Impressed. Staying at hotel in Schaumburg. Wife and I ordered a large thin crust pepperoni mushroom sausage and tomato pizza. It was delivered in 40 min, hot. We planned on eating half but we totally killed the whole pie. Surprisingly good pizza...and I'm Italian boy who gets snobby around anything with red sauce on it. We'll eat there again before we leave. Update: the picture is from when we visited the Schaumburg restaurant and ordered the deep dish pizza...yummy!

As far as pizza goes, I've always been a Chicago style thin crust type of girl. My father and I decided to go for a quick pie to check out the Schaumburg location. We used to visit the Bartlett location as we lived in Streamwood. However, we moved to Arlington Heights and decided the Schaumburg location was worth a shot. We went in on a Sunday evening and were seated immediately in a comfy booth in the bar area. The restaurant was not very packed. (Maybe because it was a Sunday?) Our server came over and took our drink and appetizer order. The service was good. (more on that later) We ordered the Breaded Calamari. It was fresh, hot, and delicious. When it comes to Calamari, it's all about the flavor/consistency of the "breading". The breading was seasoned perfectly, not overpowering. If I had to order one thing off the "Starters" menu, the Calamari would be my choice. Next, we ordered the pizza. We ordered the "House Favorite" (Sausage, Pepperoni, Onion Green Pepper) and added Spinach and EXTRA cheese. Now, I'll be honest we stopped visiting Moretti's for years, as they would cheap out on the pizza. (Little to no ingredients, Little Cheese). This visit was our way of giving them a chance to redeem themselves. The pizza came out piping hot and looking good. We each had a slice and came to the same conclusion. What if we didn't order "extra" cheese?! What would "regular" cheese be? We both assumed it would be like eating pizza crust covered in sauce. To our disappointment, very little sausage or pepperoni on the pizza. Maybe one little ball of sausage per slice. I'm talking pinkie nail size sausage. However, more onions and green pepper than one could palate. I guess onions and peppers are cheaper to put on the pizza, instead of sausage or pepperoni. Fed up with the pizza, I reluctantly ordered a "mini-dessert". I ordered the "mini" tiramisu. It was the worst excuse for tiramisu. The ladyfingers are normally dipped in coffee. Not here, dipped in water and served with warm whipped cream. I was fed up and got the bill. I doubt I'll return, except for calamari. The service was good initially, but went downhill real fast. Our server would routinely disappear for ten minutes at a time, leaving our cups empty. Her tip reflected her absence. We finished up our pizza and packed the leftovers to go. Needless to say, we were very disappointed in the skimping of ingredients. We will most likely not be returning for the pizza, when you skimp, people stop coming. (most likely the reason for an almost barren dining area) Also, other reviews are right. The delivery drivers drive like animals. One almost plowed into us while leaving the parking lot. Then, proceeded to cut other cars off. Stop cheaping out on the pizza, or you will be out of business real soon. Also, have your waitresses do their job, instead of disappearing every five minutes. Get your drivers in line before you seriously injure someone else. When they can make a REAL pizza, I'll be back. Until then, I'll order Tortorice's pizza, they're not afraid to PILE it on! 5- Stars for the Calamari 1- Star for Everything Else!

Came here on Half Price Pizza night and should have known they would be busy. Only waited a few minutes for a table but had to ask for our server after waiting for more than 5 minutes. The pizza's and salad we ordered were delicious! However, again we waited more than 15 minutes after we were done eating to get our check. Will come back. Just hope we get a more attentive server.

Today my girlfriend and I came in, waited five minutes for the host, and after five minutes we turned around and left. Several members of the wait staff saw us and never even acknowledged us. We ended up going to Stadium across the street. Not even going to attempt to come here again.

When it comes to pizza in Chicagoland, I do enjoy the big names in Chicago - like Pizzeria Uno and Lou Malnati's. But I really prefer the lesser known pizzerias and Moretti's is definitely my favorite. The deep dish is what I go for, and although it takes about a half-hour, it's well worth the wait. With pizzas, you can choose your own ingredients, or you can choose one of the "Favorite Pizzas." I generally choose the favorites, and I often order the "Moretti's BBQ." The barbecue sauce blends well with the sausage and cheese for a uniquely tasty and mouthwatering experience. Moretti's BBQ deep dish (you can also get a Favorite in thin crust) is what I order most of the time, but the Pizza topped with Mac & Cheese is another tasty and decadent option. I can't order that pizza too often, lest I gain a lot of weight. Service is always wonderful, and there are lots of big screen TVs across the restaurant, so if a game is going on, be ready to join in the shouts with the other patrons when our local team scores. The pizzas are a little pricier than what you might pay somewhere else, but once you take your first bite, you'll understand why. If you're looking for great pizza, at a place with a great ambience, and great service, Moretti's is the right place.

Pizza was ok but, their soda tastes so bad. Little to no carbonation. We had to ask our server Brittany three times to accommodate a soda exchange. They really need to have someone look at their soda lines or whatever. We won't be coming back.

I will note first that I had delivery at the Best Western next door, so I didn't set foot in the restaurant to comment on that. HOWEVER. I had a terrible day. Power went out at my hotel, we got moved to the Best Western, I was in a conference until after 10pm and I was starving. I asked the girl at the counter for some menus. I called the first place, their oven was broken. Second place was snotty when I didn't know the street address for the hotel (I mean, it's the nearest best western, is that difficult?), and then I called Morettis, which I could practically see from my room. Although it was close to their closing time, they were friendly on the phone and when I asked what would be fastest they said anything would be quick. I got some kind of meat lovers and onion pizza, fries, and soda. They were super quick, the pizza was artery-clogging heaven, and it was HOT and fresh. I felt like the price was reasonable and the delivery guy was polite. I can't think of anything that would have made it better!

We order takeout and also go the Schaumburg Moretti's and eat there. We like their food, location, service and the atmosphere. That said their parking lot is simply awful. It's been full of pot holes for a long time. We went there last nigh and it was again like driving through a minefield. I don't want to have to get a new tire or front-end alignment over a trip to a pizza place and so we won't be back. We're don't get why they have let that parking lot erode so much.

Oh Moretti's. What happened??? Went in last night for 1/2 price pizza Tuesday. The wait was an hour, which we expected. What we didn't expect, was to wait over an hour for a large thin-crust pizza after we ordered it. We ordered within 10 minutes of being seated (including asking the server to come back a few times because we just weren't quite sure.) We ordered: 1 small thin crust pizza with 3 toppings 1 large thin crust pizza with 2.5 toppings 1 large deep dish pizza (the house specialty) - were told it would be 30 minutes, said no problem, just bring the others out when they are ready. 2 appetizer salads. The salads came right away. I had a salad that was on special - blanched green beans with tomatoes, red onion, danish bleu cheese, and lemon vinaigrette. It was actually very good. Then we waited. and waited. and waited. and waited. The small pizza came, and we were informed that the kitchen had to re-make the large, because "they forgot the sausage." Um... okay? Then, the deep dish came. Then, finally, the large thin came. None of this was the server's fault... obviously. She was sweet and kind, and you could see her anxiety over this kitchen fubar. However, a manager was nowhere to be found. My dad asked the server to mention to the manager how long the pizza took - hoping, he/she would come over, do something. Well, they did something, they took the pizza off the bill. However, they never did make an appearance to apologize. Terrible management at this Moretti's. We were there from 6:30 to after 9pm for a couple of pies. Ala Carte Entertainment - get your sh*t together and train your managers to manage. Not hide. When our server asked the manager to remove the pizza from our check, he/she should have been at our table immediately to apologize, at the very minimum. And forgetting sausage on a pizza? Let's get some training into the kitchen too?

Had the chicken tikka pizza here..... Why would you call it that! There was hardly any chicken and clearly the chef doesn't even know what tikka means. The pizza was a disappointing chicken pizza and doesn't even qualify as a chicken tikka pizza....

So I have been in this industry for 5 years and only once before this have I ever reviewed another restaurant due to service. Tonight myself and my family went into Morettis for a quick meal early evening and ended up being there for two hours. We sat down and ordered a bottle of wine and waited 40 minutes for it to finally arrive at our table. When we addressed the situation with our waitress she said she would go look for it?!! When we brought it up to another waitress, our waitress came over and told us she had no idea where our wine was but a manager would deal with it. Ten minutes later our wine arrived. A manager never came to our table!!! And I paid full price for the wine that took 40 minutes to get to me!!! Not cool!!! If I had not have been there, with my family and their young children, they would have gotten up and left after 20 minutes of waiting. And to be honest if i was serving someone and they got up because it took me 20 minutes to get them drinks, I wouldn't be surprised!! It was my first visit and I will not be going back again! The new location in Hoffman estates however is awesome!

My favorite pizza place in this area! I get the traditional Chicago deep dish and its so so so good! When I am here for work I make a point to go! The quality is high but the prices aren't!

Really disappointing. We had the deep dish pizza and we all agreed there is so much better elsewherr. Can't believe that it's rated so highly.

We came in with a large party. I thought we had a table for 30 but I guess it was for 20. Not sure if it was the manager but she was very rude about the whole thing. Wish I would ha e gotten her name but oh well Food was ok I've had better food. I wouldn't go back

DON'T BE IN A HURRY! Wasn't warned that a small pan pizza takes 40 minutes...A single pan pizza. Miraculously, it was ready about 1 minute after I asked where it was...would have been 4 stars for the quality of food, however. The pizza was good! Would probably do a thin crust next time.

Food is good basic everyday, value is good. They also have good specials,. Rare occurrence when food isn't prepared well so we keep coming back. However I do have complaint with their pizza delivery drivers; Warn your duffus pizza delivery drivers about not trying to intimidate customers with their aggressive driving antics. We have right to walk in our own neighborhood, even after dark. Their aggressive driving is not good for your business. You had two drivers this evening in plum grove creek area 7pm, Friday, 2-13-15;. The first courtesly hit the brights, saw me and and slowed down. The other idiot driver never slowed or even moved to the center of the road, I finally held my arm straight out to force him/her over to the middle. He/she knows what they did, I wished he would have pulled into a driveway near me, we would have had a discussion right then and there. I eat at your restaurant at least once every 2 weeks, I'm a customer who doesn't care for your fools driving aggressively on our community streets, they have no right away superior to a pedestrian. Do they not know they have a big lighted Moretti sign on the top of their car advertising who they work for, that in itself is an indicator of how dumb they are. Have you checked their driving history/records before putting them out there (negligence)? I could have a easily called the police and made it really difficult for Moretti's, however I'll leave that up to you the mgmt to address. Next time I'll take the license plate down and call the police.

It's been many years since I've been to Moretti's. During my recent trip to Chicagoland I still didn't get a chance to visit Moretti's. That's because there was snow on the ground and I was driving a rental that was a few grades below from what I'm used to driving. So I ordered for delivery to the hotel pool. How cool is that. Relaxing in the pool and eating delivered ZA at the pool. The pizza was warm but not hot. After all, there was some nasty weather out there. The pizza was good but not in the upper echelon of pizza in the Chicagoland area. For you football fanatics out there. I would say Moretti's is a playoff team with a 9 and 7 record but with a little bit off luck could have been 10 and 6.

Took forever. Never even got water after twenty five minutes. People who came in after Us were served! The hostess said she would correct the problem, but ten minutes went by and nothing happened. We got up and left.

Went here for lunch and enjoyed the food. Had a buffalo chicken pizza (after seriously considering the Mac and cheese pizza). Really good sauce with a mixture of blue cheese and buffalo sauce instead of tomato sauce. Cheese was plentiful and the thin crust was the best I've had. Not too thin like saltine crackers and some texture and flavor. The homemade chips were great as was some of the wraps. Looks like a Fridays or Applebee's (used to be a Fridays) but not in a bad way. Better food but the good atmosphere.

2/20/2015 Slow initial service, entre arrived too soon after we were served our soup, Lasagna way too salty. I doubt I'd return. We had reservations and we were promptly seated, though I had to reposition the table so we actually had room for the five of us to sit at the table, for some reason it was very congested where we were seated. We waited more than 10 minutes for a waiter to appear at our table. There were a number of empty tables that evening so I can't imagine they were too busy. A stiff string was found in one of the bowls of clam chowder, when we asked what we were looking at the waiter said it was a "stem" and later explained it was the string used to tie the thyme together, either way not really edible and we were not offered another bowl or any apology. The entries arrived well before we'd completed our soup and to my dismay the Lasagna I ordered had far more salt added for my taste. The other entries ordered were well received and enjoyed. Nice atmosphere, not too loud, oodles of televisions, refills were prompt and the service for the remainder of the meal was quite good.

Since Moretti's is right by my job I come here pretty often, and people from my job order from here almost every day. I have had a variety of things from here - their pizza is great (probably one of my favorite things on their menu), and the BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad is my go-to. There is something for everyone on their menu. I love that you can sit outside, they have pretty cheap beer specials, and the service is decent. Oh and their bread is amazing. However, I think that the food is a little pricey. I would rather have smaller portions for less money. I can't tell you how many times people have said that their order was wrong when we have ordered delivery. And even though their pizza is great, it is really expensive. So, I would and will come back, but if it wasn't so close and convenient I'm not sure I would come here as often.

Worst service I've ever had here. Sitting at the bar, the blonde bartendar was playing on her phone for the first 5 minutes after I sat down. Another customer came in and instead of taking a look around the bar, helped him first. She finally came around to me and took my order. Later she came around to get me another drink (jamo/sprite). I took a sip and it was all sprite. When I was finally able to grab her attention, i asked for a little more Jameson. She poured two shots worth into my glass, essentially making it whiskey on the rocks.

I had a wonderful dinner with a large group here. We did not make reservations, and for that, we waited. Not the best waiting area I might add. The food and service is good though. It is a great place for a family dinner or a group dinner.

Sunday night spaghetti special. Bartender made me feel like I was a bother to her cleaning. Asked for marinara got meat sauce. She actually stopped talking to me mid sentence and replied to a text for a minute or so. Amazing. Plopped down my bill at 10:25 and said were closing early pay now. Everywhere I look it says open til 11.Wow, I really hope she gets the interview at Costco she's going for. Pretty clear that customers are bothersome to her. Poor service ..... yup.

I worked close by here up until 2 years ago when I retired. I've been back 4 times since then. I probably came here a total of 10 times before that, either as a sit down meal or sometimes a delivery to work. The pizzas I've had in the past were good, not the best I've had. Their sit down entrees, steaks and chicken dishes, are pretty good and they've been willing to accommodate. I had their tomato caprese salad and tenderloin steaks the other day, which was up there on my star list. They have glutton free menu choices as well, including pizzas. The service is good, on time and efficient. They check back on drinks and refill, and requests have always been handled promptly. In the past, I placed a large delivery order (~$200) for the next day and they showed up on time with everything correct.

It's important for me to mention that Moretti's makes my favorite pizza in Chicago: the chicken BBQ. Do yourself a favor & get it with a side of their ranch dressing...seriously amazing. You're welcome. I should also mention that I prefer the Edison Park location both for food & service. The problem I have with both locations however, is that they seem to only hire female bartenders and, apparently the ones with either the least amount of experience or the ones with the least amount of customer service. Maybe just the dumbest they can find? As a female myself, I'm comfortable enough to grab a quick drink/bite by myself at the bar. I'm friendly and also industry. My point? I'm easy, know what I want and tip generously. Every time I come to the Schaumburg location, I get some twit bartender who doesn't seem to see me/remember I'm there. It takes forever to greet me as I watch her make sure that EVERY guy at the bar is checked in on, joked with, (read flirted with). She will avoid me until I literally have to call her over to get a menu, a drink, a refill...u name it. It doesn't matter which female bartender. So...wtf...you're right...I don't want to sleep with you and I'm not going to pay you and your baby's way in this life, but I'm pretty easy to take care of and I will tip you. So pleeeeeaaaase stop ignoring the women at your bar. Greet EVERYONE within one minute...isn't that written somewhere? I will never go to the Schaumburg location again because 5 or 6 times of this nonsense is too much. I tried to give them a chance, but your twit bartenders suck.

We stopped here on our way back from an exhausting trip at IKEA. Really easy to get to, decent sized menu and solid reviews. The restaurant itself was clean, not too loud considering sports were on, and depending on the sun to window ratio throughout the meal - well lit. We had an excellent waiter. He was very attentive, had a good personality and seemingly was on our team. You know someone's on your team when they don't assume everything you don't eat is trash. Because it's not. Although you enjoyed the bread that was served before the meal very much you may not have had room for the whole loaf considering the bread sticks and pizza that were on their way. On this visit we did want the bread to return at a later time and date (yet to be disclosed) so we hid it amongst the leftover bread sticks. He didn't scoff or assume everything was garbage, instead just piled the whole thing into a Styrofoam clam - even topping off the bonus red and garlic butter sauces. High marks for the waiter. The food is good. As previously stated the loaved bread was good as was the whipped butter. The bread sticks were kind of eh. I wouldn't order them again and you don't really need to. The pizza was really good - not the best thing on earth but just solid. We did thin crust with half mac 'n cheese (with bacon per the waiter's suggestion) and half pepperoni. Both sauces were good. Good toppings. It reheats well the next day. Otherwise the service was quick. The food came out appropriately fast and everything was in it's right place. Highlights - the service, pizza Lowlights - bread sticks, beer selection

We eat here once in a blue moon due to proximity. I like that they have a buffalo chicken sandwich on the menu. It's not outstanding in any way, but if you just want to eat, it'll do. Service was okay, nothing to write home about (same with the food & ambiance).

I came here recently with the hubby's fam for my brother-in-laws birthday on a Sunday evening. We really enjoyed it and the service was great! We ordered a couple appetizers (the stuffed mushrooms and spinach dip), which were both tasty. We also ordered two pizzas that were delicious as well! Our server was wonderful and took great care of us. My sis-in-law brought in dessert (which I think is great that you can bring your own dessert). They have great drink specials through out the week, like Thursdays is $6 martinis! Yes sir!!! Seems to be a family friendly place! I wish they were closer so they could deliver out our way! ;) . Will definitely be visiting here again!

Recently moved and was in a pinch and unsure of where to order pizza from . I had been to a different location of Moretti's years ago and didn't remember how the pizza was so decided to give it a try. When I ordered, they told me it would take an hour to get to me. About 40 minutes later it was already at my door! I was impressed even before tasting the goodness that is Moretti's pizza. This pizza is by far the best in Schaumburg (having lived in the area my entire life) It is perfectly thin and crispy and the sausage and pepperoni were phenomenal. I will definitely be ordering from Moretti's again!

I was at a local hotel and found this from fellow yelpers. Chain feel kind of place. Took advice from yelp and ordered grilled calamari appetizer and a 10 inch pizza. The calamari was surprisingly good. It is large and I could have stopped here. The pizza arrived and it was so hot I burnt my mouth. Anyway, good but reminded me of Domino's thin crust. Was not standout at all but simple and tasty. For $6.99 a good value. This place is ok for a quick bite. No complaints.

I can't believe people aren't talking about the BBQ pizza in their reviews...!!!! What's this world coming to? Here's the dealio people: You must stop at Moretti's and grab a BBQ pizza - it's FANTASTIC. I am willing to drive twenty minutes each way to pick it up. It's so good. I can't say that my review is totally fair. I've never even eaten in the restaurant. I used to frequent the bar when I lived closer by. We'd go with a group of friends and hang out in the bar for a few hours, and sing (listen to) karaoke. But, the restaurant part was always busy. So, while here, we always used to order food at the bar and it was always really good. We usually got the pizza. Service is usually fairly good, obviously it depends on who you get. Restaurant is nice and clean. It's definitely worth a stop. And considering this is just a local little restaurant, and the # of reviews it has - that should tell you something. LOTS of people like to come here. Definitely give it a try. Have I mentioned the BBQ pizza? GET IT.

I've attempted to have this restaurant twice but only succeeded once. First time, I called for delivery and after much discussion they decided they don't deliver to my part of Schaumburg. We tried a second time and succeeded this time. We ordered a large pizza and chicken parm meal and it was $35. I was taken aback by the price. The chicken parm was average at best. The pizza has potential but it was lacking sauce that I had to stop eating it. I prefer Little Sicily's much more.

The staff was great. But.... never had worse Italian food. Pasta was crunchy Sauce was dry and tasteless. I'm generally forgiving but I sent three entrees back before giving up. I mean... how can you screw up spaghetti and meatballs. And lasagna? Thankfully they only charged me for my wine and salad.

I have been to LITH and Bartlett locations before and have always enjoyed the experience. We checked out this new location on a Thursday night after just opening. Our bartender, Adam, was awesome! Very friendly, pleasantly attentive, and entertaining with his talented bar flair! Since we had such a great first experience, we decided to go to lunch over the following weekend. Our second experience was nothing like our first. We sat at the bar and ordered food. The bartenders were slow. It took about 15 mins after we had closed our menus for one of them to come over so that we could order. After all of that, they had forgotten to put our appetizer in. When we asked about it after our pizza came out, the bartender said, "Oh, did you order an appetizer?" Ugh.....

Average. Basic. Commonplace. Decent. On average, I order out for pizza twice a year. It's not very often, so I like for when it to be spectacular when it happens. And as you may have guessed from my succinct opening, Moretti's just didn't do it. The pizza I ordered was simple, but something that I feel is a good test as far as judging a pie. Any pizza can be delicious with juicy, salty pepperoni, it's like the miracle all-spice for pizza, but mushroom and black olive- well, that takes talent. Our pizza was lacking flavor in crust and our sauce was rather watery, when it was even present. The toppings were pretty sparse and at $5 for 2 extra toppings that were hard to taste amongst all the average. I found myself raiding the spice rack for anything to add for more zest. A bit of oregano and a cornucopia of crushed red pepper would have done wonders for this semi-downer, sub-par pie. I would like to note that we picked up for take out and didn't get the full Moretti's experience, but the inside dining area did look fun and like a good gathering place/respite from Woodfield Mall.

For my wife's birthday, we met some friends at Moretti's. It's been around a while, and only a couple of miles from our home, but we'd never tried it before. Svedka Vodka was on sale for $5 and they offered it as a martini for $7, so I had one - no I had two. They were good and just what I needed after a tough day. For dinner I had Vermicelli with Pomodoro Sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The sauce was outstanding. Most Pomodoro sauces I've experienced didn't have the chunks of garlic and onion that this sauce had. Suffice it to say that we'll be checking this place out again soon.

Moretti's is great- I'll be totally honest. I just can't give a five star review because their prices are a little outrageous- you'll easily pay well over $20.00 for a pizza that's very good, but you can get better for a lot cheaper. It's a very good thin crust pizza, could definitely be a little bit crunchier. Everything else I've tried has been fantastic- they have a delicious chicken wrap and a cannoli dessert that you dip pieces of cannoli into a mascarpone cream dip- yum! They have a nice patio, but not a lot of good drink specials. Good ambiance inside, but I think they'd do a lot better if they made the prices more reasonable and improved the drink specials. The only reason I would go there that is unique is the pizza and I've already found a place nearby that is much cheaper.

Went here w my BFF and her fam for a early bday din. It's a pretty big restaurant, kind of reminded me of a big Chili's. Their menu is pretty large, didn't know where to begin! I am so used to ordering from Cheesecake Factory (CF), so I ended up trying their version of chicken Ramono w garlic mash. It was pretty good, CF still better though.

Had a reservation for our wedding rehearsal dinner 10/23 which we made a couple months in advance , when our party of 30 showed up there was no record of our reservation. I had email proof of reservation but the private room was booked by someone else already. After 30 minutes of going back and forth they finally accommodated us with seating in the dinning room. Manger did honor original pricing quoted but no other compensation was offered. When we asked for additional discounts for the mixup and hassle we were met with resistance and they did not want to do anything else to make things right. Our party of 30 stood at the door waiting an unacceptable amount of time, my fiancé and I were very upset that we our reservations weren't accounted, I spent over 20 minutes trying to pull reservation up on my phone and was very upset they forgot about us . I expected better treatment after a mistake like that. Food was good, servers did a great job rushing to take care of us BUT MANAGEMENT failed to make this right. Our bill was over 500.00 and I feel like our concerns weren't addressed in a professional manner and correctly. We won't be back and I think I can speak for our wedding party that they won't be back either. I would like to add that I posted this same feedback to their FB page and rather them them reaching out to see what they could do or to apologize they took down the rating/review rating on their profile.**** I also wrote a email to corporate ACE Ala Carte Entertainment, here is the response John,We received your message re: Moretti's and apologize for the mishap. The manager Emily is no longer with us and should have called the GM for a problem like this. Please email me your address so I can send a GC that will invite you out for dinner on us and will hopefully let you know we care and use us again in the future. **** I did receive a GC from ACE but clearly they don't get it, the issue we had was for our wedding rehearsal dinner so that would imply that my wife and I both were involved, the gift card we received might cover the cost of maybe 1 person. All the frustration and effort we have went thru I expected more than a measly 25.00 gift card. Remember we spent over 500.00 the night of the issues.

Great thin crust pizza! Good pizza but service lacked a bit. I would go back anytime I am nearby and want a pizza!

Good food as always. Went for their pizza, but the two of us each had a dinner special. One had the streak with Parmesan crust and the other had chicken topped with crab meat. We to mushroom appetizers, which took a long time to came out. Waitress and manager came by to apologize and we go the app for free. It was busy, so I can see why but nice to get that kind of service. Love their food, will be back again!

Visited Moretti's while in the area for a trade show. Had a salmon blue cheese salad that was great. BIG slices of blue cheese, moist salmon, candied pecans, and more. Very generous portions. Yum! I'm very glad this was the restaurant within walking distance of my hotel.

More of a 3.5. Surprisingly pleased. Definitely one of the better restaurants in the burbs. Atmosphere was also quite nice and spacious with various different seating areas and plentiful TV screens. Place is definitely known for their pizza and had a variety of toppings including italian beef and giardiniera (must try next time). Had their bruschetta to start which was very good. I had the mushroom risotto. While not bad, next time I would stick to pizza. The rice was well done and not al dente. There was nice flavor and mushrooms were plentiful that included about 3 different types. It was a tad saucy and salty for me. My bf ordered the special of a chicken pasta dish (forgot the exact name). However, our waitress put in the wrong order and got him the other special of fish and shrimp. She apologized and my bf chose to stick with this dish and she assured us there would be a discount, as it was her mistake. When our check came, we were very surprised to find that my bf's meal was completely comped. It would have been more than enough to have charged us the price of the chicken dish (as it was less than the fish/shrimp) but it was free! That is great service. Would come back again, but likely will stick to pizza. What was a somewhat setback (though understandable) for me was that while it was nice for them to explicitly state this in their menus, they use pre-made Barilla pasta in their dishes.

It takes quite a bit to venture out and place a delivery order with a different pizza company. We all have our favorites, of course, so I felt a little like Benedict Arnold when I eschewed my folks' favorite 'za delivery in favor of Moretti's. But hey, if ordering this delicious pizza is wrong, I sure as hell don't want to be right. Let's get down to brass tacks: 1) Service: 4/5: The nice lady on the phone was a bit confused, directionally, but once she figured out that I was on the East side of Schaumburg, order & delivery were in motion. That being said, I'm not sure they deliver to the West side...perhaps they should put clearer delivery boundaries on the website. 2) Pizza: 4/5: Solid. Nice neutral sauce with just a touch of sweetness and tang, right amount of cheese and a crispy thin crust. It was the perfect vessel for lots of crushed red pepper. I would speculate that the 12" can feed two hungry people, but, hey, I have no idea how much pizza you prefer to consume. Leftovers were just as tasty. 3) Bruschetta: 5/5: Sweet Jesus, this is some delightful bruschetta. Little toasted slices of country bread topped with deliciously garlic-y, basil chopped tomatoes and covered with a hefty slab o' buffalo mozzarella. Get some and try to share, if you can. If I remember correctly, there are 4 pieces to the order. 4) Value: 4/5: While you can clearly read that I enjoyed said meal, $22 for a 12" pizza an bruschetta seemed a tad pricey. Nevertheless, next time I shall take a moment on Moretti's website and printing a coupon or two before calling. The only thing better than a delicious meal, is a delicious discounted meal. Have I found my new pizza delivery fave in Schaumburg...I think so!

Many thanks to Sandy the catering manager! I placed a small order for Christmas Eve and she treated me like a VIP spending thousands on a major catered event. I originally wanted to pick up my order the day before and Sandy talked me into having it delivered, freshly cooked and ready for the table. The delivery person was at my door EXACTLY on time and the Chicken Limone was piping hot, beautifully packaged and ready to serve. This is the 3rd time I've ordered Chicken Limone from Moretti's for the holidays, becoming somewhat of a tradition. It's phenomenally delicious, a true crowd pleaser and this year was the best ever! Why cook when you can have such fabulous food delivered to your door?

Our party of four stopped in for drinks. What a waste of time. We ordered one round of drinks as we took our seat at the bar. We waited and waited for the bartender to come by to order our next round. She was too busy talking to her two friends at the bar. We actually tried to get her attention by calling to one of her friends as the bartender was completely unaware of our attempts to get her attention. The bartender was so involved with one of the two friends. When she finally came by she looked at us wondering if we needed another drink. When we said yes somewhat rudely, she proceeded to tell us she just came by 13 minutes ago. WTH! An entire period of the Hawks game went by. To top it off there were less than 8 people at the bar and only one table of six near the bar. Needless to say we will not go back.

This is one of those restaurants I really want to give 4.5 stars to because it's approximately quite good. Quick service / cooking and good prices (especially the Mt Prospect location) are definite pluses but it is sometimes inconsistent with the cooking. When the bread comes freshly out of the oven it has a nice chewy inside with a nice crispy skin. This goes great with the bruschetta which is pretty good but is a bit pricey (except for when you get 4 - 6 pm half price appetizers) for what you get. The soup here is okay but better than what you'd get at most comparable restaurants. I wasn't a huge fan of the specialty pasta here. Seemed a bit heavy flavored for me although Biaggi's also puts too much sauce or salt in their pastas as well. The simple pastas that come with entrees such as sea bass (flaky) or eggplant (amazing) are done fairly well. The burgers are surprisingly good here, both the cheese and Jack Daniels burger. I hope you're hungry because they are generously sized and come with a choice of fries or chips (homemade, take this choice!). The wraps are pretty good as well although the Italian beef isn't that impressive. You can go to Johnnie's Beef or Portillos nearby to get your fix. The $2 desserts are not as small as you'd think they are. I enjoyed the cannoli dip although the carrot cake and tiramisu are a notch above. I especially love how strong the expresso flavor came through in the tiramisu.

GO COYOTES! BLACKHAWKS SUCK. I get to say that because I'm the Duke of this place. If you've got a problem with that, then check in here and take it away from this audacious Arizonan. But NOT before you chow down on what I feel is some of the best thin-crust pizza I've ever had. Seriously, just bursting with flavor. That crust is amazing. That sauce is top-notch. They're not too stingy with the toppings, either. If you're feeling brave, go for the mac 'n' cheese. The asiago crust is also decent, and the deep dish will do, but that thin crust is where it's at. Don't forget to check out some of the adventurous appetizers. Skip the mozzarella sticks and go for some stuffed mushrooms. You'll thank me later. They have a good weekday happy hour on those, and on Tuesday nights, they have HALF OFF ALL PIZZAS. Delicious...almost as delicious as watching your puny team choke in overtime. I'm sitting back at home laughing at how easily we'll cruise through the first round. But if it's any consolation, a round of pizza and beer at Moretti's is so good it might mask the bitter taste of defeat.

We went to Moretti's on a Friday evening. It was quite busy, but we managed to get a spot sitting outside. Service was fairly slow, but our waitress was working hard to keep up. There were a lot of good beer choices. We ordered a large thin crust House Favorite pizza (italian sausage, green pepper, pepperoni, onion) to have some leftovers to take home. It was love at first bite though, and we couldn't stop. Some of the best pizza we've had!

We have had catering and deliveries to my company a few times now from Moretti's. The general consensus is that everyone likes them. Just today we got chicken tenders, wings (three flavors), and cheese sticks for delivery. I found the chicken tenders to be a bit dry but after popping them in the microwave for a bit they juiced back up. So I attribute the dryness to the delivery and time sitting out. The cheesesticks were gooey & tasty once I put those in the microwave, too. We had a very nice delivery guy & perfectly on time! We have had delivery from a couple places for wings...we are trying to find the best wings around for our weekly delivery! My coworkers said they like Moretti's wings the best, thus far.

This is one of our go-to spots. The food is always great! Grilled Calamari is the best, I usually order off of their daily specials menu. Also the minestrone soup is out of this world, the best I've ever tasted!!!

I've been here a few times over the years and always had great experiences. I'm finally yelping over their catering for a grad party this weekend. It was fabulous!! Too many grad parties have similar food, and if I saw another pan of mostacolli and italian beef I was going to cry)-' 5s for chopped chicken salad, chicken limone, vesuvio potatoes, thin pizza and rustic penne pasta with sausage and chicken!!! My guests all raved over it and we are still eating leftovers. Everything from the cheerful, helpful ordering person to pleasant delivery and setup was a breeze. If you want a party with food to be remembered this is the best in the northwest suburbs!

If you order one item, order the chicken limone, The chicken limone is awesome and flavorful with a nice side of angel hair in a tangy lemon sauce. The pesto cavatappi is also great and a wonderful portion of pesto curly pasta. The striped tortollonis are fantastic and have marscapone cheese in them and the mushrooms served with it are great. For appetizers try the artichoke/spinach dip. We had it delivered and it traveled well with little pita slices. I have not had a bad delivery experience. Although they aren't connected to Grub Hub...ahem, hint, hint and I can't automatically order off my iPad and I physically have to phone them...my lazy butt loves their food and will actually call someone to get it delivered.

My fiance and I have always been fans of Morettis... my fiance worked in the one in Fox Lake for 3 years and I worked at the Chicago one before it closed down for 2 summers. It's always nice to come back and try their food! We started off with yummy bread (which I had to ask the server for as she walked by). Usually, the server brings it to you with every meal... My fiance got the Parmesan Crusted Salmon ($15.99), I got the Gnocchi A La Vodka ($11.99), and we also got a Parmesan Crusted Salmon to go for my father. The Parmesan Crusted Salmon was yummy as always! However, the portion has definitely gotten a lot smaller than we remember! My Gnocchi A La Vodka was delicious as well! It had arugula, tomatoes, and delicious sauce! However, the portion was much smaller than I expected. I got a call from my parents later, asking if we gave them our leftover salmon. They said the salmon serving looks like a half serving and that they thought we gave them leftovers. =/ I wish I looked at it before I gave it to them. The service was pretty bad too. The waitress started off nice but then NEVER came to check on us after she took our order. She walked past us literally 5 times and I had to scream "excuse me!" and ask for something. every. single. time. 4 stars for the taste of the food only. and because we are somewhat biased. otherwise it'd be 3.

Thin crust bbq is my favorite thing here. The calimari is also good. The wings are average, definitely forgettable. I don't really remember what they tasted like, I just remember I didn't need to order them again. The meatball sandwich is big and isn't bad, it just needed a lot more sauce there was almost none on it. I try other stuff there, but always go back to the bbq pizza.

I'm surprised not many people have commented on how horrible the service is here. I've waited forty minutes for a salad that wasn't done how I ordered it. They've made my co-workers and I very late on our lunch break on more than one occasion! I work across the street and it will take them two hours to deliver something. I wish their BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad wasn't so darn good or I'd never go there.

I've finally found my go to local thin crust pizza joint! The crust is crispy, buttery goodness and the fresh toppings complimented the sauce and crust so well. It's been a long hard search to find a good thin crust place out in the burbs but I'm so happy to have finally settled with Moretti's. I haven't had pizza this good since I've lived in the city and that's saying a lot. We also tried the grilled calamari appetizer which was fresh and done surprisingly well. Just the right amount of char and a small salad on the same dish that paired fantastically with the squid. I'll be trying their pastas and other dishes in the future but for now they'll be getting all of my carry out thin crust pizza business. I think the leftovers are just about done now so I'm going to have to cut this review short!

Stopped by after a morning of shopping. The place was dead on a Sunday afternoon. That should have been my first clue. We had a toddler with us and asked for his food first. The server was friendly, but seems more interested in cleaning the front lobby. We ordered our food - and explained we might be needing to leave soon. We also put in an order for carry-out. I watched her use cleaning products then go get food and bring to the table. After waiting a while we decided to leave - food hadn't arrived and we asked why- she said because its freshly made - ok ... so we waited some more .. then she came out with one bag. She returned with a carry-out container for the baby's food and used her hand to push into the container - YUCK! After another 10-15 minutes she comes out with the 'to go' order. I guess she either didn't put the orders in together - or the kitchen was watching football? Service and food was so slow. So I get home and open my salad (that was made fresh) and the lettuce is wilted and the other ingredients are so small - I questioned what type of salad I actually got. BTW paid $10 for wilted overdressed salad, two slivers of avocado, 1/2 boiled egg and some tiny pieces of bacon and cheese - nice..... this on top of the bread/appetizer plates being dirty (I think someone left from previous table) and no top on the ketchup bottle. The Moretti's in Schaumburg needs work!

I was a guest at the Embassy Suites hotel in Schaumburg, IL and drove past this restrauant. I decided to check it out. I was dining on my own and was going to place an order to go and head back to my hotel, as it had been a long day. Instead, I took advantage of the 1/2 price pizza deal offered on Tuesday's. The 1/2 price special was for dine-in orders only. I ordered a 12" Margaretta pizza and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I woud have to say that it may have been the best pizza I have ever eatten! The next evening I ended up there again and really wanted to order the same pizza, but decided I would try their pasta. The pasta was not as good as the pizza. I found the pasta to be way too salty! The bread was good, but the salad was not very inpressive. I was disappointed with the limited wine selection, as they only had one brand per type. I had a glass of their Pino Noir and did not like it! I ate at the bar and had a friendly server. Order the pizza and you will not be disappointed! 5 Stars for the pizza!

Let me first say that the pizza here is VERY GOOD. If you're looking for a review on the taste of the food, I'd give it 4 stars. Unfortunately, this is a review on my experience as a whole. I went to Moretti's yesterday for dinner with my mom and my yia yia. We got there around 5:45 and were given a pager and told it would be about 20-25 minutes. We did wait about 20 minutes before we were seated at a table in the back. It was the closest table to the kitchen. Normally I'd ask to be seated somewhere else since my yia yia hates sitting by the kitchen, but the place was slammed. (1/2 off pizza on Tuesdays will ensure a busy restaurant). Now, you would think that being so close to the kitchen, we'd be greeted right away. Not the case. By the time our server, Rachael (she didn't give us her name, but wrote it on our receipt), greeted us, we were already ready to order our drinks, appetizer, and pizzas. Our appetizer, a caprese salad, took an extraordinarily long time to come out, seeing as it didn't have to be cooked. While we were waiting, they sat the two tables surrounding us, and it got really tight. my mom was back to back with the man at the table behind us, which pretty much imprisoned the man next to us between the tables and the window. When he was ready to leave, the people at the other table had to get up and push in their chairs so he could get by, and he still knocked into my mom. After our pizzas came, Rachael never came back to check on us, and I had an empty cup just waiting for a refill. We ordered sausage pizza and mac & cheese pizza, both of which can make a girl thirsty! Rachael was very attentive to all her other tables around us but completely ignored us until we had to flag her down for a check. I got my refill... but someone else dropped it off while Rachael was printing our check. While we were waiting for Rachael to come back so we could pay, the hostess came by to try to seat the table next to us. (the same table that required people to get up and move so the man could get out) The table hadnt been cleaned yet, and it was missing a chair, and the hostess wanted a busboy to get in there right away to clean it up and get it ready. My mom was pretty fed up with being knocked around and told the hostess just to take the chair she was sitting in and she'd move to another spot at our table until it was time to go. She also told her how Rachael had been scarce, and asked if she would just take our check. The hostess was apologetic and apologized again when we were on our way out, and I appreciated that. However, she didn't apologize for the hullabaloo over seating that corner table. Step it up, Moretti's. You know you're going to be busy on Tuesdays, so maybe consider scheduling your "A" staff and moving the tables in the back so there's a little more wiggle room.

We have eaten in the restaurant once and ordered delivery 2 or 3 times from this place. They are Awesome! Their Italian food is not limited to something smothered in red sauce or Alfreedo... oh no... They have chicken lamone that is delicious, bucatini chicken reggiano that is to die for, and their Tortelloni-Pollo with Mascarpone cheese made the eyes roll back in my head! You gotta eat here it's not just red sauce over pasta! These guys are fantastic - great recipes! ... and they have a great sports bar and summer patio area too!

I write about the pizza only, because that is all I have had here.(They do have pan pizza, though I have not tried that one.) The menu has more than just pizza and I found the menu well diversified. We have been here twice, and had the Margherita thin crust pizza twice, the crust is crispy with a good subtle flavor. We came back the second time because the pizza was just so good. If you love thin crust pizza like me, you will not be disappointed. I think the crust is the most important part of a pizza, it is the foundation for whatever is layered on top. One plus I like about thin crust ~ is they are automatically lower in fat. I would not say it is a diet food, but certainly lower in fat than a pan or stuffed. Very fresh salads, and the service was good both times we went there. The atmosphere is what you would expect in a pizza place, a little noisy and TV's everywhere. But hey, it is what it is, right ? Oh, they have plenty of parking too. Bottom line, I plan on going back.

Ordered a pizza and an appetizer for delivery to the hotel next door. They forgot my appetizer and I sent the pizza back too as I wanted my order together as I was putting the appetizer stuff on the pizza so I didn't want a cold pizza when my appetizer should show up--which for all I knew would be another hour. However, they remade the pizza which was really good. The sausage appetizer with peppers has to be a huge profit item with 3 little pieces of sausage. It was good (and SPICY) sausage, but for 8 bucks there should be a few more pieces. The bread that came with it was good, and it came with REAL BUTTER. It also has a nice tomato-ish broth over the sausage and peppers that would have been yummy to dip the bread in--but alas I smeared butter on it (it was hot and soft--I couldn't help myself) and ate it long before I opened the container of sausage and peppers. Live and learn....LOL It was good. Pricey (even with the free delivery) but the cheese on the pizza was thick and cooked just the way I like it and a few bucks one way or the other is never my deciding factor....yet. It may be if my health insurance gets any more expensive...

Note: This review is for delivery service only, have not been in to try out the restaurant. Really good pizza, even if it did seem a bit pricey. The sauce is tasty, without being overly spiced or sweet, and the ingredients were all cooked evenly. We had the "House Favorite", which has sausage, pepperoni, green pepper, and onion. We also ordered the baked goat cheese with bruschetta (really just toasted bread slices), which is TO DIE FOR. I could make a meal out of that alone. The people on the phone were very nice, and helpful, and the promised hour for delivery took only 40 minutes. A keeper.

I'm not sure what people who live in the area think of it, but we had a great experience here tonight! We were looking to watch the Bulls game after a day at Woodfield Mall and happened to chance upon here. The service (Ashley), the variety, the food, the ambiance, the noise level, the dessert, the TVs (40ish of them) -- everything contributed to making it a generally very relaxing and fun night! We had their basil-tomato bread, think crust pizza and carrot cake! And they had a cute fireplace!

Moretti's is a convenient place to meet with friends since it's right off Rte 53 and close to Woodfield Mall, but far enough away form the Mall so that you don't have to deal with the crazy traffic around that area. The "Good": Reservations for a party of 9 for 630 but they were good enough to seat the few of us that arrived early. Wonderful service from beginning to end. We never seemed hurried and the waitstaff didn't seem bothered that we lingered there for 3 plus hours. They even offered to take our picture when we whipped out our cameras (9 friends plus alcohol equals fun pictures) The menu is huge--lots of apps and salads to choose from. They offer many dinner specials for reasonable prices. You can also order mini-desserts which might help prevent that food coma guilt (that is if you worry about things like that) The seafood chowder is wonderful. Good chunks of clam and a rich broth. If you order hot tea, they bring out hot water for you and let you choose from about 12 different teas from a box that they leave at the table. They also leave extra mini carafes of hot water for you too. The "OK" Pizza was just ok. I didn't find it spectacular. I was kind of disappointed because there were quite a few good reviews about the pizza. We shared 2 different kinds--sausage/mushroom/green pepper and pepperoni/spinach/onion. I liked the crispy crust, but found the toppings/cheese to be kind of bland. I added some of the table Parmesan (which I normally don't do with pizza) and that seemed to make it better. The "Not so good" For our party of 9, they put two round tables together. So unfortunately, that left 2 people that had to sit in the funky space where the 2 tables meet. I saw a bunch of square tables--very odd they just didn't put those together. Lots of TV's around the area. I bet the place is even more rockin' when there's a big game playing.

So this place has been growing on me over the last year. There were times in the past where I had certain sandwiches or wraps that were just ok, and I never thought to myself lets go to Morettis as a first pick, but lately that is changing. I am a huge fan of their happy hour specials (at the bar) with half of apps all the way till 7 pm. They have great bruschetta, buffalo chicken strips, and app salads. My friends all really like the eggplant parmesan sandwich and I have enjoyed that too. The buffalo chicken sandwich does not disappoint. My one recommendation to the establishment would be let us enjoy the happy hour specials in the beer garden in summer and don't force people to sit inside. Service is normally good, but don't sit yourself at a table around the bar make sure you see a hostess for that. Pizza is better than expected.

I've never had a bad meal here!! It's always our first choice for a nice dinner out. It can be a bit loud, but we don't mind. Love the poker and trivia game consoles. The drinks are amazing as well and there are always new dishes and specials. There is a large variety of food to chose from. Great pasta dishes, chicken and of course pizza. My fav. is the tortellini con pollo. HUGE cheese filled tortolini w/ chicken, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and asparagus. Absolutely delish! Also, the chicken romano is another favorite! YUMMO! You can even get a $10 off coupon if you register for their rewards program!

Pizza mediocrity is absolutely, unacceptably insane in Chicagoland, the Motherland of Pizza. Well ok, maybe it's more like the Auntieland, since NYC is arguably the Motherland, but you get the idea. With so many excellent places for pie in this town, I was shocked at how crappy the (thin crust) pizza was from here. The crust was dog biscuit hard, and I think that may have been the best part. The sauce tasted like salty vinegar and the cheese was gluey and tasteless. That ol' pizza-is-like-sex analogy... um, nope. No, thanks. The upside is that the staff is super nice, very Chicago-y, all smiles and delivered with great service!

People from the office have been here and rave about lunch, so I stopped by a couple weeks ago. It bustles at lunch time, but the dining room is large and seems to have plenty of seating. I had the beef tenderloin sandwiches. You get three small sandwiches, but the beef is extremely tender and cooked to perfection. The horseradish sauce is a nice compliment. I'll be back.

Prices are fair, service is good, food is decent. Good place to go for after office drinks. Easy to watch sports here. Can detect a bit of a bar smell near the bar. Never had the pizza there, but it does look really good.

I love Moretti's thin crust pizza!!! I especially like the BBQ Chicken Blast Pizza....it has a BBQ sauce as a base, chicken, onion and cilantro..it's just a perfect palate pleaser! Whenever we go, it's always a tough decision between pizza, salad (I'm a huge fan of the BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad), Eggplant Parmesan and the three cheese panini (it has bacon, tomato & avocado!!). Yes, maybe I know the menu a little too well, but I can't help it. My family absolutely loves this place and Moretti's has yet to disappoint us!

Some of the best thin crust pizza around! Love the 1/2 price deals on Tuesdays at this location. Great salad too. Next to Finn McCools which they also own. Be prepared for a short wait on some evenings. Nice outdoor seating in the summer.

June 22, 2012, I took my family out to eat at Moretti's while we were on vacation in Chicagoland. I like deep-dish pizza, but most of the time I crave that thin, crackery style crust that I grew up on in the Midwest. I was told Moretti's would be a good choice for Chicago thin-style, so we made our way over there early on a week night. The place was not too packed, but there were certainly several tables already occupied. We ordered a goat cheese appetizer and a 14" pizza with half sausage & mushrooms and half just cheese. The goat cheese is served in a dish, bubbling hot, over some thick marinara sauce with garlic toast for dipping, It was quite good. I thought the sauce was a little too much, but the goat cheese was superb. The pizza came shortly thereafter, and it lived up the recommendation. Nice, crispy thin crust with a zesty sauce, but not too spicey. The cheese was plentiful and the toppings were very good. Not the best pizza I've had, but definitely worth coming back for. Our service was good and the prices were reasonable. The place is clean and pretty casual, but more on the loud side, as it is also a bar. You can also get food to go (they have a take-out window). Overall I thought Moretti's was very good and I would certainly make a return visit if I was in the area again, but it was not a complete knock-it-out-of-the-park homerun. Close to but not quite 5 stars. Give it a try; I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I called in for a pizza delivery but wanted it delivered at a specific time. Lady on phone was very pleasant and helpful. Pizza was delivered right on time and hot. Taste great!

Got the thin crust with sausage and mushrooms. The sausage is really good because its large crumbles. The only thing that irked me was that most of the toppings were concentrated in the middle of the pizza and not really spread out to the crust. Decent pizza place but not really somewhere I would go out of my way to dine.

I went here for the first time with my fiancé and our friends. Our friends had recommended Moretti's and their pizza, so we decided to grad dinner on a Saturday. We did not have the pizza, but the pasta was amazing. I'm a lover of pesto cavatappi and Moretti's was one of the best I've ever had. My fiance had the chicken parmesan sandwich, which he said was just as tasty. The proportions are a nice size, so you don't leave hungry, but they don't give you so much that you over stuff yourself or feel like you need to be rolled out of the place. The service was pretty good overall. Since we went on a Saturday, we did have a 15-20 minute wait, but that's to be expected. Our waitress was very friendly and tried to make sure we were taken care of during the rush. Overall, I am more than pleased with Moretti's and will definitely be returning. Maybe next time I'll try the pizza!

Having been to the streamwood location many times and being in the area we decided to give Moretti's in Schaumburg a try for dinner. Just like there streamwood location the food here is fantastic. First off the Brushetta here is the best i have ever had. I don't know if it is the olive oil they use, the fresh tomatoes or the fresh mozzirella cheese but it is to die for. For dinner I decided to have the pizza and was very happy when it was served pipping hot. You can tell the wait staff here was right on top of things because the pizza just came out of the oven when we got it. The crust was very crispy as well. All and all great Itialian food, I look forward to comming back.

I have been here many times, however this one was extra special! I am on a special diet right now and the chef made me an incredible special pesto pasta dish with grilled calamari. His pesto is one of the best! You can even get a hint of nutmeg! The pesto is an off menu item, so don't expect to find it on the regular- but enjoy! Morettis, you continue to exceed my expectations. Thank you.

Thin crust wasn't that thin, our 14 inch had too much cheese in the center sections. Pizza was just ok, not one of the best tasting I've come across lately. Service was very slow, wait person either had too many tables, which only looked like 5 to 6 tables, or was having an off day. The staff at the front desk was fine and made you feel welcome and made you feel they valued your visit, as a side note. Sandwich, fries and soup were very good, so only pizza middle was not crispy and somewhat too thick with cheese. The pizza was off for our visit. We'll give it a return visit in the near future for another pizza opportunity, and just say easy on the cheese, and sit in a different section.

The garlic wings are amazing...although your heart may stop after five of them. There is something about the pizza that is addictive. I'm sure they put crack in the sauce. The service is what makes this place 5-stars. Make sure to ask for Ashley or Beth.

Continue to go back to Moretti's in Schaumburg for reasonable prices, good atmosphere, and awesome food. The Italian Cobb Salad is excellent, so good that even though I love their pizza I order it when I dine in. The Moretti's burger is just okay, and this is the only place in the Chicago area that I can say the thin crust pizza is better than the pan. Service is hit or miss, I have had fantastic service twice, including today, and lame service twice. I have been to the Edison Park and Mt. Prospect locations, this one is superior. The apple strudel dessert is awesome, save room.

Regular (average once a week) quick dinner place for us especially if we want something light. 1/2 price appetizers in the bar area(only) M-F. 1/2 priced pizza on Tuesday evenings dine in only... best to get there before 5:30 or call in a reservation. Service is pretty quick and always friendly. Can get really noisy especially on the Tueday night 1/2 priced pizza evening... lots of family and other groups. A few too many kids to suit our taste but then that is why we always ask to be seated in the bar area. Love the thin crust pizza....love the crisp crust. SO NOT like Domino's as stated by another reviewer. And YES the bruchetta appetizer could be a meal in itself!!! (we have done that).

had to write a review for this place, literally came here 5 times a week for a year that I lived in IL because it was right outside of my apartment complex. The food was very hearty, good pizzas and always had some kind of weekday special. But I really liked the cozy atmosphere which is what kept me going back over and over again instead of learning how to cook. definitely not a special occasion kind of place, but if you are hungry and it's a weekday, perfect place to grab a beer and pizza and chill.

OK, I work across the street and I go to Moretti's for lunch every couple of weeks or so. The food is almost always good. Actually it is surprisingly good. My wife and I had lunch there yesterday. I love the Italian chopped salad. My wife had a Cajun grouper sandwich. It had great flavor and was big. Eating outside always adds to a nice meal. I have had them deliver soup and salads to my office and it always hot or cold the way it should be and very fast getting here.

So great that our little social group has been coming here every week for at least 2 years now. Food is amazing, appetizers are ginormous, pizza is delicious, and the specials guarantee that you'll never get bored even if you come here multiple times a week. Service is outstanding (you might get an odd ball once in a while thou, which is true for any place really)

Went to Moretti's tonight for dinner. It's very close to my house, and was going to cook dinner, but got a coupon for a $10 large 1-topping pizza. That decided it! They were very flexible in letting us eat indoors, when my reservation was for outdoor seating - even though there were some people there waiting. The server also was nice and very fast in changing the tv channel when we asked (gotta watch the ballgame). The food came very fast. Pizza was great - thin crust pepperoni. Not too greasy, but very filling. Also texted to get coupons from them, and immediately got a coupon for a free mini-dessert (chose the tiramisu - and it was the perfect amount), which our server let us use. I was not expecting that - usually you cannot combine coupons together in one trip; but our server (Kendall?) was cool with it. So we were cool to her, tip-wise. Plus, we were in & out in an hour. Reservation was at 7pm, and here I am at 8:15 writing the review. Great place, noise level not to loud, very good food - plenty of deals to be had if you look & sign up for their emails ahead of time. Looking forward to going back soon. Probably when I get a coupon. Haha.

Family went for pizza - kids with thin crust and wife and I for pan pizza. The thin crust was okay but the pan pizza had little taste. Disappointing for such dull deep dish in Chicago.

I have yet to dine in, but we've had delivery and carry out. Your salads have been a weekly pick up occurence on Wednesday nights when night classes have me a bit rushed. Your thin crust pizza is a must for delivery on a lazy football watching day. Have also tried your lasagna and alfredo pasta and soups. My family has yet to be disappointed!

Moretti's serves up really good food. I had their spaghetti and meatballs (boring I know) and my g/f had the Chicken Limone. Portions are insanely ginormous - we both had leftovers. Place is busy so you may want to call ahead for reservations. Lots of good beers on tap and prices are pretty reasonable. If you are looking for tasty food in huge portions - stop by Moretti's - you cannot go wrong.

I love Moretti's thin crust, its spectacular. This location is more fun in the summer/spring and early fall, like their Edison Park location. Main botheration would be service, its value inconsistent. Some days fantastic service, other days, just terrible waiting time. This has nothing to do with whether it was a busy or slow day. They'll host some alc specials, call ahead. Each location have a few menu items that differ.

I love going to Moretti's. I always go Tuesdays because they have 1/2 off on the pizzas, which is a great deal. Nevertheless, I visit this place not only because of the deal but also because of the great thin crust pizza. Their pepperoni and mushroom pizza is just amazing. Love the extra thin and crispy layer of dough and the taste of the pepperoni on the top. Their sauce reminds me of the Ragu sauce, which I love on spaghetti. In addition, they have tables also outside which is a plus for the summer time. You can enjoy the cooler evenings under the sky, The service is very fast. LOVE THIS PLACE! The good experience I have there is good reason to travel from Elmhurst to Schaumburg every Tuesday night.

I actually signed up just to write this review. I am staying at the Hyatt Regency very near here and ordered delivery from Moretti's 4 days ago. I ordered after learning about them from GrubHub. On GrubHub, the chicken parmesan was like $14. When I ordered it was $15. No big deal, I said nothing. GrubHub said free delivery, they tried charging $2.50. I told them that GrubHub said it was free and they took the charge off. The food came relatively quick and was decent. The next morning I became ill. I left work and laid in bed all day, at least when I wasn't vomiting. That day was horrible. The following day was bad too. The next day my stomach was better, but I developed sinusitis from the bug. Now today I spent close to $300 visiting the doctor and getting prescription antibiotics and Flonase. I called just to let the restaurant know so that others don't suffer as I have. I was transferred multiple times just to tell my story to some employee who would then transfer me to some other employee who would then transfer me again. This place obviously doesn't even care that it's poisoning it's patrons. Zero stars from me.

Great place to eat. They can be a bit busy at dinner hour, but the food is fantastic. I love the pizza, chops, and just about everything else. I have also have several fantastic salads there as well. Drinks are great, and there is plenty of eye candy around the bar to look at which is always nice.

I have only had their pizza via delivery...NEVER again...I tried them 4 times to be fair...pizza was VERY expensive and enough to gag a maggot!!! I gave them two stars instead of one, because I have only had delivery, never actually a sit down meal there.

  • Mike S.

Did not actually eat here because the $10.00 coupon we were to use was only good for carry-out or delivery. The fine print on the coupon specifying carry-out/delivery was so small you needed a magnifying glass to see it. I truly believe this was a classic bait and switch to get us in the restaurant. Our party of four left and had a very nice dinner at TGI Fridays. I suggest you look at any Moretti's promotion very carefully before going to any of their restaurants.

We have had delivery and dined in. Both times we have had pizza, so I cannot review the other dishes, but the pizza is very good. It is a great place to go if you are into sports, you can catch just about anything on the crazy amounts of tv's they have in the place. They have a good house wine and a fun martini sampler too. Waitstaff is good, not excellent but good. This place does get busy but I would still recommend it.

This place is great! The menu has something for anyone and its reasonably priced. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed as well as our server. The guy was excellent! Funny, polite and very tentative. The chicken tenders were delish! One of my friends had the filet burgers and he said it was some of the best meat he's had in awhile. My boyfriend had a shrimp and soft shelled crab meal and was also very pleased! Overall- great place to eat and relax.

Friday night, no wait. Hmm, suspicious. Gaggles of women looking they tried very hard to look cute (when we all know they look better in jeans and casual sweaters) were abundant, drinking frou frou drinks. Husband had the veal, he said it was good. I ordered the trio of something, with shrimp, chicken, and beef. The rice was not good, but the rest of it was great. Bathrooms are nice, but oddly laid out. Not too pricey, no long waits. I think I had the pizza before and liked it. Nothing bad to say, but nothing great either.

I've been here twice at this Schaumburg location and had great food each time. Both times I had the BBQ pizza, loaded with sausage, pepperoni, bacon, and onions. Delicious!! Lots of TV's, so I imagine it would be a great place to be during any type of playoff's or big game. I just might make this my hangout during football season. Go Bears!!

  • Joseph P.

I'l be upfront - we were here as part of a large group with a "package" arrangement that I didn't choose, and on a busy Friday night at 7. This one-time TGI Fridays has morphed quite a bit over the years and was quite full. Our package included 2 appetizers - a passable Mozzarella sticks plate and good Bruchetta. Just be sure 1 little "biscuit" of B and 11/2 sticks of M are enough for each member of your group. The salad was simple and the dressings were ok, but it ran out before everyone was served! Main course was a decent family-style Mostaccioli and several one topping pizzas. Plenty to go around. The problem is the pizza. If I got this from Domino's on a 2-fer deal I would be disappointed. Here, the Cheeze and the Pepperoni pizzas were absolute tasteless garbage - light on topping and flavor. The Sausage and the Spinach ones were just a bit better - maybe up to Pizza Hut-on-a-down-day standards. Service was spotty but generally pleasant - after all they had guaranteed tips. So, based on this "sampling" I would never think of getting a thin crust pizza here, and maybe just stop in for appetizers and drinks only... if you are buying.

The last few times I've been here, the service has been awful. There is an extremely rude bartender that works there (forget her name), and the pizza crust is far too dry. The quality has really dropped off at this place in the last year. It used to be very good.

Live near Morettis and friends and I often walk there for drinks and dinner. Food is fine, nothing special (actually the chicken romano is pretty fantastic). The service on the other hand is terrible. We usually sit in the bar area so we can have a booth and the cocktail waitresses are horrible. They are pretty snobby and will disappear for ages. Once we sat at a table for 20 minutes and no one came over, we finally asked to be moved the dining area. On another occasion we asked for a check and it took the girl 45 minutes to bring it. We were tempted to walk out without paying it took so long! The girls we have had in the dining area have been pretty good and the bartenders themselves lovely but I don't recommend sitting in the bar area unless you enjoy neglect from your waitress. Most of us have been servers/bartenders at one point including myself and I understand that sometimes things get crazy busy but that isn't the case here. They just are not very good at their jobs :P

Wonderful restaurant. The service is great and the food is just as good. The pizza is a very thin crust pizza; almost New York style. It is very good and is one of my favorites. We usually get the House Special. The burgers and sandwiches are also very good. The spaghetti is well above average. The beer selection is very good. The house wines are also quite good. The bar area is nice. My wife and I usually get a booth in the bar area.

Good deal. I've ordered Moretti's through Takeout Taxi several times and have always been pleased. Great rustic italian food. I just recently visited the resturant and it was exactly as I pictured: no frills and laid back. You can go in here looking a mess, order a hearty meal and a beer, and catch the game. Prices are great too. You know that friend/family member that you just can't take anywhere fancy? The one who's idea of dressing up is putting a "non-ratty" sweatshirt? Sick of taking them to Applebee's, Chili's and Outback? Take 'em here, everyone will be happy.

Moretti's- You have redeemed yourself. You do want my business! You have screwed up my delivery orders a few times, but when I complained to corporate, I received a call and gift certificate from a high level executive with genuine concern and gracious apologies. Thank you Billy McFall- I missed Morettis's and I'll be back!

This is a great place for late dinner and lunch. The staff is always great and very patient, they don't give you attitude if you sit there the whole night. The food is great and moderately priced, drinks are real good too. In the summer time they have an awesome patio, who doesn't like outdoor seating. Try their specials certain nights you get 50% all pizza, and if you register on their website your first time you get $15 off your entire purchase and also a free dinner for your b-day, that helps!

I have been to this location several times and have not been disappointed. The food is always top notch and the service is great also. The waitstaff here is friendly and keeps your drinks full! I like Moretti's in general and have been to 3 of the locations now, and have had consistent food quality and service as well. Definitely a chain that has me stopping in all the time.

  • Kat A.

lotsa food . . . excellent bread . . . okay spinach dip . . . and maybe they should go up a star because they let us sit in a corner table and talk for three hours without complaining and continued to ply us with coffee and whatever we asked for - but while the service was marvellous, the food (even the bread) really was only average. so Moretti's is only a 3 star experience. Unless you're there for football or xbox (wireless remotes guys 'n gals!) and then that bumps it up a few to a four star piece de resistance!

We love this place and eat here quite frequently. I've tried almost everything on their menu and it's ALL good, including their pizza. Portion sizes are good and represent good value. Service is consistantly good and they never rush you out of there, even on their busiest nights. Register on their web site for specials and coupons.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
