Superb prime rib. Great huge drinks. A hidden old world supper club atmosphere on the border of Wisconsin and Illinois right on Rte 14. Ya gotta go!!

1 star because the waitress was nice. The food is bland and bad. We started with the escargot appetizer. Not sure what the topping was. Believe it was some sort cheese that separated. It had the taste and consistency of bland oatmeal. We told the waitress that it was not good. She came back and told us the cook had just opened the can of escargots today. THE CAN!! The salad was standard restaurant supplier bag wilted lettuce. The soup was the standard restaurant mix that makes the cream soup base. My wife had the ribeye steak sandwich. The steak had absolutely no flavor and was served on a slice of dry white toast. I had the ribs. Again bland meat with some sort of bottled sauce on top. At least the bad food took our minds off of the wallpaper that is falling off the wall and the duct tape repairs.

The Big Foot Inn is not bad, but its not great. Pros: + Easy to get in/get a reservation + Really, really good potato pancakes + Good price for the family-style fish fry on fridays Cons: + Ancient decor and facilities + Fish fry is big pieces of fish that aren't always crunchy -- they are okay, but not great. + Service was really lacking. At the beginning it was good, but then it took me more than 20 minutes to find someone to get an Iced Tea refill -- I had to ask the bus boy. Our waitress was non-existant when we wanted more food and the check.

This place is great. Very old school supper club atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had great service by the bartender. Entrees come with a lot of food - you will not leave hungry! Veggies and cheese and crackers to start, soup, salad plus entree and a potato. I had the filet mignon and my buddy had the salmon - both were excellent. I thought the prices were very very reasonable (maybe because I am comparing to Chicago prices), but for the quality and amount of food, I thought it was great.

Great, old-fashion supper club. Very big menu, excellent food.

Hubby and I have stopped in on Sundays for brunch while on a motorcycle ride from a suburb of Chicago to Lake Geneva. Nice variety of good food!

The good thing, you get plenty of food. However service was awful and when it was brought to the manager's attention, nothing was done about it. Also, it was very apparent our food was sitting under the heat lamps for awhile because the meat had dried out.

This is a nice restaurant midway between Harvard, IL and Walworth, WI. They have buffets here on a weekly basis and they are decent although, nowhere near as extensive as the buffets at some of the nearby resorts like the Abbey or Lake Lawn Resort. Prices are reasonable for what you get but if anything, they're slightly on the high side for a place in the middle of nowhere. Fried Jumbo Shrimp were $20 and were JUMBO - unlike the puny ones with a bunch of breading most places serve. I recommend the Butt Steak - it's every bit as good as a filet ($25) but, at $16.95, much more reasonably priced. Entrees come with soup AND salad along with a relish tray and bread basket - you'll be full by the time you leave. Service was very good. The only caveat I have is that if you're used to entrees in the $10-$14 range, you won't find many here. If you're willing to go into the $15-$25 range you'll have a nice selection of entrees from which to choose.
