I took my mother here for her birthday.. WORST DECISION EVER! I rold the hostess I had six people in my party. I asked her if she needed a name to go with the party,, but she said no. That immediately sent up a red flag. We aat and waited for about 20 mins and we noticed that people who came after us with larger parties were being seated before us. I went to talk to the hostess and ask why this was happening. Her response: "A server came up and chose their party instead." Understandably I was upset. I told her that was not a sufficient reason and I wanted to speak with the manager. The manager came, I told her the situation, she looked at the computer and said the party that was seated was listed before mine. I told her they came after us and the hostess didn't take my name. The hostess then proceeded to lie and say no she did take my name. This is an extremely unprofessional staff working here. I will not come here anymore and I will tell everyone I know about my experience.

4:30 on Sunday arrival 20+ open tables told a 30 plus minute wait. Spoke with Lee told it would be less than 15. Well see how it goes

Red Lobster-- wonderful seafood! Of course, many have tried RL and the main themes of RL are still very true, great quality seafood at a very good price. So many of the items are good on their menu. I love the wood-grilled garlic shrimp-- very decadent-- similiar to grilling shrimp scampi-- please give these a try. Breaded shrimp are perfectly fried, as are many of the breaded fish dishes. As a good friend described Red Lobster-- I don't think you can go wrong here as long as you get seafood :) I especially love the 38th street location-- I guess all the surburbanites believe in not eating at restaurants "inside 465" here in the Indy area, and that's fine by me! This location is the least crowded, and arguably the best decorated restaurant-- at one time this was an oriental restaurant (China Coast I believe), and the dark lacquered wood combined with a wrap around porch gives the place a rich, substantial feel. A great hidden secret if someone is looking for last minute sit down dining options.

the food is just as good as at any other red lobster (which has been one of my favorite restaurants since i was very very young...maybe 3) but the staff is great. although, i am biased as i used to work here so i know that even the guys/gals back in the kitchen are good! even though i no longer work there, i do still go & eat!

I stopped here for dinner during a long drive one night and was pleased with my experience. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and offered me plenty of good conversation. My food was delicious, I had a chicken pasta dish with the biscuits and a starter salad. In my eyes the place mostly deserves a nice rating because of how friendly the staff was. If I were in the area again I wouldn't mind stopping here.

Went there this past Sat 2/11 with the family. All of ordered from their present $15 full course meal selection. I had the pasta dish, my dad had the talipa and my sister had the battered shrimp. Each of us brought home food as we couldn't eat it all there. All the meals were well done and tasty. Our sever was on the spot all the time and the place was packed as we had to wait about 15 minutes and we were there around 6:30pm. For the $15 you got a salad, soup, meal and dessert and those wonderful biscuits. Again RL comes through with a great meal and a great price.

I'm not sure why people rate this place low. This Red Lobster is perfectly fine. The whole stigma of don't go to 38th street is completely overrated. The food was great, as good as any other red lobster I've been to, drinks were good, and my server was super nice and made recommendations to us to help us save money which I really appreciated. This location is top notch. I wish they would put tables outside because they have a beautiful deck that would be perfect for outdoor dining.

The food here is gourmet. It can seem a little pricey, but it's worth it when considered alongside the standout service and upscale ambience. Everyone is so friendly and attentive, and really seem to care for the customers. We were put in our own recessed corner that afforded some appreciated privacy. We almost felt we had the place to ourselves, and the service we received from the waitress sure made it seem that way. Compliments to the interesting and authentic New England style decor. To sum up the food in a few words: flavorful and expertly prepared. To sum up everything else: exceptional. This area has seen better days, but Red Lobster is still the standout eatery for miles.

I'm a mixed bag of emotions, right now. Hear me out. I love me some red lobster. Chain or no chain, I'm a big fan. The food this evening was one of the best red lobster meals I've had in a while. Good day for them, right? Here's the thing: the tables were sticky. I know, not much to write about. But they were really sticky. True story, I put my arms down on the table and it pulled on my skin as I lifted them up. The table exfoliated my arm... Which was less than appetizing. Even the "daily specials" paper didn't escape the table's lustful clutches. I picked it up and part of the paper ripped off (I kid you not) and is still stick to the tabletop. So the food was great, service was good, but the cleanliness was sub par (obviously). And hey, maybe that was a bad table day for them. Maybe the regular cleaning guy grabbed a bottle of Elmer's on accident. I'll go back for some more of that sweet scampi goodness, but I'll definitely sit somewhere else. Hopefully.

We received a gift card to Red Lobster from friends (thanks, Ronee B!) and decided to hit it up one Friday evening. I was surprised to see how empty the restaurant was at 6:30 p.m. We were seated by the bar, which was kind of annoying. I mean, I had no idea that people hung out at the Red Lobster bar! It was somewhat difficult to find a healthy-ish menu option. I thought that they had low-cal items for some reason. I ended up with a shrimp and crab dish that was part of the crabfest menu and my husband ordered the crab legs. All in all, service was good; different servers stopped by throughout dinner to refill our drinks, which was nice.
