I'm giving this place 4 stars because it is quite good for what it is, a fast food joint. Do not compare it to Olive Garden or similar restaurants sit-down restaurants, it's basically an Italian version of McDonalds. One bonus for this particular Fazoli's location is that your food is served on actual plates with real silverware. I've never seen this at any other Fazoli's location (usually it's the same plastic and cardboard dinnerware that you get at any fast food joint).

What can you say about Fazoli's? It's basically the McDonald's of Italian food. They only have one item I can stand, which I can't remember the name of because they changed the name of it. They have also changed the ingredients (slightly), which made it worse. It is basically a sausage and pasta dish. It's only so-so, but the rest of their food is terrible. My friend described the chicken parm as a Tyson chicken nugget with some noodles. True. Also, the service is so-so. Sometimes really bad. Last time I went through the drive through the gave me two slices of cheese pizza when I asked for pepperoni. I normally don't order the pizza because it sucks, but I was low on funds. Basically I only go here once or twice a year when I'm REALLY desperate for something different. It's also overpriced on most items.

Alright, so my plate is hotter than the food? smh... Fazoli's attempts to make the dining experience somewhat pleasant, but fails. Miserably. Quite possibly the worst lunch choice. Ever. The breadsticks are full of butter, and salt. Not the best since butter and salt shouldn't really be what makes up a breadstick. cheese covered plates in an attempt to make the dish delicious. Empty dining room should have been the cue to gtfo. Eater beware. that is all.

Kind of surprised by all the other negative reviews, so I'll put my two cents in on a more positive note. We've been to this Fazolis several times and have always been very satisfied. You probably need to set your expectations, as this is kind of a fast-food version of Italian. A step up from a burger joint but a step below an Olive Garden or comparable restaurant. The prices reflect this, so expect to pay about $6-9 for your entree & drink before taxes. The breadsticks are delicious and are what the place is most known for, and you get an unlimited supply. All of the entrees we've had have been good. My kids love the plain old spaghetti with marinara, and my wife and I have enjoyed the chicken parm, lasagna, and chicken carbonera. Again, it's not on the same level with more upscale places but it is hearty and tasty. Overall we're fans of Fazolis. The only thing that's been less than satisfactory at this location has been the service, which is inconsistent. Some of the folks working there have been pleasant and helpful, but on occasion others have seemed a little under-trained or less than stellar. Again, it's basically a higher end fast-food kind of environment, so this isn't particularly shocking. Overall you get good food at a reasonable price.

My favorite place for fast pasta, they have different variety of pasta, and I love their breadsticks so much, if you choose dine in, you will have unlimited breadsticks to eat, if take out, two breadsticks for each plate, they also have new pastas every week, highly recommend for pasta lovers^^

Service was GREAT! Breadsticks were ready when asked for and food was good for "Fast. Fresh. Italian." Not too bad for Fazoli's!

I was not expecting too much since its a fast food Italian place...the service is good and impressive (with unlimited breadstick and waiters coming constantly wondering if we need something). Food is not impressive, but cheap. And fast.

Way too pricey for what you get. Unlimited breadsticks is nice though.

Average. We didn't read the other review before eating here and came up with the exact same comment... tastes like something microwaved. Though it is in a foil dish, so they must reheat it some other way. The staff was not particularly enthusiastic. There was a card on the counter saying you could get two breadsticks while you waited, but they didn't offer them until we asked. I had a salad with grilled chicken on it. The salad was iceberg with a little romaine, some chopped red peppers and a slice of somewhat rubbery cooked chicken, sliced. The dressing was in a packet. I also agree that the breadsticks were really good. They are very similar to Olive Garden's.

ok...there are several thousand students attending Indiana University...and i'm the first to write about this place?!?! ok in a nutshell this wanna-be italian fast food is pretty much that...wanna-be italian...fast food. each platter tastes like something you would heat up during your lunch...or at home when you need something late night...and don't feel like jumping in your car to get it. it's ok at best. the best thing about this place is the bread sticks...the bread sticks are really not that bad. and always order two whenever the server walks around with the basket. it's weird because the only other one i know about is in palmdale....why?

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
