Why did we wait so long to come here. By far the BEST Buffalo Chicken sandwich and fish N chips we have had. Everything is hand breaded and cooked to order. The chicken was very thick & juicy cooked to perfect temp. We opted to upgrade to fries and onion rings and were not disappointed. Definitely got our money's worth. The service was very friendly and attentive. GREAT beer list and love all the local choices of draft beer. Although a drive, we will be back! Want to try the specialty flat bread pizzas.

I went to this place this afternoon at around 4 PM. I ordered a miller light (tap, tall) and a salmon salad. The clientele were friendly, blue-collar, red-blooded American types, so that was cool. The female bartender there was very cute with her red or auburn hair. Unfortunately she is married. HA! The salad and the dressing were excellent! It all cost around $20 but was worth it. I will go back again, maybe tonight! I live right next to the place so I may go back to get smashed with neighborhood friends and then walk home (don't drink and drive!). The bar is a bit small, and it has a more open environment than a cozy environment, like those small-town bars have. But somehow it works. I like it! :)

The bartender with purple hair has a major staring issue. I have never felt so uncomfortable at a restaurant. I couldn't even finish my food. It's like she wanted to punch me. And she doesn't know how to make a margarita!

I really enjoy this local bar and restaurant. Brandy the bartender does a terrific job. She is always friendly and welcoming. She is an asset to the business. Cocktails are great, food is good. I would like to see some new menu items but I do enjoy the restaurant.

Today was my first visit. This restaurant is wonderful. The gumbo is better than anything you'd find in New Orleans! The owner, Craig, was very kind and accommodating to my wheelchair bound father. Very nice man. Food and service were excellent. This would be a great place to stop on your way home from work. Right off I-65.

The pretzel rolls are to die for! I highly recommend them. I also had a burger and fries and it was great. My friends had the fish and it was huge! A great place to eat in Greenwood.

I really like this place. I wouldn't think to eat here because the location is kind of inconvenient to get to and the inside is not anything impressive but the food is really good and I like their appetizers. It's classic bar food but I really like it here.

Came here before a wedding reception for a couple drinks. They had a great group of micro brews that our entire party tried. The owner popped by the table to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction and even talked about my hometown baseball team. We decided to grab some appetizers. The pretzel and sticks and beer cheese were great but I loved the pickle chips. I've had them in numerous bars across different states and these rate in my top 3. Great place and I'll be back when I come to town for Gencon.

This place is a winner! If I lived closer, it would be in the regular rotation. Tonight was the second time I've been here. The first time I had potato skins appetizer and a steak salad (black & Bleu maybe? Can't remember the name) but both were great as was the service. Came again tonight, and had loaded potato soup and the pub melt appetizer. Between the two, I was feeling full, but was wishing I as ordered a bowl instead if a cup if the soup. Kyle, the server, was attentive, nice enough to talk to, and made sure my cup was never empty. I don't understand why this place isn't hopping. It's clean (menus, tables, booths, floors and even the bathrooms are nearly impeccable) the food is great, cocktails are spot on, lots of TVs for the game and everyone is nice. Wish there was more places like this where I live!

We enjoyed a great lunch at Main Street Grille when we were visiting our future home of Greenwood. It was a very nice, comfortable place to have some good ol' diner type food. The big "however" is that the food quality is way higher than diner food. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area.

Good Bloody Mary's! I had the grilled chicken ciabatta with hollandaise, it was ok. Went on a Sunday afternoon so it was empty. Good service.

10 drafts along with an array of bottled beer and a full bar. I ordered a 1/2 pound cheeseburger and was surprised at the promptness at which it came out. It was Christmas Eve and they were about halfway full. Friendly service and well placed tvs at the bar.

Nice place to grab a bite to eat for lunch. The staff was very friendly and they even remembered me and my drink order from my first visit. The food is good, staff is nice, service is quick, and the place is clean, what more could you want?

We stopped in on a Sunday early evening; it was about full. Pleasant room, nothing special. When I get back to Indiana I like to have a breaded tenderloin sandwich; what I think of as the state sandwich. So I ordered one, in those words, and the steamed vegies and a Broken Nuckle beer. My wife had a grilled fish sandwich with lemon butter on ciabatta and iced tea. My "breaded" tenderloin was not breaded! It wasn't bad and there was a lot of vegie to go on it and it was large enough but it wasn't what I wanted and it didn't taste as good as it should have. The steamed vegies were good as was my wife's sandwich and her iced tea. Beyond my soso sandwich the other reason for a mediocre rating was that we sat and sat waiting for the waiter. Waiting for a menu, waiting to order, waiting for a bill, waiting for him to take our bill. We were not in a hurry but if we had been it would have been terrible. I doubt we'll come back even though we'll probably stay nearby again.

Food is horrible. Pre cooked no flavor. Drinks dont even taste right. I dont see how the business even had the amount of people it had in it

Most of the time I see a place like this from the road, and I don't go. You know that small corner bar and grill concept where somebody that should never run a restaurant and bar comes into money and looses it all in the restaurant business and it shuts down in 2-3 years because they don't have a clue. WELL, this time this is not the case. I have been eating here for about three months and have tried several items and they were either really good or excellent. Really good food, fresh ingredients, prepared and served by people with standards all for a fair price. Daily lunch specials are $7.99 and you get a drink and fries. By the way, when I say fries, you get a nice size pile of really good fries that are lightly seasoned. Monday is some type of chicken that I never had and most likely won't ever have. Tuesday is tenderloin sandwich which is big and taste great. The problem is this place has the nerve to actually put the correct amount of tasty seasoning in the batter. Wow what a concept! Most places the breading is just bland and boring. What rebels to serve excellent seasoned food. Wednesday is Reuben. This is a really good sandwich. I've had it twice. First time was perfect, and second time tasted a little different but still good. Thursday is burger day. I have had it and it is decent but not anything special. The best day of the week is Friday. They have a fish sandwich on Friday that is awesome. I get the Cajun seasoning batter fried fish sandwich which is awesome. I have had it many times. It gets a perfect rating and is highly recommended. I know food that is seasoned what a weird concept. Must be some real crazy people working there to come up with this idea that people might like properly seasoned food. I went there on a Sunday and had the fish and chips platter for $11.99 and I was not disappointed. You see folks a few places will actually take fresh fish and put it into homemade seasoned batter and fry it in clean oil. Each piece is shaped differently and is not uniformed which is a good thing. Please don't run away screaming. I know just another crazy concept. It is tough for some cookie cutter chain restaurant eating individuals to understand these way out there concepts but those people think all food should come out of a box in the freezer and thrown into old nasty oil prepared by somebody who doesn't give a dam@, so that you get this oily bland tasting fish that so many people seem to like. However the good thing at chain restaurants is that each piece of fish is shaped exactly the same and is guaranteed to have no flavor and they usually charge more than $11.99 with 8 bland boring fires on the side. If you hate chain restaurants and think for yourself and are not manipulated by millions of dollars in TV commercials to make yourself think you have to eat crappy overpriced food at some chain restaurant, I am one of you. Let's all keep supporting the true food scene in Indy.

The food was great! The problem was that we had a party of 10, arrived right at 11 when they opened, and it took 40 minutes to get our food. This made things really tense as we had to be back at work by noon.... The server tried really hard to expedite things. We should have told her from the beginning we only had 45 minutes, but since we were the only people there we weren't worried...

I went to this local bar for the first time last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and delicious bar food. Usually I don't expect much from bar food, but the dragon fingers and chicken asparagus sandwich were exceptional. I went here tonight, and again, had wonderful service and above average bar food! I am a picky eater and the menu options allowed for everyone's favorites. There were also more beer choices than I had expected! Overall, I was delightfully surprised by the service, food, and local company of the place!

We had the tenderloin sandwich, a Reuben ( I asked them to put coleslaw on it instead of sauerkraut which they did), Lobster bisque soup, and a hot dog kids meal. Everything was wonderful and tasted great! Only been here twice but have really liked the food both times!

Tried this place for the first time last night. It's small, but we had a seat immediately. Drinks were served right away, and our server was very attentive. We had the pickle chips for an appetizer, these were maybe the best I have ever had. I followed that up with some very good French onion soup. My wife had the buffalo chicken sandwich and was quite happy with her choice. I had the blue cheese burger and it was also a winner. Overall, our experience couldn't have been much better. We will return.

Solid food, cold beers, and reasonable prices. Their carribean jerk sandwich and their lunch special at 7.99 keep me coming back. There are plenty of TVs to watch, and the people at the bar are always friendly. I enjoy eating here about every other week

Great to have another non-chain on the Southside. The fries are probably the best around - crispy. Had the tenderloin, which was great, and they have Flat 12 and Sun King on tap. Good coleslaw, too. This place definitely has some promise.

As a former server I don't typically write reviews, but this is the 2nd time we've left this restaurant wondering what the heck is wrong with the bartender/server?! She is definitely a little off...perhaps over medicated?! Ordered a margarita and beer...she came back to the table because she forgot what we said. Told her again...she came back with a Long Island iced tea. She said a few inappropriate things, including coming to our table after we found a hair in our food to TALK about said hair while we were eating. Hair in the food happens...I get it, but let's not discuss it please! I left a 20% tip because she did visit our table several times to see how we were doing. The food is decent enough to come back, but I don't know that I would rave about it. We had a grilled fish sandwich and Jamaican pulled pork. No complaints for either. Good fries! We will probably be back because I like to support local business...just hoping they UP their service game next time! Also, this restaurant has a small patio area, which is something we are always searching for during these gorgeous spring days. Nice perk!

Good Patty Melt. Needed salt, but I would rather that than too much salt. Really no big deal. Side of fries was more than I expected. A nice surprise. Wife had Fried Tenderloin sandwich which she thinks is better than Oaken Barrel. Service was good. Short wait for food. Overall it was good enough to want me to come back.

Wow this bar has some great food. I started with the fried portobella, very good. Then I was in a tenderloin mood and wanted something unhealthy! Its not your typical paper thin tenderloin, it has meat! This is a thick tenderloin and the bun is tasty as well. The bar is rather small bu had no problem finding a seat on a Saturday.

Had a Groupon to try it out. We loved it. Super fresh tasty food. Friendly staff. Great experience. We'll be back there soon. Much better than most bar food.

I gotta agree with the Yelp critics... 4 stars. They have good food with a descent beer list. They have plenty of TV's and if they don't have your game on just ask and they will change it. They do seem to turn staff so their service is inconsistent. If you like wings, you'll like theirs. Give em a try.

Went here in the summer. Great place, has a nice intimate feel. Food was pretty good, nothing stood out though. Plan to go back at some point.

2 & 1/2 stars. Food ok, beer questionable, atmosphere ok, service ok but weird. Two of us for lunch @ 12:45 on a week day. Not many other diners at this time. Music was blaring. We asked the waitress about their beer. Her reply, "We have a lot." We eyed the Flat 12 tap and asked which one it was and were told, "I don't know, its Flat 12." So, I went up to the bar to check out the taps myself. About 10 beers on tap. Approx 3 local beers, 2 more decent craft beers and the rest were pee pee. We ordered some locals, Sun King & Flat 12. The beers had an antiseptic smell & taste to them which I know was not from the beers themselves but had to be from the glasses or tap lines(?) For lunch I ordered chili & a side of fries and asked for a bottle of hot sauce (for the chili). Blank stare from the waitress. Me, "Hot sauce, you know, like Tabasco." Waitress gave a faint perceptible nod. Me, "I'll just take any bottle of hot sauce you have." Waitress's reply, "Yeah, but you can't take it with you." And, she was serious. ??REALLY?? Their menu is unexciting. But, actually the food was all right. Nothing special or memorable but we really had no legitimate food complaints. I'd compare their food to any of the chains like Chilis or Max & Ermas, etc. The chili was served in a very large coffee cup. Lots of meat & beans, a decent basic chili but it needed more seasoning/spice. We also had a philly steak sandwich with a side of home fries. The sandwich was pretty good but also needed more flavor, more pizzazz! But, the home fries were actually the best part of our meals. They were perfectly fried and very crispy without being dry. Would I return to this establishment? Probably not but I wouldn't be totally against it. Do I see this place being around very long? I doubt it. But, with some changes it could have potential.

This is a new restaurant that has opened near our office in Greenwood. It was obvious from the beginning it wasn't a chain restaurant because there were no trained staff that had transferred from another location. They were all a little over whelmed at first but the food was always decent and the atmosphere is perfect for a business lunch. They have alot of basic bar and grill food and it's all pretty good. The past couple weeks they have really started to get it together. The staff is prompt and knowledgeable. Management came to the table to be sure all our needs were tended too. Best of all they told us they have a new kitchen manager and he let us sample a couple of the new appetizers. I highly recommend the "dragon fingers"! They are basically just tender breaded chicken fingers with an amazing glaze/sauce that has just the right amount of kick. Very flavorful! The shrimp appetizer was outstanding as well. I've been very impressed with my past 2 lunch orders also. The pesto chicken sandwich and the fish sandwich both with the best fries in town were solid efforts. The salad is a bargain at $5.00 and will fill you up for sure. No question the Grille is headed in the right direction. I'm looking forward to the new menu items.

We ate here last Friday evening and the food was wonderful ! Had the breaded tenderloin with onion rings, then a hot fudge brownie sundae, sister-in-law had lemon meringue pie, both were very tasty. Not the best but very good. The only complaint, alot of conversation was heard from the kitchen, didn't need to know all the issues from the "back of the house". Will return and have recommended it to several people as well. I think they will do well, we need something like this in town.

I tried the tenderloin since it was talked about several times in reviews. It was not as big as the pictures I saw but it was good. The fries were terrible, so the bartender offered me another side. I chose the baked beans which tasted like Bush's from a can. Not as bad as the fries but still disappointing. The bartender was very nice and the place appeared clean. Not sure if I will return the next time I'm in town.

We visited Main Street Grille on a whim because of how close it was to our hotel. It's pretty much what you would expect from a small bar & grill. The menu was minimal (that's why I gave it 4 stars). I ordered fried pickles (very good) and the southwest black bean burger which was also very good. Another in my party ordered wings and wasn't impressed. All in all it was decent. Our waiter was pretty cool. Mainly because his beard. Hana, enjoy.

The wife & I decided to give Main St. A try tonight & we are very glad we did. Good food ( I had a tenderloin with onion rings & she had pulled pork)that came out quickly, great service, clean dining area & met the friendly caring owner. To top it off they have beer from Taxman which clinched it for the wife. Will definitely be in our south side rotation.
