The only place in the area that I can find salt bagels. Although the staff can be snotty, it's worth the food and coffee!

I think the bagels here are decent. Not NYC bagel-worthy by any means, but good for a midwestern chain place. I'd rank them slightly better than Einstein's, but not as good as Bruegger's (RIP!). Service here is always fairly quick and very friendly.

I stopped in here with my fiancé recently after not having been here in a few years and it reminded me how forgettable they are. I ordered a cinnamon and raisin bagel with cinnamon and sugar on it. They didn't ask if I wanted it warm or not so I didn't tell them. I received a hard bagel that was together like a sandwich and the sugar was sprinkled on the outside. As a restaurant, they should know to ask some major questions like when I go to subway, they always ask if I want it toasted or not. The flavor of my bagel was a little flat as well. It was filling but that's all I can say. Guess I will stick to Einsteins from now on.

I tried Big Apple for the first time a couple weeks ago when I brought bagels to work, and again just this morning for my family. First, I will say the bagels were really good on both occasions. Great flavor selection and really good chew, even when toasted. There does seem to be some inconsistency in density and shape (holes were really large today and bagels didn't have much height) but still they tasted great. The "but" to this is that unfortunately, the counter folks are either unhappy in their jobs or not cut out to interact with the public. It's not that they were rude but would it kill them to greet customers, with a smile and not make you feel like you are interrupting their break? Maybe I caught the wrong people on both visits but I didn't hear the other 3 people working there being any more welcoming or smiling. Seems like a tough place to work.

Can't go wrong with the everything bagel and veggie cream cheese. Spacious interior and easy parking.

My first experience at big apple was like whoa.... you mean your NOT just bagels? But a bunch of other foodies too?! I straight lined to the cup cakes. I have to admit the food channel had forever changed the way I look at cup cakes forever, especially my own disappointing regular "straight-out-of-the-box creations (yeah so sad and unoriginal. Could you imaging sending those to your kids school functions today?! Lol! Haha! Not a chance.) So. The edibles in the glass smelled so good I knew we had to toast them and of course, they did. Get em nice and warm, ohh, lala. I was the newbie so we tried a bit of the crowd pleasers and I too was in cupcake-sized heaven. My special favorite (so far) is the cheese cake. .... yum. So I hear they do good food also; and since I must find balance in my diet I WILL HAVE TO COME BACK! Will try smoothie next! Maybe a healthier bagel too?? But only if they're toasted (word on steet is people enjoy the extra offer of warmed&/toasted). They just hide there in plain sight! with so much to offer. ... are they a gem wirh Yelp waiting to expose them. ... possible so... time will tell.

Favorite weekend spot for breakfast that my fiancee and I can agree on. So many bagel flavors and cream cheese flavors. While he enjoys those options, I enjoy the breakfast sandwhich options. Plenty to choose from with egg, meat, or veggies to pile on top and toast it! One of the drawbacks is the price on the beverages. Seems a little high for those products but that is your only option so you go for it. Grant it, I don't just drink black coffee so that might be why the price is higher. Great selection of muffins and cinnamon rolls but haven't tried them. Will have to come back in when I have a sweet tooth attach!

I love this place, but I had to give it only 3 stars do to the lack of organization. The muffins are killer and the food it great, but the service needs work. On numerous occasions, I have missed my muffin from either the employees forgetting it a together or the person shouting names for pick up isn't loud enough and does not repeat. Same situation with the speciality coffee drinks and smoothies, so pay extra attention if you order any of the three. Otherwise, work checking out, if only for a muffin, which they have a wide variety of flavors.

Warning... Be careful what you eat from here... The manager/owner just tried serving us food that left the restaurant with another customer, who accidentally that took our order, and then when he brought it back 5 minutes later, the owner thought it was no big deal to try reserved it to us. Thank god I saw the whole thing when I noticed my name was called and there was no food to pick up... When I explained to the girls at the counter that I was not willing to accept food that left the restaurant with another customer and brought back, the person who was in charge looked very frustrated and angry that they had to remake our order.

A nice mixture of muffins and orange juice always makes my morning at work a better one -- especially on those dreaded Mondays. I have always been a fan of blueberry muffins in general, but something about Big Apple's muffins screams "happy breakfast time!" I also have to mention their "Everything Bagel." Mmm. I have ordered a turkey sandwich a couple of times with the knowledge that the "Everything Bagel" will make all the difference. And, my friends, it does. So, if you're looking for a great kickstart to your day - check out this gem of a breakfast place. I do suggest you give yourself a good 10-15 minutes. If you're in a rush, this may not be the wisest stop. It's typically pretty busy during the morning so I make sure I have plenty of time to spare -- but it's worth that wait.

Their bagel sandwiches are delicious and their mini muffins are to die for! A nice alternative to donuts at the office ;)

Staffs are friendly. Bagels taste fresh. My Favorite place for breakfast or early lunch. It's always crowded that's the only downsize.

The wife was craving a deli sandwich since she was now allowed to eat cold cuts, and we had a coupon for this joint, so I figured, why not. I'll tell you why not. AMBIENCE- place is located in a strip mall. The place is well lit, and spacious. It looked especially spacious with no one in the joint. The place looked like any franchised sandwich shop you might think of. to the left of the store, they have a smoothie bar/muffin joint. I guess that makes sense. SERVICE- considering no one was there, they had a lot of people working that day. As I searched the menu, I asked if they had pastrami (the one thing my wife wanted). Imagine my disappointment to find out even though it was on the menu, they no longer carried it. BOOOOOOO. Not the counter person's fault, but why have it on your website AND on your store menu. MENU- again, your typical fare, sans pastrami. Any sandwich you get can be put on any bagel you like, or a flat bread of some sort. You can also jumbo size your sandwiches if you so like. FOOD- I ended up getting the big apple club, and I got my wife a chicken blt. Neither one was bad, nor great, just blah. I apologize for this review people, but I just wasn't feeling this joint, coupon or not. I guess if you want a real deli sandwich, you should probably go to a real sandwich joint. I highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys a fast, delightful little bagel breakfast. The french toast bagel with pumpkin spread is my favorite, while my husband prefers the jalapeño bagel with jalapeño spread. We both love the cinnamon toast lattes as well. I highly recommend Big Apple Bagels to anyone that is tired of the other breakfast chains in Indy. The customer service is supurb, along with the food!

Daughter lives in the east coast famous for bagels. Big Apple Bagels in Fishers, IN. are the best I've ever had, especially the Jalapeno Bagel, which you can't get at Einstein's.

I haven't been here in a while until today. I used to drive by it on my way Downtown to work and would stop frequently. Well, the quality hasn't changed. The bagels are still delish (toasted, with butter, please!). Just be careful not to get there after the Hamilton Southeastern bus drivers or you'll be waiting a while. It's generally pretty busy so you might have to wait, but it's worth it. I'd prefer if they had the schmears listed where you could read them while you're in line and could decide ahead of getting to the counter what you want.

Moving from Chicago to suburbia has reunited me with a lot of old chain stores that I remember frequenting over a decade ago in my hometown. Big Apple Bagles is one of them. I didn't even know they still existed. The nostalgia ended there. The girl who took my order sauntered over a while after I walked up to the counter, coughing like she was REALLY ill. She looked tired and out of it, not fit for working. I instantly wanted to leave, rather than catch whatever she was suffering from but I didn't know how to without seeming obvious so I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. Luckily, she wasn't preparing the food. Either the food from this chain changed dramatically in the last decade or I just developed taste buds...but whatever it is, YUK. The bagel had this outer layer I can only compare to plastic. It wasn't really what I'd call a crunch, it was chewy and hard, with about a half a pound of cream cheese slathered inside. I ate it because I was starving but it wasn't pleasant by any means. I don't normally review a place I've only been to once but I'm steering clear in the future.

I'm addicted! They have a garden herb bagel with veggie cream cheese that is to die for! The staff is very friendly. I've been two or three times now and have enjoyed every bite each time.

Yum! Big Apple Bagel is a great place for lunch. It's usually not too crowded and they have a varied menu. You can get soup, salad or sandwiches there and they have several different bread options for sandwiches, including their many bagel variations. I usually opt for the Mediterranean Veg-Out sandwich - it is a bagel topped with cream cheese or hummus, tomato, lettuce, onion and cucumber. The California Club is also good, as well as the Holey Guacamole. Their sandwiches are all pretty big and filling. If you are a Rueben lover, they do serve them at BAB. I can't recommend them as I've never been a fan of the sandwiches, but I suppose these would be worth a try. I haven't tried any of the muffins here, but they always look so yummy when I go in for lunch. Their smoothies are great, and they have a few low-calorie, low-fat options.
