Healthy Meal suggestions for Ruby Tuesday

Went back to try the "NEW" Ruby Tuesday. Well it's the same Ruby Tuesday with less on the salad bar, the same cold low quality food and a sad staff. Saw the commercials with the new garlic biscuits. We got two half dollar sized, over cooked, dry biscuits for the table. The salad bar is now one of your sides if you want, but there is less on the bar to choose from. My fish was over cooked, peas over cooked, mashed potatoes cold. Steak lots of fat covered with an asiago cheese sauce. Baked potato hard, not fully cooked. We will not be going back. There was a Ruby Tuesday across the street quite a few years ago. It closed due to food quality and service. It is now CostCo. Can't wait for this Ruby Tuesday to close and become a place fit to eat.

Nice place to go after work to sit at the bar for a drink and a decent meal. The bartenders are always nice, attentive, and friendly. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.

I could have totally eaten Ruby Tuesday in CA but of course I never have. Took me a trip to Indy to eat in there. I was very pleased. I had the Chesepeak Catch. MMM MMM Good! It was tilapia, with a crab cake in some damn good sauce w/brown rice that had chopped up pieces of tomatoes and some broccoli. My bf had a good ole burger. We were very satisfied :)

We have dined at RT in the Pyramids area frequently over the years. The main reason for going it the salad bar, although the entrees and soups are nearly always excellent, as is the service. But as of June 7, 2012, we were disappointed by a sharp decline in the salad bar. It was still excellently maintained, but there was a drastic decrease in the ingredients offered. I was hunting for dark green vegetables and legumes. The only example of the latter was peas. No garbanzos, edamame, kidney (red) beans, etc. The only fruit, an apple salad, was in a mayo dressing. No scallions, no cauliflower, no more avocado dressing (that's been gone for a long time). In addition, service was poor, which is unusual for this place, which is usually friendly, prompt, and accurate. My soup and my wife's entree were fine.

Once you've been to one, you've been to 'em all, but this one sucked for more reasons than normal. 1)There was virtually no waiting area. There were chairs set off to the side in the walkway next to the salad bar, and only four of them and the entrance had two benches big enough for three people max on each. That was it. (The reason being a problem will show.) 2) They are severly short staffed in either the kitchen, with servers, and/or bussers. It took forever (10 minutes) to get drinks, it took about another 10 to take our order. It took another ten minutes to realize my glass had been empty for ten minutes and another ten minutes to get another drink. It took another 25 from when we ordered to get the food, but it did come out hot. When we decided to add something else to enjoy as well, that took another 25 minutes. Each table seemed to wait this long. On top of all that, their bussers were no where to be found. At first he cleaned off the three tables behind me of their plates, but didn't wipe them or take the trash. It took about a half hour to the busser to buss 3 tables. In the meantime, prime dinner wait time has started and people are upset because their five minute wait has turned into 25 minutes and their standing because there is no place to sit. 3) The servers are not professional. I don't mind if a server wants to hook me up with a discount or free desert, but don't ask me if I want to just include another persons full salad bar with my meal because it will be 2.99 vs 7.99. Just either say you're going to do it or don't do it because you've now put me in the position to say, "Yes, I'll steal from your employer by telling you to break some ethical rules." And where the hell were you to fill my drink that's been empty for 20 minutes? And how come there are no clean plates at the salad bar? And why do I have to sit next to unclean tables for a 1/2 hour? It's sad because this restaurant is only a couple years old, but they are run like a place that is pinching every penny, including getting more employees and cutting service, instead of an emphasis on service. What the owner of this restaurant doesn't get is that most people will pay for, and come back for, service. Eventually this location will run out of customers. I will not return to this location.

Decent experience. I stopped here as staying at a local hotel. Service was wonderful waitress very nice. Salad bar fresh and well stocked. I had the Asiago steak it was ok mashed potatoes lacked in appearance but tasted fine. Would I visit here again? Maybe.

Came here for salad bar. It was pretty fresh as always. Wish they would mix it up a bit. But I ordered the seafood trio came with TWO lobster tails, tilapia, shrimp. Well, I am not sure what happened to the lobster tail cause only the tails arrived. Literally there was only a few scraps of actual meet. I probably should have sent it back. It was very sad.

We went with friends after a day of swimming at the hotel/waterpark next door. We wanted something mostly healthy for dinner and within walking distance. Ruby Tuesday's fit the bill. The restaurant wasn't busy at all for 6pm on a Thursday. We were seated right away. Our waiter was very nice and made sure that we were well taken care of. He even thought to send the kids meals out first, while the adults were waiting on our entrees. They also gave us extra grapes and apples for the kids to snack on. It was a nice touch that definitely helped us out, as we had 3 tired and hungry kids at our table! The salad bar was pretty good. I was expecting more somehow, since it is such a heavily promoted feature. The entrees were also decent. My steak was a little fattier than I expected, but overall, I wasn't disappointed. I had a bad experience at Ruby Tuesday's several years ago - before they revamped their image. This visit turned my opinion of them around. It's not on my short list of favorite places to go, but it's definitely a solid choice.

Stopped here on the way home from Dayton around 7:30 on a Thursday night. The service was wonderful and everyone was friendly (and funny too!) The food was better than we've had at other Ruby Tuesday chains before too! The steak was better than the steakhouse down the street!

Had a good dinner while traveling. I have to commend Ruby Tuesday's on their training program. Each time we visit a location the service is spot on. Food is pretty good. Had something interesting happen here on our visit. We were traveling from Texas to Michigan and the server ascertained we were just passing through, her next question caught both my wife and myself offguard. She said, "oh, your going visit family? GRANDBABIES?, we are just reaching 50 and we don't have kids and nevery thought of ourselves as Grandparents. We have been having a good laugh at that one.

First time back in Ruby Tuesday's in several months and will not be returning. Salad bar is the primary reason for going and there is just not much selection on it anymore. Waiter was somewhat rude and seemed more interested in watching the noon day news on the bar tv than taking care of us. Also $13 for a sub par salad bar was the final straw for me

I go for the salad bar. It's always super fresh and filling with so many fun and healthy salad toppings. I also really like that some of the main entrees come with the salad bar as one of the sides. Not all of them do, but I consider a huge added bonus. I also love the grilled zucchini and they also now have spaghetti squash as a side as well. So good and so healthy!

I sat at the bar and the service was fine. After eating and having a few drinks i asked for the catering menu, something I've done multiple times a year for the last 5-6 years at this same place. I was told they didn't have one so they printed me one from their website and directed me to call an 800 number if i had questions and to order. Of course i said I'm sitting right here and would like to order, they still referred me to an 800 number. It would be nice if all business we're doing so we'll they could brush off a $200 order. It's obvious they've had a change in management and not for the better, I'll be catering from somewhere else from now on as they apparently don't need my business!

First of all when we got their the hostess told us he didn't care for the waitress that was going to serve. We sat down for over ten minutes, and still was not offered a drink.
