Had dinner there tonight and it was very good! Did call ahead seating so were seated within 5 minutes of showing up. Waitress was very nice and checked on us throughout dinner. My fiancé and I shared the texas sized combo - ribs and sirloin steak. The steak was cooked perfectly! Medium well! The ribs had a nice char on the outside of them. $20 bucks for dinner for 2? Not bad at all!!

You would think a steakhouse could get a steak right. Two separate visits and they still haven't figured it out. Won't be going back to Texas Roadhouse in Columbus, In.

Great steak, especially for a chain. Excellent sides and excellent service. Thank you Lacie!

This is my favorite steak restaurant in Columbus. The food: Is delicious. The steaks are tender and cooked just right. Servings are huge. The ambiance: unpretentious. Good place to take a family or familiar date. The one downside is that there are no reservations. Everyone must take a number and wait.

I have been before, but my last visit was one to remember. I went to Texas Roadhouse with my whole family. All eight of us. Our booth was a little snug, but it was a great time. Texas Roadhouse was very busy over the weekend of Valentine's Day. We did not have much of a wait before being seated for lunch, this was very surprising. Like I said before, we were all in a booth, with a small table added on the end and some bar chairs for my sisters. The service was great. Our waitress visited our table to replenish our drinks and rolls as often as she could with as busy as it was. She was very bubbly and helped all of us as best as she could. One thing about Texas Roadhouse I did not like however, was the extremely loud music. We were seated in close proximity of the speakers and it wasn't making our experience all that great. We asked our waitress if she could see about turning the music down, after a few minutes, there was a significant change in the volume and we no longer had to yell to talk to everyone. Aside from the loud music, it was a fun time. It was very busy for Valentine's Day, but our service was great. The food was delicious, the rolls were fresh and warm, and the drinks were refreshing. I had the Chicken Critters and steak fries - very good! I get this platter every time because it never disappoints. Even though it is a lot of food, this just means I always have plenty to take home for leftovers. I was very pleased with Texas Roadhouse, aside from the loud music. It was a great place to go and be with my family and I would definitely go back.

I was very impressed with management, they made rounds to every table to check on the satisfaction of their customers. I was not served one thing that was not outstanding. My only complaint was the noise level. It is a very busy and crowded restaurant and the music was very loud.

Don't let the three stars dissuade you from a visit to Texas Roadhouse! We had asked for a good steak place nearby, and the desk clerk recommended Texas Roadhouse. We had to drive a ways to get here, but it turned out to be worth the trip. It's hard giving this restaurant more than three stars simply because it's a chain and serves pretty much decent food at a reasonable price. The decor is attractive enough and we were seated in the bar area which was just fine. The margaritas were good; I had Patron with an extra shot and then an extra shot as well when my companion decided he didn't want his. The steak okay, good sized and tasty, and the sides were fine as well. The steak was cooked medium rare as I had asked for and the sweet potato was fairly large and a bright orange color, flavorful and not over cooked. The service was fast and efficient, our orders were all served correctly without too much of a wait. When it comes to steak restaurants I prefer Texas Roadhouse over some of the other chains. My visit to this location only reminded me of why.

Their rolls are the best part of this place and that delicious cinnamon butter. HOWEVER, I went at a super busy time, on a Friday night, and it was super slow service. They also got our food mixed up, so I had my friend's super dry 8 oz steak even though he asked for medium. If steak is going to be a selling point for a restaurant, they should at least do it right. But OMG those rolls, I would go back and pretend I'm about to order just to eat those rolls.

First of all, the small talk with the hostess bringing you to your table can be a little awkward. Aside from that she's carrying these amazingly soft, doughy rolls with cinnamon butter. I'm not big on the cinnamon butter, but I've seen people wipe out 4 to 5 tubs with 4 rolls while waiting on their food. As for the food, it's a step above standard chain steakhouses .For the price, the steaks aren't too bad, not dry aged or anything special, just decent not too marbled steaks. As for the other entrees, the Sirloin kabobs are usually pretty good and the rice they are served over is seasoned pretty well. The entrees usually come with two sides and they're house salads are pretty good. I believe there dressings are made in house. The Italian had a nice tang, The bleue cheese had some nice chunks in it. As far as a place I usually end up with my parents, it could be worse. I'd almost prefer a nice greasy burger from Steak and Shake, or if we're up for it, a drive to the Brick.

The service was great but the shrimp and salmon were too salty. The steaks were good and the rolls were delicious and plentiful. Very expensive for the quality. It's been two years and might be that long again, although we did get done nice deals for the future.

I got nostalgic today and decided to pay a visit to Yelp Columbus. I used to work at this Texas Roadhouse as a teenager and always loved the food. The steaks, cut by an in-house butcher, are inexpensive and melt in your mouth. I have yet to find a steak house that I've loved as much as this place. Every time I go back to Indiana, I always eat here and take whoever is with me. All the food here is FANTASTIC. I've yet to eat anything that I don't like. That includes the veggies, salads, and loaded baked potatoes. *drools* The next time I'm home, I'll be here....collecting unnecessary calories with an enormous smile.

Good food, fair prices. Not five star dining, but as good as it gets in this category. The staff was well trained and friendly. Service was top notch and the management was clearly paying attention and involved. I'll be back ...

What's not to love about Texas Roadhouse? Giant steaks and margaritas abound. I think it may be the busiest restaurant in our town--so there's always a wait for a table. I wish there weren't peanuts, but I always live through the experience.

Stopped in for lunch at Texas Roadhouse. This is our first time. The staff is friendly, and the meals are delivered in a reasonable time. I had the fried catfish and baked potato and cesar salad. The staff told me they make their own Caesar dressing, their own bread and cinnamon butter. This is done daily. Everything is made from scratch. Already I'm impressed. Jeff had the rib-eye with steak fries. My lunch came hot, not medium hot, but hot. The salad was the best I've had in a long time, very fresh. I took 2 of the fish home with me. I tried a bite of Jeff's steak and it was so tender, and very good, and done to perfection, not overly seasoned. Love the peanuts in a bucket. Haven't seen that since AR. at Coltons. The dipping sauce for my fish was not tarter like I'm used to, but a Creole mustard sauce. Delightful surprise. It was a good experience over all. The decor is country western, and casual wear.
