my girlfriend and I went there one other time before this. The server was a female and she was absolutely terrible. it was more that a year ago and given the community, i understand. i have worked in restaurants for roughly 12 years. Mitchell's fish market, logans roadhouse, texas roadhouse, and 2 successful family owned places.this was the best sushi outside of florida that ive had in a long time. our server (i think his name was adam, bald guy with facial hair) was awesome. he had roughly 12 people directly next to us, i think it consisted of 4 kids or so. another booth with at least 2 kids and myself and my girlfriend. he was busy and he was moving fast, but he did a great job.

I ate here and was served a dried-out chicken sandwich that had obviously sat under the heat lamp for 10 minutes. Nasty stuff. Also, being from the Gulf Coast, I am accustomed to a certain zest in my food that was lacking here. The sandwich, in addition to being dry as a prune, was utterly un-seasoned.

I've been to The Lakehouse Grille twice and I'm hesitant to return a third time. The food: Amazing. One of the best quality meals you can get in the area and honestly, their prep rivals that of large cities. The burgers are great, the seafood- delicious. If you can overlook everything else for the food: do it. The reason I am compelled to give this restaurant 3 stars (and I thought about less) is the service. We've been twice, two separate seasons. Once in late spring, one in mid-February. Both times, the service was slow. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, but very slow. During our first visit, we waited quite a while for the food, which was alright as it was perfect in every way. We waited upward of 15 minutes for our check after our table was cleared during a time where the restaurant wasn't at capacity. The second time we went in mid-February, we sat in the bar section. We knew we'd wait for food and again, it was well worth the wait. Our food was delicious and we had beer as well. Our waitress came around midway through our meal to get us another round. 15 minutes go by, she doesn't return. We tagged a passing waitress to ask for help, who also didn't return. Two members of our party went o the bar to inquire about our beers and were assured they would be delivered. At this point, we are now at a half hour waiting for the drinks we ordered. As it turns out, the drinks were poured at the bar, but never delivered to us, they'd been sitting there for a half hour. The members of our party who had ordered beer got theirs and I recall being offered one on the house due to the wait, but I declined as I was the DD. Again, the check took longer than usual to get to us. I love the food at Lakehouse. It's wonderful. I love how the staff is friendly. I don't love when members of my group have to wait for something that is 20 feet from them. I've relayed this encounter to other friends who frequent Lakehouse more often than I do and I have been told many speed issues no longer exist. We may try Lakehouse again, but I don't think it will be soon.

Do not order the strawberry salad . The lettuce was practically not existent, with maybe two strawberries and six lettuce leaves . Not worth 11$. Wine and bread was good as was the artichoke and bread appetizer .

Went for lunch, definitely the best food in Culver and probably in the entire area. Nice outdoor patio, decent beer list. Food was good; sushi tasty, edamame fresh and yummy, lobster bisque was rated delicious by my +1. I liked my BLT but could have used a larger portion of fries! Long wait for tables in restaurant area on nice weather days so we sat in the bar area and had a restaurant area waitress serve us anyway, was perfectly fine. Definitely enjoyable lunch and atmosphere.

Have been here many times, almost always great food. The one meal I didn't like was when I ordered a burger, looked like it was a frozen patty they grilled. Was a little dry and not just that great pub-burger you hope for. Other than that food has always been excellent, service great. Entrees are large and tasty. Also nice kids menu and they are very helpful to families.

Ever since my older son got into the Academy, The Lakehouse Grille has been a favorite of my family. The food ranges from comfort food to creative and inventive fare. We've never been disappointed with a meal at the Lakehouse. The owner (Mark) takes his time to check on each and every table to ensure each diner is having a good meal. Service is top notch and there are always several games on to keep everyone entertained.

The tuna sandwich was EXCELLENT. But, the beef pot pie had no beef in it. Chicken was way overcooked. "The seafood plate" was dry and overcooked. The service was great- staff were educated and friendly. Clean restaurant, great location, nice decor, but ONE tasty thing on the menu.

Fantastic burger. Nice varied menu and great atmosphere in the bar. There is a restaurant side that looked very nice. Great location. Definitely worth the trip.

Great service, loved the decor but was a bit disappointed with some of the food. The filet mignon was burned so they should pay attention considering the price of the cut and they really have to add another vegetable. Had only artichoke which is bad considering that 3 out of 4 of us that had dinner don't like it but we're stuck with it.

Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. The atmosphere is pleasant and enjoyable. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and it was delicious! The food was fresh and the serving size was plentiful. Enjoyed our experience!

Lovely spot on the lake. Great drink selection and food. Service was also impeccable. Had a burger that was cooked perfectly. Pro move here is to load up those fries. The cheese and bacon were a heavenly delight that I will use as my measuring stick for future loaded french fry experiences.

Outstanding establishment. Clean, great service, awesome beer selection. While I was traveling they were nice enough to stay open late so I could watch my Charger game. This place is an all around class act. Food was great as well. Plus they have a Golden Tee. I can't say enough good things about this place. Will definitely return whenever I am near by.

We were early birds today 4pm. Treated great,! Food was great. Wife had steak quesadilla. I had fish and chips. Great. My wife's was the best ever! Also had the peach salsa with a side of guacamole also great!

Stopped in for lunch during a big cross country meet at Culver. Walking distance down the trail from school. Excellent broasted chicken and fries. My husband had the wall eye and said it was good. Good selection of beers on tap including two hearted and Robert the Bruce. Service was slim when we arrived, but they called in reinforcements and was great after that. Thanks dad-friend for the recommendation. We plan to go again.
