Ummm... I may not be the best person to review Hooters. I'm (a) female, (b) straight, and (c) a dyed-in-the-wool Bdub's fan. At any rate, this was my first-ever visit to a Hooters, a trip made mostly so my friend could fill out an application. It was pretty packed on a Thursday afternoon, which I guess is a testament to either the food or the staff... maybe a little of both. I enjoy that the place doesn't take itself too seriously. What weirded me out was not that there were, in fact, hooters on display... it was the gratuitous butt-cheekage all over the place. The orange shorts leave absolutely zero to the imagination. I guess that's good if you feel your casual dining experiences have been lacking in that department. All buns aside, our waitress was very nice considering we were not her target clientele. There were quite a few middle-aged to elderly men eating alone. They seemed to get a lot of hugs and special treatment. Again, not what I typically look for from waitresses, but I am positive there are at least a few people in the area who may choose where to eat lunch based on this criteria. The wings were nothing to write home about. I've had much, much better at local dive bars. But nobody really reads Playboy for the articles. I do agree that the screaming from the kitchen is a little distracting. It does confirm that you need to have a name that ends in a "y" sound to work here. "BRITTANY! CASSIE! TORI! You're up!" So there you go, folks. Mediocre wings, booty all up in your face, and maybe some hugs. And lots of shouting. Hooray?

My son and I ordered 20 wings each. The order was served about five minutes after we placed it which told me that the wings were not fresh. And they were cold. They had been cooked for awhile when we got them. I have never had this happen to me before at any Hooter's and I was very surprised. I didn't complain because the kitchen should have never served old wings and the server should have never served old wings. The other issue was the server. I ordered Iced Tea with a lemon and she served it that way. But when she brought refills they didn't have lemons in them. I had to fish the used lemon out of the empty glass and put it in the new glass. Unreal. And when I paid the $47 tab and tipped her, I felt like I had been robbed. I don't mind paying for good quality food but I hate paying for cold, dried out food. I expected more from Hooters. I suppose you will survive based on the scantily clad servers, because I know it won't be because of the food.

Not bad, but not exciting either. Waitresses here weren't even HOOTER friendly. I went on a Tuesday night so the place was almost empty. The Women's Championship game (UCONN vs ND) was on and I was by myself so I sat at the bar. They did have a short beer special which was $2.75 for certain drat taps. Chicken wasn't anything specials and they didn't have a special that night or any other night for that reason. As far as Hooters go, I've been to better ones. I bypassed other restaurants thinking I'd get a better deal at Hooters. NOT! So, it's ok. Maybe it's better towards the weekend . Unless you just a Hooters fan try other locations.

Friendly fast service! I order the hot wings and crab legs all the time. It doesn't matter if I sit in or take out the food is always good!

The best I can say is that the food was served promptly. Unfortunately, almost everything else was a problem. Not especially clean. Boneless wings were rubbery, cold, and tasteless once you gett past the sauce, which wasn't that good either. I ate two and pushed 13 away. Fries were so salty they left a burning aftertaste on lips and tongue even with brushing off as much salt as I could, Service consistently failed - failed to notice that I ate almost none of my meal or ask why, failed to clean plates or refill drinks, offered a drink and then couldn't tell us how it was priced and failed to offer to go find out - just stood there smiling and said "would you like one or not?" Took forever to settle the check and didn't discount a thing despite a full plate of food sent away and an emphatic "no" when asked if I wanted a box. Next time, I'll drive right by. No reason to overspend for crappy service twice. A decently trained waitstaff on their first day would have done a much better job.

Nice atmosphere, and friendly waitresses. My problem is with their food. Almost everything I've ever had there is terrible, except the burgers are pretty good. Their Philly is one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had! (I tried it several times) If you are coming here to drink and hang out: 4 stars. If you are looking for food, I recommend going elsewhere.

Can't go wrong with the garlic naked wings. They have such a great flavor and none of the grease and breading that come with their regular wings.

Well, I'm not real proud of my home town Hooters. I gave them several chances at unfortunately I'm done. The last 5 visits I've experienced a hour and 40 minute wait. I asked several times after one hour and they apologized stating they forgot us but then again never got us a seat. At 1 hour 40 minutes we walked out. This was the final strike although we had plenty of bad experiences. The big thing if like to warn you is to check your celery before eating it. I was served dirty celery 3 times with DIRT, yes DIRT on it. Apparently they don't care that business have almost closed due to illnesses caused from serving people dirt. Take away the items above and do have to say they have the best curly fries and really good wings and even boneless wings. Buffalo shrimp is good too and even there ham and cheese is pretty good.

Service has gotten better lately. Crab legs are no longer on special and set you back $12.99/lb which is still a great deal!! My son loves the food and they have some half-price deals early on week nights!

The food is good and the girls are great. The only problem I have is the yelling from the line cooks. I always come and eat alone and like to sit at the bar. Their are a couple of young line cooks that yell crap out just to yell. Give it a break already. Update: The yelling has stopped. This is one if my favorite places to eat when I am by myself.

My husband and I took my parents here for the first time, they both loved it and really enjoyed themselves. My dad didn't know what Hooters was about, he thought it was a topless venue and we took him so that he could experience the place for himself. He said he will definitely be back to eat here again. He got the ham and cheese sandwich and loved it, my mom got the boneless wings and she liked them as well as the fries. Let me just say Hooters is not a topless venue, it is a nice restaurant where you and your children can go and enjoy themselves. They have children's menus with crayons for the little ones to keep them occupied while they wait for their food. They take very good care of the kids as well as you. My parents both have a hard time getting around so we had to wait about 15 minutes to have seating at a low seat table, but generally you can walk right in and sit down if you are not picky about where you sit. Their tables do have bar stools as chairs and are raised so be aware if you want other seating you need to tell them when you get there. They are very accommodating to your needs. We had very good service, she kept us all happy and sometimes that isn't always easy to do lol! I highly recommend Hooters if you are looking for a fun and friendly atmosphere. We will be back, our kids ask us all the time if we can eat at Hooters and we will again.

First, their free wifi wouldn't connect. Then it took awhile for my order to come. I ordered fish and chips but with tater tots. The tots and slaw was good. But the fish was dry and completely lacking in flavor. I couldn't eat most of them. When the server asked about them I told her they were not that good. She didn't offer to take them off the bill.

If you're going to Hooter's for anything but the food and drink, this is the only location in Indianapolis I would visit. The girls actually take pride in their appearance, enjoy their jobs and know that better service leads to good tips. As this location has motorcycle parking, all you can eat Wings specials and a recently expanded menu with items such as loaded tater tots, fried pickles and daytona shrimp.

Hey it's Hooters! If you have never heard of this place, it's a sports bar with scantily clad waitresses who are very friendly (because they are told to be). My teenage boys love the place because it's lively and friendly. And they learn a little about flirting, which is important for any teenager. The place is well lit and does not portray a bar atmosphere. If you are a religious nut, you will not like this place because you will hate that the waitresses don't swallow their anger (like repressed right wing religious nutz). The wings are breaded and fried in a variety of types of sauce. The hot sauce is not THAT hot, but you'll regret it the next day.

I stopped going a while back because the beer selection sucked and they over seasoned the shrimp in the salad I like. HOWEVER, my family and went back tonight and it was awesome. I got the spinach shrimp salad and the shrimp was seasoned perfectly. Also got a craft beer. Our server was great and friendly. What can I say, definitely going back :)

Group of 5 of us went there to eat. Service was very, very slow. Was not on a game night, and we were there to just eat, not drink and hang out all evening. Took over 2 hours from time we walked in til we walked out. 1 hour would have been plenty. Arrived about 6pm, left about 8pm. Parking lot is full of huge crater holes waiting to swallow up your vehicle or have you fall in them so be careful. Free Wi-Fi that you have to log into from Hooters browser, was also very slow, had to turn off wi-fi and use my 4gLTE. The multiple flat screen TVs looked old like 720p, and it was very loud inside the restaurant. Got the cup of chili as my appetizer, took 20 minutes to arrive, it had a good taste, average sized cup serving, but was not warmed up enough, more luke warm. Very expensive, $4.49 + .49 cheese + .79 jalapenos, at least the 2 packs of crackers were free. 20 minutes later our other appetizer of fried pickles arrived, 2 of my group liked them, I did not like the pickles. 50 minutes later our main food finally arrived. In the mean time we saw other people come in after us, sit down, order wings, eat, pay and leave, and more people being seated again. Our server when she was around, as she would disappear for long periods at a time, was nice and friendly, but watching all the servers over the 2 hours, most when not at a table talking to guest, all had looks on their faces like they couldn't wait to get out of there, were tired, and burned out. No fun smiles, except at the tables. We had 50 mild wings, $45, which looked like no sauce because its just butter sauce. 10 habanero bbq, $10, which had a very nice heat and bbq flavor, and 10 of the 5 star hottest wings, $10, on the menu. Those were very hot, made my eyes water and my nose run, in a good way. Wings were nice sized, breaded, traditional bone-in wings, cooked properly and tasted good. Also had the french fries with cheese dip, ($2.99 + .99) those were good too. The 12 buffalo shrimp, $8.99, were not even luke warm by the time they arrived at our table. Must have gotten cooked first and sat and cooled off during our slumber of a wait. 1 beer, the rest soft drinks, total bill $115+tip for 5 people, thats $23+ each, kind of expensive per person since we werent all drinking lots of alcohol. The eye candy that makes everything cost more was not all that pleasing, and I'm sure we would have had quicker service from BW3. It was not a satisfying dining experience even though the food was good, everything else was way off. If you're 21 y/o guy and want to gawk at girls in low cut tops and short bottoms, and you don't mind the slow service, you might enjoy it here.

They have happy hour from 3-6 Monday to Friday and 10-close everyday. It's a real good deal. I can get 4 sliders and fries for 4.50! The service was good. Meme did a great job. Can't wait to come back.

The only reason I give it one is because they got my wifes order correct. Megan was a very nice girl. We went for clams which they didn't have but not a problem there. I love the Hooters shrimp. It took forever....to get our food. The couple and young son just finished their drinks and paid and walked out and said to us, "you're in for a long wait." When my shrimp arrived, no cocktail sauce and when I told her she said, "the kitchen forgot it" that's fine but after about 4 min. I had to go up and remind her before I got it. She was visiting with her coworkers. The kitchen workers looked like they were in a state of confusion. My shrimp were cold and so were my wifes burger and fries. Keep in mind the restaurant was only about 1/4 to 1/3 full. When I went up to get the bill (it wasn't brought to the table) she asked if our food was ok. I told her about the cold shrimp ( the batter fell off when I cut them they were that cold) she said, "do you want me to get the mgr.?" I told her no. Cut my losses and go on. But like another reviewer said, "I felt like for $33 I'd been shortchanged" The restaurant wasn't that clean and both the mens and womens restrooms were dirty, and in need of remodeling. I've eaten in Hooters in Peoria, IL, Springfield, IL and Bloomington, IL and love the shrimp. Today in Greenwood, Indiana I've lost my desire for them. Check my posts and you'll rarely see a negative review. To bad I had to give this one....
