As always, they know who we are and they're always so kind. My son was upset this time and our waitress came by and talked with him, soothed his ego, and within a few minutes he was up at the buffet picking out food he always eats. It made our dinner a lot more enjoyable. No one wants to be THAT table. It's also nice to be able to let the kids pick out their favorites and we can eat the sushi bar since it's the New Year and New diets. Yay for california rolls!

Let's face it. Most Asian buffets offer the same experience for their customers. Lots of dishes but nothing warranting finishing the small helping you took nevertheless returning for seconds. Tokyo Buffet has followed suit with other south side Asian buffets by discontinuing all-you-can-eat crab legs, but they have also cut their American food offerings way down. The only aspect of this particular buffet that we enjoy is the sushi. However, the soy sauce the owners choose to offer is of such poor quality that it nearly ruins the sushi. This time, my husband suggested I water down the soy sauce a little, and that helped tremendously. Will we return to Tokyo Buffet? Probably only on a Sunday afternoon in the far future when we want to avoid restaurants with waits due to the after-church crowd. And, once again, I've sworn off buffets -- until he decides we need to go someplace quick and easy.

A typical, Asian buffet joint with subpar food. The only thing I remember eating here is their freshly cut fruit (watermelon and juicy oranges), and some dumplings. Their sushi was gross, everything was stuffed with cream cheese, I'm not sure why.

What comes to mind when anyone thinks of an Asian buffet? Steam tables and ice cream. Tokyo buffet has this. Food meter here is average. Service, average. Good news is 5 years after my last attempt here, sushi was added. Not a world beater in choice, but tasty and fresh. we would have enjoyed more Nigiri. Best thing, for $9.95 a person I can overlook the slights of the hot foods. The sushi is tasty. It is prepared fresh. A dollar coupon is offered. Take advantage. This small restaurant is very good for the price. Glad I gave up going to Formosa for this. Sushi is about the rice. The sushi rice beats Ichiban by far.

Bad. Everything is bad. I don't like buffet anyway but even by buffet standards, it is bad. Sushi is fresh but all rice, which is the good this because the fish and veggies are bad.

I have gone back a couple of times and I can report that the quality has improved somewhat. They are still a little slow to replenish some of the trays of food and they let a lot of the trays get cold. Know what you want and stick to it. They have a lot of food that is really crap and some that is OK and you have to experiment to distinguish the difference.

WOW! What a great restaurant! It's hard to believe how much VALUE you get for $10 for dinner (and $6 for lunch). My friends and I eat here all the time because of sushi and hibachi in additional to the standard Chinese food buffet. Hibachi is free for dinner, my favorite part of the restaurant is the sushi bar!! I cannot find a sushi bar at that price any where in Indianapolis let alone taste good and serves more than a California roll (sushi lovers, you know what I am talking about :)... I have said it before and I will say it again YOU CANNOT BEAT THE VALUE.. I eat here weekly, see u there!

I find this place to be an above average buffet. Food served is very fresh - the coconut shrimp is among my favorite. The sushi they serve is also above average for buffet sushi. Friendly staff.

They are getting better! New hibachi entree with every buffet is tasty. Even the kids ate 2 full plates. They have a little chocolate fountain for fondue now also! It's not a great value but it's a great dinner for sure!

Chinese Food is OK for Indianapolis standards. The sushi is pretty good and fresh, but limited selection available for buffet. The staff is friendly and prompt for table service. No crab legs and usually the kitchen won't replenish the food unless there's more people showing up. Not bad to for cheap price if you are expecting OK food.

The sushi bar is amazing! The rest of the food is pretty good as well. They could use a little more variety (they have the exact same stuff every time we go). The staff is always friendly and quick to give you refills and bring your check.

Love this place. The buffet is smaller that most Chinese buffets. I think this is awesome because the quality of food is so much better. The only thing missing is crab legs. However, the sushi there is fresh and amazing. It isn't the best sushi I have ever had BUT it is the best sushi I have ever had at a buffet. Between the sushi, the peanut butter chicken and the bourbon chicken I AM SOLD! Also they have $1 off coupons online :)

Sighhh, dim lighting and sushi buffets should not mix... We were hungry and specifically hungry for a place that did not serve ham after eating ham for a whole weekend. Since this location is also convenient, we made the stop on the way home. Sighhhhh, I should know better when I just can't identify what is offered on the sushi line due to dim lighting. All I could see is the eel on top which I like. I ended up eating the worst combination of foods possible in one bite: eel and banana roll. Banana AND eel! Ewwww!!! By the time I realized what is in my mouth...it was too late. I had to choke it down since it is also gross to spit out chewed food in the middle of a restaurant. The rest of the sushi offering did not even entice me to give it that dimly lit chance. And don't even try their tempura...even the poor lighting cannot mask the grease on those mushrooms. The rest of the buffet was just OK. There was one dish that tasted like a lightly coated chicken nugget, I actually liked it. So, unless you are desperate like us, don't stop here for sushi.
