We just had our wedding reception here 2 weeks ago & it was absolutely amazing! Dianne was incredibly helpful with everything. It was beautiful & the food was delicious! As my dad said at the wedding, "this was worth every penny." Thanks again!
This place was remodeled recently. It is a lot brighter than it use to be. The one constant is that the food has always been great; friendly staff and fair prices all add to the pleasure of coming here. I have been here for several occasions and now the the new facelift this place has a lot to offer anyone looking to book a party and have some decent food.
Amazing wedding planning wth this hall. They made my friends day perfect. There was no detail missed. The food was amazing the servers friendly. The bartender was funny. They really provided a+ production.

Great thin crust pizza, best in the area for sure. Call ahead take out is great, but if you decide to stay expect a hole in the wall place with old booths and a bar in the back. It's also cash only. The pizza is amazing though, definitely try it!
It's not a traditional pizza place. You walk in, order, and seat yourself in a small dining area that has about 10 tables. The thin crust pizza has the perfect ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings. I have never been disappointed by them. The service can be a bit abrasive, but I think that's the style they're going for. They are extremely busy on Friday nights so I would recommend ordering ahead of time.
Damn this pizza's good.

Ordered the Double Decker, assuming it would be similar to a Chicago-Style stuffed pizza. I was disappointed because when I opened the box, the pizza had cheese on the top layer. Pizza experts like myself know this is not stuffed or deep dish, so I was a bit upset. The pizza was two thin crusts stacked on top of each other, with a hand rolled crust. The crust was definitely the saving grace for this pizza. It lacked sauce which was a disappointment. The restaurant is located in Warrenville, and is about 20 mins from my house. I probably won't try again unless I'm looking for a thin crust pizza, and I have a coupon of some sort. The prices are reasonable, but this place is nothing spectacular. It's solid; something you can count on, but nothing you look forward to. One final note: PUT MORE SAUCE ON THE PIZZA! It's a good sauce, but it was seriously lacking on my order.
This place makes a great pizza! Fresh toppings and a great crust. They even delivered out of their normal zone. We were so lucky to have stumbled upon them as we live in Wheaton and had no power as well as several other homes and businesses that were hit the weekend before July 4th. Arnie's came through for us! Thank you so much!
Pretty solid pizza, crispy crust for sure. I prefer Al's, but this place is still pretty darn good.

Amazing little spot I would've never found without the help of yelp!!! My girlfriend and I shared the tofu yellow curry dish and the vegetable pad tsi yew (sp) Very delicious and satisfying!!
I had a work victory to celebrate, and my husband decided thai food would be a good way to end the evening. The restaurant we initially intended on eating at was closing soon, so we yelped it up & found Montri Thai. Located in a large strip mall in Winfield, IL it looks pretty simple on the outside. Once you get inside, however, it almost feels like you are at a restaurant near a tourist spot with soft music playing in the background. We went on a Friday evening around 8:30pm, and the restaurant was on the empty side. We were seated promptly and given menus to look over. I almost always order the Pad Kee Mao (spicy flat rice noodles) when I first visit a Thai spot. My husband ordered a curry dish (Coconut Yellow Curry?). My food overall was pretty decent. A little greasy for my taste, but definitely not overly oily to the point where I can't enjoy my food. The curry dish was delicious! Our server was friendly and pleasant which enhanced our experience a bit more. We look forward to trying out some of the other dishes Montri Thai has to offer soon.
First time here, and wow! Went in for lunch and ordered pad thai and cashew chicken. The soup was yummy and spring rolls and egg rolls. We ordered the infamous avocado spring rolls, which were just okay. Nothing special. I probably would have preferred regular shrimp spring rolls. Overall, everything had a lot of flavor and I couldn't stop eating until there was nothing left. Would love to go back and try something more adventurous like curry or something different. So far, so good.

Potbelly Sandwich Shop

I love Potbelly's. Apparently I am outside of both potbelly's delivery zone. Which I think is cruel. Someone should deliver to me. Anyways I learned this back in July when I first moved to Naperville and was used to the Hyde Park restaurant delivery. Well I called, they told me that they don't deliver, and referred to me to another Potbelly's. So I called the other and they said the same thing. Tension was mounting, so I called this Potbelly's back and said they said they don't deliver. (Since I was not very familiar were I was at and not very sure where they were at this was a problem.) So the sweet guy on the phone said No problem we will bring it to you! I was happy . I think they have a great turkey sandwich and addictive oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Their shakes are not bad either. And they serve chili and soup!! They took care of me, so I take care of them in form of my dollars
It's been a while since I've been back, but this is a great place to get a sandwich, and the next time I'm visiting the Chicago area I may need to make a couple trips to a Potbelly's. They don't have good sandwich shops like this in California, we've got some good ones, but nothing like this. Great quality ingredients all around, the breads are great, the meats are tasty, and everything is fresh and delicious. I wish we had one on the west coast.
Better than your typical fast food sandwich place, but far from gourmet. They do have great oreo shakes.

Love this place! Great beer, my Fav is Ebelweiss and good bar food too. We have been twice. Once I got the Mac and cheese which I loved and once the pulled pork which was also good, sauce is quite sweet tho. We will be back here for sure.
Solid food options that I'd call gourmet bar food. The mac and cheese with bacon is particularly tasty. I love the fact that they use sustainable/organic ingredients whenever possible and, of course, the beer (between the Two Brothers brews and the huge selection of bottles) is tough to beat.
Awesome food, awesome beer. Love this local place....wish we had more time to go....interviewing babysitters for 4 kids now...lol. Cant wait to go again.

Discovered this place a few months ago and got hooked immediately! Their food is okay and I really don't care for any of their baked goods, but the coffee and tea are AMAZING! Brought some friends there last month and they got hooked too. What I really like about it is the atmosphere. Unlike the cave type atmosphere of Starbucks, this place is light and airy and spacious. It has a fireplace and two full sized couches in a nook. It's very relaxing and comforting. I actually went there in a snowstorm to get some coffee and a little relaxation. The only downside is that they aren't open on weekends.
The day I went, North Star Credit Union was standing at the doorway handing out $10 gift cards for "lunch on them", as part of a random act of kindness campaign. Free lunch?! Yay! However, I did order a sandwich, a bag of chips and because it looked amazing, a thing called Lover's Lane bar. My total was just over $13, so I still ended up paying $3 for my free lunch. which is totally awesome but yet - I feel like a sandwich shouldn't cost $8. I get that Panera is expensive too, but the chips or apple come with it. Nothing comes with this sandwich. You would think a $10 gift card should cover an entire lunch. The sandwich was good, it was called the Chairman. I ordered it without sprouts on account of being pregnant, and without mayo and ranch because I didn't really need all that and it was a delightful sandwich - I will order it again. The Lover's Lane bar though - that's something that needs to be ordered over and over. It's coconut and brownie and I don't know what else, but it was dense and chewy and amazing. I agree with other reviewers that the set up is a little wonky. The descriptions of the sandwiches aren't on the board. i happened to have looked online before coming, so I knew what I wanted. otherwise I think I would have been confused. There's also this weird counter with computers on it that looked like you could...order your lunch there instead of at the counter? what is that? Someone explain it to me. Seriously, the almost entirely free lunch thing from the credit union + a tasty big sandwich + that freaking brownie = allstars.
Specialty's is just a little further away than (any of) my local Starbucks, but I think I'll be making the jog more often than not. The atmosphere is really welcoming and homey inside, despite the relatively large size of the space. There are booths, tables, couches, comfy chairs, and even a large fireplace. The top-40 music was a little jarring and detracted from the feel in my opinion. I didn't use them this time, but I liked the idea of the kiosks they have for ordering. The staff was super friendly, and very helpful as far as recommendations, without being too insistent. They serve Peets coffee, which is wonderful--I tried the Sea Salt Caramel Mocha on recommendation and it was fantastic. I also had the Southwest breakfast sandwich (breakfast served all day!) and a chocolate bundt cake, which is probably some of the best cake I've ever had from any random coffee place. My trip to Specialty's was a fantastic experience, and I can't wait to try again!

Zoup!

Reviews:
Just a little update: I emailed the lovely people of Zoup to find out if their soups had MSG in them, as my dad tries to avoid it and he was interested. They promptly responded to me, and the soups are MSG free. Apparently you can find this on the website, but I either didn't see it or don't know all the synonyms for MSG (there are several).
I've been here a few times for lunch (I work in the area) and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite places to go! They let you sample the soups before you buy it which is great if you want to be adventurous and try something new. Both times I've gone, I got they're pick 2 deal and it's very filling! Also, I recommend their Chicken Pot Pie Soup... amazing!! Only downfall is this place can be a little busy during the traditional lunch hours as the dining area is a little small. However, staff is very friendly and food is delicious so definitely worth it!!
This place is cool. You can sample any soup they have that day and I didn't really sample one that i didn't like. They claim to have some ridiculous number of soups on their menu, but they rotate most out daily and have a handful that last a week or month or something. It's kind of like the 31 flavors of soup, but they have sandwiches and salads too.
