A classic example of a thriving Starbucks right beside a wonderful mom-n-pop. A keen-eyed fellow reviewer (NY T.) tells me that this particular Starbucks was actually there before the nearby coffeeshop (Bjava's) opened for business; but even so, my vote -- and my business -- go to the little guy (or "gal", as the case may be). But we have the power, people! Starbucks can only continue wiping out local flavor if we let it. The power is yours! My vote: Go to Bjava in the strip mall just to the south. Bjava not only has nice coffee and a friendly staff, but they roast their own beans right there on the premises. Stop in or pick some up to go. And shoot the bird at the Starbucks on the way out!

Starbucks serves its purpose when I am out of coffee at home, on my way to work, and need caffeine NOW. Since both the 16th St and 38th St locations were closed, my options are sparse. Usually I go to the 10th st location, but occassionally will make my way to this location at 56th and Lafayette. I don't like this Starbucks. It's small and the lay out is weird. It's just very uncomfortable. To top it off, the service I received here was the worst of any Starbucks I've been to. Not to mention, I immediately had buyers remorse when I got into my car and spotted the small mom-n-pop coffee shop in the strip mall next door. I will definitely be checking out the other place next time I need a coffee fix.

I go to this Starbucks because it's the closest to work. Service has improved over the past 18 months. The one time my drink was horrible, I drove back and they remade it for me and gave me a drink voucher for next time.

These guys are actually pretty good at taking orders and making drinks. I went in and asked for the crunchberry frappe. They not only knew what that was, but also made it without any fuss. I also got a half decent chai out of them... I'd still go someplace else for chai tho.... Otherwise the staff was very good, fast, and even the atmosphere was chill.

Driving home to South Bend after a day at Indy, I was parched. Seeing the friendly Starbucks logo at the off ramp I jumped off I65 with my mind set on a Grande VB Frapuccino. All I can say is that I finally found the world's worst Starbucks. Surly barristas who clearly did not enjoy being there. I brought in my empty coffee cup from the morning run only to find there wasn't even a trash can in the place. I had to dispose of it at the gas station next store. What clinched it for me was after making my way back onto I65, I reached for my drink, took a sip and got nothing but ice and air! They left out the liquid! The drink was nothing but whipped cream and crushed ice! I was frosted to say the least. How this place survived the downsizing is beyond me. Never again.

This is the closest Starbucks to my house. Unfortunately I don't venture here too often because of the poorly designed parking and drive through. However when I do happen to be on the correct side of the road and have a craving for a venti Hazelnut Macchiato I'll swing in. It's a smaller Starbucks, but they seem to get the crowd moving fairly quickly. There are several tables, but I think they should take over the bank next door and make it a large Starbucks lounge. I would love to bring my laptop and books and study away from home. :)

Worse place ever, worst workers, don't go here.. Think I grew like a hundred years here... I'm starting to think they dont believe in customer service. Who the hell manages this place anyways? Updateeeeeeeee: the look on the girl from the drive thru 3 27 15 had the look of someone that was f ing bored and had no interest of being there plus she had a slow reaction to her face

I visit this Starbucks location 1-2 times a week as it is on my way to work and convenient. They have recently remodeled the interior, but now seating is awkwardly arranged and crowded. 90% of the time my drinks and food orders are correct. The staff seems friendly but there are 1-2 workers that can be attitudinal. They never bother to ask my name or get to know me; however, I see others come in and they are very friendly. Good coffee and fairly quick. I'll keep coming in, but if I am out and about I prefer another Starbucks. 7/29/15: agree that this is the worst Starbucks I've been too. Customer service is ABSENT! The blond 50 something manager is horrible. I caught her talking about drive-thru customers in front of inside customers. She gave me no greeting at all...I'm talking no "good morning", "welcome to Starbucks"...nothing. I'm done with this location.

They are very busy in the mornings, but they get everyone through quickly. Even at 7am, they are very friendly to everyone in the middle of rush. Drinks are made correctly - unlike some other Starbucks around town. Even though I get off the interstate to get here, it is worth the extra minutes!

The best Starbucks in the city! I go about 3 or 4 times a week and I love everyone here. Their service is exceptional every single time I visit ! I live on the north east side but I only go to this one that is by my work because they are so friendly and awesome ! And the drinks always taste better, but it could be my biased taste buds ;)

After recently moving, it is my local Starbucks. It's a typical Starbucks atmosphere. I have been in several times and have always been greeted with a smile. My classic white mocha has always been made correctly and even stirred so all the flavoring isn't hanging out at the bottom of the glass. I pass three other Starbucks on my way to work but I will happily come back to this one.
