Would give a zero star if it was an option. I attempted to stop for a late dinner with my out of town family last night. The hours posted on the door said they were open until 10. We arrived at 9:10. We were "greeted" by an aggressive young female employee behind the counter who asked/demanded to know if we intended to order food. Well, yes. She informed us the were out of all soups, paninis, and something else I can't recall. We asked what was available and she said sandwiches and salads. Problems with this interaction: 1. It was 50 minutes before closing of a fast food restaurant. They were "out" of whole categories of their menu which tells me that someone had already dumped and cleaned the soup station and panini press and didn't want to dirty it. 2. There was no apology for number 1. In fact, I felt a bit like we were imposing on her for even looking at said categories. 3. As the kitchen door swung open and closed, we saw an employee dining happily on something that looked delicious at a food prep station right inside the kitchen. Maybe they ate all the soup and paninis.

Stopped here for a bite after having some labwork done. I ordered my usual, an asiago bagel toasted with butter. The bagel was cold and barely toasted, and the butter was rock hard. Due to a knee injury, I was more focused on getting my food safely to the table. By the time I noticed the sad state of the bagel, it seemed like too much effort to take it back to the counter. It was pretty busy but there seemed to be plenty of people camped out on their laptops, but that's a general problem with all Panera locations.

We never go to Panera, but I had a cash back deal from PNC, so we decided to stop by for a light dinner one evening. I chose the You Pick 2 with Thai Chicken Salad, and Chicken Noodle Soup. I was excited to get a multi grain baguette (because they are my FAVORITE kind!) And the cashier said "We don't have multi grain baguettes." NO MORE MULTI GRAIN BAGUETTES!? What the heck, Panera!?!? The food was average at best...perhaps a little below average. It was a nice environment - very casual...but I can't imagine making Panera a regular stop, especially after today.

Sure, it's got the great items we all love, BUT! at this location--being right by Brebeuf Private School-- my favorite cookie is always sold out if I visit after school has let out. Also, this location seems to be slower than most others I've visited. Not sure why.

Had a you pick two with broccoli cheddar soup and a customized Caesar salad. Ordering was done online. Ready as promised. Hot soup, cold salad. The order was as requested though skimpy on the cheese on salad. Everything else was good- well executed and thought out. Napkins, spoon, fork, knife and plenty of dressing accompanied the order. Much better than my last trip here. Overheard the staff being much more customer-appreciative, also! Good job!

Ok... hopefully someone from corporate reads these reviews. Let's start with the breakfast. It's 10 am and they only have 3 bagle types left.... what? Horrible planning . They tell me I can wait 15 min until more are done cooking. Wait 15 min for a bagle I don't think so. Instead I opt for a coffee only. Now the employees. ... they are obnoxious. Seriously the loudest people I've ever encountered. I wish I could upload a video of these animals. The manager is in on the hooting and laughing. This isn't like making the atmosphere fun like I have seen before. This is them making noises to each other then laughing and talking about some party they all went to. Loud like so damn loud I'm typing this while I sit here because I'm so angry. There is a really big girl working the register who is like the sound queen of the whole place.... talking to herself in a whole new decibel level of weirdness. The manager just laughs from a distance either at her or with her I can't quite tell. This is the worst Panera experience I've ever had!!!

Fontina grilled cheese on whole grain bread is one of my favorites, and yeah, today I did indulge in a frosted cookie. The friendly employee offered a 99¢ bakery treat soooooo nicely that I couldn't refuse, right? (Who am I kidding? I was craving a delicious Panera cookie) This location was very busy and rather chaotic today at lunch. I had planned time for a relaxing lunch in my busy day today but quickly observed that it wasn't going to happen here. So I took my meal "to go" instead. It was rather disorganized in the restaurant. Many customers were waiting for food, other customers were walking around carrying their food looking for tables, and a couple of harried-looking employees were running around carrying food, attempting to find people whose names had been called but hadn't picked it up. Because it was so noisy quite a few people were standing in the pick-up area so they could hear names being called. Several were holding partial orders while waiting for other items. There were so many bowls of soup being carried that I was afraid someone would be wearing soup before the mad lunch rush was over.

I have to say there their service is generally SO great and oh so friendly!! and the sandwiches - Frontega Chicken is fantastic salads have such great mix of flavors and textures - love apple walnut salad and most soups are pretty good, too!! And if you want a warm your belly guilty pleasure, you must have some mac and cheese!! YUM! and though I try not to indulge too often, the bakery is full of many more guilty pleasures! ALWAYS a great treat to stop in for a wonderful and great value of a lunch here!

I mean yeah, its like every other Panera, just fabulous. Just wanted to comment that the girl who took my order was super nice and had great customer service skills. I tried the tomato mozzarella panini for the first time. It was perfect on a chilly fall day, loved it!

Good place for healthy (or healthier) fast food. The salads are ok. I really enjoy their sandwiches, pastries and hot chocolate. It's tough to get a table for lunch. You are better off eating here for dinner or a late lunch. Their WiFi connection depends on how many customers are using at one time. If the place is empty, you're in good shape. If a lot of people are working online, the connection can be spotty at times. The staff is very friendly. They could do a better job wiping down the tables though. I understand that this could be difficult because so many patrons are arriving and leaving. However, as a customer with a laptop, you don't want to have to worry about setting your laptop on a table with the remnants of someone else's lunch.

Although it is a chain, they do a heckuva job on freshness. Everything is made to order, except the meats, which are precooked and refrigerated. No frozen or rehydrated produce here. And since their produce is fresh, most of their items are seasonal, like my favorite strawberry chicken salad in the summer. Fresh strawberries, blueberries, (canned pineapple and mandarin oranges), pecans, grilled chicken (refrigerated), on a bed of chopped romaine with poppy seed dressing makes me look forward to summer. I actually appreciate a menu that is reflective of the produce of the season. Their pumpkin products in fall and their selection of soups are fantastic. All the breads are baked in house at each store as well, even if the dough may be made somewhere else. Panera has recently bought Paradise Bakery and a lot of Panera's sandwiches have shown on up their menu, but not too much from Paradise has gone the other way. Their strawberry smoothie is pretty good, and they use organic yogurt in it, however, it seems a disconnect to have fresh strawberries for your salads, but use a frozen concentrate with no semblance of strawberries for your smoothie. Seems like it would be a no-brainer to ditch the concentrate.

Went in today to get lunch to go- the girl behind the counter looked like she just dragged herself out of the trash and not happy to be at work (maybe bad day). Normally when I go in- their employees look very sharp and happy to be there. Food was very good- but the girls weren't wearing anything on their heads.

Panera hiked ots prices this week about 10% for coffee and selected items. The wi-fi internet connection is always very slow, They may as well convert to a slo-fi hipster dialup coffee shop motif on that tack. Other than that, this is a good hang-out and the black been soup is always good as is the broccoli cheddar.

Excellent. It lives up to the good standards that a Panara should! You get what you expect here!

I'm giving this Panera 5 stars based on the service we received. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door with a cranky 2 year old. I got my go-to, soup in a bread bowl. The wifey got a salad. The toddler got a turkey sandwich kids meal. They were out of the kids yogurt, but the wonderful person working saved the day by offering her vanilla yogurt. She even added some strawberries on top for no charge. Toddler tantrum avoided! Thank you Panera!

Redundant. I walk in, step near the counter, and the girl at the register snaps "Waddya having?" Me...ummmm, thinking....sheesh, I don't know, blueberry scone, cinnamon scone, pecan roll, cherry tart...just the first thing I see (having just been ambushed). Again ... "Whaddya having?" Guy behind the counter to me: "What are you having?" Me..."Pecan roll, blueberry scone, cinnamon scone, cherry tart and bacon spinach souffle." (just saw the souffle and made a snap decision - good on me). Him: "Is that for here or to go?" Me: "To go, I'm not eating all that here." Girl behind the counter: "What are you having?" Me - repeat. Girl behind the counter (keep in mind, those behind the counter are only 3 feet away from each other): "Is that for here or to go?" My God - I got like 8 questions in 2 minutes - and all but one were redundant. The whole experience felt like fingernails on chalkboard.

Most fast food experiences are dull and unimpressive, but I received the best of Midwestern hospitality when i visited a Panera Bread for the first time. the cashiers were really sweet and helpful in assisting me with a menu that i have never seen before. Very eager to help, very impressive.

My first time at this location and it was pretty good. I came in during breakfast, around 10am. It was busy but there were still plenty of seats. Minimal available outlets would be my only con here. I ordered a Turkey sausage, egg white, spinach sandwich and a chai latte. The Batista made a little too much of my chai, so she gave me a size up at no additional charge. Def a plus! Especially since I love chai. They were out of the normal flat bagels for my sandwich but asked I'd they could sub an oat bagel, which was fine with me. I stayed in and worked for a few hrs so it wasn't long before I gained access to an outlet for my laptop. Also signed up for My Panera and got a free baked good. Overall, nice, clean location with good customer SVC.

A 3 is probably a bit generous. A 2 might be too low. Because, to me, this place just screams "average". The food, the service, the prices, everything about it average. I had an Italian type sandwich, and there was nothing bad about it, there just wasn't anything especially good about it. For my side, I had turkey chili, and it was steaming hot in temperature, but seriously lacking in spices. I found it quite bland. The one redeeming feature is that it's night, bright, open and airy in there...it just feels "comfortable". But the food certainly left me wanting something more.

standard panera bread at a decent location. there is nothing too memorable about this place like any other chain. however, people are nice and the service was lightening fast. i like the outdoor seating and their dining room is pretty big too.
