Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Thoroughly unimpressed. 90 minutes for delivery on a Tuesday. Pizza had to be microwaved because it was cold and we were starving. Granted, I was informed it would take 90 minutes -- AFTER I placed my order. WTH? The pizza was really doughy as were the pizza rolls we got with our order. Plus the corner pieces were about 2/3 plain crust. Yeah, won't be ordering again.

Ok worst Pizza Hut ever! Ordered online to be ready at 7:58 pm and its 8:35 pm still not ready! No one at the counter in site to complain to and plenty of people waiting to place a order or pick up carry out. Many were standing around complaining too. Totally going to boycott this place for a while. Only reason I go here was for the stuff crust pizza. Gonna give up Pizza Hut for a while. They didn't apologized, didn't even bother to give me a credit. Worst customer service ever. I hate giving one stars but this is just ridiculous how long I have to wait for pizza I placed online.

Took 45 minutes for them to make us two pizzas. The lady at the register was on her phone while taking our order, and that was about the only service we received. I will never go back to this Pizza Hut, and I will tell my children and grandchildren the same. I don't know if I'll ever recover from this appalling experience.

My experience with this Pizza Hut was less than delightful. When I called to order for delivery I had to wait at least five minutes until someone could get my order. I then waited another five minutes because the first employee I talked to did not know how to handle a delivery call. When I finally placed my order at 6:30 PM they said it would be delivered around 8:30 PM. A two hour delivery time? I don't think so. They hung up before I could ask why it would take so long. So I called back and by this time was already fed up so I told them I would just do carry-out. They said my large stuffed crust cheese pizza would be ready by around 6:45 PM. I waited about 10 minutes and then drove to the Pizza Hut which isn't even 5 minutes from my apartment. I went in and the tables were disgusting and had trash on them. I then waited at the buffet area by the registers and was not even acknowledged. Two costumers came in after me and got their food before me. This was very upsetting so I just went straight to the register. The front counter was littered with about fifty receipts and other documents. That clearly does not scream professional. Finally after about 5 minutes someone came up and asked what I needed. I said I was there to pick up my carry-out order. They then informed me it would still be about 5-10 minutes. Keep in mind I had only ordered a large stuffed crust cheese pizza. So I sat down in one of the cleanest booths in the restaurant, mind you it still had dirty napkins covering its top. I waited for another 10 minutes and finally was handed my pizza without a single word. No thank you, have a nice day, absolutely nothing. The costumer service here was horrific and the cleanliness of the place was close to extinct. From the front registers you can clearly see the back kitchen and there were dirty pans every where, ingredients that had been spilled, and delivery workers who were chowing down themselves on some pizza, WHILE filling orders. GROSS. I will never again visit this particular Pizza Hut.

Called ahead to order was put on hold and told one customer was ahead of me. I drove from Whitestown to Indy (20 Minutes) and the call was never picked up. I then decided to just come to the store, I entered the store placed and order and the cashier could not get the Credit Card to read. He stated the manager could take care of this when she gets off the phone. He also stated my order was placed and would be ready. I waited 26 minutes and came back to the front to find my oder had not been processed. The manager apologized and stated she would get it made. She then went outside the store and was talking with a friend and never made my pizza. I live within walking distance to this store and love Pizza Hut pizza. However I will never return, there to many choices for pizza within walking distance. I don't this this store will be open in the year.

Waited almost 2 hours (1:50 minutes) for delivery. Ordered at 8:20pm. Called at 9:37pm and waited for 7 minutes and was told the pizza went out at 9:12 and would be hot. It arrived at 9:51pm. When the delivery man arrived, the pizza measured 98F on an electronic kitchen thermometer. I called to report this and waited 7 minutes and was hung up on. Called again and waited 7 minutes. They refunded my money but delivery man insisted I send the pizza back. This was unprofessional, unacceptable and poor service. Do NOT order delivery from this Pizza Hut.

1st to review? I have to jump on it! It was a cold snow day in Indianapolis and we were fresh out of French Toast. It was Pizza time. We were NOT going to make a driver come out in subzero temperatures to bring us dinner. We got carry out and it was worth it. The Pizza Hut app allows you to order ahead and pick up a fresh hot pizza at a precise time. I was so thankful to have something other than "pantry clean up week" food. Thank you Hut of Pizza, thank you. Quick Tips: * Sign up for the email list. We used a 50% coupon with our order.

My first experience with this location I ordered online and was called back and told they couldn't deliver my order because they only had one driver. I gave them a second chance tonight and, when all the other pizza places in the area have a delivery time of 30-40 minutes, I was given an hour and a half wait time. I could carry it out quicker than that! I chalked the original issue up to being a new store, but this place has been around too long to still have this many problems. I guess I won't be eating Pizza Hut again. Thankfully there are so many other pizza options a block away.

Ordering pizza because I'm too tired to cook and study...so...they (Marissa) were SUPER NICE on the phone. I opted for carryout since I was around the corner. I went with the specials. My pizza was ready right around the quoted time. I arrived early and the restaurant is very clean. The cleanest pizza place I've seen in a long time. I haven't been this happy with pizza hut in...ever. never will I ever go back to the one near my house (cough, broad ripple). So, absolutely nice & clean & perfect pizza.

Called for delivery at 7 pm and was told would be delivered at 8:45. After calling and checking in at 9:10 pm and told it would be delivered soon. It was finally delivered at 10 pm. Pizza was cold. Breadsticks were overcooked. And the Pepsi was warm.... Clearly it had been sitting out for awhile. Not impressed and not worth the money.

I went in during lunch time. No server acknowledged me so I went to Panda Express right across from it. There were hardly any people in there during what should be their busy time. Maybe if they changed to "Pizza Hut Express" then I wouldn't expect a restaurant experience when I walk in.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
