This food is quite...um...not bad anyway, but it is the only CHINESE restaurant here. No elsewhere I can go so I will always come here

So it took them over an hour to deliver my food I am at work and they are 1.5 miles away they said it would take 20 mins. No cool cold food as well

This place sucks. The management is horrible, horrible, horrible. He unplugs their phone to avoid take-out orders on a regular basis, when they're "too busy." I've never in my life heard of that. Why treat your customers that way? The hourly staff just honestly doesn't care at all about their jobs or quality of service. They're playing on their phones most of the time. They never have any idea what's going on, constant blank expressions on their faces when you step up to order. The kitchen is filthy, I have no idea how they're passing code. The bubble tea is awful, old boba, old tea, flavor powders sitting in Tupperware in the front of house... This place survives on being cheap and open late on campus.

Eh. I like it because they are open a tad later than a lot of other places. That said, the food has the typical absence of flavor that folks in this area seem to prefer. No spice, no heat, no love at all. Starchy bleachy ho hum plain. Not terrible.... not great.

Think of this as a home grown Panda Express that is open later and a tiny bit cheaper. I got the 2 for $12 deal, (2 personal entrees + fried rice + 2 egg rolls) mainly because it was 10:30pm and I just finished a workout so a bit tired and lazy to go home cook and clean. I will definitely say my body is going to hate me for my decision, not for the workout but the crap food to feed it afterwards. It's just a regular ole fast food Chinese place on a college campus, enough said.

STUPID! I ordered from these restaurant three times, and I specifically ordered the fried rice without vegetables because my sister is allergic. And in those three orders, THEY STILL HAVE VEGETABLES IN THE FRIED RICE. My sister was not able to eat it. I'm sick of being patient and believing that this restaurant will improve their quality. I will never buy food from this restaurant again. Hands down the worst service in Bloomington, Indiana. Do not waste your money. I advise you to eat elsewhere, such as Japone Express or Mei Wei or Lucky Express.

Worst Chinese option on campus. However, it is a Freshman favorite due to its prime central location. The food is definitely sub-par. Delivery is quick, however. They have a 2 for $12 special that everyone loves, and probably is what is most popular.

One of the worst places on campus to eat extremely slow and over the top rude employees. NEVER EAT HERE.

Two terrible things: the bubble tea and the food. Boba was hard and tasted like dishwater and the taro tea was watery, warm, and completely gross. I absolutely hate wasting food or drinks but I threw this shit away before it was half empty. I ordered the lo mein with beef. The flavor was okay if a bit salty. But the texture was nasty! It was simultaneously greasy and gristly. Then there was how my stomach felt afterward, which I won't get into.

Got this last night, the sesame chicken & mushroom pork. It was terrible, the only thing edible was the crab rangoon. 1/10 huge disappointment. waste of $25

I did not order anything that I'd consider awful. I hate Chinese Buffets as I truly think they are awful; I would prefer this place over a chinese buffet. Plus, I like their Ragoons and Sweet and Sour Chicken. However, I wasn't much of a fan of their Chicken Lo Mein. Not terrible, but it could be better. The fried rice is okay. Their 2 for $12 deal is very reasonable considering the portion sizes. Overall, for the price, I think this place is actually pretty good. However, I have not tried everything on the menu, of course. For example, I am not a fan of bubble tea, so I have no idea how terrible (or good) it is.

I lived in Eigenmann and Union Street for 2 years and Fortune Cookie was ordered many times. The two for $12 deal is always a good choice but you really get what you pay for. The quality of ingredients is really poor and I have heard from their staff that their kitchen and food is made with really low standards. I don't know if this is a rumor but I remember they were shut down for a little while last summer due to failing an inspection from the Health Department.

Ok I'm giving this place a 4 not because it's actually good food but because it's like crack and I just cannot say "no" anymore. Their service sucks and I am sure they make a lot of crappy food but I am a Chinese food addict and I have grown to crave their Kung Pao Chicken. I don't think there is a single place in Bloomington that actually makes "good" Chinese food so pick your poison. Love the Crab Rangoons!

As a b-school student, I've spent more than a few really late nights at the Kelley School. After a few of those late nights, Fortune Cookies got added to the speed dial. This place delivered right to Kelley late at night when we all needed it most. The food is not spectacular, but it was much better than Jimmy John's (one of the only other late night options). The 2 entrees for $12 is a good deal, but stay away from their bubble tea.

OMG EWWWW. I got delivery- kung pao tofu and lo mein. Both were so disgusting. Not real chinese dude. Not real at all.

I think crab rangoon flows through my veins in place of blood. Very, very good food (especially the fried rice) and very well made. I eat here often enough that they should make me part-owner. MMMmMMmmmmMMmm.

Awful. Just awful...I came here twice thinking that maybe the first time was a fluke. First experience: Excited that there was a place in Bloomington that served boba, I ordered their Taro bubble tea. It was arguably the worst tasting boba drink I have ever had in my entire life (And I've tried plenty of bad boba). I almost choked on a tapioca ball because they were so darn hard and I could taste the ready-made powder mix used to make the drink. After two sips, I had to throw my drink away it was so awful. According to one of the servers, they make make a batch of boba every other day and sometimes even every three days. This is unacceptable, as these balls harden after 9-10 hours. They should be making a fresh batch daily. Second experience: I came in a second time thinking I'd give this place a another chance. I ordered their beef soup. Again...awful. Just awful. The beef was covered with fat. The noodles were overcooked. The broth was old, smelly, and oily. Additionally, the staff isn't very friendly. I also got this feeling that some of the workers were running around not knowing what they were supposed to be doing...maybe they were new hires. And finally, for Asian food, the prices are a little on the high side. I am done giving this restaurant the benefit of the doubt. You'd have to pay me to try their food again.

Long black hair in my BF's eggroll. He is blond. No thanks!

More awesomeness. This time I ordered for 2 and tried things I hadn't before. We both find everything exceptionally good.

A pretty reliable Chinese place. Their house fried rice is one of my staples. The Indonesian fried rice, while not really an authentic version of Nasi Goreng, is still yummy and very much filling.

As a Chinese, I usually have dinner here. Not very delicious but rather authentic and convenient on campus.

I'm from California and Chinese (been to China/Taiwan) over 20 times so I know how Chinese food tastes like. This place is not really chinese food. But if you get their 2 for $12 deal, then you get two meals for a reasonable price. Delivery is relatively quick and location is convinient. Yes it's not Chinese food but then again we are in the middle of no where so what do you expect?

Good delivery Chinese food! Crispy chicken or ma pou tofu with pork are awesome dishes to try that aren't your regular Chinese go to picks! Really like it!

Go to Chow Bar instead. Fortune Cookies is awful. Don't even try it. Completely prepackaged, tastless Asian food. Their rice and noodles are always either over or undercooked. Their beef is probably has more rubber content than actual meat. Not worth the effort.
