This is my second time at this location and this is what I've observed so far: Location: This Starbucks is sort of off the beaten path, so you either make a trip to go here or you happen to be working or shopping in Whitehall Crossing, so stumble upon it that way. There is a drive thru at this location as well. Inside: This Starbucks is pretty comfortable and finding a comfortable place to sit is not hard. I chose to sit on a stool looking out the floor length windows. There are several electrical outlets both along the window and around the shop, so coming here to study or work for several hours would be a possibility. (The last time I was here I was on a paper writing marathon for finals week.) Crowd: Most people seem to be 30+ and are locals. IU students tend to cluster at the Starbuck locations closer to campus rather than at this one. Overall, this place is quite comfortable. The only reason I can't give 4 stars is because it's a global chain that will never have the individuality of a locally owned business.

This is for today. Waited 3 to 5 minutes with no one ahead of me. Finally took the order. Then no stir sticks. Then forgot about my wife's drink. I mean never serve it at all. Finally had to ask. I have had good service here before. Today lousy.

Drink suggestions are usually really horrible. They don't do decaf so you have to wait forever for it. Slowest starbucks drive thru I have ever been through.

Honestly I want to like this location more. It's in between my work site and hotel (usually) so I give them money and I get to take away food, coffee, and other treats. Unfortunately, they're not too fast and not particularly friendly. I'm not the "How the hell is it going customer," but I figure after 25+ visits there might be a little bit more of "Hey" going on. It's not a location where people tend to hang out with their paper and it always feels like there out of one little thing most of the time (like nuts for the oatmeal..geez!). Perhaps they got the zoning wrong and the angle of the floor is off by two degrees. A-OK sums it up well. The location on South Indiana (just off Kirkwood and across the street from the campus) is much nicer in all aspects.

This is a very nice Starbucks! I have been here multiple times, and every single time the staff is friendly and efficient. This location is very clean and looks good on the inside! The bathrooms are also clean and taken care of. Good atmosphere, great staff, and as usual wonderful product. Bravo!

Everyone has "their Starbucks" and this one is mine. I've been going here since I moved to Bloomington in 2009, as has my significant other. All of the staff here know us, many by name, and we rarely have to order as they know all of our favorite drinks. They even know which days of the week we "cheat" on our diet and can have more calorie-rich drinks! Working in a customer service setting myself, I definitely know how important it is to treat every customer like a "regular" and the folks at this location are doing it right!
