Went and ate there and then the next week went back and it was closed. Food was the best I had in a long time. Do not know what happened but I hope they reopen

We went to Vince's last night for the first time and we will definitely be back. The service was really attentive and made us feel extremely welcomed- which was nice because it was our first night in a new city. I had the lobster ravioli in the vodka sauce- it was DELICIOUS. it was creamy and hardy and the seafood inside was cooked perfectly. My fiancée had the Sicilian spaghetti which he loved.. And had 2 meals worth of leftovers after eating enough to be full. We had the fried calamari as an appetizer- it was really good. I love places that can fry the calamari but still leave the flavor of the squid intact. And their batter was "melt in your mouth" delicious. We also had the garlic bread and pizza bread which were good with the pasta sauces. The rolls were warm and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside- just as they should be. The waitress also brought us the fried dough dessert with grapes- and I did a little over eating just so I could try a couple. They were simply but definitely will be crave worthy later. They're a bit pricy but the portions are huge so you can think of it as getting 2 meals at once. Also, they give a 5% discount if you pay in cash so keep that in mind. Next time we're going to do carry out pizza because it smelled delicious.

Great value - I got an italian beef sandwich, a side salad, a side of pasta and a generous serving of fried ravioli for like 12 bucks. the italian beef was solid too. on another occasion I had wings delivered and they are pretty damn tasty

Disgusting and insulting. My wife and I wanted to take our girls (8 & 5) out for Valentines dinner. We called our favorite local places and sadly, all were booked (most good places are) but Vince's had a reservation so we made one I'm not sure why, as we still waited nearly 30 minutes in their tacky entrance and listened to a very sad "karaoke style" singer. We made the best of it and danced for a while. No big deal, it's a busy night. They were clearly overwhelmed and probably not used to a full house. Finally we were sat in essentially a long booth with other patrons on our left and right. We were all going to have dinner together...not what ANY of us wanted. Very awkward. Still, no big deal, we didn't want to make a big deal in front of the girls, so we didn't say anything. Then we noticed the plates were SOAKING wet with soapy water, even my 5 year old asked what was wrong. I took a big gulp from the water and it was a mouthful of detergent. Now, I'm glad they clean their stuff, but it was really offensive to the senses. I assume the dryer was broken. I asked for new glasses of water and was trying to make the best of it. They had 2 types of bread on the table. One was burnt to a crisp and the other had raw dough in the middle. The waitress was a rude, cold woman who never asked us if we wanted drinks...which my wife and I were looking forward to having. No "happy valentines day" or anything. She jumped right into our order. Again, didn't want to ruin the night, so we started to place our order. They do not have a kids menu so we ordered pasta for the girls to split and added extra salad. The portions look huge from seeing the other tables. She left before my wife and I could order but came back shortly. She informed us that they will not allow us to split the entree because of the holiday. Keep in mind, we had planned to order a few drinks and dessert as well as our entrees...it would had been a decent check for that place. Certainly more than the older couple next to us who shared a pizza and no drinks. Then the owner came over and repeated what the waitress told us. I suggested that we should leave and HE AGREED! I am still shocked at the ignorance and short-shortsightedness of his behavior.

I've been to Vince's three times, and I'd go back. Frankly Vince is a hoot. He always sits down to BS with me and my dad, and has strong opinions as Italian men of a certain age do. I've actually dealt with a lot of "Vince's" here and in Italy and I love the type . But I get that others might not. I always order the stewed codfish with a salad, wine, and I've never been disappointed. Maybe the other food disappoints; I'm low carb so I avoid pizza and pasta.

Took 15 people to Vince's this evening for my father's 92 nd birthday. I can not get over that everyone from the owner to all of the waitreses went out of there way to make it a special night for my father and family. Food was also excellent.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
