I stopped in for lunch and found myself greeted by very pleasant folks who promptly seated me. Table is clean and in order. I ordered ice tea and a combo pot roast sandwich and pot roast vegetable soup. A very hearty meal for the price paid. It taste great and I feel satisfied. My server was top notch and my tea glass never revealed its bottom by always being full. A very well run restaurant.

It's a Bob Evans. You know what you're going to get. Bacon, sausage, biscuits, eggs, pancakes, toast, coffee, orange juice. Service was a little scatterbrained (thus the 2 star review). She didn't bring our group's food out all at the same time and got one person's side dish wrong. She went back to the kitchen to get the right item (mashed potatoes) and dropped it on the way to the table. Had to wait another 5 minutes to get mashed potatoes.

Ordered a simple breakfast... Biscuits were nice and fluffy!!! And the rest...... Well they are like any other breakfast joints. Reminds me of Denny's. I'm not big on a simple breakfast joint... I like the fufu kind of place where they serve me caviar on my eggs and toast.. So this place is just what is expected of it. Simple and good. Service was quirky and friendly! Maybe turn it down a notch, I kept forgetting what my friend and I were talking about because we were interrupted a million times! Lol. She was super kind and super friendly... But I came to enjoy breakfast and conversation with my friend, not my waitress.

Americana in the Heartland for $10??? As a Canadian I guess I should eat american while in the good ol USA. And why not if its a $10 special. This has to be cheaper than any fast food drive through like the big 3 chains Anyways, I plan to go back because the food was very good So for 2 $5 bills plus tax and tip you can enjoy a Coffee A starter salad with choice of dressing Turkey with mashed potato, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce (a really good sized portion) Bread Pudding I was stuffed and had a big grin...this was a great meal Bob Evans seems to be like a Denny's with a lot of marketing on the farm theme. You can buy Bob Evan's products on the way out. Service was great Did I say I am returning for breakfast? My buddy had the breaded fish and he enjoyed it as well

As the mid-west weather drops, Bob Evans starts to creep into my conciosness more and more. Ive recently been a big fan of their $20 family meals. Roast turkey, gravy, (excellent) stuffing and bread (pumpkin for me please!) Feeds four (or 2 hungry Stefans!) Great for takeout, packed nicely.

Ask for Pat!!! Food was good, but service was exceptional. Pat is on her 33rd year with Bob Evans. She was cracking jokes from the get go and was awesome!!!

Decent Americana food at an acceptable price: Bob Evans! This location is set back off the interstate. Service was slow; food good.

Horrible service. They were not busy, many open tables and it still took 15 minutes to be sat. We sat at our table for 15 minutes and not ackowledged. I even waved to a server who looked right at me and kept on walking.

Did a carry out order. Picked it up went back to hotel to realize they did not give us plastic ware to eat with, the rolls were doughy and undercooked, the meatloaf was old with a hard ring around it. It looked like a dog treat and wouldn't cut . They messed up my daughters Choco chip pancake order with reg pancakes. Overall not pleased with this location carry out service.

It's a shame a big company like Bob Evans can't afford to have competent management at this restaurant.. Came in on a Sunday morning restaurant was 70% filled. Sat at the counter and had to ask (after 10 minutes) to get the counter cleaned of the previous patron's dishes. Counter was finally wiped off. Another 5 minutes passed before I had to flag down a waitress to ask for some coffee.. it was brought to me, but I had to ask for a spoon and cream. Another eight minutes passed while I passively waited for a server to stop by and take my order (the wait was in vein!), I ecentually asked for a server to take my order. 20 minutes now passed, since I sat down. Food arrived after an additional. 10 minute wait. I then had to ask the lady that put my food in front of me, if it would be possibe to get a coffee pot refill, silverware, some more cream and a napkin. Finally got to eat. Food quality was average at best. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

Group of 6 took 45 min to be seated at 2:30pm. Nobody came out of the dining area the whole time we were waiting and there were only 2 tables occupied so I don't know what we were waiting for. Waitress forgot 3 people's drinks. Came back with them 10 minutes later and one was still wrong. The pancakes were overdone, eggs were chewy and the hash browns were so limp I'd guess they had been boiled. My friend had to go up to the front desk and ask for sauce was supposed to come with her meal after the waitress forgot twice and then we didn't see her for the rest of the meal. We had to wave over another waitress to get waters refilled. A different friend ordered a sweet potato and it came out stinky and very discoloured on the inside, black and grey and clearly rotten. Took a while to convince them to bring us a new one. The salad was fine.

Staying at a hotel across the street, not many options. I went in, and was ignored for 15 mintues. Finally went into the dining area and asked if it was okay if I can eat here. The server I had Dajuan (something like that) was nice, friendly and willing to make helpful recommendations. I ordered a salad, which had good ranch dressing. Then I had chicken noodle soup, which was shocking when it arrived to my table. It was a giant pile of these unusual super thick noodles; I am guessing homemade. There was a lot of chicken in there too. I did not like the noodles, but I think they were good, if you enjoy noodles. I was expecting a clearish, broth with some vegetables and noodles in it. This was not that at all. Then, I ordered blueberry crepes. I enjoyed them. I was utterly shocked that this all came to about 11 dollars. In CA we DO NOT have such a giant lunch for 11 bucks. I may go back for dinner, as there are no other options.

We wanted a nice hot breakfast and good strong coffee after boondocking overnight in Indy. The parking lot was full at 9 a.m. but don't be fooled. Food is mediocre, at best. Our table had smudges of sticky gunk on it. The server asked us (on a chilly November morning) if we wanted Coke or iced tea! We needed coffee. Server asked if we wanted cream, which turned out to be milk, brought to the table in the tiniest vessel I've ever seen at a breakfast place. The milk wasn't enough for our two cups of coffee! Hey Manager, try serving Half & Half in a 4 oz pitcher, not a plastic pancake syrup cuplet. I had eggs, sausage and fruit salad, which was cold and fresh. But the Sunshine Skillet wasn't cooked to order: potatoes were anemic instead of well done, skillet was a salty mushy mess heaped onto an omelet. The coffee was bland; biscuits blah; margarine spread, yuck. Finally, the woman's bathroom: toilet had gunk on seat (not that I'd EVER sit on a public toilet); the automatic paper towel dispenser is installed too low: paper comes out, touches the wet sink area and soaks up dirty water; and the automatic sensor faucet dispensed stone cold water on a 30 degree day. First and last visit to a Bob Evans. It certainly gave us something to talk about on the long drive back home.

A lot of chains that were built around the time of the construction boom during the turn of the century (1997-2003) have started to show their wear and tear a little more. Many of those wildly speculative investments had closed up by the beginning of the economic downturn, with several more since. Some have found new life, others sit empty. InTech Park on the city's northwest side is a prime example. There were several restaurants built here in anticipation of ten InTech office buildings to be built within a few years. Here we are 10 years later and they have built three. Built as supplemental needs to the park were: A fast food chai.n (Wendy's); A lunch and dinner spot (Max & Erma's); Two hotels (a third in 2010); and A strip mall with a bar and grill (Gatsby's), dry cleaners, Starbucks, Quiznos and a breakfast chain (LePeep.) Wendy's, Max & Erma's, Quizno's, and Gatsby's are all gone. Starbucks and LePeep limp along and the hotels ate suing each other. Possibly it was the fact that there was no good signage, or the businesses were just too much supply for demand. Yet this Bob Evans, even though having an inconvenient location for the park, has bucked every excuse to buckle for the most part due to the fact that they offer excellent food and friendly service. The physical building had shown some wear so a refresh was in order. In addition, a remodeling always shows that the company has confirmed its commitment to the location. Now the restaurant looks great, and the food is as good as always. That said, I only get breakfast food here. Get the home fries vs the hash browns. Peace.

I applaud the new menu and pricing. However, the food was a bit salty. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. The Tuesday kids eat free special brought us in for a stop off of 465. For the price and portions not a bad rest stop choice. Dinner is large so can easily split with small ones.

This is pretty sad because I thought for sure talking with a manager was going to solve this problem but clearly the staff has issues all the way around. Last Saturday me and my family did a 5 k race, after the race we came to bob Evans to eat. we were seated and our orders got taken. The server was Michelle P. I found out later she was a manager... anyway she took our order and left.. brought back drinks and then we waited for our food... as time went on i looked at my clock and noticed that me and my family had been sitting for an hour... I looked around and didnt see our server.. I waited and watched other ppl come and go after eating... and we had not yet gotten our food... I then got up and went to the front... a few girls helped to see where this person was.. I guess Michelle P. decided she as going to leave and go to the Store.. our food had been sitting up on the grill for 30 minutes and no one knew who's it was... they tried to scramble and make the best of it.. we even gave Yasmin a tip because she was tryn to make things right but i was still pissed. It wasn't yasmins job to do that. it was the manager of bob Evan MICHELLE P to do that! We never saw her again.. I ended up paying 20.00 which I feel like that was too much for the horrible service. I never got my sausage and by that time I was done with Bob Evans sucks cus ya have amazing hotcakes... all the sorry wasn't going to help becus the situation was so bazzar! So I called later that day and spoke with a gentlemen.. he says he was a manger.. he said he was sorry and wasnt sure what had happen. He also said that he would send me a 20.00 for cover what I paid. but as you can see I have not received anything yet. I held out on reviewing Bob Evans 71st Street Indianapolis Because I thought that talking with someone would make things better! For now on I am only going to Cracker Barrel!!! its a done deal!

Bad morning for them. Not terribly busy when we entered but took almost 40 minutes for two breakfast orders that were served wrong. Asked for eggs sunny side up and have no idea what I got, looked like two poached that they fried to cover up the mistake. They and the plate were soaking wet and rubbery beyond being edible. Same with a side of French toast, maybe thirty seconds on the grill? No where near cooked. Asked for manager and she politely agreed and comped the entire order. I then had to go get breakfast somewhere else...

I have not had much luck at this particular Bob Evans location. We visited here in Oct 2012 and the food and service were so bad that I asked to speak to the manager. Service took forever, food was cold and inedible and was so sloppy and unappealing I suggested to the manager that there were many opportunities for someone in the kitchen (including our server) to decide this wasn't something a customer should be served. The manager told us to give them another chance and to come back after their interior remodel that was happening in the last 6 weeks of the year. So, we came for dinner tonight around 8pm. There were only two other tables occupied - a very slow night. I ordered the wildfire BBQ half chicken but they were out of chicken for the next 3 or 4 days because of some ordering mistake. So, I ordered the wildfire BBQ salmon filet. My husband ordered the pot pie w/mac n' cheese and my daughter a cheeseburger and side salad. When our food came to the table, there was no BBQ sauce on my salmon nor any BBQ dipping sauce and the salmon "filet/steak" was in 5 pieces. Even a novice restaurant cook should be able to cook a salmon filet/steak and plate it in one piece. It was dry and the outside was overcooked with no seasoning or sauce. It came with steamed broccoli and the bottom of the florets were brown. I started to feel a bit aggravated and the server has the manager come over. He said they don't normally put BBQ sauce on the wildfire BBQ salmon. I explained how we came for the BBQ chicken but they were out of it so I ordered the BBQ salmon. I was disappointed to see how unappealing the salmon was once it came to the table...I said that "Frankly, I could cook it this badly at home." He was nice and offered to get me something else or cook it the way I wanted. I didn't have the confidence that they could cook it correctly so I opted to have him take the dinner away and I did not reorder. My husband and daughter both enjoyed their food so score two points for that. However, it appeared that I was having the same conversation about food quality and appearance AGAIN! This seems to be a recurring thing at this location but I can say that the Bob Evans on Rockville Road is almost always very, very good and I would happily go to this location even if it is 10 times the distance from our house.

This is a newer Bob Evans, very clean and has a nice interior appearance. I have dined here twice for lunch recently, good service and great breakfast menu. Nothing wrong with this place, if you like Bob's, eat here and enjoy!

I come here occasionally for a lunch at work. They can get you in and out quickly. The staff are usually nice and try to talk to you outside of the menu. Clean building and a good place to work offsite they offer wifi for free.

On our way back from Indy, fiance and I decided to grab breakfast here. Yes, on Mother's Day--we live on the edge. Although we were quoted a 15 minute wait, it was a bit more than that. Not too much more, though. Once seated, the service was fantastic. We were served quickly, our orders were perfect, and we got refills immediately. The food was typical, yummy, artery-clogging Bob Evans fare. I couldn't resist the loaded hash browns and I don't regret it one bit--the green onions were surprisingly delicious and fresh. My only qualm is I wish the table would have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly before we were seated. While I understand the Mother's Day rush at a Bob Evans is absolutely ridiculous, I didn't really like sticking to the table, either.

We stopped today for a bathroom break on a road trip. My husband asked about a Gluten Free Menu while he waited on me. They have one that has many items! We decided to try it for lunch. We are glad we did! Our waitress, Jacqui, was excellent! She was friendly, patient, and precise in taking info down about my meal! I felt safe ordering my meal. I spoke to manager about cc issues. He was knowledgeable and very helpful as well. GOOD JOB!!!!! Thank you, Patricia

This is probably my top choice for breakfast style chain restaurant. My kids choose Bob Evans as their favorite too. We love their eggs, bacon, hash brown and their pancakes. I know everywhere I travel, I will (almost) always receive the same quality of food and service - whether you are in Indiana or Ohio or West Virginia :-)) My husband and I go to this particular location for lunch often, well maybe every 2-3 months. The service is always friendly and prompt. The dining area is normally clean, lighting and interior is bright, and seating area is nice and comfortable. I know the food is a little bit greasy and the menu is standard all American breakfast - but they are good. My favorite is The Rise and Shine - it's good for breakfast, or lunch or early dinner. The veggie omelet is pretty good too. Unlike many other popular new breakfast/brunch places, the price tag won't break your bank.
