To begin, I LOVE chipotle. The rating is for this location only and not the food. I don't normally like to leave bad reviews unless a negative experience takes place more than once. This location is the closest one to me and I've gone here several times and experienced rude service. I think the management has changed because this is an issue that has come up in the last 6 months. The workers here are very unfriendly. And I wouldn't mind that so much if they didn't give me attitude when I corrected them on the toppings I'd like in my burrito. On numerous occasions, a staff member has started to roll up my burrito prior to adding the lettuce or guac that I requested. So, I speak up to correct them and smile. The last 4 times this happened, the employee paused to look up at me and gave me a dirty look for a few seconds before finishing my burrito. I don't really understand why that was necessary. The music plays loudly, the line moves fast, a lot of thing are happening, it's natural that every so often an order would be misheard or missed all together. I don't mind that -- I could just do without the attitude. I hope things will change at this location otherwise it might be worth driving further out for more pleasant service.

great food great service. I only order the carnitas as for me being mexican i am critical of this. and I LOVE IT! The other meats or just OK but the carnitas are pretty authentice! Oh yeah and the quesadilla's YUM!

I've walked into this Chipotle with a line almost out the door, and I still got my food within 7 or 8 minutes. The service is fast and the food is very consistent. They always use fresh, high quality ingredients. I love the burritos and hard shell tacos!

It's Chipotle. For those of you unfamiliar with Chipotle, welcome to the United States of America, the land of oppor... err, Chipotles! Anyway, this particular Chipotle was pretty drafty on a cold winter day, which was pretty annoying. Otherwise it seems to be the burrito standby for the immediate area. I am pretty sure no other fast food place is going to have "naturally raised" anywhere on their menu, and the place is tasty enough, so 3 stars... probably the highest possible review for a national chain in my eyes.

Oh, how I love Chipotle, just not this Chipotle. I have seen this location go down hill the past few times I have been in and its upsetting. This location used to have top notch service. Now most of the people working there are rude. It also seems that their portions have gotten drastically smaller. I remember when I got steak, it was a huge spoonful, now its about half. Same with everything. When I have to pay extra for guacamole, I expect full serving. I shouldn't have to ask twice for extra and then get dirty looks from the very unhappy girl serving my food. The most annoying thing is I constantly get double charged. I order the same thing all the time, so I know roughly what my total should be. More often than not, I have to ask if its correct and I get assured it is. I pay, check the receipt, and sure enough, I got charged for 2 drinks, or 2 sides of guac. I tell the cashier, who gets a manger and I get my refund but this refund is never accompanied by an apology. This last time I told the manager that this has happened a few times before and I get a half assed apology while the look on his face says "I don't give a f#$%.

I have never been to a McChipotle before. I had the Carnitas bowl. $5.75 Guacamole $1.35 A nantucket $2.25 and a bag of chips 75 cents. For the 10 bucks and change I could have eaten at a real mexican restaurant. The food was o.k. The chips were to salty. The rice made the pork taste like I bit into a lime. And there was a line out the door? I don't get it. I try to support the local flavor, where ever I go. But this is a chain that Mcky D's started. I would have expected more for the price.

  • Jake L.

Even though its a chain, I'm giving it 5 stars because you can get tasty, healthy food here relatively cheap. A bowl with extra veggies and beans, sans rice and cheese is so good. Salsas are ok, but meat is pretty lean and marinated nicely. Their carnitas are pretty good, especially if you're looking to try something new. Its free of most skin and fatty pieces, and is absolutely delicious.

Chipotle is amost the same as Qdoba, over all good food and good price.

Best guac ever. I always get the burrito bowl, it is the best way to eat everything neatly and enjoy it.

In general, Chipotle (or "Chipotle's", as my mom calls it) will always be a go-to for a work lunch, hangover meal, or just anytime that I'm craving beans and rice. When you consider all three of those options, I'm visiting a Chipotle in one location or another fairly frequently. For concept, flavors, value (price is low considering the quantity of food!) - no question, 5 stars. But that's the chain in general. I felt I had to write a review of this Chipotle because there is just not enough seating at this restaurant! It is in a busy strip mall location, on a busy road, and gets BUSY during the lunch hour! Even when I get there early, around 11:30, there is usually only one table open - if that. I went later this week and had to wait for a table. Chipotle: please get rid of those awful high tables with the bar stools that don't move and are impossible to sit on. Put two-seater tables throughout the whole restaurant and let people move them together if their groups are larger. I don't want anything to come between me and my burrito that is stuffed so full that it barely closes. It's depressing when I order and then have to wait to eat it back at the office because there's no room in your restaurant.

I go to this location the most and I haven't had any issues with them yet. I love that they offer better quality foods and free range animals.

The line gets insane at times but the staff is great and keeps things moving quickly. This location has always been spotless and the food is exactly the same every time.

This Chipotle was very busy when I visited, but the staff was very friendly and accomodating to get through the rush. They definitely loaded everyone up (no skimping here) which was a nice change as I've been to a few Chipotle's that skimp on things. The location is pretty nice and located near a variety of different shops and right off of busy Kingery Hwy. I'd definitely go back.

My friend and I come here every now and then. To me this is not Mexican food. It's "like" Mexican food. But I don't mind it and my friend prefers it to "real" Mexican food. I would have rated it slightly lower based on that, but I know what it is going in so I won't fault them for that. If you have been to ANY Chipotle then you know the food to expect. I love that they make it as you walk down the line with them so you easily ask them to leave stuff out or add stuff as you go. A picky eater like me would be a happy person if everyplace did this! At this location I have always received the highest quality of food, friendly and quick service. No complaints in this area at all. The only thing is this location seems very small. We usually try to come during off meal times and sometimes it's still crowded. There just isn't a lot of seating. I imagine during peek lunch and dinner times that seating is almost impossible. They do however keep the seating area very clean.

Try to stop here every week! My favorite place to grab a BURRITO BOWL! Fresh, Fresh, Fresh & delicious! I've tried the chicken & steak and both are great. Can't wait to try the pork!

This is a really hard review to write. The food here is soooo good and the service here is sooooo bad. I have frequented this location and often times, the line is sooooo long that it is literally out the door. At first you may think this is because the restaurant is packed. That may be partially true, however, it is more because the servers are sooooo sloooowwww and to be honest, kinda rude. I love the food, so Ill likely come back, but I wish they would figure out how to serve people quickly and nicely.... All the other Chipotle restaurants seemed to have solved that puzzle!

Went here last Thursday at lunchtime and the line was all the way to the door. No worries, it was some of the best Chipotle I Have ever had. The veggies and guac were especially perfect.

I come to this Chipotle at least once a week. Compared to other Chipotles (eg. UIUC campus in Champaign) this one rocks. Their burritos are HUGE! I'll be coming here soon again!

  • Jen M.

This location is small, but moves quickly as most Chipotle's do. The parking here is horrendous. All in all, I don't think Chipotle is anything unique or remarkable, but I like the create-your-own process and I think their meats are well-seasoned. Tortillas are awesome, but I try to stay away ;)

  • Julija P.

I am honestly obsessed with the food here.I used to go more often, but I started gaining weight because I LITERALLY ate here every single day. I used to crave a burrito bowl and skip class and be late to work just to go buy one. I'll stop in there every once in a while to get a nice huge bowl fora great price, but not as often as I used to ONLY because of the whole addiction-to-chipotle thing. LOVE IT!

CONS:Ordered a steak burrito - Got a bean, rice, dried lettuce, dried guacamole, with small chopped pieces steak that had no flavor and laden with preservatives.I would never go back to a place that has such lack of freshness. Overpriced and filled with rice and everything but meat. Anyone who thinks this is good food needs to go down to 26th and Albany in Chicago and try real Mexican food. PRO: Quick, low prices, better that Taco Bell

Because this location is basically almost always out the door expect a 20-25 minute wait in line. They try to move as fast as they can, but at times when it gets this busy you just wonder if they can just have someone else added to manning the line. If you have a big order, small order, or just don't want to wait in line, order ahead of time online! Huge time saver. All you'll have to do is go to the front of the line to pick up your order If i eat here 10 times the following will happen. 2 times the rice will be undercooked (there's nothing worse than undercooked rice!!), 2 times the chicken will lack half the amount of salt and spices it usually has, 3 times they'll jip you on an ingredient or another, 3 times the meal will be totally spot on, I'll hear angels sing and my stomach is happy. This location tends to be predictably inconsistent with how the chicken, rice and guacamole taste and is prepared depending on what time of the day you're here. Today was one of those times that not only did I get undercooked rice, I was overcharged. Whatever, I figured it out with chipotle's customer service so I'm not too terribly put off by that now. TL;DR: Lines can get out the door long, with waits up to 25-45 minutes. Order online ahead of time to minimize your wait. Your order will always be a surprise (Chipotle Roulette!). Sometimes you'll get more, less, absolutely perfect and spot on, or the meat will taste like it's been diluted in water. Check your receipts to make sure you aren't over charged.

We went here about a month ago. Terrible. My fajita bowl was skimpy...BFs burrito...tiny. Staff was rude and rushed through orders so quick that they didn't care what was being slopped on at the moment. I skipped yelp and went straight to emailing the company as a whole. It was maybe 8pm on a Saturday - not a work weeks lunch hour. There were a few people in line but nothing crazy. Management was nice and quickly emailed me back regarding my message to them on this location. (That was good customer service IMO). So we went back last night...eh, not much a difference that I've noticed. BF even asked if I'd ordered easy steak on my bowl because it was quick light scoop and plop and shove down the line. I guess that's just to be expected at this location anymore....sigh.

This is definitely one of my least favorite locations I've gone to. Every single time I seem to leave not completely satisfied as I would from other chipotle locations. Like many have stated I find that the servers are rude and seem to be in a hurry. My burrito bowl is often times skimpy which has led me to ask for additional amounts which leads to further eye rolls. I do understand they are busy but customer service is very important! I would definitely recommend going to the chipotle off Ogden ave. over this particular location.

Usually one of two things happen at any Chipotle during lunch/dinner time - 1) they are waiting on rice at the front serving line, or 2) your portion of meat is determined by ??? - never the same as last time, should you have to beg for an average amount of morsels?? Here's yesterday's story: ordered tacos, same guy followed order all the way through to cash register. Asked me if I wanted chips or drink. I said small drink. He then disappeared into the back and came back and said someone will be with you. 5 minutes later - still no small cup and no one at register. Then Guy #2 comes out and asks if I want chips or drink. I said I already told Guy #1 I wanted small drink yet I've been standing here for 5 minutes. He reaches under counter and - voila! - a drink cup appears! They're here? I stood here with no help thinking you had no cups. Guy #3 comes over, what is problem? He's a manager! Told the story about the elusive cups and no one to check me out. He says my meal is comped for the trouble, and since I had money in my hand I said I'm prepared to pay but what went wrong here?? Manager said I don't know but I'll find out. Comped meal for me. Previous commenters are right - very limited seating, mostly on tall small stools, which look totally uncomfortable.

Busy, small, not ideal for lunch sit down cuz you most likely will be sitting on the floor or standing up. No room and if there is an empty table, it is too close to other customers to enjoy your meal without hearing every damn thing the neighboring table says. Not to mention you will be sitting on the toilet later. My opinion, any Chipotle is waaaaaaaay overpriced for bland food.

Love the steak burrito bowl. It's worth every single penny. I don't care about the kinda unreasonable price because it's worth it to me. I love my $15 steak salad bowl.

I love chipotle but not this location. Very small and every time I go to this location I find some problem with the food either chicken is salty or salsa is bland or something else. I always go to nearby burr ridge location if I want to eat a burrito. If I don't have time to drive I eat at some other place nearby. Iam writing this review eating a bowl with too salty chicken

This is a chain folks. I think its ok and I like the fact it is fresh, but its not your typical burrito joint where you can get actual jalapeños with your order. The kids LOVE Chipotle as most tweens/teens do. Again, fresh, clean and quick is always good. It's where I take my kids when I ask them where do you want to go eat!

I visit chipotle often and am usually satisfied with the food and service but my vist on 6/10/15 at around 12pm central time was very unpleasant, there was a young man cashiering when he was about to give me my receipt i told him i dont want the receipt and asked if he could just throw it away he grabbed it out of my hand with an attitude and when i turned around and left out of the restaurant i was informed by my boyfriend who was standing off to the side of the register waiting for me that the young man mocked me waiving a receipt around and when asked who he was talking about by the young lady next to him he pointed at me and laughed. When my boyfriend had told me what happened we had already left, so i decided to call and complain to the manager. The phone rang more than 20 times and when someone finally picked up they said "we dont have a manager" i said of course you do then they put me on the phone and a young lady came to the line saying her name is elizebeth and she was the manager i spoke with her and told her what happened she apologized and said we will replace your meal asked for my name and told me it will be put in a book and next time you come in ask for me and ill get it for you. I also asked to speak with the regional manager whos name she said was ghram she said he will be in a 1pm. I called back at 1:15pm and asked for ghram they acted like they didnt know who that was so i asked for Elizabeth they gave her the phone then she passed it to who was suppose to be ghram. I told hik what happened he said sorry and hung up the phone. Yesterday 6/12/15 i went to get my free bowl as promised by elizabeth. I ordered my bowl and was going to pay for a burrito when i got to the cashier i asked for Elizabeth he went and got another manager (andrea) i explained what happened she said well your name isnt in the book so i cant give it to you even though i was telling her what happened and who i had spoken to she didnt care she instead threw the food away rather than giving good customer service. I wont be back to that location. Horrible experience...

I stopped by this location today for first and last time. The staff was extremely rude and they were not even that busy. I was the only customer in line waiting to order food. I got two burrito bowls and a burrito. I couldn't believe how everything was prepared. They put so little of all the things I wanted - half spoon rice, half spoon beans etc. I asked if I can get fajita veggies and I literally got two pieces of pepper and a slice of onion!!! Seriously???! They were also extremely sloppy, didn't care that they are spilling all over the bowls and making it impossible for me to touch them without having guacamole all over my hands! Terrible!!!

Normal chipotle, great quality of food, this one offers a patio outside, although it does face route 83. People seem to like to hang out at this site, which is nice to see. I'm a carry out girl, myself! It's a little hard to find if you're coming in through Plainfield road-- just keep going, its by the Jamba Juice!

This was my first and probably last trip to Chipotle. I ordered the steak tacos meal. The guy grabbed 3 shells and started making my food. When I got to the register another guy slid over a 4th taco and walked away. I figured it must come with 4 tacos. When I got home I checked my receipt and noticed the charged me extra for the 4th taco. (The one I didn't order). That mildly annoyed me but I figured too late now. Then when I opened my food it was room temperature. I live 2 minutes away from the restaurant, how could it not still be hot less than 5 minutes later or was it not hot when it was made? So once reheated I noticed the steak was ridiculously over seasoned. I ended up looking through my kitchen for things to add to them to cut down the spices. In the end I added gold fish crackers to them, which actually wasn't bad. After all gold fish crackers make everything better... I'm hoping for chipotles sake that all their restaurants aren't like this one. But I will never know, that was more than enough chipotle for one lifetime.

Had lunch here a few times and the food is typical of a Chipotle restaurant. I love the fact that everthing is fresh! The services is hit and miss at the register. But it works for lunch.

Managements really gone down recently and everything seems, off. Staff is getting changed around so often that stuff has slipped, orders messed up, and regulars stuff is just not done right. I'd skip this one if I were you, something ain't right.

Your typical Chipotle...although the servings did seem smaller... Decent food, typically clean, above average prices, and an irritated stomach you always seem to forget about a month later.

The Willowbrook location is my go-to spot. You can't go wrong with Chipotle! I come here and order the same thing every time, a burrito bowl, and this location never skimps out on ingredients. I always end up with a bowl so loaded the guacamole covers the lid. Great!! Other than that, it's your typical Chipotle, so what more can you ask for?

There is something about that vegetarian bowl that makes me just crave it every now and then~~~which makes me come back every now and then. As in other reviews, I state I am a creature of habit when it comes to food. So, their veggie bowl is my fav and my one and only delight from them...with chips of course!! Not that I don't eat meat...I just have had a love affair with vegetables since a baby and it has never left me. As my favorite meat of their's is the carnita's a.k.a pork....yum in every way...love the fall apart, melt in your mouth. Besides being creature of habit of food....I am a girl that likes the extra's :). I don't tend to do 300,000 things on my bowl (just like any other food choice) but the couple items I like to get (rice, beans, sour cream, cheese and of course the guacamole) I would like a good portion. I love their rice, love sour cream and the guac....OMG LOVE!! The only problem with Chipotle, is I always feel like I am begging. This is my huge pet peeve about Subways and I feel Chipotle is like that also. The thing about it is, you could have every single ingredient on your bowl, taco, burrito, etc. So, when I don't get every item, I expect the individual not to play the game of "little more". Don't miss understand me that I am wanting a gallon of each item, it's just the attitude of when you ask. I have seen this thru various locations, in which maybe the extra comes out of the individuals paycheck or strict corporate rules. Who really knows, but to be made to feel guilty about asking for something when your not getting other things seems somewhat silly to me. And now for the finale...the reason I give three stars is because of the pure fight ALWAYS for the guacamole. It is INCLUDED in the price of the veggie bowl. I don't understand how they are generous if you order meat, but when ordering the guacamole...it is a battle. In which I may be wrong on this, but I am pretty sure the cost of avocados is cheaper than meat. But, who knows maybe it's not and must be protected like the holy grail. Regardless, this is my main frustration with also sometimes the chips not being fresh. When your getting chips at $1.69 (I think...don't quote me...but close too it) I would expect it to be fresh. Hence you could almost get a whole bag of chips from the grocery store around same price if you are a smart shopper. I do believe Chipolte offers a good, quality food which is quite tasty!! I just wish (like other various chains) it wouldn't always be such a battle if you want something extra. The world will be a better place when big corporations realize the value of customer service, with the combination of common sense of this simple matter. Overall, LOVE the food, hate the battle!! If your a person that goes with the flow and not so particular (okay I said it & admit it, but my directness resolves any confusion on what I like and want :)-which it's best to be honest , relieves confusion) then it's perfect score for you!!

This Chipotle is by far the worst one I've experienced. Everytime I leave I think I'm never coming back but after a couple of months I give them another chance. NEVER AGAIN. The servers are rude- I had to wait to pay while the register girl was in the back talking to the bus boys about her boyfriend. There weren't any grilled peppers ready during lunch and after waiting 5 min I told the girl to "to forget it, I don't want to wait any more" which resulted in a "look" to her coworker like it was my fault. AND the portions are ridiculously small. If i'm paying $6.50 for a steak burrito, I would like more than a half spoon of steak and then you start picking pieces off my burrito because that still seemed too much for you. What a rip off and terrible workers. Go Elsewhere!!!

I don't care if this isn't authentic Mexican food, it's amazing! Everything has its own individual flavor when it's all wrapped up in that delicious burrito. Fresh, fast and clean.

Vegan fast food in the burbs. Now serves brown rice so there's no excuse not to eat here (stayed away before because of white rice, no value to it except tasty!) - rather healthy for fast food overall. $6 something for a massive burrito bowl that lasts me two meals. I always get brown rice and black beans (pinto are not veg friendly), fajita veggies, mild and corn salsa, lettuce, and maybe some guac on the side. This location is super busy during lunch hours but handles the crowds well. Sure there may be a line to the door but it moves pretty fast unless you get somebody at the front asking a bunch of questions which is fine, if you don't know / want to know something ask! Also the people who work here are really friendly - once I wanted some guac but it had gotten pretty badly cross-contaminated with the sour cream. Usually I just forget about it because I don't want to hold up the line, but since it wasn't busy that time I felt ok asking if they had other guac they could get for me and they did which was really nice. That's something to think about though if you are a person with allergies especially - the cheese / sour cream tend to get into the guac a lot so pay attention to that if you need.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
