Amazing breakfast sandwich! I ate here for the first time today and ordered the egg sandwich with pesto, mozzarella, and sun-dried tomatoes on a bagel. Awesome flavor. It came with a great bowl of fresh fruit. Well priced at $6.99. Service was good too. I will go back soon.

There are times that you go to the right place at the wrong time. Today, was one of those times for me as I visited my neighborhood Lincoln Square Pancake House before getting ready to hit downtown to Comic-Con. I've been to multiple Lincoln Square locations and I consider myself a fan of the always friendly, fairly tasty, and affordable Central Indiana chain of 9 restaurants. While I might have a hard time stretching Lincoln Square to anything resembling a five-star experience, it's nearly always a four-star experience mostly due to their comfortable, customer friendly approach. So, why a 3 star experience today? First off, I will acknowledge that this particular location is my least favorite despite being the most convenient to my home. I've been here a handful of times and, quite honestly, I just always find the experience to be a tad off (with the exception of one visit that was exceptional). The first problem lies in something over which Lincoln Square has little control, other than the fact that they intentionally chose the location. This particular location is located in a small strip center that is clearly not a wheelchair friendly building. While an effort has obviously been made to increase its wheelchair/mobility friendliness, it's woefully lacking. There's only 3-4 accessible parking spots with none being truly ADA compliant. While the closure of the neighboring Walgreen's has helped the parking situation, it's still frustrating. It's more frustrating because you have to use one of two ramps to access the building - one ramp CLEARLY not ADA compliant and in enough disrepair that one could quite easily be injured on it. The restaurant also has two glass doors into the establishment that are just a touch heavy, though they are workable. While the hosts/hostesses are always top notch here (and were today), I always find the servers to be a touch hit-and-miss. They tend to range from "Do they really want me here?" to "I feel like family." I think the Lincoln Square philosophy leans toward the latter and that's what I almost always find at other locations. For today's visit, I was dining alone and, rather unusually for me, I actually arrived during the lunch hour. I was seated promptly at a four-top table right on the outer edge of the dining area next to the cashier area and not too far from the door. If you've learned anything about me from reading my reviews, it's that I value my relaxation over a meal and Iove reading with my meal. My drink order was taken, the usual unsweetened iced tea, and I perused the menu to decide if I was going to go with their breakfast menu or have lunch. While I've typically gone for either breakfast or a chicken sandwich here, I opted for an Angus Cheeseburger for $7.29 that comes with fries and another side. I chose cole slaw for the side. You could have also gotten a small salad. My server, Nicole, was attentive but not quite in the "I want to rush back" kind of way. The food? I have to be honest and say it was, by far, the worst meal I've had at Lincoln Square - It wasn't bad and I wouldn't have sent it back, but I left thinking to myself "I'll never order that again." The cole slaw was pretty good, but the french fries were abysmal - they aren't exactly shoestring, but they lean that direction. They were crispy, too crispy, and lacked any distinctiveness. I know I've had their fries before, and I don't recall having such a negative reaction to them. I'm typically polite, mostly because I believe people generally do the best they can, but when I'm asked how everything was and the best I can muster is a "pretty good" then you know something is wrong. "Pretty good" was as polite as I could get. The angus cheeseburger was an obviously frozen patty that, once again, wasn't bad but it sure wasn't good. If an angus burger is prepared well, it doesn't taste like a frozen patty. This had a chewiness to it that isn't supposed to exist. Again, I can't imagine ever ordering this meal again. I have it as a general rule that I don't "complain" during a meal unless something is truly inedible (or unsafe). I abhor the idea of sending things back and I abhor the idea of folks who want a home-cooked meal - if you want a home-cooked meal, then stay home. However, I must confess I came very close to requesting a re-do on at least the fries. It didn't help matters that the establishment was quite busy when I arrived and my wheelchair was bumped four times. As someone who is already a little spastic, this makes eating a tad difficult. I think this had more to do with the fact that I was sitting so close to the cashier (as you pay the cashier, not at the table). Then, to top it all off, I was lucky enough to be right next to a birthday that was acknowledged by staff VERY loudly. I did get my iced tea refills, with one to go, and that makes this a solid 3-star experience.

This place is just so awesome. Granted I rarely eat in, usually order carry out. It is priced for phenomal value. Good food, even better prices. Service has always been impeccable when I've eaten in - almost exclusively during lunch time. I wish they were open for dinner.

Don't judge a book by its cover, the menu was extremely accommodating & offered something for everyone. Food was very good, only complaint was to the grits. We are from the south so we were very excited to find somewhere with cheese grits, unfortunately the grits weren't even warm enough to melt the cheese. The terrific two wasn't that terrific according to my mom. I had the biscuit & grays omelet & I would give it 2 thumbs up, a must try. Friendly service, no complaints there. Brandi was out waitress & she did an awesome job.

I had 2 pancakes w/ bacon sausage links and eggs. Waitress was just ok. Food was delicious and large portion. Bill totaled $14.14 seemed a bit high but justified by portion size

Ordering carry out this morning but I think some of the staff aren't all the way awake. Food is always phenomenal. A waitress and manager were arguing on the floor and noone offered me coffee or anything to drink while I wait. Overall ok. Food is great, staff needs some work.

Lincoln Square -- a solid place for an early morning breakfast no matter the day. My dad really likes going to this place (he's kind of a regular), so on my last visit to Indianapolis, we swung in for some egg-based deliciousness. I had the veggie omelette -- packed with broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, and spinach. I opted for no cheese and thought it was a nice touch to have fresh spinach rolled in with the other veggies. Well cooked and served with nice accompaniment of fresh fruit and rye toast. My dining partners had the southwestern omelette, biscuits and gravy, and french toast (respectively) -- all thought their dishes were just as good. The price is right, too -- breakfast for four plus coffee, juice, and tip was a bit under $40. The staff are awesome -- very friendly, prompt, and welcoming. I initially thought because my dad is a regular here they were just being extra nice...but they were great to EVERYONE. I'm sure there are hundreds of other places just like this, but the fact that the food was served quickly, the coffee was delicious, and our plates weren't full of grease made Lincoln Square stand out. Next time I'm in Indy, I'm sure it won't be hard to convince my dad to stop here for breakfast...plus I need to try the chicken and waffles. Yum. Tip: weekday breakfast is the best...we dined on a Wednesday morning and there were never more than 10 tables. I'm sure the weekend days pack 'em in.

So, we went on the 4th in the late morning. The prices looked fair. My girl ordered the veggie skillet and mini waffle, and I ordered a Spanish omelet with pancakes. Honestly, the veggie skillet, waffle, and the Spanish were all pretty decent. However, the pancakes were overly sweetened and dry. These flapjacks soaked up syrup faster than my uncle soaks up Jack Daniels. And, for a pancake house, this is why I give it three stars.

The wife and I stopped in on a Saturday on our mission of trying as many breakfast places in Indianapolis. Turns out it was their birthday celebration for this location and they had banners and decorations up. They also gave us a coupon for our next meal at a discount. The building reminds me of a Denny's. That said, it was a busy time on a Saturday and we had no wait. Coffee came quickly, was tasty, and was quickly refilled when empty. We put in our standard orders: whole wheat bacon pancakes for me and a traditional breakfast for the wife. When the food arrived, my wife's looked right. Mine was regular pancakes without bacon. So i got my bowl of fruit and waited for them to make the right order. When it came out 10 minutes later I had whole strips of bacon in my wheat cakes and a side of bacon (I didn't order a side) but I'm not saying no to more bacon. Putting whole strips in the cakes made them very difficult to eat. The cakes themselves were pretty plain. My wife's cakes were cold, dry, and wouldn't even melt butter. Happy we checked it off. Probably won't rush back until I've been to at least 10 other places on the list. Side note: review #200!!!

Lincoln Square reminded me of all the pancake house that I used to go to as a kid with my family after church. Nostalgia commence, now! It's a big restaurant and was really busy on the Saturday morning that I went. Service was really quick and efficient though, and the coffee was promptly brought and filled whenever we needed it. Also, they had a ton of different individual coffee creamers on the table, but they were actually good ones like Almond Joy, Pumpkin Spice, and Hazelnut. I just thought that was a nice touch. I ordered the veggie omelette with a side of pumpkin pancakes. OMG PUMPKIN PANCAKES. These things were amazing. So good. Wish I would've just left the omelette out and just got the pancakes. Omelette was okay, kinda lacking in flavor a bit, but portions were HUGE. This egg dish was at least as big as my head. It also came with a generous portion of hashbrowns too. Overall, I really like this place, but think I'll stray away from the omelettes but try more of their pancakes and french toast in the future.

This is a good cheap go-to breakfast restaurant. It reminds me of the truck stops we used to go in Rhode Island/Connecticut. It's nothing impressive in my opinion. I feel like it's "ole faithful". The food alright and it's not expensive at all. You can tell its a place where everyone goes to on a Saturday or Sunday morning. It's a community staple, seems like the wait staff knows their customers.

Food and service were both fantastic. Never had to ask for anything as it was always there before we could ask.

......WHY 3 STARS........... Clean, friendly staff, good value for the money, hot tasty coffee are the pluses. I ordered "The Twos" 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 pancakes and 2 strips of bacon. Timely arrival and a nice selection of creamers. The hash browns as well as the eggs simply lacked flavor as if not cooked in bacon fat or seasoned with any herbs or spices. The bacon was crispy and sliced to a reasonable thickness not cut with a laser. The pancakes also were a slight disappointment. They were hot but again not much flavor. (Note to the cook- consider adding some vanilla, nutmeg or cinnamon to the batter and add vanilla beans to the syrup. A decent value, I would go again but only for the convenience not so much for the food.

My and a group of friends decided to come here on a Sunday morning for some breakfast. Despite the long line, we were seated quickly (a group of 4) and even given our choice of booth (hooray!). Everyone got something different, and everyone was satisfied. I have been on a bit of a Mexican kick lately, so I decided to try the Southwest Skillet. I was not disappointed. This was enough for 2 meals. Scrambled eggs, salsa, jalapeños, onions, peppers and chorizo layered over crispy hash browns and topped with copious amounts of cheddar cheese. It was quite delicious the first (and the second) time. The coffee was also quite good, and strong. I would definitely come back here as this seems to be a breakfast staple for many. Might be best to avoid after church crowd times.

Sat at counter and had a very good egg white Greek omelet with hash browns and a bagel. The service was very good and Brandi the server. Was very nice and cordially. It is definitely a place I would attend next Sunday after my 800 alumni bball game

My family and I went to Lincoln Square Pancake house on mother's day morning for breakfast and had a wonderful time. For the special day they had a photographer go around the restaurant and take pictures and give away picture frames to the moms that they could put their pictures in (Photos to be downloaded via facebook. Pretty genius on their part, free photo for the customer, advertising opportunity for the business.) The food was yummy delicious. I had the Greek Skillet and loved it, my sister-in-law had the meatlovers scramble, both my brothers had the southwest skillet and my mom had the pancakes with fresh strawberries. Everything was so tasty. One of my favorite things was their homemade strawberry jam. They need to bottle and sell that stuff! And to top it off, all the ladies got a free piece of red velvet cake with cream cheese filling. Delish! But the best part was our server. She was a cute young lady with a wonderful personality. She was completely attentive to us even going the extra mile to offer the cake, which we didnt know about, and take-out cups with fresh beverages for the road that we didn't ask for. She just anticipated the need and went the extra mile for us. This was the first time any of us had been to this restaurant. We decided to try it out based on the good reviews and we wanted to have a Yelp adventure. We weren't disappointed. I highly recommend Lincoln Square Pancake House.

My boyfriend and I stopped in Hereford a hearty breakfast before he left the country. We chose to visit on a Monday morning and therefore had the place pretty much to ourselves. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and were seated immediatley. Within a few minutes he and I were happily sipping on coffee and had placed our order with our waiter:a vegitarian omelette with fruit for me and a meat lovers special for my boyfriend. The food was out promptly and was satisfactory. We both were filled to the brim and had leftovers to take home. So why the 3 star rating? Well I tell ya Fellow Yelpers, nothing about this place was unique or a step above. The decor was very much like a waffle house and the food was nothing to write home about. I could have easily made the same things at home and they would have tasted a little better (let's be honest, Smoking Goose Bacon makes everything taste better!). So yes, while the service was quick and I have no glaring faults, I just can't offer up a higher rating for just an "ok" experience..

The pumpkin pancakes are kickass. Spiced, fluffy, and mated with cinnamon butter, my inner fat kid lost her mind. Free fresh-brewed ice tea refills and friendly service. LOVED it.

I think of Lincoln Square as a local version of Bob Evans. It's got just about everything you could want for breakfast or lunch, portions are large and the cost is reasonable. I will say, they do have particularly good Greek dishes. The gyro omelet is particularly good. Décor is a bit 80s, but it feels clean and homey. We like to go after church on Sundays, when it's full but there's rarely a long wait.

I have never been disappointed at this restaurant!!! The food is delicious, the wait staff is very attentive, and most of all, they make you feel at home! I really love coming here for all of those reasons. Anytime I come with a friend who has not been there yet, they are so amazed at the menu choices, there are so many options for breakfast and lunch. Love this place!

We had noticed this place a little while ago and finally visited today. It won't be long before we return. The restaurant is clean and spacious, with a very open layout so you can mostly see everyone in the restaurant at any time. The place had a busy hum of people talking, but it was really pleasant, not obnoxious. I was also quite pleased with the diversity of both staff and patrons, as it seemed like a real community meeting place of different ethnicities, age groups, and families. I had the chicken and waffles, which included a fried boneless chicken breast, two delicious mini-waffles, and two eggs. It was absolutely delicious. The waitress seemed to be having a tough day and apologized profusely after realizing she had forgotten about us prior to ordering. We had a nice laugh, and it was no big deal. I was glad she at least acknowledged the mistake. The rest of the menu looked terrific also and it took me forever to decide what to eat. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu soon! 4.5 stars

Went here for breakfast this weekend. The joint was busy but since it was just the two of us, we didn't have to wait. I ordered the french toast (platter?) with hashbrowns in place of the sausage & bacon. My partner ordered the Florentine omelette with hollandaise sauce (I had a few bites). The french toast was pretty good. The eggs were just O.K. What I really enjoyed was the omelette with the hollandaise sauce. The server said the sauce is homemade. Service was great. I noticed there were many healthier options, but once you see the menu, healthy sort of goes out the window. I couldn't decide 3 or 4 stars, so I gave it 4 for the service.

It was busy on Saturday morning but not terribly. We were seated immediately and then nothing. One minute two minutes 3 minutes four minutes 5 minutes still nothing. The hostesses were busy chatting. We got up and left. We drove to First Watch on 82ND street-where we were warmly greeted, immediately got water and coffee and a great meal-just exactly what we wanted...

Having found Lincoln Square Pancake House when searching the web for breakfast places in/near Fishers, we went this morning and discovered the area's best kept secret! This is a wonderful place, with pleasant and attentive staff and very good food. I had the Greek omelet and it was perhaps the best I've ever had (just a tad short of one I had at a resort near Jackson Hole many years ago). My husband had sides - ham and bagel - and he pronounced the ham excellent. This is more upscale than "down home" but has the best of down home in a clean and most pleasant setting. I saw they have perch on the menu on Fridays and Saturdays - I'll be back! For now, as a breakfast lover, I may have found my new favorite place.

Lincoln Square is your usual neighborhood breakfast/lunch spot, and this is a good thing. The menu is big, (not as big as a Chicago Greek greasy spoon) but maybe someday it will be! I love Greek diners. The decor is not fancy, but they offer a lot of booths and room for large parties. The service has always been good, and fast. I have rarely been when the place was not almost full. I go mainly for breakfast and the eggs and bacon are better here then some of the more upscale restaurants in the area, pair that with the more affordable price and that makes it a winner. The one thing we do not like here is the buttermilk pancakes. Very dry, but they are fluffy. Coffee is average. Sandwiches are good, I have had the club and the deli meat was a good quality. If you get a soda they will offer you a to go cup with a fresh drink. Nice touch. You pay at the counter, but the line moves quickly. Parking can be a pain since this is in a small strip mall in the same lot as a Wal-greens. The nice this is you can park in any spot with in the lot.

I pass by this joint every time I make a run to the Rip, I've always meant to stop & give it a go, but haven't gotten around to it until today. We passed it by first at noon this Sunday and the lot was packed, so I thought we should wait an hour or 2. We ran our errands, returned about 1:30 and the place is still busy, but we were famished by then and decided to try anyway. The dinning room was about 90% full, but we were shown to a table before we even came to a stop at the hostess stand. The dinning room is spacious, and clean with the normal American breakfast joint decor. The menu is reasonably priced, vast & varied. Management seems to be a Greek family which in my book is all the better. Many Greek dishes on the menu amongst all the standard American fair. Hubbie got a pancake platter which included eggs & toast, & I had a Greek skillet, which included a short stack of pancakes. Everything was as sweet & savory as it should be, and we left just shy of beached only because we didn't finish everything. The staff was at the top of their game, warm, welcoming, & extremely prompt. We will return happily again, & again. ** One last thing, before the waitress brought our check back she asked if we'd like fresh road cokes to go! That's above and beyond service in my book, a very simple, but thoughtful thing. Other businesses should take note!

It was the first time for my wife and I coming here for breakfast and I have to say it was not disappointing. Our server was on top of everything from greeting us to the very end and even interacted with our daughter. I am impressed with this place and will come back!
