1st let me say that this is a combination of a few visits . I've eaten there at the bar on my own and have found warm and friendly atmosphere. Food has been good at a fair price. However the last two visits in the dining room with my wife have been identical and poor experiences. Both times dining room was busy. food ordered was simple, chicken tenders, mushroom caps, salads with the most extensive item walleye, fried. Both meals took 75mins to be served. 1st time excuse, waitress shift change, ticket lost. Got free apps 2nd time they were breaking in a new cook, ALONE ! Free Apps Only so many times. My assessment, not enough waitstaff for the crowd, Something is wrong in the kitchen, management is scimping. In both cases the waitresses apologized profusely, this appeared not their fault. My wife refuses to return. A shame a neighborhood icon is failing their standards.

Dandino's has been a long-standing establishment in Goshen. I've been there a few times in my life. Most recently, I went with my mom and grandma when I was visiting my family. We went for lunch on a Monday. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Let me start out by saying that their lunch dishes are very inexpensive! The three of us ate lunch for less than $20! Amazing! I ate a cup of the Portobello Mushroom Soup and a BLT. The soup was ok. Not piping hot, like it should have been. The BLT was enormous! I should have ordered a salad... I gave a few slices of bacon to my mom for her salad and left a few slices on my plate and still had more than enough bacon on the sandwich. It was tasty though. My mom's salad looked like iceberg lettuce - it definitely didn't have leafy green romaine lettuce like I'm used to. Her cheesy potato soup was delish though. I would have ordered that over the mushroom soup... and would have enjoyed it more. If I remember correctly, dinner is more expensive. They have lots of steak and seafood dishes. For Goshen, it's an ok place to eat... but I would rather drive to Elkhart or even Mishawaka to eat at a better restaurant. I'm used to living in the big city now and driving 30-45 minutes to eat somewhere isn't unusual.

Been there twice recently and both times, everything we ordered was very good. They now have a menu with many more entrees than ever. The complimentary cheese and crackers appetizer is a nice touch. We ate in the bar both times and the service was excellent.

Have greatly improved. Took family and noticed much better customer service. Change of ownership and you can tell. In Goshen there are not a bunch of choices. I am glad to see that this place is making much better food. I gave it a five star rating for the town it is in. In most cities it would be a four star

This place has a new owner and menu. The food was AMAZING! The service was outstanding as well.

Meh.. Limited menu, fancy high priced food for a lounge, lunch items not available for dinner. Ordered a Pepsi, browsed the menu, and left to go someplace else.

My wife, son (5yrs old) and I all ordered cheeseburgers. My son had one bite and said he "Should have ordered something else." My wife commented that they had no flavor. While I was eating mine, it fell apart and I had to switch to a knife and fork. My wife was right, they were really bland. The server asked if everything was good, I told her that they were kinda bland and mine fell apart. She gave me a fake shocked looked and said "oh, ok" then walked away. I ate all of mine because I will pretty much eat anything but my wife left half of her's untouched and my son only took the one bite. The place was busy so apparently they do something right, it's just not the burgers. We won't be back.
