I have ordered a few times since my initial review. Each time the good food and fast delivery were consistent. Last night I ordered through Grubhub and the delivery man did not speak or read enough English to operate the intercom in the lobby of my building. I called the restaurant and spoke with a woman who was not helpful at all. She kept laughing, which may have been a nervous response, but was very annoying. She told me to cancel my delivery. The driver got in with the assistance of my neighbor who called up for him. I ordered Fish with String Beans and there was very little fish. Usually it's about 1/2 and 1/2 but this time it 3/4 beans and 1/4 fish. The food was heavily salted and I could not finish it. I had to drink 2-32 oz glasses of water afterwards to get combat the salt. Very bad overall experience. I will not order from them again.

GREAT TAKEOUT AT A GREAT PRICE! EVERYTHING is good here! The crab rangoon is always fresh tasting, the potstickers are a great size and very flavorful, and every chicken or beef dish my husband and I have ordered has always been delicious. They give you a TON of food, so you can definitely have leftovers for lunch the next day. You definitely feel like you get your moneys worth and everything is flavorful. Check this place out! You won't be sorry!

This place used to serve good food and their lunch specials were great. I had been going there at least once a week for several years because it's walking distance from where I work. Unfortunately, the place is under new ownership and the food is now quite bad. Sesame chicken used to be crispy and with just enough sauce but now the chicken is covered in sauce and is chewy and bland. Worst dish is the beef chop suey... it smells like an animal cage at the zoo and tastes just awful. Not sure if they are using old beef or bad sprouts or cabbage but the smell made me gag. I almost took it back to the place. Anyway, I won't be going back there anymore. Kind of sad to see a good place get run into the ground by inept ownership.

My wife and I had the crab Rangoon, pot stickers, egg rolls, chicken fried rice, and beef with pea pods. Everything was amazing, hot, crispy, just perfect. Definitely our new go to for Chinese food. Fully recommend it. Can't wait to try other items here! Ohh and also the small sizes are huge, two people could about eat half of them. $22 for our meal and we could have fed four! Ohh and ordering online is great!

Disappointed....1st time the food was good, yummy rice and delicious eggrolls. The 2nd time...burnt eggrolls and too much soy sauce on rice.... Sorry but going to look elsewhere.....

Not impressed by the service. Picked up but the single person at the counter never acknowledged me and my companion. Almost five minutes after arriving and watching her juggle two phones taking orders, a man came out of the back after i started waving in his direction and handed us the food, which was already paid for online (through Grub Hub). No pleasantries there or apology... We didn't even get a "please hold on a minute." Food was decent, though chicken in the sweet and sour wasn't the best quality. Curry chicken also decent, but nothing to write home about. Portions are big - a large can feed at least two. Egg rolls were quite good. That was the first and last visit for us!

I've tried everything from crab rangoon, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, coconut shrimp, both white and shrimp fried rice, to wonton soup. Each entre is delicious and satisfying! I live close by and the delivery service is quick and friendly! Two thumbs up! :)

First time ordering here and it was good. I appreciated that I can request no MSG in my food and the orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken were both very good and flavorful. It consisted of nice big pieces of chicken. The lunch/ dinner specials are huge for good price. Came with egg roll each and a drink. I ordered mine with shrimp fried rice which was really good. No skimpy little shrimps, they were decent sized. My only small complaints are no fortune cookies lol but also I've ordered from other places where after you spend a certain amount of money you get something for free like 2 egg rolls on the house. But, I still enjoyed my food. Everything was tasty.

I am giving To Your Taste a 4 star rating. I ordered for the second time and they made a mistake with my order. I called them and the replaced the wrong item. They had my food within 20 minutes.

I want to give this place 4 stars but I just couldn't pull the trigger. We ordered from here off of Grubhub.com . I have passed this place on my way to work numerous times and we are always on the lookout for decent Chinese food without having to drive all the way out to Darien for our standby Gong Ho. The fact that I was able to order online is a huge plus for them as well and it was very easy to do so. I ordered the Orange Beef, vegetable warmein, egg rolls, potstickers, and sesame chicken (no it wasn't all for me- just most of it). I specified on the order that I wanted the orange beef to be spicy which it is supposed to be already. While the sauce was tasty it was about as spicy as ketchup. The vegetable warmein was not what I was expecting with very soggy spaghetti noodles. I was looking for lo mein but that wasn't an option on the menu. The beef was tender which is a plus. The eggrolls were standard, a bit pasty. The potstickers were a hit, they were the meatiest potstickers I have eaten in a long time, nice and filling. The sesame chicken was also pretty good. My wife and I would order here again, I would just need to stress Extra Spicy on the order next time and not get the warmein or egg rolls. The order came on time as quoted in my email and was accurate as well. However, for right now it looks like Gong Ho is still our go to place, especially for lunch...the search continues.

Ordered Kung Po Chicken, clearly states that is is spicy but it had no flavor. The vegetables were undercooked and had very little chicken. I gave it 2 stars because the eggroll was good.

Don't let the nondescript appearance of the restaurant fool you, this is one of the best Chinese places in the Chicagoland area. The fried rice, S&S chicken, crab rangoon, and orange chicken are all fantastic. The serving sizes are enormous ($26 can feed a family of eight)! I highly recommend this place for delivery and take out.

Hell ya! This place knows what they are doing. You say 'spicy' and they are cooking it! They cook eggplants like no one else. Their orange chicken cannot be matched.Their eggrolls are fat and handmade. I refuse to eat anywhere else.

Good for the price. Fast service. As the other review, it is a safe bet for Chinese food. I also recommend China Kitchen in Lyons because you get a lot of food for a reasonable price.

Usually good, sometimes okay. Overall it is a safe bet for Chinese carryout or delivery. I recommend China Kitchen in Lyons over this place as they are cheaper and always good though. But since China Kitchen is closed on Mondays, if I needed Chinese food on a Monday i'd go here.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
