I wouldn't call myself a regular, but I have spent many a lunch/ late night drinks at the Chatham Downtown. When I found out that I could have those delicious fries right around the corner from my job? Elated. Sometimes you get a product that isn't up to the OG standard when you visit a sister restaurant, bu that is not the case with Chatham Fishers. The food is just as excellent, and the seating arrangement is even better!

Food is definitely decent, atmosphere is good, nice patio for those beautiful summer nights. Cheers

A+

Chatham's is an excellent establishment for you to try. * Food selection - Menu includes both healthy selections and traditional bar food. However, each item has a delicious spin and both are inventive and tasty. * Service - Excellent. Even during busy times the staff is efficient and fast. Sit at the bar and you will be treated like a regular if it's your 1st or 100th time * Restaurant - Chatham's offers a variety of experiences. The outside offers shade and is sheltered by shrubs enough to feel like you aren't sitting directly on 116th. Inside has set-off tables and sectioned off rooms. The layout offers a wide variety of nooks and crannies. The architecture and decor provides a cozy neighborhood atmosphere. You will not be disappointed with the variety of brews both on tap and bottled. The staff is very knowledgeable on all spirits and will offer excellent recommendation. I highly recommend Chatham's for a quick bite, a leisurely lunch or dinner, a drink after work or a late night snack. Great place to watch football of either the USA or European variety.

This is a good 2nd edition of the Mass Ave Chatham Tap. Also, the service is a lot faster and friendlier. Fish and chips here are as good as the Mass Ave location and that's no small feat. The interior decor really makes you forget that you're in suburban Fishers. Very pub-by.

Loved this place! As always, Yelp gave us a great suggestion. Hummus is awesome, as is the reuben and fish and chips. I really want to try the steak and egg sandwich next time - looks amazing!

The nachos were the surprise of this meal. We ordered it as an appetizer, and I was floored by the overall quality and originality. The chips had a baked taste, with lots of fresh cut jalapeño and pico. My burger was nicely prepared, and it was very thick. Almost a little too thick, actually, but who's complaining. Service was fast and friendly.

Chatham Tap is a nice, relaxed pub-style bar in a nicer strip mall in Fishers. For my meeting here, our group only had beer, so I can't remark on the food. Our server was attentive and friendly. I'm told they have the best selection of British beers you'll find in this area.

  • DeAnna P.

The same delicious menu as the downtown Indy location, but larger, with better service, and kid-friendly!!!! Even on Friday nights, they have drink specials. And their fish and chips is pretty hard to beat.

Good selection of beer, and a pretty large menu, although I almost always get the smoked gouda apple melt---it has APPLES! It's HEALTHY! I wish their outdoor seating had a bit more ambiance, but I'm not sure that's possible with 116th St. traffic whizzing by. Overall, one of the better places (there aren't too many, and I hope that is remedied soon!) to get your drink on in Fishers.

Let me start by saying, I'm in LOVE with the Mass Ave Chatham, so forgive me if I am a bit critical of this locale. I went here on a lunch date on a Tuesday afternoon, and sat at the bar. Our server was nice, but forgot to bring our waters out to us, and then passed us off to another bartender...but forgot to tell the bartender that he was going to be helping us. I usually go for the tenderloin but I tried something different this time (grilled chicken sandwich...forget official name!) and I was just lukewarm about it. I was hoping that this location would have the same cool/European soccer-y vibe as the downtown location, and I'm sad to report that this is more of what I expected from your typical sports bar. I'm sure I'll be back for more lunch eats, but I hope that they can get in on what makes the Mass Ave location so awesome!

Cool local spot to grab a beer after work or have something to eat. Have never had dinner here (just beer and appetizers) and have never had any issue with the food or the service. Very good selection of beer...ask the server for a recommendation on something different to expand your hop horizons. Eclectic crowd in general..after work peeps, families, couples, singles, etc. Sort of a pain in the ass to park in their lot when the place is full. Nice outdoor seating area along 116th weather permitting. And if you like soccer (football) then this is the place for you. This place will be full when the World Cup starts...plan accordingly. Are the Colts on yet??

After a wonderful trip to the downtown location, I was very disappointed in the Fishers Chatham Tap. The food was not as appetizing as what I remember from the downtown location and portions were small. There was a $1.75 upcharge for sweet potato fries and they literally served me 10 unevenly cooked fries with my sandwich. Yes, I counted and they were cold in the middle. I would definitely give downtown another shot, but not this location.

Walked into the bar to grab a beer at 10:30.. Their door says they close at 1. A lot of the chairs were up but there were enough people at the bar. I asked if they were closed and the bartender replied "Kinda." Kinda? Talk about customer service.

  • Amy M.

Hey, son wanted to go there for lunch. Was prepared to spend money and time in your establishment. Walked in. Waitress advised yes you did have outdoors seating, went out and sat down. Waited. Guy came out and said we had to leave, section was closed. Guess what, it would've saved us the embarrassment and humiliation of having to walk through your establishment twice and be looked at by everyone if you would've told us that to begin with. You lose. Not only did you not get my time and money, you lost a customer.

For Hoosiers, the only thing that should separate you from watching a soccer game in an English pub is a few thousand bucks, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and the Atlantic Ocean. Well, not exactly--especially once you've discovered the Chatham Tap. The pub is much like what you'd find in England, minus the accents. It is (fairly) quaint, they have a great selection of hearty European beers, and great pub food. While on the topic of the food, Chatham Tap's offerings seem more American than English. That is a good thing. What's more English than American is their bathroom. It's a one seater; if you've been to a pub in Europe, you know what I mean. What can I say? It adds to the ambiance. For Indianapolis, a city that is somewhat new to the soccer scene, the Chatham Tap is the Indy Eleven post-game headquarters. They also host watch parties for our city's home team. The pub also offers a nice selection of local craft beers, which while not English, complement Indianapolis soccer nicely. In addition to the Indy Eleven, the Chatham Tap also shows broadcasts of the English Premier League, Champions League, and World Cup games. Soccer. Soccer. Soccer. Grab a pint. Watch a game. The Chatham tap may not actually be in England, but you might just be fooled.

I came here for the World Cup finals, so I kind of figure that I had a different experience than normal. That being said, I really enjoyed this spot. Having recently relocated to central Indiana, and I loved this bar. They had a great beer selection. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted, and my waiter offered up options to meet my wants. He was so knowledgable and led me in the right direction! His name was Shawn, and he seemed like a beer master. We also ordered the cheese and gravy chips. Cheese fries are NEVER a bad idea. They were amazing, and according to the menu, they're "Doctor Recommended." So, go for it!

Randomly driving down 116th Street looking for a bite between events and no time to pull over and Yelp my options... Luckily, Chatham was there for the weary traveler. Granted, this female traveler was a bit out of place by herself and just looking for food... Yet the food found was good! The chicken lettuce wraps provided a surprising fresh Asian fusion option in a distinctly Euro Soccer atmosphere. Best for meeting friends for a no-kids outing.

  • Matt O.

This place is normally 4 stars but when they mess up your first drink, your dinner, and then you get an extremely flat beer from the tap and the bartender in the schmedium shirt with the beard proceeds to say that its supposed to taste that way, you drop to a 3. Hopefully this was a one time thing and not a poor class of new bartenders and servers. Only time will tell.

  • Kristie S.

Craft beers and bar food are what you come here for. My husband and I became regulars here. You can no doubt order anything on the menu and LOVE it. Breadsticks, wings, and fried mushrooms are probably favorites. The one in Fishers is family friendly; the one downtown is not. Both are excellent! Also, they're big on soccer, so if you're into that - this is your place.

    (5)
  • Adrienne G.

Yum-o! What a quaint little pub in Fishers. I have been several times and I can totally see how this place could become your local hangout. Great place to meet up with friends or catch the game - soccer game, that is! The food is fantastic as well. I would highly recommend their garlic pork tenderloin and the fish and chips. Also, their wings with their signature sauce are some of the best wings I have had in a long time. They have a huge list of sandwiches, some tasty sounding salads, a handful of juicy burgers and some great pizza options. I love that I live so close to this great restaurant. It will definitely become one of my top go-to places for some good grub!

    (4)
  • JJ G.

This place is great! Staff is excellent at making sure your taken care of and the food there is always fresh. The tuna sandwich is one of my favorites! In the summer we like to dine on the patio because they allow dogs outside. They are always updating beers and you will never have a bad seat if you are there for a game. They have TV's everywhere.

    (5)
  • Linda M.

Went there with about a party of 15. We were able to sit together. I ordered the apple and candied walnut salad. And I ate all of it -- amazingly for my size. Just the right amount of dressing too. First time ever for me: organic lettuce and candied walnuts. They were both awesome! Sometimes I bit into a green apple slice which was tart. I subbed the feta cheese for mozzarella and the raspberry walnut dressing for honey mustard. My perfect combo salad!

    (5)
  • Jen T.

Bleck! Avoid the salad with avocado and feta. Extremely plain. Only ingredients were those in the name and way too many onions. Drinks were ok, but the service was extremely mediocre. There are too many great restaurants and bars to settle for this one. I won't go back, especially if there's a chance I'll want to eat!

    (1)
  • Dianne T.

I've eaten at this location a handful of times. I really enjoy their sandwiches (I get the one with Pear and another with Apple) and talked my boyfriend into trying it. He hates trying new things but he liked it enough to go a second time with his coworkers. He ended up getting food poisoning so unfortunately we won't be back. I can't trust that other items are not maintained properly. 2 stars for atmosphere. The service is ok. Pretty slow during lunch time on a weekday when the place wasn't busy at all.

Looking for some food other than standard pub grub? Chatham Tap has some of the most unique and tasty dishes for lunch, dinner, or snacking while you watch some "football" the kind you play with your feet! Great pub for soccer watching on Saturdays and Sunday's with a good crowd and all the Barclays English Premiere League you can handle. Weekdays stop in for a beer and some FA Cup, Champions League, or European league play. Great folks, great beer and great food!

  • Ryan G.

This has been my go-to pub since moving into the area and I'm a fan! Here are the positives I've experienced so far: - It's recognizable! Whenever I mention it around town, people know it and have been favorable when talking about it. - The bartender remembered me on only my second visit. That's pretty impressive considering the fact that I wouldn't consider myself an outgoing and chatty person. - The prices are reasonable. I've not went during any happy hours, but they have good beers on tap and the prices are reasonable. - The TVs are massive. - The food is tasty. - There's plenty of bar space, but it still feels intimate. I think for the space available and what they're trying to do, they're doing a great job.

  • A B.

Food is good. Wings and fries are both very tasty. Good beer selection. My biggest problem is with the service. I have had more than one server act like they hate their jobs and seem annoyed because they have to work. Please drop the bad attitudes! Food is also sometimes slow to come out.

I'm on my way to becoming a regular at Chatham. Whether for a salad at lunch, beers after work, or breakfast at futbol on Saturday mornings. I love everything about this place. And... the breadsticks... my goodness, how could something so simple, be SO good?!?

  • John H.

Have driven by Chatham Tap easily 100+ times and never thought about given it a try.. so was craving buffalo wings and a cold beer.. With the great beer selection was hard to choose, but decided on a nice IPA. Decided to try their signature sauce.. it is really hard to describe not hot or sweet.. just a lot of flavor. Very unique and worth a try if you have never had them.. overall I will be back for their wings.

This is my favorite place in Fishers, IN. They do have the worlds best wings with signature sause. I bring all my friends from out of town here to eat. Pizza and cheese burgers are also great. I threw a birthday party for my wife here and rented out the back room. The manager was very friendly and accomadating. Wait staff is on the ball.

  • Angelo P.

Not thrilled. Went for dinner last Sunday. They were out of most of the tap beers on the menu. My oldest son and I orders fish and chips. The fish was really good and the fries were great. My wife ordered the ahi sandwich. Wafer thin ahi on s thick roll. My younger son ordered a burger medium well with bacon. Came medium rare with no bacon. We had to wait for the bacon. Server was nice. She took the bacon off our tab. Overall not bad pub food but I had high expectations after reading reviews. I'll say it looks Ike a great place to have a drink and watch sports. After a couple of beers the food probably would have rated much higher. (Of course the booze helps).

  • Flori P.

Been here quite too often lately.. And NEVER have had an issue with the server or food/drinks! No complaints here... Def a cool joint to hang esp if you're out on the patio on a nice evening! :)

The food has improved tremendously since their new chef has taken over the kitchen. The wings are plainly the best in northern indianapolis and superior to the emporium. They are crispy, juicy and the sauces are innovative. The rest of the menu shows similar innovation with respect to the classics like their fish and chips. The atmosphere is respectable. It is a good mixture of regulars, football fanatics and weekend warriors from the surrounding area. I personally find it a bit crowed during the weekend, but it lively and entertaining to say the least. I prefer to come right after work when there is a proper match on. The regular service is top notch. The bartenders are all great; they as well as the manager/part owner randy do a great social service by operating the joint. Chatham embodies that aspect of the pub where it serves as a space between work and the home that is still familiar. The more permanent waitstaff are not too bad as well, except for one of course but hey, every institution has one. My only real issue with their staffing would be that I would like to see some more white folk in the kitchen and I don't mean the chef:: This is always the sign of a quality institution in the midwest, one that doesn't have to rely on easily exploitable labor. But hey, it is the F and B business. To be real, I have had better food and service: But this place is an oasis in the cultural desert that is northern indianapolis. There are some real great folk here who care about their jobs and their customers and you should be so lucky to have a local like this.

Very good food, especially the sandwiches and pizza. Good beer selection and a friendly and prompt staff. Enter from parking lot and there is a square shaped bar in the middle of the room with seating on three sides. To the north of the bar is family seating with lower & hightop tables. There's also a patio on this side that is great during warm weather. To the south of the bar are hightop tables. One last small room in the SW corner with lower tables for eating. Bar stool are wooden but have a back support. Wooden bar top with a good rail and brass footrest. Not much of a bar back, but there is a board with daily beers. Plenty of large HDTVs makes this a great place to watch the big game. Just hope your game doesn't conflict with an "important" soccer match. Usually busy with a casual vibe. Never had a bad meal.

  • Leah F.

This place is so fun! My friend and I plan to hang out here once a month to have the awesome beer selection! Just try to get there early on the weekends it's packed! Also parking is hard to find....

If you're looking to watch a soccer (football) match this is the best place to be. They routinely show all Premier League games as well as all of the US Men's National Team games. During early morning games they serve an outstanding breakfast menu. Order the Duece's Eggs - it's a great breakfast. Their beer selection is solid and they have regular tap takeovers from local craft and micro breweries. It would be nice to see them add a few additional taps for more variety or seasonal brews. For a main course I recommend staying with one of their sandwiches or getting the Fish and Chips. The pizza is decent, but doesn't outshine other options. Great local bar with a great sporting atmosphere.

  • Dan D.

British style pub. Good beer selection with focus on Eurobrews. We ordered the Portobello sandwich, fish & chips and nachos. The portobello sandwich was good - everything else, not so much... Nachos were terrible with small dried chunks of chicken and 'cheez' sauce. Really? So easy to do nachos better than that. The real let down was the fish and chips. They were fish sticks! They were not hot and worst of all, the batter was wet with grease. A proper pub would serve up crispy fish. These fish sticks flopped over like a limp dick. Terrible. Tartar sauce tasted like Kroger brand. Server was nice.

  • Jen B.

Sat at the bar on a Friday at 5:45pm. One of the bartenders took our drink order right away. Nobody came back for a food order till our drink was done 45 min later. One of the bartenders friends were sitting next to us. She frequently talked with them but never stopped by to ask if we wanted to order. Food, drinks and atmosphere was great. Service was terrible.

I've been here way too many times, still loving the food, rotating craft beer selection, and friendly staff.

  • Kelly D.

Good food with a nIce variety from which to choose. Everything was really fresh and tasty and our meals were ready much faster than we anticipated. Our server Jeff provided a perfect balance of attentiveness and service. We will definitely go back.

  • Xuan W.

The service is great and the staff are very friendly, but I was very disappointed in the serving sizes of the adult beverages. Most beer bars restrict serving sizes around 11% ABV, but anything over 8% gets served in an 8oz glass at the price of a pint. Their bloody mary's are phenomenal... All 6oz of them. Finally, I understand that people love their pets, but restaurants are not the place for your little yorkie in a basket that you continue to feed under the table. If you disagree, this is the place for you. A service animal is one thing and completely acceptable, but be considerate of other patrons; this isn't Petsmart.

    (3)
  • Sara H.

Probably my new favorite place. The food is on point, and they've always had a nice beer selection, though I'll be honest, I usually get the same one every time. The staff is friendly, and there's a good atmosphere. The ruben is amazeballs, so you should just go ahead and get that.

  • L Boogie N.

One of my favorite spots in fishers. Decent selection of local beers, good prices, and delicious chicken nachos. The outdoor seating area is great during warm weather, and they're dog friendly! It can get a little busy on Friday and satty nights, but weekend or weekday lunch hours are prefect. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can enjoy and after work happy hour on the patio.

  • Nick B.

Wonderful neighborhood atmosphere. Food is extremely well done. Family-friendly and an upscale take on bar food that is really well done. My favorites are the Reuben and the breadsticks are second to none. Also, a great beer selection. An excellent place to catch a soccer match if you are into that kibd of thing.

  • Matthew N.

I want to like this place (since I live so close), but they are making it hard. I asked for the feta cheese on the side with the bruschetta appetizer since I am vegan. The server said she would "do her best." Alas, her best wasn't good enough and the cheese was all over it. Our dinners were brought out 2 minutes after the appetizer, which is annoying but forgiveable. I ordered the veggie black bean burger. It tasted good, but was a mushy mess that fell apart all over my plate. The chips were delicious though. My wife ordered the fish and chips. The fish was good but the fries were cold. They do have a good selection of craft beer, and that is the only thing keeping this review from being 2 stars. If we go back, hopefully its a better experience next time.

    (3)
  • Greg C.

Alexander S. obviously has been riding his bike in the sun way too long. Chatham Tap in Fishers dwarfs any other restaurant bar in the Fishers area for service, atmosphere, quality of food, and beer selection. The staff is incredible and if you aren't frequenting Chatham Tap in Fishers you are missing out. Its the place where Everybody Knows Your Name.

    (5)
  • Meagan B.

My boyfriend and I go here to watch soccer some Saturdays (he's a fan, I tag along for the beer). They have decent selection of beers on tap that rarely disappoints. We've had the food here a couple times and it's just OK. It will get you by in a pinch, but I definitely don't prefer it.

    (3)
  • Suzie T.

We think the food is OK with reference to most of their sandwiches. We are not beer drinkers but all the reviews indicate that they have a great selection. I have to take them down a star because we go to hear live music close to home and they will "no longer" be having any!! bleh Guess it's just the Ale that has good food, great drinks and live music.

    (3)
  • Leroy M.

In response to the post that the Ale Emporium's wings are better, I disagree. If you like your wings crispy and not soggy/undercooked then head to the Tap and not the Ale. If anyone knows anything about managing a kitchen in a restaurant, one can see that the Ale has expanded to be too big, thus overcrowding the fryers which lowers cooking temps resulting in a oily/soggy/undercooked wing in my opinion. The signature sauce @ Chatham Tap is a unique, one of a kind sauce that is not overly sweet, but has a kick of heat in the back of the throat. That, combined with cooking at the perfect temperature and duration results in a wonderful, crunchy texture without overcooking. Nicely done CTF!!

  • Jason B.

Indoors, outdoors, for food, or for drinks: Chatham Tap does it all. I have been here many times for dining and many times just for drinking and have never been disappointed. They have several vegetarian options and a great beer list. The garlic cheddar fries are pretty damn delicious and you can never go wrong with their homemade black bean burger. I was sad to see Fionn MacCool's close, but was happy to see Chatham take over their spot. It allows me to enjoy everything Chatham has to offer during the work day, without having to drive the 14 miles to mass ave from my job. The Fishers location has a lot more seating than the Mass ave location. For the most part, other than seating and parking, both locations are very similar and excellent.

  • Stephanie D.

I really enjoy Chatham's beer selection and their amazing nachos. I typically visit the one downtown and with good reason as the vibe is way better. Sitting outside and hearing cars on 116th street and seeing new houses just feels weird for a pub setting. Nonetheless I come here on occasion and enjoy the food and drink and company. But I have a special relationship with the pub downtown.

  • Torrey R.

I came here for the first time and will be back, likely sooner rather than later. First of all, it is a non-smoking restaurant which makes it unique in Hamilton County and sealed my decision to belly up. The drink selection was impressive and the bartenders were outstanding. They were generous with their pours and were interactive with the customers. I ordered the Lord Byron pizza and what I wouldn't do for the recipe to their dough. It was absolutely perfect. I can't wait to go back.

  • Scott M.

Average pub food in an extremely loud room. The scene is probably pretty cool if you're into noise/beer/soccer but those are not personally my three favorite things. I will say that if you love beer, the options here were extensive and the waiter was both friendly and quite beer-knowledgeable. I got the St George's Philly with the garlic cheese fries. The sandwich was decent but fairly greasy and pretty light on the quantity of corned beef. Throw a few more slices of meat on there and it would have been much improved. As for the fries that everyone raves about? Well, I could definitely understand how they'd be utterly amazing **after a night of drinking** ... but while sober? They were just ordinary french fries with cheese and garlic sauce on top. Decent enough (what fried food isn't?) but I'll not order them again if I ever have the misfortune of finding myself back at Chatham for a meal.

  • Gregory G.

After looking for the best bloody mary in town, Chatham kept popping up. I stopped in for lunch, and was not disappointed. I had a bloody mary and the turkey Cobb salad. The bloody mary was spicy and thick, and the salad was quite tasty as well.

I've come here almost on a weekly basis for the past few years to watch soccer. An excellent place to watch a match; there is not place that can compare outside of the downtown location. The food ranges from decent to delicious. I'm certain that the pizza here is the best in the area by far.

Chatham Tap opened their Fishers location where the defunct Fionn MacCool's used to be. For what Fionn's used to be to the Irish-loving crowd, Chatham Tap is for the English. Much of the place hasn't changed except for the decor, which is fine by me. CTF brings a great selection of local craft beers to the mix, as well as some good English (and Irish) imports. What really surprised me was the quality of their food. The montauks are awesome, the pizzas are surprisingly great, and the spin on the regular pub fare is very pleasing. To top it off, I believe their breaded tenderloin may give the Nickel Plate a run for its money for Best of Indiana (as far as I'm concerned). It's great to see another local business thriving where another had to close its doors. In this regard, Chatham Tap Fishers is certainly a great replacement for an old standby.

I went today for lunch. I don't have a lot to say. The atmosphere was mellow and "brewpubery". My mom ordered the chicken club on black bean and salsa bread and I had the spicy steak salad. Both were good....nothing that I would crave again. I thought my steak was a little chewy and overdone but it was still not horrible. I think it was priced a little high ($10 for a salad) but our service was fine and they kept my tea refilled. We were in and out in under 40 minutes, which is pretty good. Nothing spectacular. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again, but if I were in the area, I wouldn't turn my nose up at it either. There were tons of menu items that looked worth giving a shot! :) Wow, this review was BOR-ING.

Went there last night and sat at the bar. The place has a classic British pub look. They have a couple of big screen TV's so you can watch games. It took a loooong time to be served. There is a good selection of beer and the food is great - some of the best pub food in town. The hostess was very nice, but the service at the bar was sub-par.

    (3)
  • Maureen V.

British pub but doesn't serve snakebites. Vodka tonic was weak at best. And salmon was so overcooked I needed a knife to cut it (well, almost). Shouldn't have veered from the tenderloin or beer. My bad.

  • Smythe G.

boy our fish was greasy and made out of rubber. That's what you get for ordering take out. You know the Joe Pesci line about takeout/drive thru service~ But I can't imagine crappy fish from, "the Oceanaire" as take out service Blech

  • Matt K.

I don't know about this place as a bar, maybe it can rate higher, but I don't think anything here is that interesting as far as a restaurant goes. I thought the food at Fion McCools (which used to be here) was at least different and more intriguing. This is generally standard bar stuff. I'll admit the nachos were pretty tasty, though. The decor is basically the same as it was with McCools. Basically it's gone from Irish to English. The one thing I can say is, you're getting decent value. For 3 of us, with 2 beers and an appetizer and burgers/sandwiches, we were under $50 with tip. That's not bad.

I haven't been to Chatham Tap before, but used to go to Finn McCool's at the same location before they closed up, and loved that place! Chatham Tap in Fisher's on 116th Street ... in a word ... ENERGY! Talk about atmosphere! A great surging energy as soon as you hit the door. People having a great time, and by the looks of the food that I saw passing by as I waited on my own, it was understandable-the food looks like everything is made fresh upon order. My friend Jeff works here, however, that wasn't the reason for my visit. I was at a local wine bar (they don't serve food there) and was hungry so I walked over for a carry-out order at Chatham. I walked in and seated myself at the very packed bar - I didn't see an empty table in the place either. It was about 7 p.m. on a Friday eve. The menu is loaded with fantastic options that you don't see commonly presented in other pubs: Pesto sandwich; Gorgonzola Pear Melt; The Abe Froman (I seriously loved this just for the name!) - Chatham's freshly made English sausage on a hoagie with onions, peppers, served with kraut and relish .... the list is endless. I initially wanted to try out their Garlic Pork Tenderloin, but after my friend Jeff spotted me and came over to ask what I would be ordering, he heckled my choice (only because in Indiana, everyone always goes for the tenderloins!) so, I decided to go with the Grilled, blackened Grouper sandwich served on Parisien bread. I also opted to get their hand made seasoned fries. As I waited for my take-out order ... I decided to enjoy a brew, their selection is quite large, but was disappointed to find they didn't have Kronenbourg 1664, its a French lager that is really smooth to me and I enjoy it a lot. So, Gabe the bartender suggested a cream ale they had available. It was a tap beer, not bad, but wasn't my preferred taste, it contained a lot of carbonation and had quite a bite to it. Simply not for me, but certainly not a bad brew. The service was prompt, friendly and fast. As I waited for my order (maybe took 10 minutes and the place was packed!) I sat and enjoyed a few of the fries as I finished off the brew .... the aroma coming from the sandwich as I opened the container was FANTASTIC! I quickly finished up so I could go enjoy my meal. Once I got back to the wine bar ... I was able to fully enjoy the sandwich. It came with homemade tartar sauce on the side, which I opted not to use. The bread alone was to die for. Sliced diagonally, this parisien bread was incredible. They make it fresh. The serving of grouper was full filet and quite substantial. PERFECTLY blackened with just the right amout of heat in the seasoning, not overpowering, but an exact match for the delicate taste of the grouper. Fresh lettuce (the fresh from the market, dark green leafy kind not the crappy iceberg kind), and three good sized fresh slices of deep red tomato. The bread was lightly grilled. I've had grouper all through the southern states of Alabama, Louisiana, Florida and the Carolina's ... THIS my friends, is hands down the FINEST Grouper sandwich I've ever had. Pure perfection on all counts - portion, preparation, seasoning, and quality bread. I can't wait to return to Chatham Tap and check out the Gorgonzola Pear Melt! Thanks for reading ... hope you find this helpful and worth the trip to Chatham - I'll definitely be going back! I gave a 4 star rating because I think it's real tough to give an overall 5 star experience. 4 Star for me means everything was top notch, but because it was my first time there, I don't feel qualified to say it ranks at a 5 after one visit. Cheers !

Looking for a place to watch the big soccer game? Do you enjoy a good assortment of craft beer? If so, this pub is absolutely the best place to have a meal or simply enjoy a cold brew in the Indy area. Possibly the most lasting impression of the restaurant is the small town feel while remaining in touch with international pub culture. Whenever I am visiting my parents house during vacations from school, I always make a point to stop by Chatham Tap.

I would offer another star if they kept cleaner restrooms with better lighting. Menu has variety of options but some choices are over engineered.

From the moment you walk into this place it feels like an English pub- complete with soccer memorabilia, jerseys, and flat screens (usually tuned to rugby or soccer). The rest of the place is done in brick, stone, and dark wood. But we didn't come to see decor, we came to eat! And drink! And here is a great place to do it. The food is great for the price, huge portions, unique faire, and changes fairly often. But really, in a pub, you came for a brew- well you came to a good place. The on-tap selection is 17 different styles of fine beer. If you want a Coors or Bud they will happily serve you a bottle or can and secretly wish your taste buds would evolve past 22. The staff is friendly, courteous, and genuinely acts like they want to get ot know you. They also frequently play live music and their $2 pint night on Tuesday is (obviously) not to be missed.

Great nachos and pizzas. Always an amazing beer selection with rotating taps.

Love the atmosphere. The only "soccer bar" I know in this area. Good beers. Decent (not great) service. So.....the food. I ordered the burger w smoked Gouda cheese. Really looking forward to this. TERRIBLE. It literally tasted like I was eating a brick of salt. Mentioned that to the bartender. He responded with a "huh. Never heard that before". My friend had the same. And said his tasted like salt as well. Should have known it wasn't going to be good when it came out 4 minutes after ordering.

I am only giving this 3 stars because I like the downtown spot...check the Dukedom. The food and beer selection are almost identical, so they did not mess with a good thing. If I was only a five minute walk away from here, like I am the one downtown it would probably be a regular spot for me. I did spend a few consecutive nights here before my sister's wedding because the hotel was a few blocks away. We closed it down with Rudy the barkeep and we had a great time. So, with that said I think this is a great bar for where it is located....but if I was to give it more stars I feel like it would take away from my appreciation of the Mass bar.

What? Huh? Eh? As much as I love the Mass Ave location, this spot was a huge turn off.. so loud, so suburban.. I hadn't been to this area in years and it's freaking weird. I guess if I gave up and split for the 'burbs I'd give it another shot.

Fishers needed this foe a long time. Great tap line up, featuring an array of local brews. Great menu, highly recommend the Lord Byron pizza (fantastic). Go for dinner, or belly up, either way you'll find a relaxing environment with plenty of good grub and drink

Being a fan of the Tap's location on Mass Ave, I was happy to see them open in Fishers, closer to my house. The place is much, much bigger than downtown but the food and drink are the same. Good selection of beer and cider, good bar food, and lots of tvs make this a good place to hang out and watch a game. The larger size makes it easer to get a spot, but you lose a little of the atmosphere that makes the downtown spot great. It's not really a soccer bar anymore, at least in my mind. And even though it's bigger, the tables are still close and still very loud. All this being said, I still really like it. My favorites on the menu: the Angel Wings with the signature sauce, Montauks, and the Portabella Mushroom Fries for appetizers; The Fish Sandwich (get it spicy!), the Englishman in Italy, and the Meaty Kuzola pizza for entres.

A notch or two above regular pub food. Good kids menu options including PBJ with the crust cut off. No smoking. Homemade black bean burger was delicious but fell apart easily while eating. Homemade chips were a little overdone but still ok. Overall, a pretty good offering for the area, and I'll be back.

Service is always fantastic here. Watched a basketball game with friends on Sunday to enjoy the specials of Indiana beers for $4 draft and $3 bottles. Oh, and something new...sweet potato tater tots!

I like this place, however, a friend once told me the wings were better than the Ale's, skip on those...NOT EVEN CLOSE. Other things on the menu are good though...good beers on tap and great liquor selections!

Meh. A perfectly average night out in carmel. A good beer selection, and the pear and Gorgonzola melt was good. It would be more fun if I cared at all about soccer. The wait staff is inconsistently good, as is the availability of seating.

I have now been to Chatam Tap twice. I like it, but I don't love it. The fish and chips I had on my first visit were fine, but not the best I've had, but not the fish sticks some restaurants like to try to pass off as real fish either. Today I had the Pear gorgonzola melt. I liked it, because it was something different than what you'd get at most places. The onion rings were huge and I think would have been good had they not been so salty. They do have things on the menu that look like they could be good, so I would go back. Oh and where it says "rasher bacon" on the menu, think ham. My son who really wanted a BLT was very dissappointed in his rasher bacon LT.

We've been here twice now, and I have had excellent experiences both times. Good beer selection, personable staff, nice laid-back atmosphere, and great pub food. Last time, I had fish & chips, and it was good stuff. This time, I had the apple gouda melt with bacon, and it was also really tasty. However, the real star of the show was the reuben that my husband ordered both times. The corned beef is the best we've ever tasted! And the chips that come on the side of the sandwich meals are super crunchy and flavorful. Overall, great pub food, and if you are a sports fan (particularly soccer) you will be pleased to find there's always a match on TV here.

Chatham Tap has a great beer selection and fun atmosphere. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. I love the live music and pub vibe. That being said, the food leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer, which were fine, but not as great as others I've had at other places. It also seemed pretty sparse for the price (6 pickles for an order). I tried the burger, which was pretty generic and nothing special. If you're looking for a great place for happy hour and average pub fare, then Chatham Tap is a good option!

Get thee to Chatham Tap Fishers! We need more independent drinking establishments, and this one does a nice job of offering good, local beers and well above the norm food. Rudy is the bar manager and a helluva nice guy, the staff is enthusiastic and cute, and if we don't support places like this we will consign (or condemn) ourselves to the chain restaurant hell we deserve...

Went there for dinner. Since it's an English/Irish place ordered a Guinness and the fish and chips. Overall not bad. Fish was a little too heavily breaded and soggy for my taste. If you're wanting a great Guinness and fish and chips try Brockway, much much better.

I love going to Chatham Tap on Mass Ave and have always had good experiences there, so I figured this one would be the same, but that wasn't the case. My friends and I went there on Friday night to socialize and have a few drinks. We sat outside and ordered a round of beers. Our waitress looked 16, but said she had recently turned 21. When it came to being a waitress she was still wet behind the ears, very green. She brought us out our beers, for a place that prides itself on Sun King, which is delicious, she brought the wrong one. She didn't seem to knowledgeable about it. Drank it anyways. Then we started to smoke and she came out and told us we couldn't smoke on the patio unless there was nobody else out there. We ordered another round. We were drinking them slow, talking, and enjoying the night. We decide to smoke, so this time we got up and went out in front of the bar where it's acceptable to smoke. Came back to the patio and there were 2 groups of people smoking at tables, nobody, including her, said anything to them. That's bullshit. Talked awhile longer sipping our beers. Finished them and decided to order another. At this point she asked if we were driving and we said yes. She cut us all off and brought out water.........um what!?! She said she couldn't serve us anymore. We had drank 2 beers each over the course of an hour and 45 minutes, which was all any of us had drank that day. We weren't slamming beers or anything. I've never been cutoff anywhere let alone after 2 beers. That's just unacceptable and for no reason uncalled for. The service here is awful. We left and went to Britton Tavern, which is where we should have gone in the first place. We finished off the night there no problems. I had high expectations for this location based on the one on Mass Ave, but it was a let down. My recommendation is go to Britton Tavern or Nickel Plate and skip this one.

Had a date night here with the boyfriend on Friday. Was originally looking to take him to the Irish Fionn McCool's, and realized that Fionn's had been replaced. This Chatham is a HUGE step up from its Mass Ave counterpart. Higher class clientele and the bar and service staff is a step up as well. The hostess stand is a group of young high school aged gabbers, but hey, its what I did then too! He had the heart stopper, a burger with a fried egg and 2 patties, He had to take it apart to eat and loved it! I had the black and blue, cooked to order, tender and juicy, not a big fan of rasher bacon, but I really enjoyed it! Jeff our server was very energetic and welcoming and gave his honest auggestions about what to and not to order by his recommendations! Will go back, but not in a big rush to do so!!!

Chatham Tap Fishers took over the Fionn McCool's spot in downtown Fishers with high expectations of serving the "non-chain restaurant" crowd. Most of their beers are imports and Indiana Craft Beers - they feature Sun King and I also found Bell's from MI and New Belgium from CO. The perfect pair at Chatham is the pork tenderloin sandwich (get it fried) and a Sun King Osiris Pale Ale. The Osiris comes in cans, but that's okay - it's fresh and local. The staff is hit or miss on beer knowledge but they rock at taking care of families and most of them are Fishers kids. The pizzas and chicken wings at the Downtown Chatham Tap have always been great but I haven't had a chance to try them in Fishers yet.

Okay I eat here a lot. But I have to say that 1. There hamburgers are awful. I'm a burger guy and I don't run into this very much, but I've sampled their burgers a few times and I've never finished them. Meat is dry and tasteless and they try to cover that with some sort of spice mix. Yuck...Another big thing I have with them is their off brand CATSUP. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET BRAND NAME CATSUP. THIS CATSUP THEY USE IS AWFUL, RUINS THE EXPERIENCE. Not all bad thought they do have good fish an chips. At least I like them. I also like the service and servers very friendly. They remember who I am so that is nice. Like I said for the most part I like this place, but I'm hoping that the Manger/owner reads this and upgrades their catsup and hamburger. Please for the love of god.

I really like the food here - especially since they have some unique dishes and sandwiches. The service has been quite poor on several occasions - we've had to wait way too long to get the bill, to have drinks refilled, and to pay and leave. I really wish they'd improve their service - if they did, we'd go more often.

Consistently great. Good atmosphere, good upscale bar food, good selection of beer. I always get the wings (best in town, in my opinion), but I have tried sandwiches and salads as well and I am never disappointed! We go there often with our two young children (at about 5pm, of course), and we are always happy with the speed of service and the quality of the kids meals. One of the only unique places to eat in Fishers (another chain, anyone?), and definitely worth a stop.

My boyfriend, my friend, and I went here late last night around midnight. We were just looking for a spot to have a nightcap and talk. This place was perfect for that. There were a lot I people at the bar but no one in the seating areas so we sat off to the side near a window looking out onto 116th Street. That's when the trouble began. Our waitress, Amanda, was rude and seemed to be bothered by our very existence. She never really greeted us, just put menus down and asked what we wanted. We ordered a round of shots which took 10 minutes for her to bring. We ordered beers and my friend asked for an orange slice with hers. It took at least 15 minutes for her to bring the beers and she tells my friend, "We're out of oranges for the night." No apology, etc. She then comes by about 12:45 to tell u the kitchen is closing and to take our menus. She doesn't ask if we need anything...her entire attitude was off putting. She doesn't come back by until 10 after 1 when she tells us that it's last call. I asked what time they closed because the website says 3 and that's what had brought us there. She stated that there's not a set closing time. Weird, but ok. She brought the check out immediately and sort of hovered and stares at us until we paid it. She then takes the cash and goes outside to smoke before bringing the change. She walked by and just laid the change on the table without saying anything. Im not sure if Amanda didn't care for us because we didn't sit at the bar or if it was because my friend was black or if she just hates customers in general. I've never felt more unwelcome in an establishment. My boyfriend did talk to the bartender who was apologetic and gave him a free shot. My suggestion is to sit at the bar and avoid the waitress. Stick to beer as they have a great tap list reasonably priced but the liquor is a bit pricey. The shots of Petron Silver we had were $9.50 each.

Great "English" pub. The Onion rings were some of the best we've ever had and the chipotle dipping sauce would have been good on shoe leather. My Turkey Cobb Salad was great and the Blue Cheese dressing was fantastic. My wife got the Garlic Pork Tenderloin sandwich and love it. I washed it all down with a smoked porter beer. We'll definitely be back.

This is at the site of the former Fionn McCool's in beautiful downtown Fishers, trading in Irish for English. A very deep selection of beer and good food; I had the breaded tenderloin which didn't look too big but was thick and perfect for my appetite. There are several different burgers and every body's favorite English food ... pizza (lol). This is an obvious soccer bar, with lots of signs, jerseys and soccer stuff (even a set of miniture soccer balls in a glass case at the bar), and also a list of the British soccer teams by order of final standing at the north end. Also, a soccer channel was on one of the TVs at the bar at 6 pm on Tuesday. The service as always was great and the bartender and I took very good care of each other.

I can't decide what I enjoy more, the Gorgonzola Pear Melt (its kind of like eating dessert for dinner) or the Pesto Sandwich with mushrooms galore... The vegetarian options are endless! They even have delicious hummus and bread baked in house. I need to take my friends here, often.. and I should probably visit the downtown location for comparisons sake at some point.
