Panera Bread is one of the few restaurant chains I'll always love. The quality is pretty high and the taste is great. The restaurants are always comfortable and cozy with indoor and outdoor seating. I'm always a big fan of sitting outside at this location when it's nice out. The menu is very solid. Great sandwiches, quality salads, good soups, and baked goods that really aren't half bad. If it's on the menu/in season I'd strongly recommend the strawberry poppyseed & chicken salad ... it's absolutely perfect. As far as sandwiches go, I'm a big fan of the Turkey Bacon Bravo. The location is good, near a shopping center with a Target and a movie theater, so you have something to do before and after lunch. The free Wi-Fi is also a nice feature. This is definitely a nice place to grab lunch when you're out and about in the area. Enjoy.

You gotta love Panera. Free wifi, super smiley and friendly staff, and free cookies on the hour. This is, without a doubt, the best chain restaurant in America. Swoon!

A couple of us needed a place where we could have a cupa while we revisited topics introduced at a recent meeting. I suggested Panera Bread at Glendale for its location and design. We met Tuesday just after 4 PM. I had Vegetarian Autumn Squash Soup. There was no dark roast coffee. The young ladies who took and filled my order were pleasant and engaged. The dining area was clean and conducive to a quiet discussion. The busser said employees were treated well and liked to work there. All in all a really pleasant and productive experience.

Stopped in for lunch- a pick two selection (soup and salad) and then a full sized sandwich. Took awhile to place our order as it seemed that one employee was working on a large take out; would be nice if there was some sort of kiosk to place your own order as during the lunch hour, waiting ten minutes to order makes this a non starter. Tried to get the seasonal cookie for the special price of 99 cents but was shut down because we didn't order a drink.

Panera is a must for affordable & delicious food choices! Whether you may be a regular, or have never had Panera Bread before, you absolutely must go and try their foods! Panera offers many different, and unique options to the customer. The best part is that there is a bakery & regular menu of sandwiches, salads, soups, etc. Although, I highly recommend trying our their bagels & bakery items because they are to DIE FOR! Panera is very convenient to anyone because of the many locations nation-wide, and they always seem to be in a very close radius of one and another. I absolutely love going and sitting down in Panera because the environment is great! The employees are very sweet, they offer free wifi, have delicious food, and you can basically get as much work done there as possible! Not to mention, their prices are great! As a college student, I obviously look for the best prices & most affordable meals when I choose to eat out! Also, Panera is open all year-round which is very convenient, and personally, my favorite time to go is around winter time because of the "Jazzy-like" environment I highly recommend Panera to anyone, because there is always one around the corner & they offer a great menu & bakery options! If you're a bakery junky like myself, you definitely need some Panera in your life!!

They sold me expired cream cheese. A whole tub of it. Not cool. I called and shared the news w/the manager, Ashley, and she didn't seem surprised. I'm fairly certain her response was something like "Yeah, that happens with the veggie and the chive cream cheeses. We don't sell enough of them." Not acceptable. If it doesn't sell, get it off the shelves. Don't hang on to it. I inquired about a refund or replacement and was told (with no apology, mind you) that I could bring it back and they could refund it. Or, if I wanted to stop in sometime w/the receipt they could give me another one. I asked what their plans were to make sure this didn't continue to happen, and the manager told me they'll probably just stop selling it. I'm kind of bummed because I actually really like the veggie cream cheese....when it's not expired.

The strawberry summer salad with chicken I had was amazing. I can't go wrong with the chocolate chip cookie and some iced tea. This is a good lunch spot if you're working around the Keystone are and you want something relatively cheap and healthy.

I love Panera, crave it all the time. What do they put in that Broc soup? Tear up a baguette (if your lucky its warm out of the oven) but it in the soup and heaven! Love the smoothies too. Thanks for the calorie information too!

If you have somehow never tried Panera Bread, escape from under the rock you've been living and get there. I particularly like going there when it's cold, because they always have excellent soups. All of their food is fresh and tasty, though, and you can't beat their salads for a healthy drive thru meal. I will say that the drive thru isn't super-fast, but it really couldn't be since everything is made-to-order. It's also a good place to grab some coffee or tea and chitchat.

Fresh salads, soups and bread, and not too expensive. But every time we want to go on the weekend (we're late eaters), it's closed. And there are usually other disgruntled people clamoring to get in, too. Stay open later than 9 p.m., Panera!

I love that this Panera is a drive thru! I have always had great service.

Solid. I have not had a mealy apple from panera yet-- and I want to really emphasize that a mealy apple is and always will be a deal breaker for me. That stated, it's a nice little soup and sandwich place. Vegan friendly, but you generally have to do the old hold-and-swap routine. The staff remade my sandwich, no questions asked, when I forgot to hold one thing. Instant vegan order: From the pick two menu: 1/2 Mediterranean sandwich (hold the feta, swap tomato bread for whole grain), 1/2 veg soup (hold the pesto) and an apple.

I was always willing to wait in a long drive thru line to get freshly made food as Panera as always gloated about. I was there last week and requested extra dressing on my sandwich and the rude woman taking my order informed me that all the sandwiches are pre-made and reheated. I was in shock! How could this be, and furthermore, why the hell does it take 20 minutes to get throguh the drive thru if everything is pre-made?! The food is acceptable and the prices are decent, I was just a little disappointed with the attitude of the woman taking my order and feeling very misled by the "fresh" food promise.

I am a fan of Panera and frequent the Michigan and 86th street shop. This was my last trip to the Glendale mall, however. I am usually not an overly fussy customer, and have never had a bad experience at any other Panera. But each time I come to this location, I leave unsatisfied. After burning my bagel [which they gladly replaced], I went through two remakings of my latte. A plain latte nothing fancy but each time it was bitter and burned. The assistant manager, was rude. She snapped about the fact that they always use two shots of espresso--this did not account for the fact that I asked for only one shot [which was told to her by the cashier] and it doesn't account for the fact that the latte was really bitter [a dirty machine?]. The cashier was nice and efficient but the assistant manager... wow! The wifi is awful at least for macbook users [I am running the latest version of leopard on an aluminum macbook--this is the only place that I have ever had problems with my wifi]. Additionally, there is no warning on the door or anywhere else that you only have 30 minutes of wifi from 11:30 to 1:30--which is fine but let me know before I set up for a few hours of work. If you need a quick bite to eat go ahead and stop in, but be warned--service is mixed and the lattes are terrible.

The coffee is consistantly cold and expensive. Also, the protion sizes change based on all the turn over behind the counter.

This was my Sunday-morning-hangover stop of choice in college, as it was the only place we could get hangover-curing vegan food for my roommate/best friend. Panera still gets bonus points for being vegan friendly, and the black bean soup in a sourdough bread bowl really will do the job. For the carnivores amongst us, there's meaty salads and soups, although the vegetarian stuff is just good. Actually, there's a lot I love about Panera. The salads, the soups in bread bowls, the lemonade, and asiago bagels with cream cheese. I wish I still lived within walking distance of one. Then again, maybe I don't--while it is relatively cheap (and decently healthy), all that adds up. Vegetarians and vegans, give it a try on a foggy Sunday morning.

It is a Panera Bread - the food and drink should taste the same anywhere in the US. I frequent this Panera location. Here are some reasons why I keep going back to this particular Panera: 1. My Panera Card that keeps giving me free coffee or free bagel. I am super excited if I have a free latte or free Pick 2 or free Breakfast Sandwich... Their rewards card is awesome, and it is FREE!!! 2. Convenient location for coffee and breakfast. I know there is Starbucks coffee inside the Target store nearby. Unfortunately, Target's Starbucks often messes up the taste of their brewed coffee. Plus, I do not like to drive to Starbucks in Broad Ripple or further north on Keystone to just get a cup of coffee. Panera coffee is good enough for me 3. Drive-thru - I love the fact they have a drive thru for my lazy day. Although sometime the service is very slow. One time there was a lady in the car in front of me who ordered almost $50 worth of meal (i could see the price from the screen by the drive thru window. Maybe for a family dinner?) at the drive-thru. I had to wait for a long time for a cup of coffee... :-( I personally do not like dining in at this location. It is not well ventilated and I often smell the burning bagels or bread. During lunch hour, it is always hard to find a place to sit down, let alone order the food. Also in the morning, there is usually only 1 person at the register and the line can be pretty long. They need to improve the speed of the service and the quality of their customer service. The food is OK, though sometime the turkey sandwich is too salty for me. It is quite pricey, especially if you order their Signature sandwich.

I am somewhat predisposed to turn my nose up at Panera Bread. Something about its corporate image turns me off, and let's face it -- there are plenty of independent salad/soup/sandwich places in town with better fare. But you know, when it gets right down to it, it's an efficient, dependable operation, and the soup is really pretty darn good. This particular location has convenient parking and sprawling, somehow more homey, layout than others I have visited.

This was probably the best drive thru experience I've ever had at a Panera. They were super helpful friendly & quick the only negative was I had to repeat my order and all I ordered were two of the exact same salad.

I love this Panera!! The menu options are awesome and the staff is friendly and professional. Looking forward to meeting friends here for breakfast soon and to exploring more of their menu.

Cinnamon Crunch bagel with hazelnut cream cheese with a piping hot cup of joe - hazelnut flavored of course. My absolute go to when I stop in at Panera. Panera is a very convenient stop for me. I am able to get me work done with the free wifi, eat delicious food, and basically hook up an IV that infinitely caffeinates me. My go to lunch is the choose two: broccoli cheddar soup (large chunks of broccoli simmered in a velvety smooth cheese sauce - try it in the bread bowl. NOM.) and the Asian Sesame Chicken Salad (chicken, romaine lettuce, fresh cilantro, sliced almonds, sesame seeds and crispy wonton strips with Asian sesame vinaigrette - it's da bomb). Thanks Panera for being great. Until I try something new...over and out.

Would you like to be ignored for 10 minutes while you stand there waiting to order a bagel at 8:30 a.m. on a weekday? And when you finally catch the eye of an employee, would you like to have them sigh and roll their eyes and still not take your order? Then this is the Panera Bread location for you! I'm not a high-maintenance girl. I understand places get busy. I don't mind waiting a few minutes to order. I DO mind when businesses act like my mere presence in their establishment is a huge inconvenience. So sorry I wanted to spend some money here!

Not liking how Paradise and Panera are merging. They each had their delicious unique items. Im in love with their Fontina Grilled Cheese though! Drive thru service is quicker and friendlier than dine-in service, which is intetesting.

Unfortunately it is IMPOSSIBLE to stop for coffee and a chance to peek at e-mail without having a cookie or pastry. The oatmeal cookies rock as do the chocolate chip. Surely something this good isn't calorie loaded....(ignorance is bliss)

I don't make frequenting chains a habit. But this location is on my way to work and it has a DRIVE-THRU! The service is fast & friendly. You can get nearly every espresso drink made at Starbucks, for a few less bucks. It usually takes me less than 5 minutes to go through their drive-thru. They never make me late for work! I'm vegan and I often ask for 2 sides of their house-made Cilantro Hummus with my bagel, instead of cream cheese. If I'm getting lunch, the Black Bean soup or Mediterranean Veggie sandwich without feta are both vegan. Tim at Panera deserves several high-fives and probably a promotion. I hope for your sake that he is working when you visit. He knows my name & my order by heart. He's ALWAYS in a good mood, no matter how early the hour. Tim, you rule! Keep up the good customer service. As a store manager, I know how hard it is to find employees who are good at interacting with customers, and that's what brings people back. Keep this guy around, Panera. He knows what's up.

Service here runs hot and cold. Sorta like the soup versus the salad. Other than spotty service, it's a handy location and preferable to the nearby fast fast-food joints. At the end of the day, it's Panera: soup, salad, sandwich, drinks, desserts. You know the drill.

Stopped here for lunch today after shopping at Target and Staples. I love that it has a drive through. Today's lunch was the Soup and 1/2 Sandwich. Panera's Chicken Noodle Soup is so good and lowfat. For my 1/2 sandwich, I had the Tuna...a little too mayonnaisy for my taste. Next time I'll try the turkey.
