Good service....good food....good value! The restaurant was very clean and the food was very fresh; both very important qualities to me for a buffet. I will definitely go back!

Pros: Broad selection and Mongolian style grill Good atmosphere Cons: Food - all of it had been out well past it's prime. Didn't even look appetizing. There were multiple empty plates of sushi on the bar and no one making more. The soup was barely 'warm' and that's being generous. I should add this was during the 7pm hour, so it was obviously dinner time. One would have expected the food to be somewhat fresh. Servers - I have to admit they are quick to refill your drink but they were also really quick to show me I could leave. I had received my bill while I was finishing my 1st plate of food and half of a glass of coke so a total elapsed time of about 10 mins. Maybe it's nitpicky but I'd just prefer to be able to relax and eat without thinking that I needed to clear out. If you like to gamble with your stomach I'd highly recommend eating here. If you like your food hot and at least mildly pleasant to look at I'd recommend going somewhere else.

I have been to a lot of Chinese buffets in my life, especially cheap ones. Also, I feel like I have realistic expectations for the food. This place has DISGUSTING food. Everything is extremely greasy and a lot of items that should be hot are cold. Add to that the restaurant was freezing. Seriously, save your money and go somewhere else.

The food is hit or miss. At times it is hot, fresh and full of flavor, and others it taste like they ordered takeout and called it fresh. Either way the food is not terrible, my suggestion is go near lunch or dinner rush to get good food, so ce it's a bit pricy for a buffet.

Holy Cow! 2 plates doesn't touch the selection so we'll be back for weeks to make sure we hit the good spots! Wow!

Service - average service. It's a buffet so all they need to do is keep the drinks filled up and the dirty plates out of the way. He did a good job at both, but he looked a little like he didn't want to be there. I felt bad for him. :( Atmosphere - when you first walk in there's a cool looking statue, a little pond with a water wheel, and jade Buddhas on the hostess stand. Pretty nice. But then all over the walls there's these folksy sayings and paintings (like those kind that say "home sweet home" with a picture of sheep or whatever) It wasn't ugly or anything, just a little weird. Over the buffet stations is this awesome chandelier with recessed lighting that changes colors every few seconds. Sweeeeet. It was super clean too, so no complaints there. Food - I'll be honest, I've never been to a chinese buffet before, so I'm definitely not the authority on what makes good Chinese buffet food. They had about 9 buffet stations and a good variety of "American" food for picky eaters. I mostly had chicken dishes because seafood is GROSS. (They did have a lot of shrimp dishes that looked good and what looked like a good variety of sushi.) The chicken was just okay... All the sauces just sort of tasted the same, syrupy and thick. It wasn't horrible, but I definitely would have liked more flavor and variation. The white rice was good, but the vegetable fried rice was saaaaad. It was definitely NOT fried, just doused in yellow oil.... The hibachi grill was delicious. You could pick all the vegetables you wanted and what sort of meat. (I'm pretty sure it was chicken, shrimp, steak, and crab?). Then you handed it to the chef, who squirted some sort of yummy sauce on it and cooked it up. Mmmm. They had a good sized salad bar and a couple of soups but I didn't have any because I was saving room for DESSERT! They had six tubs of ice cream that you scooped yourself that was the bomb, some tiramisu cake that was delicious, banana pudding, chocolate pudding, bananas in a red glaze, almond cookies, jello, and a couple of sheet cakes. (orange and this chocolate/coffee one that was like a pure shot of expresso, oh yeah) All in all, it's a pretty good place and dinner is only $9.98.

Very good selection and great food! New experiences are the best definitely worth the price!

The quality is slipping - unfortunately. The last handful of times I have gone has been disappointing. I kept going because I guess I was in denial as to how things really were. The all you can eat veggie sushi is what keeps me coming back. Lunch pricing is always the best value.

You pick your own ingredients for the hibachi grill. The steak was chewy and likely chuck steak. The chicken was ok. If you pick the right ingredients, it makes for a decent meal, but nothing special. The buffet was overall disappointing and most food was mushy. The Jello and fruit at the dessert bar tasted good though.

Did not get any food off if the grill, but the other food was not very good. I had the wonton soup: the noodle disintegrated as I got it on my spoon.

Oh great and precious Father, help me to understand my eyes are probably bigger than my stomach Lord. And, although that is not medically possible, Lord I need you to heal me from my visionary afflictions! Come down and lay precious hands on my brain and cause me to stop spending all my precious coin eating these delightful and declicious pleasantries and Hibachi thangs!! I know not what I do and what I do know is that if I were a buffet... I would be Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet. Or, at the very least, I would be a Supreme so that I could sing all of Hibachi's great and wonderful glory!! I would sparkle on into eternity and crown my head with wontons...while holding a bouquet of bean sprouts!! Order my steps and protect my wallet! I am in love with Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet!

As a overall it's worth the $$. Has a wide variety of foods. Some food was cold but not badly sitting out all day type of cold. The sushi was really good actually and the hibachi grill was good. 2 adults on a Sunday was under $30.

I like this place a lot. It's nicer than some of the other options closer to my house, and not much more expensive. And the staff here is always friendly. Having said that, you do have to remember you are eating at a buffet. You aren't going to get gourmet food here, especially sushi. Everything I've eaten here is above average for a buffet. I especially like the steak pie and the pepper steak. Unlike most other buffets, the dish actually had a fair amount of steak mixed in with the veggies. So I don't feel so bad picking the steak out. My only beef with this place(and all other Asian buffets) is lame dessert options. I want cake! And not those sad little cake squares that taste like coffee grounds. You know the ones, because you have all gotten one in the hopes it would be good. But it wasn't. Guess I'll stick with orange jello.

So you know what your going to get when you hit a Chinese buffet. Hadn't been here in a long time, probably not going back, the usual suspects, grill was ok, sushi tasted old, floor is slick constantly. Stayed away from all the fried, greasy stuff, ate as clean as possible, mostly veggies and meat, my daughter ate probably four bites of food so they knocked her off the bill. It's a buffet, I've had better, I've had worse.

I used to love this place. The quality has gone down drastically. I just left and I was extremely disappointed. The food was terrible. Half of it was lukewarm and the sushi was so dry the fish had the texture of bacon. Rice was dry. This used to be my go to spot but the last 3 times I have come here were the same.

When the food is boring and gross, stay for the people watching. There was literally nothing that could be considered "good" here. The hot and sour soup was ok because it looked like soup, but was flavorless. I know the quantity has an impact on quality, but this is not Asian food. Even the American food, you know, for the discerning south side palate, looked gnarly. You can print a coupon off of Coupons 4 Indy for this joint. Good luck, I'm not coming back.

Service:4 Food quality/taste: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Value: 4 The best place around for cheap sushi, Hibachi Grill provides a clean buffet experience with plenty of options. There is nothing "bad" to say about Hibachi, but there also isn't anything spectacular about the food quality or taste. As an inexpensive, convenient lunch option when you are buffet-style hungry, though, this is the place to go.

This is just an average "Chinese/Japanese" buffet that I live close to, so my boyfriend and I go here every now and then whenever we're craving it. In general, the service is fine, the interior is organized, the plates are clean, and the food gets refilled quickly. The only exception to this list is the last time that I went, I picked up a plate, and the bottom was greasy. I selected another plate, same result. Thankfully the third plate was clean. It was a pretty minor issue though, so it doesn't make me like the restaurant any less. All I really have to say is that this place isn't half bad whenever you're too lazy to cook and you want a variety of food.

Food: Pros: Huge variety, we are often there late and it is still pretty fresh (for a buffett). The best things are the cheese buns and the corn nuggets. God I love corn nuggets. The select your own hibachi gril is included in the price. Cons: One time after eating there I got pretty queasy, the man didn't so I'm expecting it was either the sushi or more specifically the spicy mayo. I haven't eaten the sushi again and i've been fine. The hot tea they serve is just lipton, but at least you get a whole pot. Service: Our waitress is good with drinks but always forgets us when it comes time for the check. We've waited upwards of 20-30 minutes for her to bring it. It's disappointing. Price: it's a good value for a buffet.

If this would get less than one star I would. This place does not have the worst food, but the service was terrible. Took forever to get refills. Then at the end with the ad in my pocket they refused to give me a discount for being a student which is shown in the advertisement. This place false advertises. They say they are the largest buffet in the south indy area and that is a outright lie also. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to false advertising.

Probably the best pan-Asian buffet on the South side. You've got your typical American Chinese food selection, which I would recommend over their odd foods (more specifically their "philly cheesesteak" roll-type things, which are pretty disgusting). The hibachi grill isn't bad, and the sushi is pretty decent. One major plus is that it is always very clean and well-kept. I never see children by themselves, playing in the food, which is comforting. The food is also fresh, even during off-hours.

I have eaten here about four or five times with my husband and friends, children, etc. It has a great variety of food and is busy enough so that the food is pretty fresh. The selection is great and the sushi and sashimi is continuously refilled ; there is an opportunity for grill to order, etc. Compared to many Asian buffets or American buffets we have visited, this is a superb value with an overwhelming selection of food to please just about anyone...lot's of fresh fruit, salads, healthy options, beef, pork, chicken, fish and more. Children do not seem to phase the staff. Restrooms are clean, etc. I wish they had wine or a BYOB option. You would not be disappointed, unless you are a person who does not like buffet style restaurants.

My wife and I had the least expensive anniversary dinner of our 10 years together last night. And it was probably the best as well. The food is fresh and plentiful with many cuisines offered. The sushi bar is well-stocked. I tried almost 10 different types. There is a wonderful cook-to-order hibachi grill in the back, offering fresh meats (chicken, filet, steak, shrimp, crab) and a large variety of vegetables (Watch out for the hot sauce though). For dessert, we had ice cream we scooped ourselves from large containers. Highly recommended.
