ordered my first pizza from Toppers 90 minutes ago. It was supposed to be here in 20-30 minutes. Needless to say won't make that mistake again.

Staying locally for the Indy 500 and was absolutely blown away by the quality of this place! Ordered 2 pizzas and a pound of wings and from the time I placed the order to delivery to my hotel was under 30 mins (as promised) and it was piping hot! Patrick my delivery person was very efficient even having plates on hand even though I had forgot to request them . This pizza would rival any pie from my hometown Chicago . Do not hesitate yo order from here.... Great service AND great pizza!

I have honestly never been treated so rudely in my life but it makes a great excuse to write my first restaurant review ever! I live in an apartment complex that was targeted with 50% off deal. After calling and being on hold for about 15 minutes, I finally get to place my order with an extremely disinterested employee. I order a large pizza and single order of Topperstix and tell the girl about the deal. She recognizes that the deal is legit and gives me a total of $17.50 before the delivery charge. This seems a little odd to me especially considering they are running a deal on their website for my same order for $18.99. She says the two deals can't be combined which is fine but I ask her if the normal price for what I ordered for a pizza and Topperstix is really $35. "No sir the normal price is $18.99." This back and forth goes on one or two more times with her mixing in over dramatic sighs. I ask to speak with a supervisor but after being on hold for another 5 minutes I just hang up. So if you want your intelligence insulted by a teenager would couldn't pass a middle school math class, then go ahead. I was only interested in this place because of the deal but I'm sure Blaze (which is right across the street) is much better.

This place is absolutely fantastic. No more traditional pepperoni pizzas! The tater tot pizza is my favorite. Nacho cheese, mozzarella, bacon bits, tater tots. What's better all at once? Also, I had it delivered to my apartment and I can honestly say it was the first delivery guy I've ever seen be happy and act appreciative for my business. The price is a little higher than the other chain places, but you get such a great tasting, non traditional pizza that it's really worth it!

Ordered the Bacon Sticks, and they were absolutely delicious. We asked that they make the sticks with extra love in the special instructions box, and they went above and beyond our expectations. Thanks Toppers!

I just found one of my new favorite pizza places! I have to admit there is quite a wait picking up but it was worth it! I can see why they are busy, snow is here, people don't want to cook so there is perhaps a demand for delivery? I mean i waited extra 10-12 mins for my pizza just because they messed up one of my orders, but the order the messed up they gave me the pizza which they accidentally made it maui Hawaiian instead of chicken BBQ. They were very nice about and apologized for messing up. I must admit it was hard to finish 3 mediums between 2 people, but I guess i have lunch and dinner for the next few days! Also, they have 4 TVs and a nice couch with a few tables you can perhaps sit down to enjoy your pizza. So its not to bad of a wait if your going inside to pick up, at least you have some entertainment while your waiting.

I had never heard of Toppers until we got a mailer. They were offering a deal where, if you bought at least $10/food, they'd give you a scratch-off card worth at least $10. So, we decided to order, not expecting much. We decided to go with their deal, a large house pizza (I think it was called 3 Little Pigs) and a triple order of TopperStix (cheese covered breadsticks), for about $21. I think it was $25 with delivery free + then the tip. It was really good! The pizza was generously topped; the breadsticks were cheesy and yummy; and the give you dipping sauce for the pizza and the breadsticks. They have some crazy combinations -- a mac and cheese pizza (carb coma, I expect!) and even one with tater tots on it. Jimmy Johns is our usual go-to but I can see Topper's taking over, especially for the price.

My friends introduced me to Toppers Pizza a few weeks ago with the tater tot pizza and buffalo chicken pizza - both were so unique and delicious. The tater tot pizza is pretty much my favorite, though, and since then I've ordered it twice for home delivery. If you like unique toppings on your pizza, this the way to go!

Went on a whim-people from work had ordered for lunch, and the breadsticks on the menu looked delicious! How can anything covered in cheese not be wonderful? It is virtually impossible. I got them, and they were amazing. I mean amazing. Slightly garlicky, cheesy, and greasy. I got rranch and marinara or some kind of tomato sauce. The ranch was the best pick. It isn't homemade(comes in a pre-packaged container, as did the red sauce), but it complimented the sticks well. I tried a piece of pizza that I could not tell you the name of from my co-workers lunch. It had bacon and cheese and was yummy. Next time I am at work and we order out, I am insisting on Toppers.

I love Toppers, but it seems like this location isn't the greatest. Twice now when we've ordered the pizza came over an hour late. Both times they lost the online order... today, when the pizza finally got here, it was undercooked - extremely doughy. If you know you're an hour late on delivery, what's another 5 minutes to actually cook the pizza thoroughly?! Will not be ordering from this place again. Instead, we'll make a trip to the Carmel location!

This is honestly my favorite pizza place. Not only do they have the best signature pizzas but they also have an amazing staff. They are always super friendly and energetic. Also they are open till 3 am for those late night cravings! If you go, try out the topper stix you won't regret it. Step out of your comfort zone and order one of their crazy signature pizzas like a Tator-tot pizza!

Absolutely the worst pizza I've ever tasted! They have ruined the cliche that there are only two things in the world that can never be bad pizza and s.... The pizza was raw. There was no good flavor in the pizza what-so-ever. The toppings including the sauce were wrong. Please save yourself and go elsewhere!

I have to admit I can't resist Topperstix. While passing through Indy I realized to my surprise they now have a Toppers! Of course I had to stop in. I found out that even all these miles away from the HQ they still make the dough in the store everyday. To all the citizens of Indy please do yourself a favor and try out some Topperstix, you will be glad you did.

I wanted pizza but didnt want to get off the couch so I decided to have Toppers deliver for the first time. The person on the other side of the phone didn't seem to be able to hear me which was slightly frustrating but not a huge deal. She told me it would be delivered in 45 minutes.I had called back after about an hour and a half after placing my order to see what was up and the lady on the phone was surprised it hadn't arrived yet. 2 hours after placing the order a barely warm pizza that felt like it had been sitting around for an hour and a half was delivered. The delivery guy said the problem was that a driver wasnt scheduled that day so he got called in at the last minute.
