Volcano makes a good pie. The crust is decent, the ingredients seem average, and the taste is pretty good. I can't see anything great about this pizza, but it is better than some I've tried. The service is excellent...probably the strongest quality in my opinion. By no means is this a cheap pie, yes it is on the small side, but I feel it is worth the money you pay. I have yet to find a better pie in this community. So, for my money I will endorse Volcano and their pizza.

TERRIBLE! Very very greasy. Had 1 slice and lets just say my stomach was upset for hours!! A few of my co-workers have the same problem. Just moving here they informed me that Volcano's uses cheese made with goat milk. Not sure if that was the issue but I would NOT recommend. Stick with a pizza chain.

Love their Hawaiian Pizza! Wish that their breadsticks were made fresh THROUGHOUT the day, instead of just every morning. Little bit pricey, but it doesn't stop me from ordering at least a couple times a month!

The best breadsticks ever. I could just go over there right now! Even their red yummy sauce! If your a cheese person. You would love the pizza, and even the awesome breadsticks.

Good pizza, polite and fast service. They forgot a topping but it wasn't that big of a deal. The crust was really tasty and all the ingredients too. There's nowhere to sit inside and eat just an FYI. At least not at the original location.

I am a past employee - Great pizza and sandwiches; my favorite sausage any ware (shredded). FYI: They use whole milk cheese very tasty, but can be heavy.

Just found their outdoor grill location off Jackson Street in Elkhart. They grill a Italian Saugage patti with onions & peppers on a home made bun...Killer!

Oh Volcano Pizza, I think I'll miss you most of all. So incredibly delicious. And please, don't discount their pasta. We ordered Spaghetti for 2 with breadsticks - got enough for several meals out of it. The sauce is delicious.

The pizza is 'meh' it is nothing special. However the service is great, staff is very courteous.

I've lived in multiple states over the years and this is my favorite pizza of all time. The crumbled sausage is excellent, small pepperonis, quality cheese, cross cut slices, and great sauce. The cheese can get greasy on top, but just blot it with paper towel and get over it. They also have an amazing hot ham and cheese sub and the bread sticks are awesome. Whenever I return to Elkhart I must eat here within the first day or so. Until then I can only daydream about that wonderful unique bready smell when you first walk in to pick up your take out order. MMMM!

I grew up (age 59) on this pizza so of course I love it. My favorite is a large with PP, SS, ON, GP, BO, MR. The sausage is unique in it's flavor and is what makes the pie. The dough doesn't have a large crust, al dente, toothsome taste/texture like a New York pizza but it is fold-able. Instead of being sliced into wedges it is cut into rectangles which make for easy pick. I prefer the cruncy 'corners' myself. The sausage sandwich is great too, sauce is unique also, a good tomato flavor. All locations are tiny but do have a few table and chairs if you can't wait to get one home! I now live in the Carolinas and I swear each time I come back to visit and reach the town limits, I have Volcano on the phone placing my order!

Good pizza, great sanwiches and breadsticks. If you're looking for a place that does it all hand/ home made. This is the place. My biggest dissapointment is that I don't live conveniently to any of the 3 stores.

This is the best pizza I have ever had. Every time I go up north to Elkhart I make sure to have some Volcanoes pizza. I also love how the pizza is cut it's just great and makes for great leftovers. I also love how they put the toppings under the cheese. The bread sticks are great when you can get them and the sauce is very good too.

Seriously, get the breadsticks. They are to die for! The pizza is great, but the breadsticks really make the meal. I would highly recommend it!

Add another star here. 6 of them. One of my favorite all time pizza joints. The bread sticks should be their own food group. The spicy sausage is incredible and I love their sauce. Eat here. oh and the summer time only, tent sausage sandwich special is a real treat.

Pizzas are great, albeit on the small side. Breadsticks and sauce are out of this world! Check out their wide selection of sandwiches. Great prices and you can even order a half if you aren't that hungry. My favorites are the Meatball and Cheese (careful, it will ruin any other meatball sub for ever) and the Hot Ham and Cheese...Stop in, give them a try! If I were to have any criticism, it would be Soda is served in cans (Mice have sex on cans (in general)) and they don't take Debit/Credit last I knew.

Love this pizza! Wish they made a gluten free crust tho. But it's always been a staple at our house. When I was able to eat wheat I also loved the meatball sandwich. I'll periodically check to see if they ever make a GF crust!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
