Every place I've lived has spoiled me on some local treat. Texas was BBQ, Seattle was Chinese food and Pho, Maine was seafood, and so on. Pizza in the greater Chicago area is absolutely amazing and I'm confident that Chicago will ruin pizza anywhere else I go! Have you ever heard of anyone bragging about the pizza or Italian food in Texas? PRECISELY! Chicago will have people mentioning pizza and Al Capone and Sarponi's will be tops on that list of fav pizza places. They delivery in great time, the pizza looks great and is delivered HOT! The taste is amazing and the wife and I have ordered from them multiple times, each time better than the last.

Definitely NOT Chicago pizza. It tasted like it came from Little Caesars or worse, Chuck E Cheese. The toppings were plentiful but that's a small prize when the rest of the pizza is less than delicious. The sauce is overly sweet, and the whole thing was swimming in grease to the point that the crust was actually wet. We are NEVER ordering from here again. Gross.

Not to bad... Not to great... Typical college pizza. Not necessarily Chicago Style, even though it's in the Chicago burbs. Nice that there is always coupons available online! Pizza usually comes as ordered, with no mistakes. But, they do like to skimp on toppings.

Our order was easy to place and came on time. Sadly, the pizza was not very good. We would have been better off picking papa johns or dominos. It was greasy in an unpleasant way and the sauce didn't taste very good. All in all, a solid late night dorm room option. They are open very late, but I think frozen pizza may be a better call flavor-wise.

I love pizza, so I am definitely a tough critic. I would give it 3.5 stars if that was an option. Sarpino's is good but not spectacular. Way better than places like Pizza Hut, but definitely not the same as a Lou Malnati's. They have a nice variety of toppings, and I like how they have sliced sausage. Could use a little more cheese and a little less grease.

Sarpino's is great - I don't know what's up with all the hate in their reviews! They have good food, good service and are a great option for delivery. The big plus with Sarpino's is there is no minimum order for delivery and no delivery charge. Woohoo! I'm just one lowly female and it's rough goings when places require me to order at least $15 or $20 to deliver. Can't they understand I just want to be in my pajamas and not go out for dinner sometimes!? Sarpino's gets it. :D Plus they deliver until 2am everyday...3am on weekends. Sarpino's has some very cool gourmet pizza options which I think are a little different and enjoy. On my last visit I got the personal sized Alfredo Picante Gourmet Pizza for $8.99. Loved it! I've also had their Mac & Cheese Bites for $4.99. They were crisp and delicious. A very unique side dish. I got a flyer in the mail this week thanking me for ordering with them & giving me a free medium cheesy bread on my next order. Score!

I've had a few issues with prices and the food itself, but nothing that the store hasn't corrected or attempted to make better.

Pizza was good and delivery was on time. Prices online do not reflect what was on the printed menu i had received from the manager a few days prior. Nice to have free delivery too.

They are right next to our pole dance studio, Flight Fitness Studio, and we love getting a bite after class. They are very quick. Their pick up special for individual pizzas is a great deal. My goal is to try every pizza option at some point, but I am hooked on the taco pizza.

Great pizza place that delivers to downtown arlington heights. They have a secret thin crust pizza that is great. My new favorite local pizza joint.

By far the worst pizza in the area, it's even a step below the big chain pizza places. This is the Chicagoland area, there is no need to stoop to the level of inferior pizza chains when there are so many great spots around. I gave this place multiple chances and have yet to be so much as satisfied with anything on the menu...pizza, wings, sandwiches etc. do yourself a favor and order from Wayne's or Papa Savarios

Stop the hate! I love this pizza and let me tell you why in the form of a song: One, go for the thin and you will always win! So sweet and crunchy dear that I don't even mind what it does to my rear (sorry, clearly I am not a song writer.) Two, if you are smart order a specialty pie and you'll never say that I lie. (I highly recommend the Greek Pizza and the Midnight Express.) Finally, you will see that when you buy 2 pizza pies, the second is half-off bull full-on taste. So, where do I sigh for my multi-million dollar singing contract?

better for the price to go any other pizzeria where you can get more and tastier than here the quality here is not worth this money!!!

The only thing that would make a Palatine Sarpinos order better is if it was instantly here and free. Since that won't happen no matter how hard I wish :) I will always be a loyal customer. Regardless of weather, traffic, holidays, etc they are here and the pizza is so good. After about a dozen delivery orders they have proven to be consistent and delicious!! I'm shocked everyone isn't as happy as we are!!

lazy late night greed led us seeking a delivery place after midnight while in the suburbs. i thought 'impossible' however my sister informed me there was hope. 30 minutes later our guardian angel arrives dressed in shabby clothing, toting a warm mexican pizza and a fresh greek salad. delivery was fast. food was awesomeness. sleepy time was filled with glutton filled fat gain. perfecft!

I called to order a pizza for delivery about an hour or two ago. Who knew it was going to be a 21 question game. The guy who answered is asking me if I'm calling from a business. I say no. I try explaining that my cellular device is a company phone number. I would like you to deliver to my home I said. He wasn't understanding what I was saying. He continued to say things like "so am I delivering to a business?" And "This can't be a cell phone." Now that I'm frustrated and at this point feel like this order will take all night he finally says ok what's the address. I give him my address. He says, what's the name. I give him the name. He says so this isn't a business. NO IT'S NOT A BUSINESS! After a ridiculous amount of time he seems to have put my order in. I say ok I have a coupon and it covers a large 3-topping pizza. He says ok what do u want on it. I said I just want half cheese half pepperoni. He says "ok, so the driver can call this number in case he gets lost or needs assistance and you'll answer." YES THIS IS MY CELL PHONE! holy cow these people. Finally my pizza comes and it's discusting! No sauce, no cheese, just oily bread. The entire cardboard box was saturated in oil. Never order from here. Never again will I.

We were in the mood for pizza tonight, so my boyfriend ordered a large thin crust with bacon, mushrooms, and spinach...Oh, AND breadsticks. We opened the pizza box, and ALL I COULD SEE WAS BACON. TONS of BURNT bacon. I mean, I LOVE bacon as much as the next person, and at first glance, a bacon lover would relish in the fact that their pizza was 2/3 covered in bacon. But BURNT bacon?! Ick. Seriously, what is nastier?! I couldn't even taste the spinach and mushrooms... actually, I only knew there were mushrooms when one slid out of the pizza. And the breadsticks? DRY. Not a pleasant experience, and we will likely not order Sarpino's again. Quite honestly, I'd rather make my own Boboli or pop in a frozen pie.

I was introduced to Sarpino's at work, thinking maybe the freeness of the meal clouded my taste buds making the pizza taste better but thankfully that wasn't the case. I love that this location is literally 2 minutes from my house and I can place an order for pickup and have it ready in less than 15 minutes. Short of freeness, the next best thing is coupons and Sarpino's always has a web special. The pizza comes piping hot. I've tried many toppings and they're all good. I can't understand why the bad reviews, but I guess different strokes for different folks.

Is there a negative star? First off, the pizza was all sauce and zero cheese. I had to make sure I knew what a pizza was and resorted to Wikipedia-ing it. By definition a pizza is "a round bread typically topped with tomato sauce, cheese and various toppings." I mean, 2/3 isn't bad if you're used to failing, like this company is. This pizza was obviously sitting out for a very long time. To put it gently, the sauce was drier than the queen of England's snatch. No joke, it was the Sahara desert on my za. The toppings were subpar and I am forced to believe the "Italian sausage" was actually cat feces marinated in death. Harsh statement, but validated. OKAY here's comes my real problem with this "restaurant." This customer service was absolutely offending and demeaning. The delivery guy calls me and says, "hey man I'm here." So unwittingly I go outside and wait 15 minutes. He definitely was not at my home at the time he said. I call back and he has the audacity to ask, "uh ha ha what's your address?" Wait. What? You don't know where I live? You can't read and/or listen? Well, he finally comes to my home... WITHOUT A PIZZA! Where is my pizza, I ask. Oh. What? You forgot it in the car.. He then vanishes for 5 minutes and comes back with 2 "sanitary" pizzas. Yeah. They weren't. Their service and product both deserve to be deported back to Canada. Disgusted.

Food is not very good , but that's not the main problem with this place- WORST customer service ever. Ur lucky if your order is correct, heck ur lucky if they remember to deliver it!! And if u call to let them know they act as if you are bothering them!! It's pretty ridiculous.

Best pizza in the 'burbs by far. Been a vegetarian for a few months, they have so many vegetarian pizzas on hand..which is a plus :) I settled for the Spinach Special. Mighty tasty. It was all greasy, buttery, garlic-y, had a blend of chesses...it was the best I've had out here. Yes I like my pizza greasy..greased it up big time! The sauce is pretty good. I'm glad my pizza wasn't too loaded up with sauce..like how Papa John's does. The sauce is a bit sweet, but it's good that way. Service is okay from these pizza peoples....it's Chicago we're talking. Not a warm, inviting place at all. I don't expect any southern hospitality "how are you" blah blah blah. You walk in..they say, "what would you like", get your food, and that's it. Like a drive-thru attitude. I'll definitely come back- for my Spinach Special.

The pizza was good but the buffalo wings were undercooked to the point where they were inedible when they were delivered. Since they were pricey and I had a child to feed I called Sarpinos back to see if they would either refund the money and come pick the wings up, or bring another order. The man who answered the phone was incredibly rude. It took an argument before the man would put on his manager, and the manager was even more rude. They agreed to bring us a new order and it took the driver 2 1/2 hours. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The calzone was okay but the pizza slices were the worst pizza we've ever tried - greasy, bland, luke-warm, and looked like it had been reheated too many times.

After a pretty horrible day, all I wanted was some pizza. Usually we order from our local Giordano's, but after receiving a flyer for this Sarpino's in the mail we decided that we would give them a shot. At first everything seemed fine. We ordered 2lbs of Hot & Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wings, a personal sized cheesy bread and a personal sized white pizza. About 20 minutes after I placed the order I get a phone call confirming that I ordered the Hot & Spicy Buffalo Wings and not the BBQ Wings, I confirmed. When we received our delivery, in a pretty decent amount of time, we were surprised with 1lbs of BBQ Wings and a cold personal sized cheese pizza (everything was fine with the cheesy bread but it was pretty cold too). We were reasonably upset but seeing how it was already 8pm we made do with what they brought us. Needless to say we will not be ordering from them again. I don't know if it was just a complete miscommunication between me and the order taker, but as someone who spends all day deciphering what people say on the phone, I know I made the extra effort to be as clear as I possibly could be. Usually, I like to give places a chance to redeem themselves but when you've had a bad day and need a consolation pizza, screwing that up pretty much takes you out of the running forever.

This review is based on they're calzones. Awful! If I can provide a visual: Two slices of cheese pizzas smashed together. Once you pick it up in your hand, the medicore thin filling slides to one corner of the calzone and for most of it, your eating just the crust. Boo!

wasn't impressed at all Although the menu is extensive and offers a variety for those with special diet needs like gluten free or for myself and some of my friends vegan/veg choices, the pizza came out dry somewhat tasteless and burnt and the sizes were extremely disappointing, the extra large was the size of a medium from other places Its a bit overpriced for the quality and i really don't think i shall be returning My personal favorite pizza which is very close, cheaper, and MUCH better quality is Napoli's pizza. They always have a great product and the people there are awesome. Not to mention a TRUE XL pizza and $2.00 giant double dough delicious slices Sorry Sarpinos i gave it the good ole college try

Incorrect Order Placed. I had clearely marked No Bacon also wrote No Bacon in the Notes section the person told me they dont read the notes. Very disappointed with the order had to throw it away and did not send a new order even after calling them

I had the large chicken calzone (to go) from this place and it was very filling (came with 4-5 toppings inside) and tasted good, the only downside was that it did not come with much sauce for the size of the calzone.

They say they're open until 2 but they lie, I try ordering at 1:30 and it says I can't place an order because they're closing soon. Don't lie and say you're open when you aren't, you aren't open if people can't order food from you.

Delicious pizza at this carryout-only place. Their sauce is excellent! I can't put my finger on what exactly it is about it that makes it so great, but it's VERY tasty. This location is open from 9am to 2am every day. They have free delivery as well. We got a large half sausage (which is like slices from a sausage, not ground sausage), half tomato and spinach, and it was delicious! We had a coupon that gave us a free medium pizza, garlic bread, or cheesy bread, and we chose the cheesy bread, which was also delicious. We went to a store between the time we called in the order and when we went to pick it up, and they called us to let us know our pizza was done, since we weren't right there when it got done. I thought that was great! They offer individual slices at any time, and they have signs in the window for deals like a slice and a pop for a certain price (I don't remember specifics, sorry!). They gave us coupons stuck in the side of the pizza box, and I'm sure we'll use them when we order from them again.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
