This place is pretty tasty, but the service is just tremendously slow. I've been here twice and both times had to wait upwards of 15 minutes for a take away order. The people who work here are very friendly though!

Me and my dad went here today. Dad got two chicago style dogs with peppers and onion only, and I got the italian beef plain. I went during the 12pm-1pm hour, and it was busy inside kind of with sit down orders, but not to-go orders. I was standing there waiting for about 10-15 minutes or so just for my food to come out, and they didn't say sorry or anything of the sort. Oh, and when I tried my food it was not very hot at all, it was cold. Same as with my fathers food too. We both give it 3/5 stars for this reason alone. We may go back and I'll update this review upon a better experience.

Great drunk food! They are open late (like 3am I think?) on the weekend, so if you are out at the Bloomington bars, this is a great stop after. Excellent, local, and well-priced, and the guys working the two times I have been in have been really nice. Also a great stop for a stone cold sober lunch or super casual dinner. Excellent chicken gyro, decent burgers, and good fries.

Terrible customer service. The woman on the phone was rude, unattentive, and hard to communicate with. The driver was slow and very rude. I will never eat from here again. I recommend always going to big daddy dogs the food is better and the customer service is outstanding when compared to wcw.

It doesn't pretend to be anything, and it meets that expectation. Fried foods of every variety, served with weiners in a Chicago style (neon relish, the works), in a ten-seat dump amongst the bars and greasy spoons of "Campustown".

Horrible, horrible, horrible.The cheese sticks didn't have any cheese in them. And the hotdogs were like eating a piece of rubber. But the Mug Root beer and gas station cookie were good.

It's now my Saturday tradition to come here and get the two chili cheese dogs special. Some seriously good hot dogs for Blo-No. I get their lemonade, too, which seems to be hand squeezed and tastes great. I also like their Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Just a note, the food quality is the same at both locations, but the staff is way cooler and the restaurant is nicer in Bloomington. Downtown FTW!

If you want to see good reviews on this place, check the Normal location. The only difference with this one is something I can appreciate: lots more seating! I always wanted to take more friends to the Normal location, but it's a pretty small interior. This one definitely remedies that. (Plus, it's closer to my house, but that's a little subjective, I know. )

Normal location was "too busy" to deliver, called Bloomington requesting a deliver but they wouldn't drive the extra 2 minutes. Disappointed.

I ordered two sandwiches and hour and half ago, was told it would be 55 minutes. One hour later it had not arrived, I called the store and he said ten more minutes. 15 go by I call again and it's on the way. 15 more and it's still not here. I call again and he says it's on the way. I call again and cancel the order, at no time did I get an apology. Huge fail Windy. Super disappointed. And it was an italian beef and gyro, it's not like it had to be cooked, just assembled. And Snowpacalypse had not even started yet. If the guy on the phone just would've been apologetic and honest I would've been fine with it and waited. But that was not the case. Never ordering from you again.

I've had the hotdogs and brats, and both were satisfying in taste and were filling. A little expensive for what you order; the meal isn't worth it (small cups and small fries), but this place is worth going to, and is especially good hangover food. Update - Avoid their delivery service at all cost. I have made the mistake of ordering delivery three times (so I guess it's my fault for not learning my lesson) and the drivers and delivery time progressively got worse and worse. One time the driver claimed that she was on my street, but my house was not there...

Never order from here!! This is my fourth time ordering from Windy City Wieners with multiple mistakes on my delivery order. Each time I call to notify them of the mistake- not only do I not receive compensation for their negligence, their response is rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak to a manager, but he was too busy. I believe that these standards are not acceptable for this town, and more importantly from a company who identifies themselves with representation of the great city of Chicago. Don't even get me started on the food.

Niot gourmet but good Chicago style place. Good specials, hours listed here in yelp may be off was open Sunday about a month ago but wasn't before not sure if there was an event they opened for or if they have new hours. Nothing lasts in this place, hope this is the game changer better management so more hopeful it will make it.

They're ok for what they are but if you get delivery prepare for messy semi cold food you could have got cheaper if you just went to the grocery store for junk food.

Great customer service, even during late night! Delicious fresh made food. Cheeseburger had a nice charbroiled flavor and Italian beef was tasty, and even better, wrapped with care for our to go. Loaded cheese fries came with real bacon and the works. Will definitely be returning!

Only reason I gave 1 star is because I can't give zero. An hour after I ordered I still hadn't received my food. So I called and was told they got swamped and my delivery was next to go out the door and it would be there in another 20 minutes. 45 minutes later it still hadn't arrived. I called again and was told the driver had already left and had a few stops before mine and it'd be another 15-20 minutes. Food finally got here. The order was correct and the food was mediocre, definitely not worth a 2 hr wait. Especially since I live 6 blocks from there. Hindsight I could have walked there and back 5 times in the time it took them to deliver it.

First time there, Delicious all the way around. Nice little hometown shop feel. Great food. Gyro's and chili cheese dogs are spot on. Will definitely go back!!!!

I had a great jumbo chili cheese dog today at Windy City Weiners. I wasn't expecting much because I hadn't found dogs that compared to the now-defunct Boo Boo's Dawghouse. This dog came close and I ended up ordering a second. The location was clean and the employees were extremely friendly and cared about the quality of the food. I now have a place to come for a good dog.

I review the health dept reviews and the Normal location has not gotten the best reviews. Although I live 5 mins away and enjoy delivery I refused to go to Normal location of the HD reviews. I drove to Bloomington and was pleasantly surprised. I walked in and was greeted with more than one friendly "hello" The restaurant is clean and has such a pleasant atmosphere. I was really impressed with the excellent/friendly customer service and the food was great !! I'm big on customer service and they do a great job of providing excellent customer service. Give them a try... you won't be disappointed. I don't think I will be visiting the Normal location anytime soon. Hopefully the HD ratings will become better !!! 5 stars for excellent customer service and for having such a friendly staff !!!

Food is great! But the delivery was 10 minutes late from the latest time quoted an was double the amount most places charge. I was paying the same amount when I had food delivered from the campustown location.

We had a good experience here. Gyro was great, portion sizes were good as well. The adult grilled cheese was a but greasy. Kids chicken was fine. A friend had a gyro later that the meat was pretty well done.

My husband loves the Chicago style got dogs here. I haven't yet been able to have hot dogs here yet due to being Prego but I have had different pitas and always been happy with my choices!
