Cool place. I love how the my have set it up. Prices are good and food is good as well. Great place to go to on s nice evening and sit outside and enjoy your food or an adult beverage. The brisket sandwich is my favorite. Try it and you'll see why!

Place was awesome. Small craft brewery nestled near downtown goshen. Although I didn't get the chance to eat there the beer was excellent. I had an IPA that was extremely delicious and they also have the coolest tap system (with some on nitro) in front of a red brick wall which is cool to look at. They sell really decorative growlers and is right next to a nice stream. Awesome spot and location!

This place has a very cool location. Old building, pub style seating, family friendly, and plenty of parking, and out-door seating. The cons: The ceilings are low and it can get pretty noisy plus the building is tiny. For me I go to a brewery for great beer so... The beer is just okay. The best was the black IPA. The rest I've already forgotten. Food is a bit pricey for a family style place not to mention It's so so. Pro's: They use local grown and raised foods when possible.

Started with the Millrace Hefe. Great flavor and body. Nice unfiltered Hefe. They recommended the Smoked Chicken Pad Thai to eat. WOW! It was their special of the day and boy, you need to try this! Smoky flavor to the chicken, great fresh cilantro on top. Phenomenal! We both had this and got orders to go for tomorrow. If it's on the menu, look no further. Their other food is probably good, but this was Outstanding! Also tried the nitro Stout. Very nice and smooth. Too full for anything else besides a sample of The Grind brown. I'll be having a proper glass of that next time we come in!

Awesome beer, brewed on the premises as it should be! The black IPA is almost as good as Greenbush's. Food options are great too, I had the fennel cole slaw and grilled goat cheese. Outdoor patio, family dining, friendly staff, the food comes out fast.

Great craft brews here. Big fan of the Menno-Mighty IPA as well as their Dark IPA. Had the black beans & bacon as well as the mac n' cheese. Both were stellar starters, and combined for a modest meal.

Ordering beer at the bar and food at the window limits the table conversation that develops from reviewing a menu as a group. Food and beer were very good.

If you're coming for the beer, you're in luck. If you're coming for the food, you're in luck. Farm to Fork. Locally grown hops. All is good at the GBC. The people are extremely nice and the building is very cool.

Great place and great beers. They have done a lot of hard work to fill an obvious void in the Goshen food scene. I would however like to offer two suggestions. 1. We need a burger, simply put a burger is a must have menu item for a place like this. 2. Give me a three step wall graphic right when you come in the door to explain the self serve function. (1. Order Food 2. Order Beer 3. Find a seat). The trouble wasn't that the place is self serve it was that I had to figure that out. You already have some cool wall graphics, just give us a cool / functional graphic as you come in the door (so you will have to move the certification / permit stuff, that's okay) I hope these reviews are read and truly considered. I will definitely go back and look forward to many a good meal in this place!!!

Made a stop while visiting Goshen. I like how they repurposed the NIPSCO building. It has a modern industrial feel. It's a nice place to meet up. I only tried the brews and no food on this trip. I tried the Stonebridge Stoud, the Menno-Mighty, Highland Stranger, Old Soul, Heritage Kolsch, and something coffee that I really liked but can't remember the name. The Menno somewhat reminded me of Blue Moon. I enjoyed the Heritage Kolsch. Had great service, and the staff was really sociable. They had some really nice hand crafted growlers for sale.

I believe this place has only been open for a few weeks now, but I would have nothing negative to say. The staff was friendly and very attentive, offering conversation and recommendations, as well as some very interesting history of the building and surrounding property (Former NIPSCO switch building.....). The GBCo. has a very industrial modern feel but manages to maintain an open and inviting feeling. There are many small touches to the decor (concrete bar top, hanging Edison bulbs, a NIPSCO switch, NIPSCO first aid kit...) that reflect the same attention to detail one finds in their brews and food. I paired the Menno-Mighty with the beef brisket sandwich....and it was delicious! Chips come with the sandwich but spring for the fries because they are worth it. Definitely going back to try more of the brews....!

Nice reycling of a historic building - contemporary but with nods to the past. Pretty setting - friendly people - BUT - too noisy (but thank god - no TV's - couln't imagine the noise level then). Very limited menu - not too much to apeeal to those of us not considered 'gourmets' French Fries are excellent though... Beers have promise, but still needs work - If you don't drink beer but want to go with friends - not much else to drink if you are eating food - somehow Root Beer or Black Cherry soda does not go with their menu. I would have killed for a glass of good ice Black Tea!!! Location great - will visit again in a few months to see if they expand menu a bit and add eiher Ice Tea, Coke or Pepsi as drink options.

Great addition to Goshen. Seating inside for about 50 people including one large community table, outside open deck seating as well. I sampled a pulled pork sandwich and the beef brisket sandwich. Both were tasty but the pork was my favorite, excellent flavor with outstanding slaw. The fries are okay, but the aioli made them above average. My drink was an IPA - the Mighty Menno. The one negative for some people will be its totally self serve. You order food at a window and drinks at the bar, apparently that allows them to have kids in the restaurant. If you're in the area give the place a try.

By far one of the best breweries I've been to, hands down! Friendly staff, community vibe and great service. I was just visiting Goshen for the weekend but the people at Goshen Brewery welcomed me like family. Obviously, being a brewery, the beer takes the center stage. Great selection and variety. Sure to provide a great option for even the pickiest of beer drinkers (or even for those who don't drink often!). Varieties range from Scotch Ale to IPA (American/Black) to Hoppy Wheat to Kolsch to Hefeweizen... and more. Beer menu is constantly being updated as well. Spoke to the brewmaster, Jesse, whom is very knowledgeable of his craft and receptive to feedback. The food is an added bonus. I read a comment mentioning the price of the food items. You gotta keep in mind, Goshen Brewery uses organic and locally grown ingredients. You can be sure you are getting top quality and not some processed factory produced meal. Overall, Goshen Brewery is definitely a place worth checking out. Looking forward to the next time I'm in the area! Worth the trip!

This place is cool, however the starters aren't really starters.I have really grown to love this place! I sill feel however that they need to change their menu a little, food is a little high.I have to edit my previous review,I recently tried this place again and feel like I have to give them another star ! I had a really good experience there and think the food and beer is really good!Keep it up Goshen Brewing!

I ordered the brisket sandwich, it was fatty. I'm sorry but $13 for a sandwich and chips is too high for the quality.

Really good food-the fries are a must! Everything was really fresh and cooked perfectly and the beer was awesome. Good atmosphere on the outdoor patio. We'll definitely be back.

So here it goes. I had high hopes for this place and was eager to patronize their establishment. First of all its not a bad location, cool building and large patio. First impressions...no wait staff, totally self serve. I mean to get food you go up to order, to get beer you go up to order and to get merchandise you go up to order. There is one chalk board in the whole place to list beers and no printed beer menu for outside guests. It's small inside and so loud you can't hardly think because everything echoes off the wall and low ceiling. I'm literally yelling to communicate with my party. Sadly the worst is the beer...slightly flavored water and no body to it. I mean I tried all 10 beers they had hoping for a great one but they were way under par and I think they all weighed in at under 6% except a couple. I won't comment on food because I didn't dare get any thinking that I may actually have to go in the kitchen and prepare it myself being a self service brew pub. Come on Goshen...you can do better and offer more!
