The staff is really nice here especially the owner. The food is good not the best but good. The ton dak (fried whole chicken) is good here very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. If you order soju they give you a couple side dishes which is very nice of them. I would recommend this place if you and your friends are trying to go to a korean bar some some food and drinks.

Their deobboki was very average, it honestly tasted like it came from a package and was not fresh at all Their cocktails are nothing special as well The "boneless" spicy chicken wings were super tasty! I recommend those for sure The interior is pretty simple..nothing special and not quite big so it probably wouldn't be good for big groups unless you call ahead of time to reserve

Decided to check out the new korean bar I've been hearing about with my friend. I liked how they had more drink selections than other korean bars I've been to. For food, we ordered tornado potato, spicy pork, and cheese sticks. Everything was good but man, the cheese sticks were money. I'll definitely go back for those later. Servers were nice and attentive also. I'm sure I'll be going back soon.

(3.5 Stars) Random fact: Agit in Korean means hideout. Since Niles and Glenview are slowly transforming into the new K-Town of Chicagoland, this type of bar seems fitting and normal. The theme of the place seems to encourage debauchery and avoiding returning to your suburban home. Good business model. ::DRANKS:: Your typical Korean drink selection will feature beer pitchers + soju. Yes. The recipe for massive hangovers that make you question your life goals. The only problem was that they only have two types of beer on draft so far (Miller Lite & Blue Moon). Another foul was that they ran out of Blue Moon after 4 pitchers. C'mon man. But still, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and attribute that to growing pains of a new restaurant. They do have a variety of bottled beers, hard liquor, and soju though, so it was not a complete miss. ::FOOD:: Decent bar snack food. Everything we tried has a very salty profile, which is a nice complement to drinking... but I felt like a dried out sponge by the end of the night. The highlights of the food were the ddukboki and wings. -Ddukboki (cheese) - Solid ddukboki with good amounts of odeng, a couple mandoos, and a boiled egg. It has a good sweet & spicy combination that hits all the necessities. You can order it with mozzarella cheese melted on top. -Chicken Wings (2-ways) - Extra Crispy v. Spicy Glazed. Pretty much a rap battle between texture v. taste. If you lovin' the salty crunchiness, holla at crispy, if you playin' that heat with sauciness, blaze with spicy. *drops mic* -Spicy Squid (Oh-Jing-O) - Cooked in a pan with a moderately spicy sauce and assorted onions and veggies. The oh-jing-o was not too chewy so it was a good background to all the other dishes. -Pork Belly & Kimchi (Bossam) - Good portion of pork belly with a few kimchis to accompany it. The pork was a little bland, but then again it's supposed to be. The texture was not as tender as I would like, but it helped that the kimchi was so fresh and so clean, clean. So, if you are seeking for a decent bar to kick back a few beers in the suburbs and talk over a medley of Korean Pop on the speakers... then checking out Agit wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

We went to Agit last Saturday night and I don't plan on going back there again. We ordered 3-4 dishes and they were all disappointing. Their fried chicken was way too greasy, spicy pork was tasteless and their potato fries wasn't crispy as you would expect fries to be. Their service was okay but before we left, we looked at our receipt again and they had incorrectly charged us for three soju bottles instead of one. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I don't recommend anyone to go here.
