Well folks....don't even go anywhere else! This place is as close to NYs finest bagelry as you can get. Nice staff will take your order over the phone and have it ready in 20 minutes. They are always out of poppy seed and mini plain so I call ahead! The Beef Pastrami gave me a foodgasm OMG. Buy it by the pound and get your own bread, strangely ,the bread they offer for sandwiches is way below par. Took me three sandwich orders to figure that out...no worries get your favorite roll or BAGEL and enjoy. WOW the best mmmmmmm
awesome food great value for the money a dying combination
This is not the sort of bagel place that has special flavor cream cheeses, or special blends of bagels. This is a no-frills, non-fancy bagel place. They only have a set number of varieties, and its the typical ones -- plain, egg, cinnamon raisin, you get the picture. They don't try to mix jalapenos or five kinds of artisan cheeses in their bagels. Because it is no frills, the price is very affordable -- like $0.70 per bagel, compared to the $1.50 to $3.00 bagels elsewhere. You can never go wrong with their egg or cinnamon raisin bagels either. In summary, if you want a quick simple bagel for breakfast, I would recommend this place. If you want a fancy bagel with fancy cream cheeses, do not go to this place.

Greenwood Deli - New York Bagel & Bialy

8794 W Dempster St
Niles, 60714
Reviews:
As close to a traditional Jewish deli you can get!! Potato salad with their pastrami is seriously worth living for. Bagels, baileys and house cream cheese are also a reason to pop in!
Very, very, very good bagels. Are they somehow associated with the New York Bagel & Bialy on Touhy? Either way, I have to compare the two, since that Touhy shop makes the best bagel in Chicagoland. Greenwood Deli comes pretty damn close. I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of the food. My one complaint is that the cream cheese is a little runny on a toasted bagel, and becomes too messy to eat in the car. I don't want to wait until I get to work! One other note about this place: They sell half-dozen bags of day-old bagels for only three dollars! That is a hell of a value. Just eat one the first day (or two...let's be honest) and stick the rest in the freezer for toasting at home. I wish that they labelled the bags though, because recently I accidentally bought chocolate chip when I wanted cinnamon raisin.
I went here about a week ago to grab something to eat as it was 3 pm by the time I finished my tests @ Lutheran General. I was famished as I didn't have breakfast of lunch. They have an excellent selection of New York bagels, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I ended up getting the everything bagel w/lox, cream cheese & chives, tomatoes & onions. It was delish. They also have a variety of meat sandwiches like corned beef, pastrami, also very good

I take my son to Kiddie Kingdom all the time with. We always get the Groupons for them. The only issue I don't like is the pizza something with the sauce :( I wish they add some healthy items to the menu as well. But no worries I will continue to keep going :) Very Nice and Clean!!
This place is the best! I take my 8 and 3 year old daughters here and it's great for both their ages. Always clean, friendly staff, good food, and great games.
The place is super clean compared to your Chuck E Cheese joints. The pizza is delicious and made with much better quality of ingredients than other arcade/pizza places. The place has several arcades and rides for toddlers and a good handful for older children. There prizes aren't the best but overall we always have a great time when we visit. It's family owned and you'll feel catered to as soon as you walk in.

Celli’s

Beef is good, sausage is good. Nice people. Sort of pricy, $5.50 for just a beef combo and another couple bucks for fries. With a drink you're into the $10 range for lunch. Guess I'm still old school about what lunch shuold cost. Never had anything but the beef/sausage.
Well it's a SAVOR-EXPO to be concise. I love chicken and will judge any eatery by its salads. Cellis is not shy on defining a true salad. It's not a crappy ball of iceberg with a cherry tomato, in fact, it's multi-veggie bonanza. I ordered it with chicken, which was money well spent. There is an interesting seasoning on the meat that has left me craving another Greek (with chicken) salad. Some places over-do the onions or feta, which will kill it. Cellis however has managed to balance the cheese-to-olive-to-onion ratio perfectly. By my second visit, I had to try the fries. Fresh cut REAL fries are hard to find anywhere these days. In the interest of full disclosure, I do not eat beef. Having said that, my friend remarked that her bacon burger was one of the best she's ever had. She eyeballed the menu while we ate and gave me the oral report of what she wants to try next time she visits. Oh yes, there WILL be a next time. The portions are generous, it's impossible to leave hungry, and the place is squeaky clean. I do not want to forget to mention how happy the owner seems to be. He smiled as we entered and as he greeted each customer behind us. His great nature is truly served up in his great food.
If you're going to be this close to Boobys, you've got to know your stuff. This is a fun place where the food is fresh and the price is right, but the italian beef is a little better than Booby's and you won't have to stand in line as long... of course, as more people try Cellis, this might switch, so, no promises.

What a Dumpling

Dumpling and mandu are so good. Second time is as good as the first time. I'm normally a fried dumpling kind of girl but steamed was so good and the flavor is so good. We bought some frozen mandu and can't wait to cook them up!
Fast food spot for fresh hand made Korean dumplings. You can get them steamed or fried. It is absolutely delish!!! We get a bunch of frozen handmade dumplings for home later. A little secret spot to get great food at a great price.
Normally I goto the Sushi place right beside it but I had a hankerin for some dumplings today. I got the giant dumplings with pork they were really good. They were fresh and hit the spot. I wish they gave more sauce but, eh, thats neither here nor there. Good place to get inexpensive good Korean Dumplings on the fly if you are in Niles

Awesome crowd always! Owner is a doll and the drinks were delicious and have had a lot of fun every time I have been there. Highly recommend this tavern if you are in the mood for a good time and a cocktail!
This bar has free pool tables and some games, but overall I didn't really like the atmosphere. It was quiet and they don't have food (except for frozen pizzas that they beat up). I ordered a Stella and it was $4.50. Even though it was a Thursday the place was kind of empty and the guys there kind of creeped me out with their comments and looks even though I wasn't dressed up at all (jeans and a sweater).
Decided to come on back here and was not disappointed. Once again the bartender and owner were freaking great, polite and nice. The crowd was small for the most of the night, which might not be great for the owner, but i found it excellent. Its a fairly small place so a large crowd would just be annoying. We were able to play darts all night without worrying about hogging the boards or whatever. This place is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite spots to grab drinks and with the specials this place is very fair priced. +1 more star from me and next time i am going to get food. If this place can dish out some good grub it'll earn all 5 in my book. either way you should check this place out, i think you'll like it. My kinda dive - yelp away

the jjam jja myun (half jja jang myun and half jjam bbong) is the best deal and tastiest thing on the menu. the split dish is less than $7 but dont make the mistake of ordering 1 per person. it was WAAAAY too much to finish.
This place is definitely worth the trip.. If you're familiar with Mandarin style Korean-Chinese food, this place has all the popular dishes and their damn good.

The chicken fajita dinner, steak burrito dinner, and chips with guacamole would have to be my favorite. The horchata will not disappoint. Great service hours :)
The food is good but not authentic Mexican food. Quick place to get fast food. Cheap prices. For $15 you can get a fulling meal.
Quick and easy late night food. As simple as that. Ended up going here around 1 am after a night of drinking. Not just for me, but I got the steak taco, a rellano tostada, and chips and guacamole. The steak taco was bomb. Loved it during the night, and even again in the morning for breakfast. The tostada was meh. Other people liked it, I wasn't too fond of it. The guac was really good but they don't give you enough chips. I'm sure I'll be back some night
