Not a huge ice cream fan, but have been a long-time fan of this place. Got their s'mores cup which had marshmallow ice cream, graham cracker bits and a whole (large) reese's cup folded together for a bowl of awesomeness. Licky-Likey.

How can you NOT love ice cream! My favorite combination is the cheesecake ice cream with strawberries, Graham crackers and walnuts!! I was such a fat girl today!!

Yummy ice cream! I've only ever tried the chocolate + brownies combo and I'm a fan. I go for the small size, and that's plenty for me. Cold Stone can serve large portions. I expected the ice cream to be colder (and hence firmer) but it wasn't like soft serve. Nonetheless delish!

I hadn't been to Cold Stone in years, but have recently been on an ice cream kick that's had me stopping here a few times in the past month. I love Cold Stone ice cream, but this location is just very hit or miss. Each time I've went, I've been waited on by the same woman who seems to be confused about the amount of ice cream/toppings that go in each serving size, even though I ordered one of their signature flavors. The first two times my Gotta Have It container was barely filled and there seemed to be more toppings than ice cream. Yesterday the toppings were non-existent and she mixed so much ice cream that it barely fit in the container. The employee was struggling to put the lid on. When I finally tried my apple pie ice cream, there was very little apple filling and very little pie crust. If I have another craving for Cold Stone, I'll probably go out of my way to stop at another location.

I would like to firstly clarify and say that generally speaking I LOVE LOVE LOVE Cold Stone and have been a mega fan of their Cake Batter ice cream with the addition of coconut... that said today I am an angry bear!! And its not just the fact that Yelp made me the Duchess upon checking in going to my head - bunnie honor! Firstly lets take a moment to review the Cold Stone Promise, which I have photographed for your viewing pleasure... "WE PROMISE YOU Fun, friendly people who exceed expectations every day, in every store, one customer at a time by providing quality product, unmatched store cleanliness, and superior service." Again I generally agree considering before today they've never disappointed and I regret not reviewing all the Cold Stones that I've been to in other states and even in this very city. Was I greeted by fun friendly people? Sure! Did they exceed my expectations? No, they didn't even meet my expectations. Was the product quality? Yes. Was the store cleanly? The hoards of flies trying to share in my ice cream would make one think no, especially when the workers were batting flies away from themselves with the metal spatulas.. ahem. Ok, so I deviated from my Cake Batter and tried the Key Lime ice cream (a new flavor that did not disappoint).. The worker greeted me timely, let me have a sample, pitched the other flavors and did his job. When he made my ice cream however he was extra extra sparing with the coconut, so sparing that I was lucky to have about ten shreds in the whole medium sized cup aka "Love it" and I totally go for the coconut and you pay extra for the coconut so that was a mega disappointment... not to mention that my "Love it" dish of ice cream which has always been larger than life and spilling over the lid was actually small enough to sit below the lid with lots of room on either side, it couldn't have filled the smaller "Like it" dish. I was going to let that go except that I went with my roommate who ordered the same size as me and had TWICE the ice cream. The cashier apologized and tried to make it better by saying after he cashed me out he'd add more ice cream. Aw, how sweet. But instead of making it himself he delegated the task to the same guy who messed it up the first time. Who slapped a chunk of the ice cream all solid and unworked sans coconut on top of my already disappointing amount of supposed coconut infused key lime.. and I noticeably frowned because A. unworked cold stone ice cream is basically a huge chunk of yuck and B. going to an ice cream place for the coconut and not getting coconut is STUPID! When asked what was wrong I said it was supposed to be coconut and the guy put a sprinkle of coconut over top of my slab of unworked mess....... the coconut promptly fell off and onto their counter when he passed the dish to me. Wow! Then the cashier insisted that I smile because apparently they did right by me. The issue here is that I'm always smiling, I can't stop smiling and or laughing it seems and somehow I was getting ice cream and not smiling, not only not smiling but unhappy and upset to boot. How is it possible to not smile when eating ice cream? EVEN LACTOSE INTOLERANT people are happy during the act of consuming such deliciousness! I ended up having to scoop the hard slab of unworked not coconut ice cream into the trash anyways and then I sat surrounded by flies, batting my arms about and pouting about the lack of air conditioning and coconut in complete shock. Also I don't know if they still have the policy where they are supposed to sing if you tip but I did tip and there was no singing! I miss the singing, I thought at least a little song would cheer me up but there was no song!!!!!!!!!!!! ANGRY BEAR! I don't want to be your Duchess. In other news, we sat there for a while and they never cleaned the coconut from in front of the cash register... but my roommate was very happy with his blueberries and cream.... just saying.

This place makes me sad. I actually did a mega research project on Cold Stone once for a marketing class and I think that their home office would be appalled at this store. I first fell in love with Cold Stone in Evansville, where I went to school. The lines were always long, but it was always worth it as the store smelled amazing, the treats were perfect, and the friendly staff greeted every customer and sang for their tips. Every single time I've been to this store over the past five years, I've been dissapointed. Their staff sucks, they don't say "welcome to cold stone" They seem depressed and angry with their lives. The place is always a mess, dirty, and no one ever cleans the floor or tables. It's really sad because Trader's Point is a great area with a lot of great restaurants where a place like this could make an absolute killing, epsecially with the Movie Theatre right there. They need a better manager and bad. In the past, I thought maybe it was just an off night, or maybe they just need a little staff turnover, but it never changes. Granted, working at a place that expects you to be happy 24/7 isn't for everyone, but the rest of us put a smile on our face at our jobs, so deal with it! I'm paying you for my ice cream and for a good experience. The past few times, I haven't even left a tip because no one deserved it. And even if you give them a tip, they don't even say thank you. After all this time, I don't even feel like the ice cream tastes as good as it used to. But maybe it's just the dirty tables and sorrowfull staff that leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

The employees were very patient with me, as a Cold Stone Creamery amateur, today and very helpful and friendly! This one could use more seating, though. I enjoyed watching them mix my ice cream sensation up - kudos to them because I would not want to hand mix all that all day long! And the ice cream was sinfully delicious for a chain!!! We also got a Cold Stone Creamery incentives card and they even let us know that Mondays are double punch days! I will go back....probably on a Monday! :)
