Stopped here on my way across the turnpike, and I'm really glad I did! The sauce was some of the best I've ever had, and the restaurant and town were nothing but pleasant. The owner even stopped to talk and sat down with us. If I'm ever in the area, I would certainly come back!

I have to say that the pizza here is among some of the best I have ever had.... You MUST have their pizza if you are in the area. The house signature dish is Lasagna and I really enjoyed it. The owner stops by the tables to chat and make sure that everything is tasty. My only complaints are both very minor. One, the salad bar is strictly iceberg lettuce with limited fixings. Also, while I appreciated the live music (there is a pianist playing during dinner), it was a little bit loud and distracting. Definitely a must if you are in Howe Indiana area!

Staff was amazing, Italian beef sandwich was mid grade. I would recommend the pizza, another at my table had a 12" personal pizza and it looked phenomenal. Once the weather breaks they open up the patio for outside dining, they also have piano nights, I was not there for the Piano experience, but would definitely stop by to check it out at least once.

Went here for pizza with friends from the lake, and it was delicious! I had the Hawaiian pizza. It was delicious; it just melted in my mouth! Based on that experience, we decided to come back for lunch. I took the buffet. It's a great choice because you get to try several of their specialties. If you go for lunch, I recommend coming a little early. When we arrived, there was only one other couple in the restaurant. Within 20 minutes, the place was mobbed! I guess the locals know it's a good spot to eat.

My boyfriend and I traveled to Howe on a weekend vacation and stopped here for some pizza. We got there around 6:30 pm and were seated immediately. The service was friendly and quick. We ordered a 14" Garden Pizza. It was definitely in my top 3 best pizzas I've ever eaten. The lady playing the piano made the restaurant seem homey and the chef (who I think is the owner) came to our table and asked us how our pizza was. He went around the whole room. It was a personable experience and anytime I'm in Howe or near I'll stop here!

Very nice restaurant, especially for a small town. Great and friendly service, even though they were very busy and short-handed for the holiday. Salad bar was a bit meh, but the spinach ravioli's made up for it. I was going to shoot a picture of my plate, but it was empty before my phone made it back to my hand. Mmmm... They had live piano music too. Pretty neat!

Our table shared a garden pizza, a pepperoni pizza, a plate of gnocchi, the chicken risotto special, and a bottle of wine. Everything was very good. Our meal experience was improved by some live piano music being played. One person at our table ordered a cannoli for dessert; although I didn't have any, it looked delicious. Before leaving, we met the owners who were very friendly.

Food was very good. We ate on back patio. They do have a beer / wine license. They had a lady playing piano. Would def go back.

What a pleasant surprise in a sweet little town! Amazing bread sticks and pizza in a place that feels like my grandmas house!

Pasta, pizza, and sandwiches are the fare here. It's in a really old building right across from the town square, that reeks of history. I had the baked spaghetti with a meatball. Not too familiar with baking spaghetti, but it was really good. Garlic bread was uninspiring, salad was good, and the Italian red wine was a great deal at $14.00. The dessert menu looked amazing! If I had not been doing take-out, I would have tried one of the incredible sounding desserts. Very good small town Italian restaurant.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
