I do love this Starbucks, which is good because it's the closest one to my house. They're pretty cool about putting my grande frappucinos with extra whip in a vente cup for me. I love that I can walk in and they already know what I want. There are a few employees whom are my fave: "T," Patrick, & Cindy. All are spectacular. This is the best Starbucks. Fatty happy. :D

I'm still rating this 2 star because I've gone into the same location two other times and still get treated like crap. BUT! I did send my yelp review to the customer relations department at Starbucks and they sent a nice letter acknowledging me and said they're mailing me free coupons. Well, that's nice at least. At least on the corporate level they care and my regular Starbucks spot, which is 5 minutes out of the way, are friendly. I'll only go here again if it's the only convenient option but I won't go out of my way to go here.... I'll go out my way not to.

As I serious coffee addict, I purchase coffee every day and sometimes twice. 90% of the time it is Starbucks and I have my favorite Starbucks but go to many different locations as I am always in the car....do not go to this location! Rude staff. Bad coffee. Not only was I treated terrible but all of us. No hello or thank you. Not even a 'what can I get you?' Seriously, speechless.

This location is around the corner from where my daughter takes dance, so it's super convenient. Always great service! They also have live entertainment here on Saturday nights (mostly jazz or blues!) and it's nice because my daughter can come. She feels very grown up sipping her hot chocolate or occasional frappuccino while listening to music. It's also nice to come if I need a few minutes to work on my laptop in between errands. Lots of tables and comfortable seating. Check it out if you're ever in the neighborhood!

Shitty chai latte, shitty attitudes! This morning was the second time I've been here. The woman who took my order was lazy and didn't even take the time to ask what I had said because she obviously forgot. She was grumpy. The lady I paid was grumpy. The woman making the drinks was grumpy. When I got the cup and realized she had left all the particulars of my order off and just wrote chai on the cup, I tried to get someone's attention. But then I stopped and just left cause I knew all I was gonna get were more shitty attitudes and grumpy people. "I can deal with a regular chai", I said to myself. WRONG! It's watery and crappy and not worth five bucks or whatever I spent to take on all of their rudeness. SORRY I'm such a burden and expect customer service from a business that prides themselves on customer service! They need an attitude adjustment! I'll find another Starbucks to stop by on my way to work.

Bad attitudes. Talking about customers in front of them. I bought a latte and there was no espresso. Cashier questioned me asking if I bought the drink from there when I asked for a shot. Go some place else.

The rudest cashiers I have ever encountered in a Starbucks. Don't even ask you what you would like. Im sure you its know who in talking about when I say she is the rudest cashier. Come up to the register, she's doesn't even ask you what you want. Ask her how her day was, doesn't even answer you, give her my order and she walks away, doesn't even ask me how I'm paying. RUDE!!! Managers, where are you??

I'm a Starbucks junkie. I admit it. I go every single day. Sometimes twice during my peak season to keep me awake and working longer. I've all but stopped going to this location because of ONE employee who is quite possible the most incredibly rude human being I've ever encountered. Today I was driving by and it simply made more sense to stop here instead of going to my favorite Starbucks location a couple of miles away (yay downtown Evanston store!). Big. Mistake. Same rude gal. Same incredibly miserable demeanor. She put my drink on the counter without a word---as if I'd know through osmosis it was mine (note she wasn't even behind the counter when I ordered--so neither of us could know it was mine without some type of communication). When I asked, she rolled her eyes and huffed a "yes"...and I promise I asked nicely. However, if you're a dude, maybe you'll be lucky enough for her to show you photos of her (self proclaimed) "hot bod" on her phone. Surely it's not only my husband who would be given that kind of service. I spent about six months after countless miserable encounters, crooning my neck as I drove by, to see if she was working, before stopping in. Only one day to walk in and have her and her bad attitude thrust upon me after she came out from the back area on a day and time I thought was safe. That day I decided to make a store just five minutes further my regular place. Sad to see nothing has changed here. Some of the folks here really are fantastic - especially the night crew. Some are average. And then there's this ultra miserable employee. I literally walk in with a smile that's wiped off of my face every time I make the mistake of entering this location and encounter this gal. How is she still working there?!

Ehh this wasn't so bad! I didn't want to drive all the way to Lake and Greenbay after eating nearby so we came here to work. The Sunday afternoon staff that day was perfectly friendly and had a very standardized cappuccino ready for me before I even put my stuff down at a table. There were definitely a lot of people working there, and for a big space there really isn't that much seating. There's a fair number of outlets along the wall so yay for that. The wifi was VERY slow throughout the afternoon though, even when people began to leave.

Went in at about 7pm. No greeting...she just stood there expecting me to tell her what I wanted. When I asked for a drink, she corrected me on what was in it. I told her how I wanted it and the other employee chimed in and said I could have it that way....WOW. Then my husband ordered his and I paid. We went to get it and she only rang up his drink so that was all that was made. Listening is truly a skill. Then I went back and paid for mine and the same woman who said I could have it the way I wanted it made it wrong and had a rude look on her face. I waited for the right drink. Because of the attitude and how rude they both were I will never go to this location again. Unbelievable that there are people who need jobs and they have these two incredibly rude employees working. Find someone new....or customers will go elsewhere.

If this location is at Skokie Swift, I've got the right one. I'm very pleased with all of the employees- they're kind, fast and have great attitudes given the type of people they deal with. One disappointment is how fast my eggnog latte curdled this morning :( So sad.

I love this Starbucks. I have been a regular there for a few years and the service and staff there is always excellent. They're genuinely friendly and the one time I had an issue with my drink order, it was fixed right away and without any attitude at all. The staff is always super sweet to my 2 kiddos as well. There is a reason I keep going back and it's because of the staff. It's true that a lot of the time they're busy, but that doesn't mean they're rude, at the very least I always get a sincere smile and welcome feeling. The baristas have been able to recommend different drinks on several occasions when I was needing a change, and many times their recommendations turned into my favorite of the season. The staff was also willing to help me with a fundraiser for my non-profit. All I had to do was ask. They shared my story with some customers who inquired, and helped me spread the word, and for that I will be eternally thankful. In my opinion this was above and beyond, and is just another reason why I will continue to be a loyal customer.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks, right? Nope. Not so.I was reflecting on this store a week ago, thinking that I should write a review since I'm here so often. Before this week, the review would have been 3 stars. Thanks to changes in the store, it's down to two. You don't get much greeting in this store, other than, "What can I get for you today?" The staff is not particularly friendly, but I usually get what I want, without a major screw-up. I usually order a simple latte, a scone, and then me and my laptop find a seat for about an hour. I'm always here on a weekday mid-afternoon, on the days I am working a double and want to take a break between work shifts. When I went in this week, I looked around and said to myself, wow! They've redecorated! This really sucks! The tables are now much smaller. There's barely enough room for your coffee, scone, and your elbow. If you've got a laptop, coffee, and food, like me, there's not enough space. Your laptop will really be on your lap. This last visit, I ended up at the shared large table with two other computing folks, so I was okay for this visit, at least. But for the future? If I can't be comfortable for an hour, why would I come back? I don't like sharing the table. I don't play well with others. I just want to sit by myself, do my thing, and leave. And now that's a lot harder. I suppose this is a corporate response to the alleged scourge of free-lancers who park their butts and their laptops at coffee shops for 6-8 hours, and consume one cup of coffee in that whole time. Coffee shops brought in free wi-fi to encourage the computer crowd, but didn't anticipate that some computer-toting folks would occupy a seat for numerous hours without spending $$. For me, this means that Starbucks has put out the "Unwelcome" mat. They want you to buy your obscenely-overpriced drink and get the heck out. Thanks, Starbucks, I get the message. I'll find some other place.

I am really surprised by the previous Yelp reviews. I just started coming to this Starbucks recently and I'm a fan. I usually come here in the afternoons or evenings to study, so it could be a totally different experience in the morning. What I like about this Starbucks is there is adequate study space and multiple outlets to plug in your computer. There are two large conference tables, several cafe tables and couch seating...and even outdoor seating area. It's your typical Starbucks chain, so the drink quality is the same as in any location. Customer service is mediocre. Not above and beyond, but I've never experienced rude service here either. I do have to comment that they did mess up my friends' orders the last time we were here, but other than that I would say this location is satisfactory.

Yeah, this is the WORST Starbucks ive ever been to! Very rude baristas and they dont listen OR ask their questions clearly. Super busy, but they dont know how to handle it!

I usually love going to Starbucks and feel that they have the best customer service and hire all the right people... but I went in there the other day... for the first time ever I had a rude cashier. Which is weird because I thought Starbucks was picky about who they hire, usually everyone that works there is overly friendly, but definitely not this location or at least that one employee. Luckily I have so many Starbucks/coffee places around me that I never have to go back to this location and deal with her.

I'll add to the poor reviews. I frequent a number of Starbucks, and I have never encountered a more poorly run store. The staff is rude and they are frequently out of things. I won't be visiting this location again.

If you like to be treated like crap with your morning coffee, this is the location for you. I went to this Starbucks about 6 months ago and could not believe the way the woman at the register treated me. I left thinking, ok, everyone has a bad day. I returned a few weeks later only to be treated poorly AGAIN by this same woman. This time I asked her if she was having a bad day. She simply said "no". So, of course, I vowed never to return. Fast forward to this week when I thought it was worth giving it another try since this location is convenient for me. To my ASTONISHMENT this same horrible woman was working there and still treating people like crap!!!!! I got the name of the manager who was not present. I did call her and she said "I'm working with her". I replied, "it ain't working". Clearly if she's "working with her" she is well aware of the problem. She offered me a free beverage next time I was in. I said, no thanks, I won't set foot in this place if that woman is still working there. I asked if she read any of the Yelp reviews. She had not.

The place wasn't busy, so I wasn't expecting any problems. But, I was certainly wrong. There were two girls at the cash registers. The first girl took my order - I asked for two mocha frapps, one with whip cream and one without. Nothing too complicated right? Wrong. The first girl goes to make my drink, and the second girl rings me up. It wasn't until she asked me what sizes I chose, that I realized the first girl didn't even ask me. This girl was no different. She looked to the other girl, with a confused look. The other girl apparently already poured my drinks and charged me for the grande sizes. I WAS going to order a tall, but she had already poured my drinks. Then, I went to ask the girl that charged me, which one had whip cream. She just said that she didn't know. Wow, so not helpful. I checked both of them, and they BOTH had whip cream. I didn't even ask for something complex. But, I was in a hurry and not in the mood to deal with these girls. WORST service at any Starbucks. Ever.

People seem nice, drinks are the usual, and the nice thing is that they have a lot more space than your normal Starbucks. That's really the only thing that sets any of these places apart, anyway...

Dirty store staff has bad attitudes. Quality below par. That sums it up. Be careful staff talks about customers to each other and to other customers. This is like high school. Find a different place to spend your money.
