My family came for New Years Eve because they had a coupon that expired that day. They were very dissatisfied and disgusted. My father ordered a full slab of ribs, which arrived in two half slab portions. Well, one of the halves tasted like it was spoiled. He requested a new half or that the price be changed to the half slab. Although he would prefer a new half because he was hungry. Well, when they received the bill they inquired as nothing had been done. To which the server replied she spoke to the manager but he went home so they would do nothing, but we should be happy they were using the coupon (which had no restrictions) My mother complained to the hostess, who had been missinformed that he had spoken to them before he left. I'm sorry but any place that serves rotten food for full price and won't replace it is a place that doesnt even deserve one star. Stay away!

Standard enormous-selection pancake house, with one exception. A lifetime of pancake houses, and I have never seen this on a menu. So logical, but never seen before: With the omelet you have two choices. Potatoes or fruit. And then the standards - rye toast, wheat toast, white toast, pancakes, or - what's this? - FRENCH TOAST. I have never had that option. What a great idea. Two half slices of French toast with my omelet. Not a stack of huge pancakes. But a couple pieces of really tasty French toast. Why doesn't everyone offer this? Service was excellent, the coffees and waters were regularly refilled, and everything else was a good pancake house experience. But every time I order an omelet henceforth I'll be thinking about having French toast with it.

The service was good here but that's about all that was good. I had a coupon and the manager didn't give me the full value of the coupon. The food was average at best.

Just moved to the area and trying out all of the local restaurants. The food here was not very good. Food came fast but cold. Tasted like it was microwaved. Service was good. The staff knows their menu.

We received our drinks in glasses with dirty rims, an easy thing to spot since we didn't get straws with them. The service was slow and below par. The food was okay but not good enough to take boxes home. The price was a bit much for the quality. Your better off going across the street to Dinos and get the same low quality meal for a much cheaper price.

I loooooooove this place. Service was good and the food was Delish. I went with a friend on Saturday around 1130am. The menu is huge and so much to choose from. I will definitely love to go back and will be going back. Very inexpensive. For two, our bill was $23.00 and my friend had a take out box but I didn't because I was hungry. I had the catfish lunch. My friend and her family are regulars here and never had a bad thing from the menu.

They have great breakfast, lunch, and dinner here! This has been our go-to breakfast place for the last few years, and has the best breakfast in the area. The only place we like better is Egglectic Cafe in Rolling Meadows - we go there when we're in the Schaumburg area. Bentley's has great skillets, french toast, pancakes, paninis, wraps, and really all of their sandwiches are worth trying.

Was in the area and I wanted breakfast. Found this on Yelp. The restaurant is in a big strip mall, plenty of parking. The restaurant is huge and the decor is kind of depressing looking, green carpet and burgundy chairs. The menu has a lot of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was greeted right away and after getting seated our waitress came right over. I order coffee which was ok and I ordered the steak skillet. The skillet was two eggs, hash-browns, cheese, mushrooms and onions. I ordered pancakes on the side. My skillet was just meh, nothing special and the pancakes tasted like they had been sitting out for a while and not fresh. My little one had an egg, pancake and bacon with a side of fruit. Our food was just ok. I would not go back for breakfast but might try them for dinner. The restaurant had quite a few people and it seemed to me like they were regulars because my waitress knew all of them. Service was good for just so so

I had high hopes for a second chance at scoring this infamous Baked Apple Pancake. I called in 40 minutes ahead and had to emphasize a small. They didn't ask for my name. We arrived and my bf put in his order. I got my pancake when his soup came out (fine by me!). Sooo... is it SUPPOSED to be eggy on the inside? It looked crispy/overdone on the outside and seemed WAY undercooked inside. It was completely dense and eggy. Not sure what part was supposed to resemble a pancake.. or even a cake. Needless to say I had a little bit, but it wasn't very palletable: the eggy batter melded with the apples.. it seemed half cooked and the texture was almost custard-like. I took leftovers home, so I hope it'll be better with a second nuke in the oven. (Note: the texture slightly improved after another 40 minutes in the oven, but it was still unpalletable with NO flavor. Tossed it.) I can't believe we paid $10 for that thing. Our server seemed really awesome at first, but she ended up being very inattentive. She never asked us about condiments and coffee refills and of course by the time we remembered to ask her for some, she was nowhere to be found (for looong periods of time). She gave us To Go boxes, but our check didn't come for well over 10 minutes afterward. And, sheyut, we were hell-bent on getting a second coffee refill, so that came after we finally got our check. The girl ringing out the checks was nice and personable, so that was a plus. I REALLYYYY wanted to like Bentley's. 0 for 2; just doesn't seem meant to be.

Came in for breakfast. Walked out after I took a sip of my coffee mug and wiped lipstick away from my mouth...it was all over the side of the mug. Yeah, I don't wear lipstick. Absolutely disgusting. Wash your dishes.

This is a family/greek type restaurant. It has a little of everything on the menu. Prices range from $7 - $12. We normally go there for breakfast and our favorites seem to be the skirt steak, omelets, pancakes, & country fried steak. Larger portions and we usually have some going home. Love the big side salads that come with dinner and the soups are my little guy's favorite. Good open faced turkey sandwich. Prices range from $7-$12.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for breakfast yesterday morning. Our waitress was awesome (tall thin white lady with bracelets). The food not bad. However, they lose major points for serving food on dirty ass dishes! We didn't notice till after we ate a few bites. They had to recook our meals. They're also pricey! So, we decided the next time we're in that area we'll drive down about half a block and check out Dino's Café instead. The customers were standing outside looking happy as if they had just had a healthy meal served on clean dishes. You could see it all over their faces.

Good place for breakfast. Typical breakfast selections that they do very well. Been here several times, the omelettes are particularly good. Nice and fluffy with a good variety. Place is clean, large and the staff is friendly and fast.

Good brunch place. I HIGHLY recommend the skillet-especially the Athenian skillet. So dang good, with feta cheese, mushrooms and cheese and home potatoes with a side of fresh French toast and hot coffee. Holy cow, someone had to roll me out of there by the end I was so pleasantly full

An experience worth the wait. A Pancake joint busy on the weekend morning, is typical, a premium breakfast place with delicious pancakes, creeps, waffles, and French toast, like Bentley's is well worth the wait to be seated. As a local and long time guest, the food, quality of menu, taste of food, overall service, and rating has always been of premium quality. I personally love the scramblers and omelets.

Love their food, never had a bad meal. Omelets are great and so are their homemade soups. Excellent Reuben Sandwich. Have visited several times

I enjoy coming in for breakfast. The food is very good, prices are reasonable and service is A-1 and quick even on a busy day. It is located in the Bloomingdale Lake Street strip mall right next to Dollar Tree and Pivot Point. As a testament of its quality, you will rarely see it empty on a Saturday or Sunday during breakfast hours. But the crowd does not impede your ability to get in and out without compromising the food's taste or temperature.

Throughout Chicagoland you'll find a lot of Greek style pancake houses. Generally superior to the big chains like Denny's, or IHOP the menu's are usually very similar even if the food isn't. One Sunday morning I was out searching for a new place to grab breakfast and came across Bentley's. I decided to stop in and was very promptly seated and handed a menu. The inside was fairly spacious with lots of tables set up. It's one of the larger pancake houses I've seen in terms of sheer floorspace. After looking over the menu I decided to try the polish skillet. The skillet I received had some nice pieces of polish sausage in it. Some white mostly unseasoned and flavorless potato mush at the bottom. Cheese, eggs and green peppers in it. The quality of the sausage was excellent, as was the cheese but there wasn't a lot of other flavors working here. There wasn't that much egg, and as mentioned the potato at the bottom was bland. With my skillet I had an option of pancakes or toast. The pancakes here were perfectly acceptable, but nothing super impressive. Service was speedy, though a bit impersonal and I was left with a decent meal, but I wasn't that impressed either. Overall I'd say Bentley's is an average pancake house and award it three stars. If you're nearby and hungry you won't be disappointed. But it's not worth going out of your way to visit here either.

I finally tried their sandwiches, omelets, and eggs Benedictine. All were so good. The service is still up to par. If you go there enough, the staff remembers you and what you ordered in the past. They're all really nice and I have never had a problem with any of them.

So im writing a review of a place so Christina B can shut her mouth about it already.... Got seated rather quick even though the place was pretty busy at the time. Coffee cup was dirty but got replacement pretty quick. Waitress was excellent. Food was pretty good. Had the chopped steak and eggs over medium with hash browns. Girlfriend had the Bentley omelet. She said was very good. Price was right for amount of food you get. Table was clean and was stocked with creamer. Over all a very pleasant experience.

This place is awful, have been there a few times recently and disappointed every time. Staff talks more to each other than the patrons. People at the front counter ignore people waiting to pay. Food is sub par and Eggs were cold, not good Go to Dino's across the street, at least staff Is friendly there.

This is my parents' new found restauant they enjoy. It's a diner feel, and the general customer appears to be of the older generation (to put it kindly). It has an extensive menu (7 pages to cover breakfast, lunch and dinner). Good thing they serve breakfast all day. That cut down on my menu options - I tried the Athenian skillet. My husband had the gyro skillet. Food came out in a timely manner. It was standard meals and portions. I didn't feel overstuffed nor had we the need to use any take home boxes for our food. Prices were appropriate for their items as well. I felt a little rushed by the wait staff. The server would come around and ask each time if any of us were done. To be fair, we did have a ton of plates on the table. I could see that she was trying to give us more space. But, it still felt pushy. I'll oblige when my parents chooses to eat here, but this isn't one of those places I must always go.

This is my mom and dad's favorite place to eat. It's a classic diner that caters to the senior citizen population (this is by no means a negative comment--just saying the type of crowd that typically hangs out there). They have the standard American/Greek breakfast staples; no panache, no new-fangled fusion foods. And really, sometimes you just need the simple stuff. My dad and I came here for breakfast, and my dad ordered something from the lunch menu accidentally. They were accommodating and made him the monte cristo and chicken soup he wanted.

Out of town and was just driving looking for a place for breakfast. What better place to stop than a pancake house. Pancakes were absolutely fluffy and the omelettes and potatoes were cooked well. Service was spot on. Coffee and water were never empty and our food came out promptly and hot.

There are PROS & CONS to this restaurant. I eat here pretty frequently on Sundays for my weekly big breakfast fix. While it's a standard pancake house, the food is exceptionally good. I've had their omelettes, french toast, sandwiches & crepes. They have delicious crepes with tasty sides & fresh juice. Prices are reasonable BUT... I've found the service to be lacking, and one particular substitution a bit confusing. My boyfriend & I have eaten here often since 2011, and we've always requested their smoked sausage with our breakfast sampler. A few weeks ago, we were told by the only service-lacking waitress we've encountered here, that there would be an upcharge of $6 EACH for a smoked sausage substitution! What a shock! Our total bill comes to $20 for two meals, but a side of sausage would increase it by $12....that's ridiculous! I clarified to be sure & added that we've never been told this as we often request the smoked sausage instead of bacon, ham, etc., and never had an upcharge. But she insisted, only to return a few minutes later to let us know the cook would make an exception this once but next time it would apply... Few weeks later, we had a different waitress and we placed our usual orders expecting the same upcharge speech. Nada, our waitress placed the order without mention of an upcharge, we enjoyed our meal & our bill came to $20. Just a few weeks after this, same scenario, different waitress, but this time she said it simply couldn't be done. Three different stories from three different waitresses. So, while I like the food & the restaurant, I really wish they'd get their act together with this whole smoked sausage confusion.. but till then, Millie's is still my go-to breakfast spot of choice.. even if it is a little further away.

This place has the most amazing pancakes. I mean, the syrup isn't anything to write home about and yet I can still gush about the pancakes. Hot, wonderful, belly-filling pancakes. Yum. The decor is nothing special, but the staff has always been friendly and the bathrooms have always been clean. I don't really care what the inside of a place looks like as long as it's clean and the food is good. I will be going back for more nummy pancakes.

Love this place - what a hidden gem! Great for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! Portions are large and prices are inexpensive. I love a home cooked meal and this is as close to it as you can get! So happy a restaurant like this is in our area! Their Menu is huge so there is always something different to eat, I especially love their salads and their french toast! See you soon Bentley's most likely for dinner tonight :)

Went here last Sunday at about 1:30pm with my husband. It looked fairly busy but we were seated along with another couple right away who sat down at the table next to us. My husband and I both ordered omelettes with toast/pancakes and hash browns. The couple next to us ordered a little before we did and the table behind us (family of 4) ordered just after us. We waited for a very long time and both tables beside us and behind us got their food (not simple omelettes) before we got ours. Our waitress said ours would be out shortly and after 10-15 minutes did we finally get our omelettes served by a younger man in a dress shirt. My husband asked him for ketchup, hot sauce and syrup and he said he would be right back. After about 15-20 minutes of us pushing our food back and forth on our plates, our waitress comes up to us and asked if we wanted boxes. I said no, we're still waiting for someone to bring syrup, ketchup and hot sauce. By that time everyone around us had already finished their meals and were about to head out. She came back, apologized and thanked us for our patience. Something tells me she could tell I wanted to go off on her but I held my composure. Quite a talent I must have. Anyway, the food was just blah. The service was poor although the waitress was nice. I would go elsewhere if given the choice again.

Soup. I go here for the soup. And, the fact that my husband and son can get breakfast anytime. They are fans of anywhere that cooks an egg properly. Bentley's does breakfast just right. I enjoy a chicken breast on a croissant with soup. Usually a chicken soup is available and I am a happy girl. The restaurant is clean and bright. Sadly their wait staff leaves something to be desired. On our most recent visit, my iced tea glass was empty the entire time that I had food in front of me. Our waitress disappeared multiple times (smoke breaks???) and the owner/manager kept looking at me, but never once made his way to the table. The waitress reappeared when we were done eating and we made our way out quickly. Will we be back? Sure. I like the soup.

There's a Bentley's right in town!?!? I used to drive all the way to Wood Dale to have breakfast at Bentley's but now I can cut that drive in half. I guess it's a good thing IHOP on North closed down or I wouldn't have realized this restaurant was here. Unfortunately, they are closed at 3pm so I can't have breakfast for dinner. This place is bigger than the Wood Dale location and they were packed for brunch on Sunday. There was about a 1/2 hour wait for a table. It was worth it, though. Their pancakes are as fluffy as ever. The biscuit and gravy was tasty and delicious. I like that they have flavored creamers for the coffee. The food was great and the service was great. I cannot ask for much more out of a breakfast place.

Ha, did you know there is a Bentley's in Wood Dale? Yeah, that's where I wrote my original review, but I meant to review THIS place! Yeah, Big loser "L" on my forehead. Boooo! Anywho, I love this Bentleys! It's busy, especially on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Snagging a seat at the counter is easy on those busy mornings but just be warned, the cacophony of plates clashing at the busboy station and server to cook conversation behind the counter might upset you if you're looking for a quiet morning. There's a huge breakfast and lunch menu but I've always gone for the breakfast no matter the time of day. Portions are huge and everything is very fresh. This weekend I tried the veggie skillet for the first time and it was really tasty. The veggies were crisp-tender which to me is perfect cuz I am not a fan of soggy veggies. I've had different breakfast items from the Benedict's to omelets to pancakes/french toast and have never been disappointed. Nothing too, too inventive on the menu--basic breakfasts, but they do not disappoint. A big plus is the single-serving of flavored creamers (International delight) on the table. Coffee is hot and strong and plentiful--service is friendly and fast. I guess we're regulars because when the servers remember that I like regular coffee and hubsbie likes his milk served with his breakfast and not before--wow, those things make breakfast a little special.

Went here for breakfast a few weeks back and this hit a home run for me. The food was fast and tasty. The service was solid. The prices were reasonable. I'll be back soon. The potatoes were the best I have ever had.

Working from home allows my wife and I to check a lot of different lunch and dinner spots here in Bloomingdale. We like this place the most. Dollar-for-dollar they deliver a great product. Breakfast any time, great soups, tons of lunch items that if you were to go there every day for 3 months, you could have something new each time. When compared to other local lunch spots, there are few that offer soup in the price of the meal. Other restaurants charge the same price as Bentley's for lunch, but do not include soup. I read one review that said the place is not as good as when it first opened. Nonsense. It is clean, the staff is very friendly, and the food is good good good. Go there a few times and, like us, you will probably become friends with the entire staff. They take care of you! We go there for any occasion.

I came here for a quick lunch one day while shopping in the area. It looked like your typical breakfast/lunch place from the outside and I figured that I would get a sandwich and go about my day. When I sat down and looked at the menu, I noticed a lot of choices - but what jumped out at me was a chopped Greek salad. I LOVE Greek salad, but sometimes it is annoying to eat because what you get is a salad with tons of huge ingredients on top that you then have to take off the salad and cut into pieces. I asked the waitress how it was and she told me "excellent". So I went with her recommendation and ordered up the salad with some chicken noodle soup. The salad was the best Greek salad that I have ever had with all of the classic Greek salad ingredients: cucumbers, feta cheese, Greek olives, peppers all chopped into bite sized pieces. The soup was pretty darn good too. This place isn't close to my house and I don't frequent this area too often, but I will tell you that if I even come back that I will come here for this salad.

They have new owners. The food is not the same. We used to go there a lot for breakfast. They have made changes and the food is not good anymore. So sad used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Staff is very nice and service is good, but food is just not the same. Maybe they are cutting corners and using inferior products just not sure but won't be going back

Hey, its basically a breakfast shop so if you're looking for some exotic dishes...look elsewhere. But for what they do, they do well. Been there over a dozen times and service has always been prompt and helpful. The breakfast menu is the usual fair with a handful of surprises thrown in...Im a bacon & eggs guy but my wife and son were quite pleased with whatever they have chosen. The food is good, fresh and the portions are plentiful. We've only been there for breakfast, so can't comment on their lunch(dinner?) menu but it is sizable.

  • Nicole L.

This place seems busy most of the time so I figured it would be good. It was ok, but I've had better. I don't like paying a lot for breakfast and I think this place is a little pricey for what you get. Their skillets aren't nearly as good as the Sandpiper in Bolingbrook.

went out for breakfast with my boyfriend & his family... everyone's food was awful. all drenched in oil; from the plain 2 eggs to the omelettes... we all had stomach aches the rest of the day from all the greasy food. Never going back.
