Love love LOVE Red's pizza. Extremely thin crust, lots of topping choices and Bonnie always makes you feel like family. Very affordable but bring cash or your checkbook- RED'S DOES NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS.
Great corn crust, ultra thin pizza!
I'm going to start out by calling this place a "joint", as it is a small place in rural america. It is all by it's self along a main highway so it can be passed be easily. The establishment is a throw back to the 60's but inviting and comfortable. The owner behind the bar greets everyone that walks in with a wave. If you are a fan of NASCAR you are his friend immediately. The place is decorated with all kinds of race paraphernalia, including a hood. The staff is very friendly as well as the rest of the patrons. You are greeted like old friends by all. Now for the food: I have only had the pizza in my 2 visits here and I can't believe the thinness of the crust. It's super thin, crispy, and yet strong enough to hold up tho the weight of the ingredients on top. The beer is served in cans and bottles, pop in cans, and heard that the wine is served in a juice glass. The rest of the menu items sound inviting and if I can stay away from the pizza I will have to try something else. GO! Try this place and enjoy yourself.

Thanks to yelp I came across this place while traveling cross country and looking for a good breakfast. No cars out front made me dubious, but I went for it anyway. So glad I did! Coffee is delicious - freshly ground and not burnt. Omelettes are thin style (my favorite) with plenty of well spaced fillings and hot melty cheese. I got the Italian omelette and it's wonderfully like a breakfast version of pizza. Service is fast and friendly. If you're in the area, definitely check it out!
Waffle was good. Bacon was old and cold. My dad's biscuits and gravy were mediocre. The biscuits were made of dinner rolls. The waitress was nice. Seems like a lot of regulars enjoy coming here.
They have good breakfast but comes to dinner not the best. Hard rolls like pucks food over done

Superb prime rib. Great huge drinks. A hidden old world supper club atmosphere on the border of Wisconsin and Illinois right on Rte 14. Ya gotta go!!
1 star because the waitress was nice. The food is bland and bad. We started with the escargot appetizer. Not sure what the topping was. Believe it was some sort cheese that separated. It had the taste and consistency of bland oatmeal. We told the waitress that it was not good. She came back and told us the cook had just opened the can of escargots today. THE CAN!! The salad was standard restaurant supplier bag wilted lettuce. The soup was the standard restaurant mix that makes the cream soup base. My wife had the ribeye steak sandwich. The steak had absolutely no flavor and was served on a slice of dry white toast. I had the ribs. Again bland meat with some sort of bottled sauce on top. At least the bad food took our minds off of the wallpaper that is falling off the wall and the duct tape repairs.
The Big Foot Inn is not bad, but its not great. Pros: + Easy to get in/get a reservation + Really, really good potato pancakes + Good price for the family-style fish fry on fridays Cons: + Ancient decor and facilities + Fish fry is big pieces of fish that aren't always crunchy -- they are okay, but not great. + Service was really lacking. At the beginning it was good, but then it took me more than 20 minutes to find someone to get an Iced Tea refill -- I had to ask the bus boy. Our waitress was non-existant when we wanted more food and the check.

Very clean. Service is fast. The food is fresh, well prepared, and the contents of the bag always match what I ordered.
Its a pretty good place; however the hours are goofy but its pretty clean and they never mess up an order.
One of the cleanest and most efficient Taco Bell we have been to. Food always smells fresh and tastes good. Service has varied from outstanding to satisfactory depending on time of the day and day of the week. The level of cleanliness inside the restaurant is the best we have seen in any Taco Bell anywhere in the midwest (which is what bring us to this restaurant again and again). Prices and food preparation are of course dictated by the corporate office.

Really good food and unique atmosphere. Their relish tray was fresh vegetables, cheese, two types of coleslaw, pineapple kiwi grape salad and pate. They also had breadsticks and crackers. We had made reservations so the table was already set up for us with the relish tray which was really nice. I had the shrimp scampi & my husband had the NY strip. Both were really good & came with soup or salad and rolls. They make everything from scratch except the honey dipped chicken & they have their own garden. Our waitress was excellent & overall their service is outstanding.
Always a pleasant evening of relaxed dining here. Food is well prepared and service is quite attentive. Emphasis is on German specialties, but everything is tasty.
Wow. I know I'm a little biased because I'm not used to small town America but there was really just one thing about this place that wasn't totally horrifying: the draft hefeweizen. I'm not a German food fan generally but it was the low quality of the food that I object to. I just ordered a pasta dish and it was not at all as described on the menu. I might as well have stayed home and boiled some angel hair and topped it with some Prego. The decor is completely old school. my father-in-law was looking forward to the 'pâté', breadsticks and antipasto which turned out to be a scoop of brown stuff in a bowl that was already on the table with some packaged crackers, carrot-raisin salad and pickled herring. My husband said his breaded, pounded meat was ok and the creamed spinach was 'interesting' (and he grew up here, lol). I could go on but I won't. Apparently there are locals who love this place. A few, anyway- it was verrrrry quiet for a Saturday night. Not to be mean but if you're at all used to 'city food', you don't want to eat here.

Bravo is the best small town pizza place! All the food is amazing and affordable! The calzones are like the size is half a large pizza ( huge) and the Italian beef is the size of a man's forearm! (At least mine) great service always by brooke!
A decent pizza place. Nothing exceeds expectations but it also will not disappoint if you know what to expect. This is suburbs pizza through and through nothing compared to real Chicago pizza but the norm for the suburbs. Prices are fair.
If we crave pizza delivered to my door - Bravos is always good.

Bopp’s Tavern

Reviews:
Bopp's has really great food, I've been there more than once and enjoy it every time. That being said, it's a shame they aren't very accommodating if they made a mistake to your food. I had ordered Chicken Tenders as Take Out because I was working an art event; arrive to pick it up and was asked if i had cash($10 minimum charge). I informed them no and before i had the chance to say I would go to the ATM to grab cash, the man behind the counter said just run it through. when i arrived back i had open my food to find out they didn't put the buffalo sauce on the side but covered them in it. I couldn't work with that because it would of been too messy. So I went back and informed them, they made a new batch but only included HALF the food the first one had. So its really disheartening that I was left with a bad taste in my mouth; not from the food, but the way they handle their customer service.
Checked out this place last night. The service was good, the beer was cold and the cod sandwich was great. I got the potato wedges and the seasoning complimented the fish, slaw was OK. We were a party of five and no one had anything bad to say. A good place for a good meal and drink.
My mom and I were in town checking out local shops and heard good things about this place from a local coffee cafe so we decided to try it. I had the saloon burger...which was super delicious!! My mom had the Cuban which was also recommended to us and now we know why...yum yum yum! The atmosphere was nice and cozy, especially since the winter weather was turning into slush it was nice to find somewhere to relax. Our service was wonderful, the man that helped us out was super friendly just the way a nice local bar/grill should be. Thank you so much, if you ever read this. : ) I certainly recommend stopping in for a drink or a burger if you're in the area.

Reviews:
The restaurant is pretty much terrible frozen crap from sysco that depending on the cook may be served edible but more than likely will not be. Pretty standard terrible harvard quality but with the added exception of terrible customer service. I ordered a cheeseburger and received it cold. I asked the waitress to warm it up and received it back. I had a few bites to find the center was frozen and raw. I pointed it out to the waitress and she agreed that it was completely uncooked in the center. She did not have the ability to take it off my tab but was able to comp me a dessert which I passed on as I was not in the mood to eat at that point. Months later I stopped in due to some friends being in town. I ordered a pitched of beer. The beer ran out 1/2 way through filling and they asked me to wait while they changed it. It took 20-25 minutes for them to get it changed and they then proceeded to top off the swill from the old keg with new beer and still charged me $10 a pitcher which is ridiculously overpriced even if it was all fresh beer. Every other bar I have been in dumps out the pitcher and starts with a new one and most give you the pitcher for free to make up for the hassle of waiting. I guess they believe people are really there for the ambiance or they are so deep in the red they can't afford to dump out flat warm beer. Terrible/dangerously prepared food, awful customer service slightly below the very low bar set by restaurants in harvard.
I had a really good time here last night. We had a large group of about 10, including 3 young kids. The atmosphere was very cool. It seemed everywhere I looked I could catch the NFL playoff game that was on. Very clean and modern sports bar. Much nicer than I expected, given the location (middle of nowhere USA). The service was very good. Our server checked on us exactly when we needed him to and was very accommodating for all the kid requests. I ordered the Chili Dog with fries. The Chili was good and the dog was huge and grilled! The fries were just ok (your typical freezer fry)...I can see this being an easy change/upgrade for them to make. Many in the group ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich & they all loved it. My Dad ordered the Chili and thought that is was really good...he even threw some of the fries in (I mean who does that?). Another ordered the Club Sandwich & it looked really good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot to catch a game, have some drinks with better than average bar food. They have 2 pool tables, dart boards & a shuffle board table (reminded me of a college bar down in Carbondale). We didn't have a chance to stay long and play around, but I easily could have had a good time if we did. Props to my sister for taking us here, she is slowly becoming a regular @ Stingerz ;) Stingerz is a perfect name for this place, given the High School mascot is a Hornet & it is super close to the school. Nice spot before and/or after a game!
Do they make 1/2 a star? I'll be nice and start with something good: -Clean, comfy, and plenty of space; especially for a Harvard restaurant - Modern -Tvs for watching the game Notice how it doesn't saying anything about the staff or food.... And now for the Bad: -The Staff -The Service -The Food As a regular customer I use to always recommend this place to family and friends. Unfortunately, I will no longer do so. The food use to be the big draw for eating here as well as the atmosphere, especially for a restaurant in Harvard. I believe in second chances and understand that problems arise at any time at a restaurant. With that said however, something has to be said when it is constantly a bad experience. On several occasions my friends and I have had to return our food because it was cold, not the right order, or undercooked. Recently the level of customer service, or lack of, came into play. My order was wrong and the gentleman taking my call did not seem to care but still was nice enough to put the order through; clearly thought we were lying or wrong. When I went in he tried explaining what had happened and I also explained that, that was in fact not what we ordered. At that point the waitress who took the order interjected, pointing her fingering at me, and telling me that my coworker ordered it wrong. She flat out said that she assumed that we wanted one thing so she didn't ask. As someone who works in the food industry, you always ask. You also don't wave your finger and bob your head at a customer and be straight up rude. At this point I will say that on both ends our voices were raised all the while guests dined and the manager looked on without saying a word. The conversation ended with the waitress waving her fingers, storming into the bathroom, and saying she had work to do. This is just the type of service that anyone wants right? After that I walked out and nothing further was said by their staff; no apologizes, no nothing. I defiantly will not be telling my friends, family, or anyone else to go there. Never again; worst dining experience and I was not even eating there. Oh, and this was putting it nicely.
