Hardees used to be my go to stop on road trips since previously they weren't in the Chicago area and the food is a big step up from other fast food chains. I was happy to see this location open down the road from me...that is until I tried the food. I've made four trips to this location and each one was disappointing. I've been served three lukewarm, dried out thickburgers with stale, cold curly fries (the last trip was a mix of curly and regular with an onion ring in the mix). The only thing I've ordered that was hot was some chicken tenders but they were chewy and disgustingly greasy, like the oil wasn't hot enough when they were cooked. This place clearly has some management issues.

Pretty disappointing experience. Ordered curly fries, and chicken tenders. Got home to see 2-3 curly fries atop regular fries. Chicken tenders were awful, too. Soggy, grisly, garbage. No sauce - they were out. Credit card machine down. Staff was friendly but hands had oil from fryer all over that transferred to bag that transferred to car. Rough location. Won't go back.

I finally get to try this place after having it open during lent and me giving up red meat (why would i go here for anything other than a burger). Anyway, just needed a quick bite to eat after work so went drive through. Got the frisco butger meal. Lady doing the drive through just sounds annoyed and not welcoming at all. I asked what they have to drink since I didn't see it posted on the board anywhere and she just said 'Coke" in the most annoyed tone ever. Obviously I know she meant coke products, but I only really know that sprite is a coke product off the top of my head. I was just so confused at this point that I just got a coke, even though I wanted like a Dr. Pepper or Iced Tea or something. She didn't even say anything to me when I ordered food. No Hi, Thank You, or Bye/Good Day. Crazy how little things like sounding nice to a customer can make or break an experience. Anyway, I thought the fries were pretty bad. If I ever go back I'll probably sub in onion rings or something. The sandwich all together I didn't really like, but their beef patty was pretty darn good. You can taste the char broiled-ness on it. I'll probably go back since there's not too many fast food places in the area, but on the chance that I get the same worker, then it may be time for a breakup.

Brand spankin' new. Staff were all very nice, accommodating and eager to please. Restaurant was very clean, nice touch with the video monitors pumping in a variety of music. I love their chicken strips, so both times that we went, that's what I got, but the selection of items is awesome. Can't wait to go back after lent so I can try a lot more stuff (gave up bread for lent), including their breakfast biscuits. Hope they open one in Chicago proper very soon!

This location really sucks. Period. The sausage on the morning biscuit is steamed...you're supposed to BROWN sausage, right? It's jiggly and soggy and gross. The employees are rude and seemed bothered. The people they put at the drive-thru window need better customer service training...or just stop hiring people who are incapable of speaking. All I'd like is a friendly hello and a THANK YOU and fresh food. This place is really sad.

Who's up for some glutinous punishment immediately sending your digestive system into disarray but taste so good it doesn't matter.... (ahem) *hand raised*.... I am! Chicago meet Hardee's, Hardee's this is Chicago so bring your A game. Let me note here, you will never see another 4 star review of a fast food chain (except in&out) from me but I was just so excited for a guilty pleasure and it is brand new so I figure I'll let everyone else make there own decision on this place. For me I remember the days of putting down 2 MONSTER burgers (careful 2000 calories and 100 grams of fat in each) on my lunch break from a construction job site. Also I remember the breakfast being the best ever for fast food. Today I go with the much tamer Frisco burger and it did the job well. Still a bit pricey for fast food imo but give it a go if your feeling it. I'd rank this place above the big three McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's.

This is my second review and sadly this place just gets worse.I gave it 3 tries, but they still can't be consistent. I ordered Curly fries, but what I received was 6-7 Stale curly fries placed on top of a bunch of overcooked regular fries.Who does that? I almost jumped in the car for a refund, but I'd rather YELP it to the world.See the picture..This place costs too much(for fast food) to keep on messing up the orders and serving stale food.

Okay if I am going to eat a burger at a place that is fast food, and it's not portillos this would be it. Ten steps above Wendy's , 100 times better then Burger King and well McDonalds just shouldnt be mentioned. The fries are really good but greasy as well, but that's why their so good.

Was not impressed at all. The Frisco burger didn't have the bun toasted (like another reviewer observed), the bacon was skimpy and paper thin, and the burger patty seemed really cheap. Grand total for a 1/3 Frisco with jalapeno poppers and a small soft drink was 11.50. There are a ton of local spots that will serve you an excellent lunch for less than that. So on all fronts, skip this place.

What's all hype about? I didn't find this place worth of being add to my FA(S)T food rotation. I had one car in front of me at the drive thru and it took FOREVER. I was there at an off time too! My burger was overcooked and dry and my fries were soggy. It kind of felt like they had the food laying around for awhile. I don't eat this kind of food much anyway so this was even more of a disappointment.

Now that I have found this place I can't stop going! The bun is so freaking delicious that it's a crime. I can't even think of another place to compare it to. It's like that home cooked burger that was perfected. This place puts every other burger joint to shame. The size of the meat is nice and large and the flavor is amazing! The meat is almost bigger than the bun versus the bun swallowing up your burger like some other places. My only complaint is that they need to give out more ketchup packets in your bag :)

This location just recently opened! I went on opening day and the employees were super friendly and welcoming but so unorganized and all over the place! Food is ok. I went on drive thru today for some onion rings and they took more than 5min to give me my order. Once I got it, I swear they only filled the container half way with onion rings! I don't know if maybe they were a bit blind but I definitely didn't get the full order! This place is so conveniently close to my job but I don't know if that's enough for me to keep going back!
