Reviewing our first catering order from Relish. 5/5 stars because everything was excellent from day one. From my initial contact with John to the delivery and set-up by Adam. I couldn't have asked for a better meal for my senior guests! I used Relish for a monthly luncheon at the senior center where I work. We had just under 40 guests on 5/20/15 and everyone raved about the food. I ordered a version of the BBQ buffet; BBQ chicken, mac 'n cheese, apple citrus slaw, baked beans, corn bread and peach cobbler for dessert. We served 39 guests, but the amount of food could have served 50. Wow! Another perk-it's good ol' comfort food. The kind your Grandma made. Pricing per person is extremely economical and they have a great variety of a la carte, buffet options and add-ons to choose from on their menu. Prices included utensils & plates. I'll definitely be using Relish on a regular basis. You really can't go wrong ordering from this local business; extremely accommodating, DELICIOUS, friendly, great communication, HOMEMADE willing to work with you, punctual and TASTY. Yay! Thanks, Relish! You're my new favorite!
Kudos to Relish again. My Mother in law had Relish cater to her house in the city for a family gathering for our relatives out of town. She was very pleased at the prompt on time professional service , keep up the good work
I used Relish Catering Kitchen for my wedding. This company is wonderful! I was recommended to use them from my venue, the Hoosier Grove Barn, because of their great quality of food, their familiarity with the venue and reasonable prices. I had been lost when it came to catering my event and I am glad I listened to my wedding venue. I had a guest list of about 80 people and Relish was very good about not only responding to my needs via email, but were kind to suggest things and be flexible with things I did and did not want. They were very professional and prompt when corresponding with me via phone or email, no matter what small or strange questions I had. My husband and I were very excited about the food when we had our tasting; everything we tried was very good, especially the mashed potatoes. A silly thing to fall in love with, but the quality of ingredients were wonderful. The staff was friendly and accommodating leading up to and on the day of the wedding. All the food was great and my husband's family especially raved about the sirloin. What more can I say, I feel like any event, big or small, this caterer can do it and do it well. Highly recommended!

Grandma Rose’s Pizzeria

The pizza is good, The mushrooms are awesome, most places I've ordered from had soggy breading on the mushrooms...Not this place, the breading was very crisp. The fried zucchini is very tasty also. I will order from this pizzeria again.
I can't write about the ambiance since I ordered online for delivery. If they had TVs, I would have dropped by to watch Purdue beat IU ;) I ordered a garden salad and a small pepperoni and mushroom pizza with double crust. Since they actually cook the pizza, it takes longer than 30 minutes for delivery but it is worth the wait. This pizza is awesome! Grandma Rose's uses a thick marinara and loaded the pizza with thick slices of pepperoni and fresh mushrooms, and then covered it in cheese. The crust was crunchy and chewy. Even after it cooled down (the small was too big for me :o ), the crust remained chewy and never got soggy. The outer edge is cracker-like, even when cold. I'll be eating the leftovers tomorrow during my drive back to Texas. They even included two kolaches!
I cannot even believe how much I love Grandma Rose's Pizzeria. I have ordered from her twice via GrubHub and every.single.time has been amazing!!!! I have had their tomato basil soup and their vegetable soup as well. I've had their quesadillas, their wings, their pizzas, etc. I love everything they have to offer!!! You NEED to order from them!!!

Starbucks

When I review chains, I try to focus on what is difference about this branch than it's other franchise branches. At this branch I found the staff are extremely friendly and thoughtful. I've been to other Starbucks that never offered to toast my bagel, never offered to ask regular or non-fat cream cheese, or even provided with a plastic knife to spread my cream cheese! Every time I visited them for 10 weeks every Wednesday morning for my community pharmacy rotations at the CVS next door, this staff always had my caramel creme brulee latte and my bagel with cream cheese with everything I needed. I really appreciated that. I also appreciated them saying "Hope you have a great day" each time.
I go out of my way to come to this Starbucks because of the Baristas . It's also close to some good friends.
Love this Starbucks- super friendly, fast service and they always get my drink right! (The previous Starbucks I went to NEVER got it right, so this is a huge bonus for me!) They make you feel welcomed when walking in or ordering through the drive thru. There was one time I was in the drive thru and maybe waited only 2 minutes for my drink and the barista apologized up and down for it. To me, 2 minutes is fast for most Starbucks locations during the morning rush. Props to having a great crew and great customer service at this location! You've gained a loyal customer... woohoo!

Ok seriously, I don't know what other Yelper's were thinking when they said "the prices are good." A 12 oz smoothie will cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of $3.50. But..... These smoothies are f---ing delicious! The ingrediants are fresh! You can tell by how delicious it tastes and plus you can easily see them make your smoothie upfront. Best drink I ever had was from Surf City Squeeze! But 3/5 stars for the insane prices.
Hands down the best smoothies in the Chicago-land area. Whenever I am at Woodfield, I definitely make it a point to get a strawberry banana smoothie from Surf City! Their smoothies are so creamy and delicious and its gotta be healthy right (please don't tell me otherwise!)?? There is fruit in it for goodness sakes! If you are at Woodfield, by sure to stop by and pick on up. They are on the lower level by JC Penney. Oh, and be sure to have cash...they don't accept credit cards (they really should though...who carries cash anymore?)
This place has the BEST smoothies (my favorite is the strawberry banana)! I can't leave Woodfield without one! The people who work here are the sweetest - they always have a smile on their face!!!

We've been here 5 times in the last couple of months since we discovered it. It's that good. I can't say enough good things. Everything is wonderful from the service to the food. They really take care of you, including everyone's preferences on the how you like your meat. My favorites are the top sirloin and the house special, rare. Yum! We will continue to return. This place is just as good as Texas De Brazil or the likes, just with less damage to your wallet. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great meal.
Damn that's good! Can't say enough good things about Brazil Express Churrasco Grill! Not only are the service staff friendly and helpful, but the food is fantastic! I would strongly recommend it to anyone. Well worth the price of the buffet-style lunch or dinner! Oh and it was spotless. The eating area, the staff, the buffet, everything was exceptionally clean.
Awesome food! My first time coming and was so happy with the delicious food and customer service. Staff and owner very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back!! :-)

Oh. Em. Gee. How did I not know this was here this whole time?! So...I'm not Polish. Let's just get that out of the way. However, a few of my close friends are, so I kind of feel like I am. Anyways, at first I thought this place was just a deli. Um, no guys. It's a grocery store, deli, bakery, and wonderful heaven of a place. You can literally get all of your grocery shopping done here. I don't know what my favorite part was. The mass amounts of meats, or the bakery with all of the freshly baked bread (that smelled amazing!!). They have all different kinds of Polish goods - from candy to kolaczkis to pierogis. You name it, they have it. And everything is really decently priced! And of course there is the barrel of, what we like to call, dirty pickles. We came, we saw, we bought, and we ate. I know we will be back!
Krystyna's which is the real name of this place, is a totally awesome polish grocery/deli. It's a local (Chicago area) chain and the deli is huge with every kind of European based meat product you could possibly be interested in, at fair prices. The sausage is the best available anywhere. The Keilbasa is perfect, the bock and wiesswurst as excellent the chicken/pork is very fresh and the blutwurst is ...........well, it's blutwurst, not much you can do with that. Every bit as good as it can be. The grocery side is a fully stocked store with everything you remember from the old country. The bread comes both from outside bakers and is baked fresh (daily, and on busy days every four hours) in store. While the meat counter has a limited selection of fish, they have a good selection of both dried and pickled fish on the shelves. There is an entire row dedicated to pickled vegetables-mainly cucumbers but also cabbage, radishes, mushrooms etc. There are two wooden drums with self serve sauerkraut and herring in the produce area. WOOT! The attached wine section in addition to a small but high quality stock also has extremely high quality vodkas and spirits, however the beer is all polish with a few domestic options. Assuming you are not interested in cooking the deli has a full range of items ready to go ranging from soups (borscht) veg and meat dishes. Just about everyone speaks polish, but everyone also speaks English as well. The only tricky part is when a line is present for the deli meats and the numbers are called out in polish. Usually they figured out that my blank look indicated that I'm not a polish speaker and compensated accordingly. Be advised that the grandmothers and grandfathers in line will dispense advice freely on your deli selections. It comes across as charming as opposed to annoying. This is a seriously wonderful European grocery.
The food is awesome here, but the shopping experience is incredibly AWFUL, especially if you are not the only customer in the store. Every time I come here, the checkout process takes 20 minutes for just 2-3 items I may be buying; it's caused me to visit Jewel [across the street] a lot more often now. Krystyna's management, please note the following: 1) You need an Express Lane... "10 Items or Less" 2) Your cashiers need to tell people who have been waiting in line for 15 minutes that THEY are next, not the person who just joined the single open lane with a full cart. This is one of the worst things about your store and the patrons are never ethical in allowing those who have waited the longest to go first. It sucks! 3) Get rid of the sushi section. This is a deli and nobody buys this stuff here. 4) Add more employees to the Hot Food Bar. This area takes forever if I'm willing to wait and waste my time.
