Quick service, friendly staff, chill environment, and great food! I got this Chipotle and there was no line, YAAAS! They greeted me with kind words and a big grins as soon I got to the counter. When I requested double chicken, the staff member practically gave me triple chicken..what a steal! Once I got to the end of my ordering experience it was time to pay. Honestly, I could have ripped them off and not told the sweet man behind the register I did not get double chicken or gauc...but since the staff was so welcoming I made sure he did not forget to include either on the bill. The best part of this whole experience is definitely the indie music they have blasting throughout the restaurant. Gotta support he little guys! 10/10 would recommend.

It's chipotle. It's convenient and the food is good. However, the people that work there is my only problem. I really don't need to hear about your personal problems while I get my food. Also, when I've been in line for 20 minutes I don't want to continue to wait while your remake a bowl for one of your employees. Shouldn't they wait in line too? Or maybe the people working in the back can make it? That's why I just to every once in awhile or go to Gurnee instead.

Chipotle you're slipping. Say "thank you" when I spend money so you can have a job. And how about a decent burrito roll? This is my third and last time that I will spend money here. Goodbye!

Ordered a chicken burrito bowl, not too long a wait which is good but server took a big scoop of guac then proceeded to knock more than half off it off. Asked for more said she couldn't so had to order a side of guac... 13 bucks later, definitely not going here again. Too bad because i usually get better service at chipotle... oh well.

Love this place. They are so efficient, even if there's a long line you don't have to wait long at all. Loved the barbacoa tacos, all of the ingredients are so fresh. You don't leave feeling heavy at all. Overall a great place for casual dining.

Standard Chipotle. I'll usually hit this place up when I'm in the 'burbs studying. Nothing overly impressive, but definitely up to par with other Chipotles.

This is by far the WORST Chipotle I've ever been to. I've probably been here a dozen times and each visit is worse than the previous. The only reason we have given it this many chances is that when we complain to corporate they have been extremely responsive and gracious, but there has been no improvement to service. Tonight I arrived at 8:05 with only 4 people in line in front of me and walked out at 8:25....Two burritos to go in 20 minutes? On top of it the staff couldn't' have been ruder...will not go back and likely will not go to any other Chipotles,.,,,stay away!

Ahh, the many chances I have given this place to just end up more disappointed than previously. This Chipotle is by far the lowest on the totem pole out of all stores. I don't think I've been greeted once with a smile or hello. It seems that every time I've gone in I've had to wait for chicken to come off the grill and complained to management. I must point out that this is at peak times and they can care less if your on lunch break working with limited time. The response I received regarding my complaint about having to wait for chicken? " Well, you can always eat somewhere else. " Greaaaaat! Another issue is the nickel and diming they have started, before I could ask for extra pinto beans in my bowl at no cost, now it's an extra 75 cents. I've also haven't encountered a Mexican Restaurant that charges for guacamole. Sorry but $2.00 for that measly cup is not acceptable. My last visit I observed an employee behind the counter working and he had a cigarette tucked behind his ear and his hat tipped to the side. I talk to the young manager and express my disbelief and what is the manager's response? " Thanks for letting me know. " No apology or anything. Turnover ratio is very high and I can't recall one time I've been given adequate service. I'm a sucker and will have no choice but to return again. Hopefully management has noticed this review and implements some change and I will do another review at that point.

This is the worst chipotle on the planet. I stood and waited while 3 employees ignored me and my tacos and burrito got cold on the counter. Don't ever eat here.

This is the absolute worst Chipotle I have ever visited in the 8 years I have been a customer. Out of chicken and fajita veggies at lunch time. Very stingy once the chicken was actually done. Mild/Pico was extremely gritty, and slopped like a paste. And I had to ask for more corn three times. I will patiently wait for the new location in Lake Bluff to open before I make the 10 minute drive for disappointment again.

Unfortunately they switched crew members and it looks like the stress test from the show BAR RESCUE. Cant wait for panda express next door to chipotle.

I love coming here but today i bought the sofritas burrito bowl and found 3 pieces of grilled chicken in it. Not cool Chipotle! Im vegetarian and it was a huge surprise! Keep your meat away from the meat free options!

It's an adequate Chipotle location. There seems to be high turnover of staff so service is a bit hit or miss in terms of quality. As others have noted, they're also a bit stingy with portions, particularly of things like fajita vegetables. They are also consistently out of things -- I have tried on at least five occasions to order crunchy tacos and they don't have the shells. Get it together, Chipotle. Good news -- the location in Gurnee isn't terribly far, has better service, and doesn't seem to have a problem keeping crunchy taco shells in stock.

Love the food but the service can be a lot better. I walked in and the place was not busy at all. I was immediately greeted by someone behind the counter who said " She will be with you in a minute"and then he points to another employee behind the counter who makes no eye contact with me whatsoever. I stood there for a few seconds and then the girl came over and took my order. ok customer service but could be a whole lot better. made me want to go to the one in Gurnee even though this location is closer.

I love Chipotle and frequent this location regularly. The food is good, but the portions do sometimes seem a little stingy... just on the meat, that is. At any rate, that seems to be the norm for chipotle, but I always get a little extra rice, cheese and lettuce to make it nice and filling. The one thing I absolutely HATE about this location is the people who think they can reserve seats during the lunch rush by putting a bag, purse, keys, phone, etc. on the table while they wait in a 10-15 minute line, all the while, folks are getting done with their purchases to find no seat. This is a quick place to grab a bite. Most people are in and out within 15 minutes. You DON'T have reservations and I think management ought to have a policy against this. It's not fair when you've waited in the same line as everyone else only to see the last open seat is saved for some self-righteous jerk who thinks he owns the table. Aside from that one gripe, I love Chipotle and hit this one at least twice a week.

I guess Chipotle has gotten so big that they can't afford to put a decent amount of meat in a burrito? Too much pressure on the bottom line? I get that the profit margins are bad, share prices, CEO wants to be rich, etc., but come on. This burrito was nice and chubby, full of rice and beans, avocado, sour cream, and salsa. Those ingredients definitely had good flavor but I paid for a steak burrito. There was almost no meat in this burrito. I was very unhappy. I turned to my dad and said, "man, there's like no meat in this burrito." He said, "yeah, mine neither. It's all rice but no meat." If this is corporate policy, ok fine, you cant change it, but any time chipotle comes up in a conversation, I will remember this and that will be my input into the conversation. Chipotle 'aint gettin my money any more. What a rip.

For the chain as a whole, I love their philosophy on food and their commitment to fresh, organic food. It always tastes very good and you feel good eating it. At this location, it is very hard to get quick service during the lunch rush. You have to go 11:00 or 1:00 if you don't want to wait in a long line.

Great food, same as all of the rest of the chipotles. The only problem I have with this place is it is usually so busy around lunch you have to wait 15 minutes in line just to place an order .

I have been here many times and they are pretty busy at lunch time with all the businesses around. I always get a burrito fajita bowl since I don't like beans but they seem so stingy with their portions compared to other chipotles. They gave me about a total of 5 pieces green pepper and onion together.

They do a fantastic job, food is always super fresh, and nice portions. This location is also one of the cleanest I've been to, never an odd smell or dirty surfaces, very nice! The staff is awesome, and friendly. Overall one of the best Chipotle locations! Thanks!

I really like Chipotle and this one is near enough to where I work that I can come here on a regular basis. The problem with this specific location is that it is too small to comfortably accommodate everyone who wants to eat here. There are only a few tables and often the line at lunch stretches out the door. Sometimes, I start eating my lunch standing next to the drink machine because there is no place to sit. In the meantime, some self-entitled individuals and groups will "reserve" seats by placing keys or jackets across a table. I usually just ignore this and sit down if it is the only table available. If you think you have reservations, you are at the wrong restaurant. The staff at the restaurant could make things a little easier if they would keep people from "reserving" seats and subtly try to get people who are lingering to leave.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
