It's crazy I have lived in this area my entire life and I just heard about Zenwich from my wife today. Needless to say we went for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. The spicy garlic shrimp sandwich was very fresh and tasted amazing. My wife got the Korean beef sandwich and it was equally as tasty. As I was eating I went over the entire menu and I cannot wait to go back and try some more. This is our new favorite sandwich shop.
The food was very flavorful and the service was great. I'll defiantly be a regular there!
Just arrived in Chicago from Los Angeles. Starving so I check yelp and decide to give it a try. This is what social media is about. Fantastic sandwich. I not a foodie and rarely post. Ordered the special, spicy chicken basil sandwich. This man is a genius. Go there. Bring the recognition this menu deserves!

Cold Stone Creamery

Reviews:
Okay, I was a little harsh on this place when I first reviewed it. I admit, it is dirty, but I think it's only because it is crazy busy all of the time! Literally, all of the time. All the young people who work there have good attitudes--at least the dudes--and we always get good service. The ice cream is always good, and the lemon raspberry smoothie is the bomb! Kapow! So I really can't complain too much about a little stickiness :)
We've been going to Cold Stone Creamery for years and adore it. The ice cream and ingredients are the freshest money can buy, and there's nothing better than coming up with creative and delicious combinations (such as our current favorite, which we call Banana PB Cream Pie and consists of sweet cream ice cream, banana, peanut butter, almond, marshmallow and brownies). So why only 3 stars? This location is always filled with loud, rude teenagers (of course, so is all of downtown Elmhurst), and the employees seem like they couldn't care less. The wait is long, the tables are sticky, and the place has just generally gone downhill. Also, like I said, we like to make our own combinations. Usually, if we get four ingredients, they charge us for a creation, and they charge us per topping after four. Now, they charge us something like $3.50 for ice cream with one topping, and then nearly $1 for each additional topping. The result is that our average custom creation now costs about $2-$3 more than it used to. $8 is WAY too much for a cup of ice cream, no matter how good that ice cream is. If they go back to charging us how they used to, which made sense, there's no doubt about it... even with the slow service and poor upkeep, I'd still give it 5 stars. But I can't justify how much we're being charged now.
i love the germanchökolätekäke®, best ice cream ever created........... a bit pricey but its worth every cent for every bite...... Cold Stone Creamery in Elmhurst is very clean and bright and welcoming area, they even have a nice hd or lcd tv there and private freezer for ice cream cakes and even packaged store ice-cream too, also lot of options to get there and lot of candy and cup or different waffle cone add on assortments and make your own custom ice-cream combinations... ITS REALLY GREAT....

Potbelly Sandwich Shop

544 W St Charles Rd
Elmhurst, 60126
Reviews:
All I say is that I'm definitely a fan of the new flatbread. Had the turkey swiss flatbread at lunch and really enjoyed it. This Potbelly has some outside seating and the weather was perfect. As an added bonus, the guitar guy was stuck inside and we could barely hear him through the windows. Not that he was bad, actually he was a good player and singer, but the problem at Potbelly is the acoustics. It's virtually impossible to hold a conversation, even without a live musician. As of this writing there are ninety-six restaurants in Elmhurst. I plan on eating at, and reviewing, every one. Follow me on Yelp!
Sandwiches were very good, with choice of white or whole grain bread. I thought the amount of meat was somewhat meager, but I did notice that the sandwich maker was weighing the meat extremely accurately. Shakes and smoothies were above average. What impressed me about this store, hence four stars, was the service. We were greeted by an employee emptying the garbage, then continuously kept apprised of the timing by the order taker and sandwich maker, and finally, after we were done eating, an employee came to the table to ask about our meal experience. This was outstanding service for a fast food type sandwich shop. Keep up the good work.

I love the Gyros here. I usually get the Gyros dinner, which comes with a Greek Salad, runs about 9 bucks. Its more food than i can eat in one sitting, i usually have the salad and some fries and some gyros for lunch and have enough to make another sandwich for dinner. The Greek salad is a real Greek salad, its a nice touch that they use whole Kalamata olives in it, instead of some process pitted black canned olives. Dressing for the salad is delicious, to the point i end up eating it with a spoon (i look around to make sure no one is looking first). I plan to make my way though the rest of the menu at some point, but after 3 years every time i walk in this place i can only think of one thing, Must Eat Gyro! Maybe in a couple more years i will be able to move on to another dish.
Gyro dinner comes with double meat and is impossible to eat by one person. More than enough to split with another person. Crisp fries and a good Greek salad.
I've been here once, and ordered carry out. I can vouch for the broasted chicken , and the broasted potato's which were both really good. The rice was decent , the order took a while to cook but it was worth the wait.

We'd never been here before so we decided to use a Plan-it discount as the incentive to give this place a try. The food was good; not great. Went downhill when we tried to use the discount. Although we bought the coupon at the end of January the owner said he doesn't honor these anymore because they weren't effective. So we were out the $10 cost of the coupon and the owner said he wasn't responsible. Not great new customer service which convinced us that regardless that we liked the place fine, we don't plan to return.
LOVE this place! Everything I have ever ordered here tastes great! I love that they know who I am, and take such great care of my kids when I send them in, too! Have had egg salad, potato salad, roast beef, cheese, tuna salad, turkey -- all is fresh and tasty! Outside tables are nice, and near the Prairie Path, so great for a stop along the way!
great food wonderful staff, best omelets in town

Solid 4 star sushi spot based mostly on excellent cuts of fish. Can't go wrong with sushi/sashimi dinner, sashimi appetizer, dragon rolls; They use a shake of white and black sesame seeds on their sushi pieces which works well. Only downside is its a tiny restaurant, if you're dining in..
Fresh sushi and friendly service! Definitely worth a 2nd chance. I really just wanted a plain sweet potato tempura maki roll without all the fancy stuff and they were happy to accommodate the special order. 4 hungry customers had Sapporo, wine, an avocado maki roll, a sakana roll, fire dragon roll and a few others and left as 4 happy customers. Everything was delicious and fresh!
Best Sushi in Elmhurst! Great fusion menu with a large selection of rolls, sashimi, appetizers, and teriyaki. I had a fire dragon rolls (which was outstanding), yellow tail and scallop sashimi. The place is small but the food is big and brings high quality sushi to Elmhurst.

Not really feeling the love for this place right now. We have wanted to try this place for quite some time now because of all the positive reviews on Yelp. First off we ordered for pickup. The lady said 45 minutes. We live with in 5 minutes of the place, by the time we got it home it was just slightly above room temperature. Grossly overestimated the time the pizza would be ready...don't they have a warming oven where the pizza's are kept warm? I've driven home with pizza 5 miles away and they were warmer than this one was. As for the pizza we ordered the County Inn Special. Bland, bland, bland. Nothing remarkable, or even outstanding. For that kind of money we should have gone to Pete's Fresh Market and gotten one of their take and bake supreme pizzas, which is a heck of a lot better than this one was. Needless to say we may try this place again....but not in the near future.
This is a tiny, local joint with great service and good pizza. My girls and I ordered two thin crust pizzas: a sausage, mushroom, and onion pizza and a mushroom, spinach, and onion pizza. Both pizzas had generous toppings and the crust was nicely crunchy without being burnt. When we stopped in to pick up the pizzas, the owner was super friendly and when we were chatting he treated us as if we were long time friends. Give County Inn Pizza a try on a day when you just don't feel like cooking dinner!
It was ok.. I'm glad they were delivering in this terrible weather but I'm not sure Ill go back soon. Pepperoni had a different taste and i preferred the sausage. The hot wing sauce was very good but some wings were soggy. The price was pretty comparable to other pizza places.
