I love longhorn..... But this trip fell short of my expectations by a long shot.... Bread was supposed to be fresh from the oven so we waited and waited.... Well it was cold once we got it.... I ordered my norm the 8 oz renegade well done.... Which I've probably had 25 times over the years.... And it was burnt terribly... Had to cut the outside later off of it.... Baked potato was ok... Service was decent..... I will stick to the other locations after this meal!

Love their steak, and their soups. Others are just so so. The service here was average. I remembered only once the waiter did not show up and we've been waited for a time for our check and changes. Besides, I love their ribeye w/ backed potato.

Don't order the mushrooms. They have SIGNIFICANTLY reduced in size...but the price hasn't.

Had a huge steak but it turns out that the marginal part is too salty and the inner part attached to bones is impossible to be cut off...compared with its price it's not a wonderful place for steaks. And don't know why the waiter that served us looks like she just failed a midterm. Hope it's not the truth :(

Been once for lunch, great food & great staff. Gonna have to go a couple more times before I really weigh in on this place. FOr now it seems like the other reviews nailed it.... you pay a bit more but the quality and service are definitely there.

We just had dinner here, and the experience was terrible. The food was average at best, but the worst part was the two hour time we spent there that could have been spent anywhere else. The service was exceptionally slow, and it took over a half hour to get our food after our soup and salad dishes were cleared. Not going back, and wishing we had picked somewhere else.

Average steak, but great mash potatoes, atmosphere is good too, locate just next to college mall and large area of parking spaces

Say I want steak in B-town. If I'm pitching pennies I go to Texas Roadhouse. If I'm spending someone else's money I go to Jankos. For something in the middle it's hard to beat Longhorn. Good quality steaks that come with tasty sides. Good prices. And they've usually been good at cooking them exactly as I ordered. Décor is kind of over the top Western Kitsch, but at the same done kind of done classy if that's possible. I've always been pleased with their service. They must have a good GM too because I've been to a couple other Longhorns that weren't quite as good as this location.

Was pleasantly surprised at quality and taste of food. I wasn't expecting much going in to a chain steakhouse being from Chicago and all, but my 6 oz sirloin was cooked as ordered and the half dozen shrimp alongside were grilled on a cedar plank and quite tasty. Service was also quick and friendly and the manager (I think it was the manager) was working alongside the servers to bring out food, clean up tables, and check on customers. Always like to see that level of attentiveness and I imagine that's one of the reasons why it was a good experience.

We are fans of LongHorn Steakhouse. The food is consistently good and so is the service. In fact, in the 4 times that we've visited there, at least 3 of the times we've seen the managers walking around checking in with guests and supporting their servers. As both a customer and a server in my previous life, that makes a huge difference to me--and I think it shows in the food and the atmosphere. I agree with another yelper here that, yes, if you want an amazing steak in Btown and you're not concerned about the price, then go to Janko's. But if you want consistently good food at a decent price, this is the place to go.

my husband and I are normally big fans of Longhorn, but we were there last night and things seem to be going downhill, cutting back? 1/2 a bowl of salad, bread was stale. steak and potato were excellent but our server had a tude.

Like other chain steakhouses, but better than Outback. Pay a tiny bit more for a bunch more flavor. Best thing on the menu is the fried cheesecake dessert. Burgers great at lunch.
