i like bw2. i like the chill-tastic atmosphere, the multitudes of tv and the chance to entertain yourself with trivia either with the machines in the booth or with a gadget from the booth when you walk in. i especially like this place for those nights when my boy wants to watch a sports event, but i don't want to stay home and couch. their corn dog nuggets are AMAZING! the seating - uncomfortable. if they updated with cushy chairs and booths, people would probably never leave. note: previously, i would have given this place a 4 star rating, but they've changed their 'buffalo' sauce into a shake on nasty thing as opposed to a tangy sauce. oh - their dessert options are super limited. this blows. :(

My boyfriend and I come here almost every Thursday for boneless wings and beer. We always just walk straight to the bar-seating and there's always a table available. The servers in this section on Thursday evenings are GREAT!! Always friendly, quick, have feedback about sauce flavors, etc. Will be back for many more boneless Thursdays!

It's close to the house and has fast service. We received our wings and fries less than 5 minutes after we ordered them...good because we were hungry, but makes you wonder how they did that. Good option for quick bar food.

Standard BW3 wings, but great service. See Alex and Tim at the bar, you will be well taken care of. Great place.

It's like eating in a Best Buy. I'm well aware that this is a sports bar but honestly, even that is difficult to accomplish. Wait for the tables is generally long (last time we came was on a Sunday night...not prime time). Wait for service was even longer --- we sat for 20 minutes without drinks and even then, only got them when I flagged the waitress down (she'd passed our table no less than 4 times waiting on others and hadn't bothered to check on us). The noise was maddening --- not just TVs, but louder-than-warranted music, kids running free of their parents, and groups of preteens "out on the town." Really? If I want to watch sports at a bar, I'd like to be able to see, hear AND think. This place doesn't encourage that. Once our food finally arrived, it was okay...but not worth coming back for.

I use to love coming here when they had their legs for $0.50 each on Thursdays (I think). Somehow this location doesn't have nearly as many good deals. Pros: -Usually fast service once you are seated -Great to watch sports games -14 Sauces for wings to choose from- Sweet BBQ Teriyaki Mild Parmesan Garlic sauce Medium Honey BBQ Spicy Garlic Asian Zing Caribbean Jerk Hot BBQ Hot Mango Habanero Wild Blazin' Cons: - Overcrowded - Noisey - High school type of hangout (if your not into that) -If it's a game night, be prepared to wait for a seat

**THIS REVIEW IS ONLY ABOUT TIDINESS** wow. really disappointed with this BW3 location - especially for Elmhurst! first things first - I've been here NUMEROUS times. I get it. it's a huge place. hundreds frequent it on any given night. etc etc etc. but that doesn't mean you skimp out on keeping it clean. just upon entering, the doors/windows looked all jacked up + filthy. the entire entrance way leading up to the pick up counter and greeting area was pretty much littered with random napkins. it didn't really present a pleasant first impression for an eating establishment. three staff employees were standing at the check in. no one bothered to pick up napkins. we actually contemplated walking out and going elsewhere in that first 60 seconds. the seating area wasn't that much better. just looked like no one on staff had been by within a couple hours with a push-broom to pick up loose food under the tables, etc. The server took us to our booth and the table was noticeably dirty - smeared with fingerprints. plus, I had to wipe off the seating cushion on both sides of booth. the meal was fine. I enjoy their wings. again I understand that they can't do a deep cleaning after every patron. that's not realistic. I'm not normally on high alert for cleanliness either. it was just very noticeable that evening.

BWW is a good place to have wings, they're just not spectacular for me. Sorry, good wings, nothing special.

I live in Elmhurst and want to love this place but......... I think they pre-cook the wings and they are soggy. No consistency in the service members and it shows. How do you mess up wings?

I am the type of person who will eat everything on my plate. Maybe it had something to do with my Mom making me stay up until midnight at the dinner table until I ate everything... idk. But this was a first. I love love love wings and I just couldn't do it. First, when I ordered I didn't say boneless, yet I got boneless. I didn't realize it until I had been grazing for a bit and was just all Awww... What the hell?! F*ck it, and kept eating. When we decided to go here I was a bit worried about what to order. I mean you don't get quesadillas at a sports bar. So I thought I was playing it safe by going with the wings. Their name has "wings" in it, so I can't go wrong. Worst wings I've ever had hands down. The sauce was barely even on them, and the Parmesan Sauce looked like it came out of a bottle of Kraft Italian Dressing. They reminded me of frozen Tyson chicken nuggets yet they were dry and mostly breading. Even their blue cheese was generic and sucked. I thought it was weird how the wait staff kept handing me my drinks and food over the railing instead of walking around to the front of the table. They just seemed overall not invested, but then again it's a wing bar so I don't blame them too much, but then again it's your job man... own it!!

Probably one of the better bdubbs I have been to in recent memory. I actually enjoy that the food takes a bit to come out after you place your order. Hopefully means you are actually getting freshly cooked food.

A note to the other reviewers: If you are surprised that it's busy on the random night you show up then you check the sports section before heading over. People come here to watch Chicago sports teams and the crowds reflect that. Plenty of tvs, plenty of sports fans. If you are looking go something else, walk north down York to any other bar.

This is a high school hangout. So if you're annoyed by that, don't go. Everything was mediocre, but what do you expect? It's a chain. The service was slow and didn't understand why because our waitress who had our section had 2 tables! I think she must have been new, at least I hope that's the reason. We just wanted a quick bite before going to the YORK theater across the street but I think next time I'll visit Fresco's or any of the other restaurants in that area..

I thought the BW3 in Lima, Ohio, was bad. Elmhurst's is downright criminal. The place was packed, and I don't know why. The space is cramped, which is something I can deal with in a mom-and-pop, ancient Chicago institution. But if I'm dealing with suburbanites at a chain restaurant, there had better be plenty of space of cheap eats. Our server forgot to bring ranch dip after three different people at the table asked for it. When I asked for ranch again, after the food was served, he told me I could order it from the carryout counter. So I left the table, fought through the crowd and walked up to the counter. I ordered six sides of ranch and four sides of celery sticks. They charged me $5 and gave me a pager! After I returned to the table, we had to debate whether to start on our wings or wait for the ranch. Halfway through our meal, the pager flashed, and we were treated to our ranch dip, brought out on a tray as if it were the main course. Ridiculous. Oh, and the server forgot to bring us the four Playmaker game controllers we requested. Ironic, because the whole reason we met up is we were craving wings and trivia.

    1) 1st time @ Buffalo Wild Wings; was there Friday, 11/6/09 after work to celebrate someone's promotion. 2) My martini (greenish colored caribbean..) x 2 was good, though the 2nd one did not have sugar around the rim. 3) I ordered a cheeseburger with waffle type fries. The bun that the burger came on was TOO THICK. 4) FAST FORWARD, I FOUND HAIR ON THE FRIES. I asked for another order of fries to go as I had completely lost my appetite. 5) Half of the burger and the replacement fries went in the garbage today, 11/8. 6) I WON'T BE BACK.

i do like BW3's. ya ya i know, there are better wings at various places but none of them are near me or my travels. BW3 is my only REAL option. of the 3 BW3's i frequent this one is pretty good. i usually go straight to the bar for take out. why the bar? so i can drink a beer while i'm waiting for my to-go order..duh! BTW this is the only place i've been to that has GOOD draft beer. i have only ordered the boneless once because they were on special and never again. they just don't taste the same as traditional. my advice................nut up and get the bones in! they are way better evertime i have gone off the beaten path and tried not so traditional wing sauces i have been dissappointed (parmesean/garlic comes to mind). BW3's is no different here except for the Asian zing and spicy garlic. I'm a big Blazin sauce fan as it has the right heat and excellent flavor. The service at this particular BW3's was good, fast and friendly. Melissa was very prompt and attentive. can't go 5 stars here as it wasn't very busy but i'm willing to bet she would do just fine

My meal was almost uneatable. I like boneless wings, so when I found out there was a deal for them at BWW on Thursdays, I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did.. I now know never to again. I got a 8 piece boneless Teryaki. The wings were small - almost along the lines of glorified popcorn chicken. The meat seemed rubbery and store bought. Honestly, I bet you can find better chicken in the frozen section at a groccery story. The Teryaki sauce was horrible. I've had better at KFC and WAAAAY better at Wing Stop. The blue cheese was bad as well. Either blue cheese is incredible and can be put on anything or it's the complete opposite. It was the complete opposite. The fries were similair to cafeteria style - small, thin and mostly hard. So.. I'm quite the complainer today, aren't I? But seriously, this was one of those meals where you can't wait to get back on Yelp and let the world know, "Don't Eat What I Just Ate." Like I said in the beginning, my meal was almost uneatable.

UGH!!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and do not eat here. We did last Friday and wound up underwhelmed and disgusted. Our children had the kids chicken fingers and a kids cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was half burnt, which is oh so pleasing to a toddler's palate. And the chicken was soooooo dried out that I don't think my son ate a single bite. Both of their meals looked gross. My husband had the honey BBQ bacon chicken sandwich, which he said was blah. The fries were little overcooked, dried out matchsticks. I ate one and left the rest. I ordered the Big Jack Daddy Burger, which from the description on the menu sounds wonderful. WHat I ended up with was an overcooked burger topped by the driest pulled pork I have ever encountered. It could have qualified as pork jerky, actually, it was that dried out. I feel sorry for myself for having wasted as much money as I did on this pathetic excuse for a restaurant. Next time I'll listen to my instincts and eat at a locally owned restaurant instead of a chain nightmare. OH! I just remembered---the service! Well, the waitress asked us for our drink order, and I asked her if we could put in our food order because we were ready, and she was ballsy enough to say in this really snotty voice with a look on her face like she just stepped in poo, "Ummm, just let me get your drinks first, ok?" Like I was stupid for asking. No one ever minds taking the whole order at once all the other places I eat! That's just one less time they have to schlepp back to my table! Ugh!!!!!

The service is hit or miss -- they seem to have many young, inexperienced servers who are just getting the hang of the job, but if you're willing to cut them some slack it's always a great experience. I love their sauces across the board, the burgers are outstanding and the new cheeseburger bites are super duper tasty (dip them in ketchup & mustard instead of the BBQ sauce they come with). Watch out for sneaky upsells, though. The fries/potato wedges are extra (and pricey), so be aware when they ask "do you want fries?" Bleu cheese and celery are also extra. Weekdays they have great deals -- 25-cent wings, 50-cent chicken strips or chicken legs -- so be sure to ask about specials. This place is definitely a favorite.

  • Terri S.

You can avoid having to be waited on by simply ordering at the counter yourself. They give you a buzzer and it beeps when the server is coming out with your food. The wings are incredible (although a bit overpriced. Go on Tuesdays for $.40 wing night or Thursdays for $.50 boneless night). This particular location is a bit small, but it's not too bad. The people there are friendly and it's always a good time. The best sauce is spicy garlic (mmmm).

this is a pretty nice B-Dubs, if a little bland. The restaurant area is mostly families but the restaurant and bar areas are not segregated from each other, so the effect is more seamless (i.e. i am mostly a bar person given the choice, but here i would gladly sit in the "kiddie" section.) TVs abound. If you have been to BWW you know the food is tasty. on my visit here we had the nachos and boneless garlic wings. Good! Also, LARGE draft specials (on this particular day was Labatt's for $3.50 - it had to have been a 24-ouncer.)

  • Renato P.

I love their wings , which is a good thing for a place with wings in it's name. They have a great sports bar decor , TVs all over ,some video games and this quiz game people can play over a network. There are a large variety of foods on the menu , from Burgers (my kid liked the burgers) to Quesodillas (my mom really dug these) . I stuck with the Wings and the buffalo chips (fried rounds of potato's, that you can order with cheese sauce and chili). There are over a dozen different sauces that you can get , I liked the honey BBQ , the jerk sauce, and the terriyaki. This is a really fun place, the food is good , if you drink , they have a big beer selection, the price is right ,and the servers have always been alright.

Sometimes you're in the suburbs and you find yourself with a hankerin' for some buffalo wings.... so you stumble upon a Buffalo Wild Wings and you go in. Two of us did such a thing on a lovely Sunday afternoon about a month ago, and it was just ok. The server was, I'm guessing, completely new to the art of food service so she was slow, she asked us to repeat our orders, then when she was putting them in to the computer, had to stop, come back over and ask us what we wanted again. My Bloody Mary took 15 minutes, the side salad I ordered had been sitting somewhere warm for a while and was limp (they took it off the bill) and she brought us the larger order of wings than what we ordered (and charged us). Not impressed. The food was good, but nothing I wake up thinking about. I like the boneless wings better than the regular ones, with medium sauce and blue cheese. Simple, hard to screw up - you'd hope.

I've said it before and I will say it again. The boneless wings here are fantastic simply because spicy garlic is the greatest thing that has ever happened to wings. Ever. The wedges are pretty awesome too. However, BWW gets some points deducted for several reasons: 1) This particular location has TERRIBLE parking and typically terrible service (unless you get lucky with the parking and get the dude at the bar, it's probably not going to be worth the hassle). 2) It is somehow always crawling with teenagers that just loiter around the place and take up space. (Yes, I used the words loiter and teenagers in the same sentence. No, I'm not 65.) 3) Beer selection is "meh". I can usually find a beer I like, but there's not a good craft beer selection and unfortunately for them, I am a craft beer snob. Also, somewhat related, DO NOT try the Goose Island Green Line IPA. Super low on the hops and super high on the sweetness. Pretty much the opposite of what I'd like to see in an IPA.

Appetizer of Cheese and wedges with Mango Habanero flavored wings!!!! My favorite!!! You guys gotta try it. The service is awesome, and all the employees are helpful and kind. My all time favorite hangout spot on Saturday nights and game nights!!! Great for a casual family hangout too. On my top 10 favorites list!!

I can't say I'm a huge fan of BWW, the place is very loud and I think it's a bit expensive for the quality of the food you receive. However, what BWW has (that you cannot find anyplace else in Elmhurst) is the hottest freakin' sauces. I'm a huge fan of spicy food and I was pleasantly surprised when they offered a new ghost pepper hot sauce. And, unlike some of their sauces, this one actually tastes good. I'm leaving myself a reminder here to take it easy. I almost over did it this time ... fortunately the endorphins kicked in big time! As of this writing there are ninety-six restaurants in Elmhurst. I plan on eating at, and reviewing, every one. Follow me on Yelp!

I wish they somehow managed to build an outdoor patio. It would be sweet with the view of downtown elmhurst. Parking is a block away in the parking garage. When we went there on our last trip, John took good care of us and was very consistent with refills and checking upon us. Usually go with sweet barbecue for my wings. Wing size is very inconsistent. Flavor can be good to below average. Sometimes they either to saucy too crispy or too raw somehow. We saw Hawks play and yet it seemed pretty slow. Too many teenagers not necessarily crowd for middle age groupies. Saw some tables not bussed for significant period of time. Kind of a an appetite killer sitting next to table full of leftover glassware and silverware. Overall average, chain stuff. Once in a while type of outing.

Very loud but good food and service. Met the love of my life at this location during a Hawks game back in 2009 - obviously I'm a bit bias. :)

I have been coming here for over a decade. It's a b dubs. Nothing special. Food comes out hot and beer comes out cold. I always sit in the bar so can't comment on the dining room but Tim and Ryan always take really good care of us. Most wing places I go I order the hottest one and it's barely hot! bdubs wings will challenge you. Really nice heat and they have been bringing out new sauces. Great place.

I want my baby back baby back baby back...WIIIIINGS. I love B-dubs like a child (if I had any children). I've only ever done carry-out at this location, but every time has been a pleasant one. Usually I place a phone order of 20-25 boneless, my food's ready quickly, and pickup is a cinch. When I explained the madness of ordering from their Berwyn location (see 1-star review), the friendly girl at the pickup counter apologized for the uber-retardedness of their sister store and encouraged me to return to their spot, where I should encounter "no such issue". I've never had a problem ordering from here, even if it's quite a bit out of my way..... My 25 boneless were sufficiently sauced, tasted great the next day and I even got a couple bonus ones thrown in by luck, as well as a random regular wing. The quality of chicken bits was pretty darn good, too. Not bad, Elmhurst B-dubs, not bad......

Great food. Quick take out even when you don't call ahead. We get takeout from here about once a month or so. Consistent with other bww.

  • Robyn C.

You can never go wrong with Buffalo Wild Wings. Their food is always consistent, sauces are really good, and their chicken is well done. Where things can go wrong is service, and in this case, parking. Downtown Elmhurst doesn't have that much street parking available, so if you have to pick up an order, pray that you find a spot, or go with someone who can stand park. This wouldn't matter in the summer of course, but when it's snowing like crazy outside, the last thing you want to do is walk to and from the community parking lot. Also, service ... BAD!! My sister in law phoned in an order and I called in about an hour later to add to the order since I was the one picking it up. They didn't even have the name that the order was under. I confirmed with my SIL that I was calling the correct one, so she had to call them as well... and they finally found it. Great!! So my pick up time was 5:30. I left the restaurant food in hand at 5:50!! WT!! I was pissed. There was one table of about 6 people (it was new years eve). It's not like the order was huge, 40 wings and one kids meal and a side of mac n cheese. I would rather go to the one in willowbrook or lombard. sorry!!

The service at this location is deplorable, horrible and shameful! Every single time I come here something goes wrong.. either the order is wrong, missing an item, the waiter/waitress is never to be seen or they mess up the bill. The have you sitting around for 20-30 minutes before even getting you drinks. Or they "accidentally" over charge you, or they just don't care at all. Horrible staff and I blame the management. Multiple times I've had to speak with the manager and they comp my meals but seriously how much MONEY are they willing to LOSE??? Like today, I came back to use a $10 gift card voucher I was given because at the last visit my waitress left with my debit card. They had me waiting 15 minutes until I went and asked for it back.. So she gave me a gift card voucher. Anyways, I presented the voucher with my debit card and to NO SURPRISE they charge my card the full amount.. I went up to the waiter and politely asked him why he had charged my card the full amount and had not discounted the $10? So what was his excuse?? "oh, uh, I lost your vouchers.." ..I am thinking: Honestly dude that's your problem. So he talked to the manager and I was credited back the amount and correctly charged.. He then had the audacity to tell me that he did me the favor and gave me the discount even though he had lost the vouchers.. Like that was my fault.. While this isn't my first run in with their bad service at the Elmhurst location, it will be my last. I will also take this a step further and write a formal complaint to their manager, HQ and anyone else I have to. Because this is unacceptable. Oh and the food is at times ok... P.S. not all Bdubs locations are bad. Just this one. Sincerely yours, GRRB

I had my first bad experience at a Bdubs since College at Ball State. They are usually great but the service here was pretty bad. Nobody was in here and my takeout 8 piece wings took 25 minutes. It usually takes 8-10. The wings were ok and undercooked a little. I like em crispy. I ordered desert heat with a side of hot. Just asi asi this time. The place was clean and a lot of tv filled the walls. A great place to watch a football game. I'll come back and give them another shot during NFL season.

Been here a few times and have only sat in the bar area. Beer is cold and the food comes out quick, hot, and delicious. My only suggestion is for the staff not to gather and hang out in a large group... this has happened every time I've been there and hinders service a bit. Overall, great location.

This location of BWW in Elmhurst finally remodeled. The bar area is more comfortable and spacious. A 5 star for the atmosphere, I love watching the sports games here. As for the food...my chicken wings (boneless and traditional) are skimped on the sauces EVERY time. And they charge extra $$ for extra sauce...even though they see my wings are covered below standards in sauce.

We had one of the best waitresses here. She was clearly new and a little clumsy with the trays. She spilled a cup of ranch on the floor and spilled our trash back onto the table when she tried to pile it up for removal, but she gave us everything we wanted. The four of us were STARVING and had wide eyes and empty bellies. We all ordered drinks and beers, which she refilled over and over for the next three hours. And when we asked to get a sample of ALL of the sauces, she didn't blink. Our table was a smorgasbord of all their sauces in little tasting cups. In no time our science experiment was cleared off and our nachos and chili cheese fries were served. Right as we finished them, the wings showed up - all 48 of them with various sauces, dipping cups and celery sticks.

This is one of the cleaner Bdubs I have been too. It's a franchise so it's going to have different specials then the company owned ones. The boneless wings here are on specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays unlike the company owned ones which have boneless wings on special only on Thirsdays. Good location right off I 290 somewhat. Also different beer specials then company owned ones.

So I'm normally not the type of person to write a bad review but I've had several bad experiences with this restaurant in particular. On my most recent view, I was seated right away but had to wait around 20 minutes for a server to even acknowledge my presence& still walked right past me. Granted it was Sunday night football, the staff should have been prepared to be busy. There seemed to only be a couple servers, definitely not enough for the night though. After still not being served, my husband & I walked out. No one seemed to try to get us to stay let alone notice they lost customers. The food here never disappoints , but as for the customer service.. it definitely needs to be fixed or they will end up losing customers

*Comparable to cafeteria food!* I was super disappointed in Buffalo Wild Wings. I've heard so many friends rave about it; my boyfriend included. I finally agreed to go with him to satisfy his craving for wings. (sports and bars as well as sports bars are not my thing.) We went on a Friday night, and waited around 45 minutes to be seated. It was a bit long, but considering how popular it is, and the Olympics were on.. I was ok with it. I assumed the food is probably pretty delicious! Wrong! The service was fine. The noise level was unbearable. I was sitting next to my boyfriend and couldn't even hear him talk. I thought this was supposed to be a "watch the game with your buddies" kinda place, but how could it be that enjoyable when you can't even hear your friends talk? But the worst was the food. We started with chips and salsa. The chips were soooo salty that I couldn't eat them. The salsa was room temperature and tasted like it came from the jar. I don't like wings, so I ordered a burger. The burger and fries both were obviously frozen; not fresh at all. The bun was limp, not even toasted. It tasted like food from a baseball game or the concession stand at the zoo; which I expect from those types of places... not a RESTAURANT. Last time I checked the point of a restaurant is to have good food. I tasted my boyfriend's wings.. again, I don't care for wings, but the sauce literally tasted like vomit. It was such a waste of money! I think it was about $50 for 2 meals less than Burger King quality... and that's pretty bad. The icing on the cake: everything was served in plastic cups and on paper plates. They're obviously making a huge profit here. This place doesn't live up to the hype! If I ever return again with a group of friends (not my choice obviously) I'll stick with a drink and skip the food. Absolutely terrible!

Friendly staff, loud place. Food and drink specials are fine. I enjoyed my chicken wings Mild and Teriyaki. Best basket wedge fries with melted cheese is the best! I also like the onion rings (beered battered) and their mini hot dogs for apps. I'd go back especially if I want to watch my favorite Chicago teams playing!

A-OK for a BW3. Look, this is not one of those specialty wing shops; it's a chain that for all intents and purposes, looks the same and feels the same no matter where you go. This one just happens to be in Elmhurst... Location: 4 out of 5 Conveniently right on the main little boulevard there with plenty of 3 hour parking nearby. They share a complex with a few other restaurants like Meatheads and Chipotle. Service: 3.5 out of 5 The same friendly and efficient service that I get at every other single BW3 in the burbs (the city ones are generally not so good when it comes to service). The young lady helping us gave us enough time to look over the menu and was quick to refill our drinks. She didn't suffocate us, but didn't leave us hanging, either. Decor: 3 out of 5 Gasp - it looks the same as any other BW3. Arcade games (with that stacker game) for the chilluns, lots of TVs for the adults to watch sporting events. A large dining room with a split bar area in the back. Oh my goodness. Deja. deja. deja. vu. Food: 4 out of 5 I actually thought that the wings here were better than the ones I've gotten in Tinley and Skokie on account of the fact that they weren't overcooked. Plus, the lemon pepper dry seasoning was a nice change of pace for me. The jalapeno poppers are the same, the pita chips are the same, the pretzels are the same. Lemme tell ya - if you like all those things everywhere else, you'll probably like them here too. Beer: 4 out of 5 Decent draft list for being so corporate minded, ranging from your American macros (Bud, Miller) to American micro to imports. Price: 4 out of 5 Decent pricing here, and you pay less tax than the city. You come out a little ahead until you factor in the gas (unless you were already in the burbs, like I was). Overall: 4 out of 5 Look, I wouldn't drive out from Chicago just to go to this location, but if I happen to be in the area again and was in the mood for something safe and predictable, this would probably be at the top of my list.

I love wings and this place is the worst for a wing restaurant. Their sauces are OK....but they usually put too much and it is just in gobs in the cardboard and doesn't always cover the wings. They are way too expensive. I don't know why anyone would consider this good food. I understand the bar atmosphere and that is fine. The help there is ok.

I love the food here. Service is always a little slow. So far 5 min to get my drinks. What's up with that? And I always get the ugly girls as my waitress.

Amazing!! I love BWW and could eat there every day. It is a lot of fun when there is a sporting event too. I go there a lot and will continue to go.

The food is delicious and obviously my favorite place for food and hockey but the service sucks. My waitress didn't give me the time of day, it took 15 minutes to get a refill on my drink and it took me getting another waitresses attention. She took care of all her tables filled with males but me and my friend spent a half hour waiting for the check to come. The point is that yes they have good food but better luck at another wing place with better service.

I have been coming here since I can remember. Even though I love Buffalo Wild Wings, the service at this one is a hit and miss. I don't know why, I'm not even going to try to explain it and we'll just leave it at what it is when it is. You've been warned though. The food is always the same, good. Once in a while I order 8 blazing boneless wings cause I'm such a renegade. HA! The last time though, wow, they DOUSED those babies in the sauce and I could only eat four. I must say that they have never skimped me on the sauces. A huge problem that this BWW has is the parking. If you don't find one on the street you'll have to go all the way by Walgreens or to the garage. So if you're going to catch some kind of sporting event, make sure you arrive early.

Buffalo Wild wings is Buffalo Wild wings, you know what you are getting when you go there...average food and corporate setting with sports, trivia, and more sports. This particular one has a magnificent bar staff though. The bar area is friendly and full of hard working, personable folks. Sitting in the dining are is a bit of a crap shoot with the young servers but I really like this BW's and go there often!

Seems to get a bad rap, but it never disappoints. I get the impression it might be due to the fact that it;s a chain? Dunno. In any case, both my wife and I like the traditional wings, and even though I think we've tried just about every sauce, Spicy Garlic is our favorite. Nice heat level, and great flavor. Give it a chance!

    (3)
  • Acuragirl86 C.

This is the usual spot for wings and wedges. The food is always on point. I usually get the 10 traditional wings half spicy garlic and half hot. The waitresses are usually friendly. The atmosphere is sporty love it definitely recommend it!

Great place to watch a game but I just don't think their food is good. Boneless chicken I will never have again unless I want to eat mostly breading. There's better places to get wings.

I was always dubious about coming here because I've been to the movie theater across the street on Friday and Saturday nights, and seen the clutter and chaos that occurs. As much as I enjoy wings and large televisions, my discontent for large groups of people in their early 20's exceeds the positives. But I figure, it's Wednesday night. Why not give it a shot? Even on this uneventful weekday night, the only reason we were sat immediately is because we chose to sit at the bar area. Thankfully we didn't have any kids with us. Not because we didn't have to wait, but because I hate kids. The service was okay. The guy who took our order didn't write our order down, which always makes me wary. But luckily for him, he didn't screw anything up. We ordered two different flavor of wings. The hot BBQ and the Asian Zing (I think it's called). The Asian one wasn't just okay. Probably won't order that one again though. However I did like the Hot BBQ. Though I will probably choose an even hotter one next time. Because I'm a real man. We also ordered the cheese wedges that comes with a zesty cheese sauce. Not bad at all. Probably the only advantage that Hooters has over BWW is that Hooters wings are bigger and have more meat on them (no that ISN'T a boob reference). But the variety and flavor you get at BWW works to their advantage. I wish this place wasn't such a cluster-fuck. Otherwise I'd come here more often. But it kinda exemplifies why I generally avoid Elmhurst.

This place was just ok for me. Nothing was wrong with it, but there are just too many sports bars out there that I like better. Let's start with the good. We had a sampling of a few different appetizers. They were all pretty good. I really liked the mozzarella sticks. The wings are good. They also have a number of sauces for their wings. I like a lot of them, especially Caribbean jerk, teriyaki, and spicy garlic. What they lose major points for is the chicken on the salad and in the quesadilla. You can definitely tell it is not fresh. It is pretty rubbery and gross. They also lose points for their beer list. There are so many bars out there with extensive beer lists, BWW is not one of them. It's just ok. You can get more than just miller and bud, but if you're into craft beer this is not the place for you. Overall not bad, but too many other bars I would rather go.

So Buffalo Wild Wings-- I love the food, and the different flavor of wings BUT I never have good service, especially the one in elmhurst. I just feel like they don't care about their customers. I have been a server I know what to look for, I am not a picky customer, I expect friendly service and I watch to see how busy they are for prompt service. We sat at the table with the credit card in the check book for about 15 minutes. Now this is after we had been at the restaurant for almost an hour and 15 because getting the check took a long time. The waitress dropped the check off and disappeared, I looked around and didn't see her anywhere. I forgot to mention that when she dropped the check of she was talking (I believe saying "whenever your ready")with her head turned away already leaving the table not giving me a chance at that time to put my credit card out. Now this service is not out of the norm of his bww-- I prefer to sit at the bar for better service but since I was with my 9 year old nephew that's never a good idea. Also while we were eating there was a server performing their side work of vaccuuming- she ran the little electric vacuum next to and under our table. Talk about rude and annoying. I guess shame on me for going back to that bww but I love the sauce and for the day it was conviently located across from the movie theater which we were headed to after a late lunch.

Friendly and efficient staff, Kevin took excellent care of us. Smallest and lamest $10 burger I've ever eaten. The rarest they will cook the meat is medium well...resultantly it had little flavor. Management must be wusses/someone has sued them in the past . Prob will never order another burger from here again. Fries were good. Parmesan garlic sauce on wings is ok but nothing to write home about, I'll definitely try something else next time. This has been my least favorite B3W food experience yet.

After a doctor's appointment, I really had a taste for bar food and beer. Not many places in downtown Elmhurst that offer that, so I stepped into Buffalo Wild Wings. I've been to various BWW over the years so I pretty much knew what to expect. I ended up ordering the Buffalo Ranch chicken sandwich. It was a little dry. I was surprised it only had a splash of wing sauce drizzled over the top of it. I barely could get the taste of the sauce when I bit into the sandwich. I asked for a little on the side, so all was good. Unfortunately, there weren't any good games to watch, but at least the place wasn't as packed as I've seen BWW get when certain games are on. I was able to get in and out quickly.

    (3)
  • Brian B.

I find BWW, in general, to be expensive for what it is so I only go in there on days when they have specials. The food is pretty good. But the last timeI went in there, the wings weren't even completely coated with sauce. Sometimes half of the wing was completely missing any sauce. If you're going to charge a premium price, make sure you deliver a premium product.

Seriously lacking any real sense of service. 20 minutes until the server showed up. The only drink refill I got was the one I finally went and filled myself at the soda fountain. I literally saw my server three times.. Once for the order, once when she heard I had filled my own soda, and once when she brought the check... Terrible!

The best chain sports restaurant in town. Pause. The only chain sports restaurant in town. Not to say its the only place to watch a game in Elmhurst, but lines will form outside of this place leading up to any major hometown sports game. Don't even think about getting in here when the Bears, Bulls, Cubs, White Sox, or Blackhawks are playing. In all seriousness, I love their wing sauce. It's the perfect medium (not too thick, not too thin). I will admit to purchasing bottles for home use. Their wings are the best (if not only game) in town.

  • Sonia B.

Lovelovelove their wings! Mango Habenero is where it's at, guys. There are a ton of screens and video games for the kids, which makes this place A-OK with mee. Some cons about this particular location is a weird phenomena in Elmhurst, where for some strange reason every high-schooler in town has the perpetual need to congregate right outside its doors every Friday night. They aren't doing anything, just standing and talking outside with their friends...for HOURS. I don't get it. It's really irritating. Other cons about this location is the service. My experiences have always been hit-or-miss, but I noticed all of my bad experiences were with the lady servers...(just an fyi). Other than that, I think it's a nice place to go if you want to grab some drinks with friends after class or work if you're in the area, but there are definitely better BW2's that I prefer!

First off... $1 off per person per ticket when you eat at BWW and go to the York theatre across the street. Just so happens I got my ticket before I went to eat, so we got $2 off instantly. Wings were on the $.49 special, so pretty much my wings only costed $.94 with the discount. My daughter had the kids Chicken strips, they were actually really good. I had a taste... a yelper cannot resist anything she can use in a review! Yum for my carribbean jerk wings... perfect with ranch and celery. I'm a sauce kinda girl, and that sauce is BOSS! Basket of wedges... making my mouth water right now!!! The waitress was really friendly and attentive. My daughter and I had a good time playing the touch screen games at the booth. It's a sportsy kinda place with good food and a fun ambiance. There were a lot of high schooly/ college students in there... who cares though?! It doesn't make or break the place guys, c'mon.

5) Half of the burger and the replacement fries went in the garbage today, 11/8. 6) I WON'T BE BACK.

i like bw2. i like the chill-tastic atmosphere, the multitudes of tv and the chance to entertain yourself with trivia either with the machines in the booth or with a gadget from the booth when you walk in. i especially like this place for those nights when my boy wants to watch a sports event, but i don't want to stay home and couch. their corn dog nuggets are AMAZING! the seating - uncomfortable. if they updated with cushy chairs and booths, people would probably never leave. note: previously, i would have given this place a 4 star rating, but they've changed their 'buffalo' sauce into a shake on nasty thing as opposed to a tangy sauce. oh - their dessert options are super limited. this blows.

    (2)
  • Andrew B.

  • Judith B.

This is a high school hangout. So if you're annoyed by that, don't go. Everything was mediocre, but what do you expect? It's a chain. The service was slow and didn't understand why because our waitress who had our section had 2 tables! I think she must have been new, at least I hope that's the reason. We just wanted a quick bite before going to the YORK theater across the street but I think next time I'll visit Fresco's or any of the other restaurants in that area..

i do like BW3's. ya ya i know, there are better wings at various places but none of them are near me or my travels.

This place is definitely a favorite.

this is a pretty nice B-Dubs, if a little bland.

Been here a few times and have only sat in the bar area. Beer is cold and the food comes out quick, hot, and delicious. My only suggestion is for the staff not to gather and hang out in a large group... this has happened every time I've been there and hinders service a bit. Overall, great location.

Busy Monday night. But John was a great server and was all over the place. Food is always exceptional...but come on..it's wings. :-)

Fast service, waitress was very nice. Could tell she was knew- had specials written down. Food was good. She could of stopped by to refill my beer a little sooner too. Went on a Friday night

Have been to a few BWW, and have had only 1 bad experience, this BWW did not disappoint. We were seated quickly and our order was placed and received in a timely matter. Server was great and was consistent with checking if we needed anything.

This is the usual spot for wings and wedges. The food is always on point. I usually get the 10 traditional wings half spicy garlic and half hot. The waitresses are usually friendly. The atmosphere is sporty love it definitely recommend it!

  • Kurt W.

  • Jen T.

Long wait, crammed seating, very loud and of course does not allow legal concealed carry. I think I will pass as there are many better options.

  • Nichole C.

  • Ericka A.
