Epicureans Catering recently catered our daughter's wedding. They not only did an absolutely outstanding job in coordinating event details and ensuring the comfort of our daughter and her husband as well as our 80 guests, the meal they prepared was completely memorable. Chris Leichti himself was present throughout the event, overseeing every detail. From the "Salmon en Croute" to the "Sashimi Tuna Bites", every dish was creatively inspired and perfectly prepared. Our guests commented repeatedly about their delight in the meal. We look forward to working with Chris in the future.

Papa Murphy’s

11805 Allisonville Rd
Fishers, 46038
Reviews:
Maybe a 3.75. Did anyone know this place was voted "America's best pizza chain?" The wife and I were craving some pizza, so we looked at our Entertainment book (which I must say, is not that impressive). We wanted to get something close, so we opted for Papa Murphy's. As the name would suggest, you buy the pizza's raw, and bake them at your own convenience. SERVICE- having never ordered from here before, I asked the guy (on the phone) a few questions. He seemed perplexed at the questions, probably because he thought I knew about them or something. When I got there, I asked them how long the pizzas could sit for. The guy said if I refrigerate the pizzas, they would be good for another 24 hours. He said I could freeze it "forever." His co-worker (another high schooler) questioned his "forever" statement. I thought it was pretty entertaining. MENU- it's a pizza joint right? Plenty of specialty pizzas, and a few seasaonal ones. They have both thing crust, as well as stuffed pizzas (not to be confused with Chicago style). Choose your size of medium, large, and family. Depending on your size of pizza and toppings, prices range from 10.99 to 18.99 (or so). FOOD- the wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. The pizza was a bit thinner than I typically like (somewhere between a pan and thin crust), but the crust was nice and chewy (you can bake longer if you're the crispy type). The amount of toppings was very generous as well as we ordered two papa murphy's favorites (basically a supreme from any other pizza joint). It's not the greatest pizza in the world, but for the price, it ain't so bad. OVERALL- certainly enjoyed this place. They seem to have deals throughout the week (Mon- $3 off a stuffed pizza, Tuesdays- 2 for 1 medium pizzas, etc....) and plenty of coupons, so you can always get a deal. My wife and I will likely order from this place again. Celebrity Rating- Jason Biggs
If you read any of my info, you'll notice i like to toy around in the kichen throwing dough is one of my favorite past times. but when i'm in a pinch and need a quick cheap pizza, papa murphy's runs a close second. My wife and I love the delight Herb Chicken Mediterranean deLITE®...wow! you know, now that i'm thinking about it, this is sometimes even better than the ones i make. the olive oil/garlic base with the feta and sun dried tomatoes with fresh spinach leaves create a crescendo of flavor. i could seriously eat 3 of these pizzas by myself. the service is what you would expect from a short order take home pizza place. mostly teenagers, but they have always been quick and nice so no complaints here. if you're in the mood for pizza and don't want to make one from scratch (or pay a buttload) check this place out, it is almost the same price as a frozen pie, but significantly better!!!!
There are a hundred pizza chains going, and of course what makes Papa Murphy's different is that you bake the pizza at home. But it is good pizza, a good value, and made quickly and fresh. Plusses: They really load up on toppings, especially on the cheeses, but also the rest. The crust is a nice medium thick, just enough comfort food mouth feel. If you aren't getting a discount, you aren't trying. They put coupons on the insert you get with the pizza, they advertise in the Star & Val-Pac, and you can print them on your home computer. Not greasy unless you get two or more meats, but if you order that, you have to be expecting a greasy result. Minuses: The sauce is a bit bland. They could stand to jazz it up with more herbs, more garlic and/or some red pepper. Plusses far outweigh the minuses. I love to order a plain cheese pizza from them this time of year, when my tomatoes and basil are ready. Really perfect.

Zogurts

10134 Brooks School Rd
Fishers, 46037
Reviews:
Delicious and refreshing frozen yogurt. I like that it is self serve for the yogurt and toppings. There are many fruit and candy toppings to choose from.
I have sampled 9 Frozen Yogurt businesses in the Indianapolis area as they have popped up over the past few years. Zogurts has always been my favorite for several reasons: They have the same varieties of candies you can CHOOSE to put on as other places, but they have a plethora of healthy options like fresh fruit and unsalted nuts (nuts are healthy too!) I usually like to keep it plain, but the staff has helped me know which options would go best with my yogurt and keep it healthy. Secondly, for the quality of the product and the serving size, Zogurts is a wonderful value. They have 10 or so flavors on deck that change every week. However, they are the only Frozen Yogurt place that can make up any of the flavors on their menu on demand for you. (Try green tea!) The ingredients they use in their product are far more health-conscious than their competition. They don't use table sugar, they use a lot of raw sugar and Stevie. They have all the diary free, sugar free, and low fat/nonfat options that other frozen yogurt places do. They also have additives that burn fat or are high in antioxidants. Also, they don't use red 40, which is slowly becoming a larger issue for people in general with that allergy. Its great for parent's with children with a red 40 allergy however, because finding a place where you know your children can eat safely is rare these days. Another reason they have topped my list is their customer service. Since they are not a large chain, their full attention is given to the customers who come in. I hear staff call customers by name, or passively mention that another regular is coming in and say hello and strike up a conversation. The last reason I choose to go to Zogurts is their involvement with the community. As a company, they have donated thousands of dollars and hours of time to support the community. They focus on children or people in need. They are loyal to the community and that is why their customers are loyal to them.
I'm all about the details. This place rocks them if you have kiddos! Clean environment, TV on, toys up front, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff. Reasonably priced and tasted yummy! We will be back!

Five Guys Burgers and Fries

11680 Commercial Dr
Fishers, 46038
Reviews:
I've heard good things about Five Guys from friends ever since it finally made its appearance in the Indy area, but never had the courage to give it a shot until today. I had the "small" cheeseburger and Cajun fries. I wasn't disappointed, but it was way too much for lunch -- I could barely stay awake for the rest of the afternoon with all that food in my belly! One of the best things about Five Guys is all the topping choices -- your typical veggies, plus relish, A1 Steak Sauce, BBQ sauce, jalapenos, sauteed onions and sauteed mushrooms. I opted for the sauteed onions & 'shrooms, which were great. The burgers are deliciously greasy, with just the right amount of gooey cheese and a buttered, grilled bun. Altogether, I was pretty happy with the burger. I probably won't order the Cajun fries again, as the seasoning was just a tad too spicy for me. Another great bonus about the place is that there are peanuts for you to eat while you're waiting on your food. Five Guys also serves grilled cheese and hot dogs. Five Guys is a good place if you're in the mood for a good, greasy burger. Just be prepared -- there's not a single healthy option on the menu!
This is within walking distance to the house which is such a bad thing for us because their food tastes oh so good. Their burgers are melt in your mouth and make you want more deliciousness. A small serving of fries is a crazy huge amount simply because they are generous and dump more in your bag than you ordered. It is a low key atmosphere which suits the food well. I can't wait to go back!
I like the burgers, fries, and peanuts. But, pricey and not as good as In n Out.

Amazing as always. I think this is a much better choice than Yats. Drunken chicken (aka- Datwich) is always a solid choice, So much flavor you don't know what to do besides keep eating. The staff is on point as always. A great choice if you're looking for something new.
So I stopped in for a peak. They were not crowded, I walked in and got some suggestions from the counter dude. I see they have a deal for $2 more then the entre you can pick two entres. So I took the crawfish ettifey and the red beans and rice bowl. I am a big guy and it filled me up with a good yummy meal with a drink for under $12. The do have several hot sauces to add more heat but the standard was real good. I believe it's the best your gonna find around Indy. Stop in if ya are in fishers. The traffic is a issue. I would recommend after 7 pm for less traffic issues.
Nice addition to the Taylor's Bakery/McCalister's Deli plaza. A bunch of brochures from J Gumbo's had been dropped off at our office and thought I would give it a try today. Simple enough menu and easy to understand what you are getting. There are several appetizer options (dips and nachos), big bowl entrees (gumbo, jambalaya, chicken) over rice with bread, and Po Boys (mostly chicken). No shrimp anywhere on the menu (there is crawfish) which is kind of disappointing. Only two people working so definitely a bit slow (owner/partner running the register, other guy in the kitchen) Food came out relatively quick though for lunch. Went with the jambalaya and it was alright. I personally thought there was too much rice and not enough sausage, chicken, etc. The side of bread didn't have the buttery addictiveness like you get at Yats but was still very tasty. They give out FlockTag cards...checked online and 11th entree is free. Soooooo yeah. Probably a 3.5 star experience and round up for a new place. I would like to come back and try a Po Boy next time.

Amazing ambiance. And finally - soju :) Bulgogi was delicious! Can't wait to come back :D
Bulgogi was scrumptious! And the dol sot bi bim bop was lovely. We had a lot of questions that they were patient in explaining. Service was good. Highly recommend this quaint restaurant, but wish the prices were a bit lower. Oh well, I'm pretty sure if you like Asian food that you won't be disappointed.
I decided to try this place after reading the consistently positive Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. (Disclaimer: this was only the second time I have eaten in a Korean restaurant in the past decade. The first time I accidentally made my food so spicy that I cried -- so I wasn't quite sure what I was in for this time around.) I decided to order the dolsot bibimbop (shredded vegetables and beef in a hot pot over rice) because it came highly recommended by fellow Yelpers and it sounded delicious and simple. With the addition of several rounds of Sriracha, this meal was incredibly satisfying and I'm already thinking about when I can return and order it again! My three fellow diners ordered the dolsot bibimbop, the wang gal bi (korean bbq short ribs), and yukke jang (beef + vegetables in spicy beef broth, at the recommendation of the waiter). Our waiter even brought us a complimentary appetizer sampler of pickled/spicy vegetables and juicy watermelon for dessert. Everyone left satisfied!

Graeter’s Ice Cream

Fishers, 46038
Reviews:
Possibly the best ice cream...like...ever. When I initially found out that we were getting a Graeter's in Indiana, in Hamilton County, no less, I really couldn't believe it.. Graeter's has been one of the highlights of our trips over to Columbus, Ohio. Now we can get it at home! The vanilla, even though it's just vanilla, is really enough for me here...it's perfection. The black raspberry is also definitely something to cry home about. I look forward to trying their coffee/ice cream drinks.
I really want to love Graeters but I can't get past how expensive their ice cream is compared to other ice creameries in the Fishers area. Here a $2.99 single scoop gets you a small single scoop. At Handles a little further up the road a $2.95 single scoop gets you a huge & mighty dish full of premium ice cream. Most recently I decided to pick up a quart of vanilla to-go. My jaw dropped in disbelief when they said it was going to be $14.00. I could only assume there were pieces of edible gold mixed into this quart but to my dismay I found nothing but vanilla ice cream. What a bummer. On the upside this location is indoors with lots of seating, they have a case full of items you can take to-go, they have gelato, sorbet, old fashioned soda, shakes, sundaes, smoothies, ice cream cakes and pies. I have tried several of their ice cream flavors and the two I would come back for are the Bourbon Ball (it has actual bourbon in it) & the Black Raspberry Chip.
If you looking for quality ice cream with great customer service this is the best place in town.... The flavors were fantastic the quality was awesome

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt

Reviews:
Never met an Orange Leaf I didn't like! I frequent the Noblesville/Fishers locations the most and am always satisfied. Flavors change frequently and there's never a shortage in toppings. I also like how this is a 'weigh and pay' type situation so you know exactly how it's being priced. I love the look of this place with its bright colors and modern furniture. Always a great atmosphere and lots of seating both inside and out. I also love how they greet you when you arrive. A nice treat after dinner :)
I really love Orange Leaf because it is so close to where I work. I have their rewards card and use it often. I've always had a great experience with Orange Leaf. They usually have a nice variety of 10 flavors that change pretty often. The inside is very modern too. As much as I love frozen yogurt, Orange leaf is a little on the pricey side for me. If you choose to fill it to the top, its going to cost you $7. I'm not into toppings so I just get less yogurt in my cup. They have other things you can get besides yogurt as well as pre-made bowls of extra flavors. They do have wonderful dairy free and sugar free options for allergies. But for health nuts and kids with more severe allergies, you might want to try somewhere else. Overall, Orange leaf is definitely a great place to go for frozen yogurt, just make sure you bring your rewards card to help you save and know what flavor you want!
I was thrilled to learn about this location because it's only 5 minutes from my house. They offer about a dozen different flavors. Their flavors get changed up all the time, so you're pretty much guaranteed the opportunity to try something new each time. Even better still, their froyo actually tastes like the names! A couple weeks ago they had chocolate coconut and just coconut. They were both amazing. I liked it so much I went back the very same day and got more of the coconut. I love to throw some fresh fruit on top and add a few brownie bites. MmmmMmmmm!!! They also have "the ounce back card". It's free. $1 = 1 point. Earn 10 points and they put a $1 on your card to be used towards your next purchase. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me!

Thai Kitchen Restaurant

They make good food on a consistent basis. The lunch portions are small but taste very good. This is better than Jasmine Thai restaurant. I usually order "Medium - hot" as "Hot" can be very spicy to handle. They charge $1 for peanut sauce and its yummy. Good Food. Good Ambience. Service could be improved.
This is my regular place for lunch, atleast once in couple of weeks. Pros: 1. Consistent taste 2. Good ambience and quite location 3. Good parking 4. Lunch specials are good and are affordable 5. Good service
When this place first opened up, it was known as Thai Smile 2. Thai Smile was a restaurant up in Muncie that a lot of Ball State grads might recognize. The restaurant is good sized but the booths and tables can be a bit close together for my preference. The service is fast and polite. They start you off with a small bowl of soup. It is a fairly boring Asian chicken noodle soup, nothing to write home about. The spring rolls are good but a little bit skinny. You end up getting a lot more egg roll wrapper than the food stuff inside. The small salad is unimpressive. I always start off with the chicken pad Thai to get a baseline for Thai restaurants. There pad Thai has a ton of flavor. It only has a few vegetables though so it's missing some of the crunch I like. The noodles have been a bit heavy and sit tight. It's good stuff but there are others on the north side that I prefer.

City Barbeque

We love City BBQ! The portion sizes are large, my husband and I usually share a city sampler and leave satisfied, not overly full. The deluxe city sampler is enough to feed three adults with extra left over. I'm a fan of the sausage and pulled pork. I also love the green beans. Everything has a nice smoked flavor. We will definately be back!
I am stunned by this place. So are my taste buds, but I will get to the food in a minute! The place is done up in a nice bbq decor, very fitting for the food they serve there. Clean, with a nice noise level, the place was packed but not loud at all. My cashier/food analyst, Crystal was flat out AMAZING. Crystal was enthusiastic, charming, and very knowledgeable about their menu. Every restaurant needs a Crystal. City Barbecue, if you read this, Crystal made my 1st experience at your restaurant a memorable one. I ordered the More Cowbell per Crystal's recommendation, and I am so glad I did! this sandwich served on Texas toast was melt in your mouth good. Borderline sinful if you ask me. the brisket was spot on with flavor and tenderness. It was a little smaller than I expected for the price, but it was a lunch portion, so it makes sense. I am also glad it was not XL in size, it gave me an excuse to try their LoLo Pork. Served with vinegar slaw on the sandwich, it made me want to kiss the Pitmaster. Yes, that good. The vinegar slaw and baked beans sides complimented my sandwiches well, and they were a good portion too. The fresh brewed tea was so good too. One final note, they promote Indiana craft beer. This place is worth it in every way you can imagine. I will be back time and time again.
Autism friendly staff! Excellent hush puppies and brisket. Be sure to order fried pickles too! We got to try the meat before we picked our meal. After dinner we also got to sample peach cobbler. As a first time guest, the set up was a little confusing due to order at front, pick up meat at counter, and fried food is brought to the table. It seems easier and more accommodating to get all your food at once. Will likely return soon, good prices and large portions.
