Oh how I have missed there bagels. Being locted on the west coast for the past 2 years I grew to miss some of the simpler things I took for graite, one of them was Einsteins'Bagels. Believe it or not, it is pretty hard to find a decent bagel in Los Angeles. I recently re-visited Einsteins and I had forgot just how good they are and Im sure most of us take that for granite. Upon this visit I triewd the Tuscan Herb bagel toasted with Sun Dried Tomatoa Schmear. THe bagel was really light almost like a good piece of sourdough or foccia which paired perfectlly with the sun dried tomato cream cheese. Im looking forward to adding their sandwiches back into my rotation...I hope they are stll as good as I remember.

Love this place. I work right behind it, and I stop in most mornings for the Spinach Mushroom Swiss minus the mushrooms, and a Chai Tea Latte with hazelnut. I mention that drink now since I've probably forced everyone on the staff to make it twice. Who are all really friendly. They had my name down after my second visit. By the forth they were ordering my usual before I even ordered it. They do a great job of keep the place tidy, and despite they're chaotic rushes you'd never assume that they ever make a mess. All in all they're friendly, fast, delicious, and hot drinks are served hot. Love this place, only problem is I don't have time to stop in everyday.

Used to frequent this location a lot. Like, more than the USDA recommends. Food pyramid? More like bagel pyramid. But now I'm less keen on this Einstein: Prices have risen while quality control has gone downhill, their best (ie friendliest and most competent) employees are long gone, and I'm tired of getting attitude when I order a complicated drink. Ordering a dang ol' fruit smoothie will get you a smirk or a stare or an exasperated sigh here. My last to-go order was wrong wrong wrong and I decided I'm bye bye bye.

I love Einstein's. The breakfast sandwiches that are available all day, the lox bagels, the paninis... oh yeah. As usual, I especially love this location cuz it's close to where I work and I can call in my order and then run in and grab it. That's my recommendation, because sometimes, especially at peak meal times, it can have a really long line and some people are so indecisive it makes me crazy!! (in the interest of full disclosure, I will share that I am often totally indecisive when in a new place, so although I'm irritated, I totally understand it-) that's why I call in my order, though. They actually know me by my "usual" order: Lox on a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, capers, red onions, and tomato- sorry 'bout my bref..... when I don't call ahead, they still see me and ask "lox?" Oh yes. Please.

I've been going to this location for more than 5 years and something has changed and not for the better. The bagels themselves are still great as is the coffee. But if you order a bagel with a schmear of cream cheese don't expect much in the way of a schmear. The last 5 times I've been the cream cheese was spread on so thinly you couldn't really tell there was any on there. I think the 'new employees and manager think that cream cheese is like butter and just barely cover the bagel with an almost invisible amount. I've commented on this lack of schmear each time to just be smirked at by the new manager. What happened to all of the 'old' great employees? If I could find another decent bagel shop I would be gone!!!!!

Just like we expected. We love Einsteins in Chicago and this takes us back. Great service. Great staff. Everything Einsteins is supposed to be. Bagel dog is wonderful. Coffee was de-lish (ok, I don't drink coffee, but my wife says it was wonderful.) Just what we needed this morning.

Going to Einstein's used to be our weekend ritual when we lived in California. Once we realized we could do coffee and bagels at home for a fraction of the price, we kinda stopped going. On Saturday morning we decided to venture on over to Einstein's for the nostalgia. The place was clean and bright. The staff was very helpful and quick. I was actually surprised at how slow it was at 8:30am on a Saturday. I have to say, I think Einstein has the best coffee of any place out there (sorry Dunkin Donuts).

It's a chain, but I'm stil a fan. My favorite moment at this location was when the women in front of me ordered a "bagel and schmer" -- and thought the schmer was a cup of coffee. Hee hee.

I don't know if anyone else is taking advantage of this, but Einstein's sent out some fantastic coupons in the mail almost a month ago and since then, I've been treating myself to a free bagel every Friday morning after the gym. Sadly the promotion ends next Friday, but this has renewed my interest in the doughy goodness that is an Einstein bagel! My favorite treat is the good grains bagel, which is covered with every imaginable seed and nut, toasted with peanut butter and a large coffee. I agree with Nichole that their coffee is DELICIOUS! During the winter months they have their "winter blend" coffee and it is one of the only reasons why I would ever want winter to last longer than it already does! They recently took that out of the rotation for another dark roast, so I've shifted back to their vanilla hazelnut which is just as tasty as the winter blend. Service is always friendly, even on a Friday morning at 6 a.m. when I usually stop by. I'm definitely glad this one is so close by to not only where I live, but also where I work. Need a quick lunch? The tasty turkey sandwich=YUMMY! So to sum it up, +1 for the good grains bagels +1 for the delicious coffee +1 for the tasty turkey sandwich +1 for coupons for free bagels! +1 for super friendly service
