Nice enough coffee shop in quaint Irvington neighborhood. A bit busy this afternoon, yet slow service seemed more attributable to poorly deployed workers. There appeared to be many, most doing little. That said, a nice place to meet for conversation, business or chillin'. Usual good quality quaffs.

I rate this Starbucks 3 stars instead of 5, because: -as another reviewer stated, this Starbucks tends to be consistently busy and loud on the inside. I would not recommend having a meeting, interview or phone call here. -the drive thru is very busy as well, and is one of the slower drive thrus I have used at a Starbucks -the staff is below average, and there seems to be a fair amount of attrition. I have received more wrong orders here than at other Starbucks It is clean on the inside, and has nice outdoor seating. The large windows to the South make the afternoon sunshine coming in nice.

Helpful, friendly, accommodating and attentive. Can count on being treated well ! On a side note, they REALLY need to get rid of those 2-3 steps outside their door. CRAZY !!! (And dangerous).

The staff is consistently quick, friendly, and funny at this Starbucks location, whether you are in the drive thru or dining inside. They are great at making recommendations and accommodating you. This is my favorite local Starbucks to hit up. My favorite drink to spam: Caramel Macchiato

I like this Starbucks a lot I mean there is actual parking here unlike a lot of other places. Plus Irvington rulesss not just because I work here but Irvington plus coffee equals greatness. The staff are really.good here to. The only problems I have are that it does get overly busy here in the inside so on a cold day there is no sitting. And my coffee does not always come out the best but everyone makes mistakes no big deal

It as a good Starbucks shop. The only thing I don't like about the place is that it gets busy most of the time. I would recommend you to come before 3 pm or after 6pm so you can find seats available.

Usually I'd say a Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks, but this is my office away from the office. I'm here several times a week and my experience is always great. The wi-fi is reliable and the service is always great. Bring your headphones though, the music isn't anything to write home to mom about.

Its early, I'm running late and need a coffee fix, so I usually go through the drive thru. Then they ask me what my plans are for the day, where I work, etc. A simple "how are you" is sufficient. I feel like I am verbally assaulted at times. Not to be rude, but just take my money and give me my coffee. I've resorted to acting like I'm on my cell to avoid this. I may have social issues, but can't be alone on this.

Starbucks-- Probably every location would get eaten alive on Yelp. Everyone wants to pretend they don't like it and everyone feels guilty for going there. As other people said, it brings comfort to the people who are afraid of things. They say ooooh Starbucks, this place must be okay. It's special like that. While I would prefer to go to a 'real' coffee house, I now have a child who strongly dislikes getting in and out of the car for no reason and the drive through where I can use an app that is connected to my debit card to pay is well, really freaking nice. My current issue with Starbucks (and specifically this location) follows: 1. Get highchairs. More than one preferred but one is just required. (this is not the only location that doesn't have highchairs and I'm sure A LOT of your business is from moms. Get with the program *yeah I said that*) 2. Get a changing table in your bathroom. I'm sure it doesn't cost much and since everyone is paying $4 and up for their latte, I think you'll survive. You know who won't survive? Me. If I have to change another diaper on my fabric car seat which just happens to be kinda small because I drive a compact car. Have you ever wrestled a 19 pound fish?

Starbucks can sometimes bring something to a community. When a neighborhood is struggling or staging a comeback, Starbucks can solidify things or help them along. It can be a harbinger for much needed gentrification, even when only a little gentrification is needed. That's why you get two stars instead of one. But really, why would anyone go to this Starbucks when Lazy Daze Coffee House (at 10 S. Johnson) is just around the corner??? Check it out: lazydazecoffeehouse.com Lazy Daze is the real deal: neighborhoody, local, laid back and cool. And just a short walk from Starbucks. To get there, walk out the Starbucks on Washington Street. Turn right. Walk exactly one block (past Jackamo's and Legend). At the light, turn left. You'll see Lazy Daze just as soon as you turn the corner.

It's a Starbucks. It has all the Starbucks-y things they all have. The employees are friendly enough without being in-your-face, for the most part. The product has always been consistent. Being behind the bus stop, while you wait for our wildly unpredictable bus system, you can wait inside here and be warm/cool in severe weather. The Starbucks also brings something to the neighborhood. That something that says to my dopey suburban friends and in-laws "You're ok here...it's safe to walk around." and I like that. Because as much as I love my charming eastside neighborhood, this is still "in the ghetto" to a lot of people. That Starbucks says "It's ok to bring the stroller down, have lunch at Dufour's, and shop at Homespun. We aren't as shiny and new as Carmel or Fishers, but we're still cute & stylish."

Decent Starbucks but definitely would be better if they had a staff that actually knew what they were doing and you didn't have to explain to them what kind of drink that you wanted....

As a general rule, I try not to write reviews for chains, but i make exceptions on occasion. This store seems to be investing in the community and is trying to find a balance of being a drive-thru and a destination. It's definitely an anchor for Irvington. Overall it's a pretty comfortable place to chill and enjoy free wi-fi. The demands of being a drive-thru store makes it so the baristas are not as friendly as I've seen in other stores. I wish Lazy Daze (or another indy coffee store) would get it's $#!+ together to be a real competitor to sbux in the area, but from what i've seen, that's not the case at this time. Coffee: standard starbucks Food: yes Vibe: standard starbucks WiFi: Yes. free. Plugs: Yes.

As others have indicated, it's a standby, Starbucks. The real challenge with this location is the locavore guilt you get when you could EASILY cross the street and have a brew at the Irvington original, LAZY DAZE.

It's a chain store coffee shop, you know what you are getting. This one closes waaaay too early for me to frequent it regularly. The staff is nice even though one girl sounds exactly like Edie McClurg from Planes Trains and Automobiles...every time she asks me through the intercom how she can help me, I want to launch into Steve Martin's bit from the movie. Gobble Gobble!!!

I go here when I'm too lazy to get out of the car with the baby. (Too bad Lazy Daze doesn't have a drive through.) The baristas here are always friendly but sometimes TOO friendly. I know they don't really care how my day is going or what I am up to that day. I especially dislike one particular girl at this location that talks in this high pitched, totally fake voice. Really annoying. If you aren't sincere, than at least be real.

Music was too loud, and French press too weak.

Why would you go to a chain with burnt-tasting coffee when a local business (Lazy Daze) is within walking distance?

This Starbucks is awesome! The baristas are fantastic and always are super friendly. I've gone through the drive thru several times on my way to work and they always brighten up my day.
